Our dryer died so we went to the local Lowe’s and asked the salesman for two things: 1) something in stock and 2) something that could be delivered the next day. We bought a dryer, paid all the extra hidden fees > $150- and were promised a call by 6PM to schedule delivery. NO call. The hubs went back to the store and talked with the manager. He assured us we were on the manifest and the dryer would be delivered between 4PM and 8PM. It is now 10:50PM. We spoke with the manager. The truck is back and no one seems to know what happened. We also have NO assurance it will be delivered tomorrow. Very unhappy with customer service. NO one answers the phones after 6:00PM. I was on hold for 90 minutes. (That’s when my husband went back to the store). The line kept assuring us our call would be answered shortly. This is a very poor start and does not bode well. So disappointed with this service- and we feel they basically lied to get the sale.
Brand new to Hastings and needed a washer dryer and stove, Mason listen to me explained about a new company and was very professional and informative. We found the stove that I wanted and everything was ordered and set up for delivery within a half an hour. If you need appliances Mason is your man Jason and Paul also did a great job helping
Nick in seasonal is very helpful. I was very impressed with his customer service skills. Nick had patience and answers to all of my questions. You do not encounter people like nick very often.
Bought carpet and thought it would be great to take advantage of the free installation. They dont give you an itemized bill, unless you ask for one, and its too try to get you to pay for things you werent expecting... Like $75 to move a bed that wasnt going to be in the room and $99 to remove glued down carpet that wasnt glued down. It also took 68 days from the time Lowes had my $1000 until it was installed. Dealing with the installment company was a joke too. Its a shame because I could have supported a local company but thought the big box store could save me money. Lesson learned.

Reasonably stocked. Dont care to be stared down exiting the store however AFTER purchase like we were suspect. Not a thank you come again but looking at US. I do believe this location needs overhaul on PROPER customer service.I MUST say however i was asked once if i was finding everything okay by a bright eyed polite woman
On September 6 around 9 am I stopped by to get some paint. There was a red haired woman working in paint department who passed by me three times without asking if i need help at the area where they mjx paint. Today I ordered twi toilets and was suppose to receive email confirmation but so far nothing. By now I have been waiting for 22 minutes for someone to answer. You have horrible customer service.

Went looking for a specific hose reel. Online indicated there were 20 in stock. Found the empty space for them? Where are they hiding? Travis climbed a ladder and found them, 12 ft up. Not easy. Kudos to Travis and Lowes.

Amazing service at this location. I usually goto a different lumber store closer to my home but they didnt have what I needed in stock. Lowes not only had plenty but the gentleman that helped me was amazing and offered some much needed advice on my project.
Friendly staff. Carry just about anything you need for home improvements at a decent price. They also carry primo water jugs. Cuts are available for most wood on site.

Helpful, courteous staff. I discovered while using a company credit card that customer service are very concerned with protecting against credit card fraud. A minor delay in processing my transaction was well worth the wait given assurances that staff will authenticate me as an authorized user of the credit card. Good job!

For such an established company that I frequent for needed supplies, I am highly disappointed at the phone system in this day and age. The number to installation services, is automated of course, like all big companies. It literally goes nowhere! No way to leave a message and will NEVER connect to a live person. A very difficult and frustrating experience just to set up a simple installation. Please Lowes company, work on this. No customer should ever be so frustrated with something so normal as a connected call. Other than this, Lowes always has tons of usable stuff for work and home!

I have frequently used this Lowes for many projects as well as appliance purchases. Lowes seems to keep their online inventory up to date. Today was great, looked online for exactly what I needed, found my microwave ran into town and picked it up. Very convenient and easy. I will return here for any future needs.
I couldn’t view flooring colors without ordering them for $3 each and now they appear to be lost. I’ve talked to customer service in person and by chat - just a waste of time. No one seems to care what this is doing to our project.
Fantastic help by Ben in paint on March 20, 2021. I had an older SW ceiling paint line that was discontinued. He tried two different brands and found a perfect match to mine without having to resort to color match.
I like Lowes, but avoid the Valspar semi gloss paint. Painted all our interior doors a few weeks ago and theyre still tacky! Not happy.
What has happened to customer service??? I was in the garden center today there were Id say 4 employees chatting and when I asked the check out lady if I could have assistance loading some mulch she asked one of the chatting employees if that area was self serve only and the answer was yes. Ok so I dont consider my self helpless but I am 66 I also noticed a couple probably in their 70 s getting ready to load a couple bags of mulch. I have bought my mulch from this store for over 3 years first time Ive been told self serve.Im going to go else where to see if I can get some help loading. I hope this is not a sign of things to come. Very disappointed.

I am only familiar with the Lowe’s in Kentwood. I work very close and go there for quick supplies quite often. This place is managed terribly. You can’t find anything and even when you ask and employee they run around the isles just like I do looking for whatever even if they look it up on their phone it’s wrong. It’s a zoo it’s a mess I don’t know who’s managing this one but they need to be fired.
Have always had good service at this lowes which is why they get 5 stars. However, I am so sick of the website item locations being incorrect. I understand youll move things around for floor sets but corporate has to come up with a better way to update the website. The store is so big it is hard to find an associate sometimes and if the item locations were accurate on the website it would be much appreciated.
Typical big box store with most anything you need. I did have to ask 3 different associates before they could correctly direct me to what I wanted.

I looked online for a garage door opener. The website listed how many the store had. It also told me the aisle number and the bay number. I was able to walk right to it, pick it up and take it to the checkout. Took 5 minutes
We ordered a utility tub, and the third party delivery service that Lowe’s uses failed to show up. So Lowe’s sent a Lowe’s employee to bring it to us personally, and waived the delivery fee! I’ve counted on Lowe’s for so many things, and they’ve never failed to perform. Thanks!
Their wood sewing machine is very limited, so you have to take wooden blocks to cut somewhere else.
Absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced when buying appliances. If you call the store 95% you will be hung up in before talking to anyone. I wish in the store was better; waiting over 30 minutes to talk to anyone in the department. DO NOT SHOP HERE FOR APPLIANCES. Awful.

Paint shop gave us the wrong color. Correctly labeled, but wrong color. Meaning that when I bought some more paint to finish the room, the new paint did not match the rest of the room... And now there is no way to get the initial color again. Just wasted a whole weekend painting, not to mention about $80 of paint. Im gutted.
Great place they have everything except what we went for. Brick toppers, didnt have our color.

Ive been here a few times and I think its worth the extra 5 minutes to go to Home Depot.Lowes has zero effort concern with the current situation and has a lot of people walking around without masks. Its off putting when you have some high risk family members that youre trying to keep healthy. I know that stores cant always get everyone to be a reasonable human being, but this place is certainly the worst mask enforcement Ive seen. Its important for home improvement stores to take this seriously as everyone occasionally needs things to fix issues in their homes.Customer service is also not quite as good as at Home Depot.Selection of items here is pretty good though.

I called Plainfield Lowls to see if they had coffee pots in store for sale and one of there workers said they did so I left 28st Grand Rapids to head there to get it.I got there and they said there coffee pot are all on line.For there i was absoulty furious I drove all the way there for nothing and wasted my time and gas. They should do some research in there store or know there inventory before they give a customer an answer to there question.Very disappointed and very unpleased with this place.

Mckinleigh and Dallas were my go to persons. Mckinleigh actually basically sold me on a washer and warranty while in a furniture store lol. A day or two after our paths crossed I purchased a washing machine from Lowes along with an extendedwarranty. She spoke with so much knowledge and commitment, I knew her suggestions would be accurate and they were. It was delivered and I am so happy. She deserves recognition for going above and beyond. I can tell she loves her profession and I appreciate her help. I will always choose Lowes and seek her help for my future appliance purchases.

We ordered these real adarondeck chairs online a couple weeks ago. Paid >$100 for shipping to our house in Comstock Park. Got an email they were at the Kentwood store. Did we want to receive them Monday or save the shipping and pick them up? Since it was only a 20 minute drive.... Puck them up in time for guests on Fathers Day!Thank you Lowes!!!

Every Lowes around Grand Rapids never seems to have an employee around when I need one. Home depot I get asked if I need help 5 times before I do actually need it.
Absolutely wonderful experience with the delivery guys, Marcel and Jeff. They delivered right on time and were very prompt and professional. I didnt realize when I was purchasing the washer and dryer I was supposed to ensure I had the right tubes and vents. Thankfully the washer had the tubes inside it and with the dryer vent, Marcel and Jeff were able to problem solve and I didnt need anything extra. Jeff even went as far as to help screw the railing hardware back into my wall because I had said it was really difficult to hand screw out (I need a power drill...). After they installed and hooked everything up, they made sure both worked and really made me feel like I was being taken care of. Incredible guys, 10/10 would recommend. Appreciate their help so much!

This is my go-to store for many home improvement needs. I’ve been happy shopping there until this week, when they showed me that they don’t care about my health, their other guests health, nor their employees health. What’s the point of me ordering online for curbside pickup if their staff isn’t wearing masks or gloves? Got home and sanitized the things I bought, and will be shifting my business to Home Depot and my local neighborhood hardware store when possible (where even the owner Bill wears a mask and they’ve been taking it seriously for a while). Please do better and demonstrate it. Until then, peace.
