I had an early morning surgery scheduled at Butterworth Hospital, needed to be picked up by 6:45am. One taxi company told me they didnt have drivers out that early. Oh great. Happened to call My Taxi Service and Joel agreed to pick me up around 6:30am. He did! Very much appreciated. Made it to my surgery on time. And then, I found out Id be sent home the same day. But, had to have someone with me (due to anesthesia). So, called Joel again. He agreed to pick up my wife in Lowell, then pick me up at Butterworth and then take us both home to Lowell. He came thru for us again. To top it off, we were talking about music on the way home and he sang us a song.. a hymn called Everybody Ought to Know. Hes got a great voice! If you need a reliable, fun ride to wherever youre going, give Joel a call. He was a life-saver for us. Thanks Joel!

My van broke down just before the airport called for a taxi to get service a ride to the airport the rest of the waytheir car seats out the taxi took off. not only was the taxi guy in the wrong parking place and the wrong destination for him to pick me up but he didnt even call to see if we needed help with the car seat he didnt even relocate himself to come get us because were broke down in the middle of four way lane so instead of crossing with kids and car seats we took a safer route to a parking lot close and instead of meeting us over there the cab driver just took off. Then when I called dispatch about my ride they told us that we had walked off so they figured we didnt need a ride when I tried to tell dispatch that no we did not walk off we were trying to get to a safe location with two kids in car seats and luggage the guy proceeded to get rude and mouthy and hang up the phone and would not answer the phone to continue to take my complaint or see if we still needed a ride or anything else. this business is unprofessional rude and I will never call them again I will walk to where I need to before I call this business again. Zero customer service and not to mention no manners whatsoever to correct the situation that they were at fault for. Giant thumbs down.

From now on, I will always call My Taxi Service first when I need travel assistance in Grand Rapids. Grand Rapids is a very difficult place to find a taxi or rideshare service. I was on a very time sensitive medical courier mission and had tried to obtain Lyft/Uber and taxi service to no avail. I did contact a well known taxi service and booked their service. After 45 minutes, I called back and they told me they no longer had any drivers available. This was after they said their taxi would be there in 30 minutes. This well known taxi company gave me the number of My Taxi Service as their recommended source. I called them, and they were very professional. Their taxi (actually a mini van) arrived within the time quoted. The driver was very personable and agreed to not only take me from my hotel to the medical center where I would pick up my medical products, but agreed to wait as well. The driver then took me straight to the airport. He knew the best routes and was very efficient. The price was very reasonable as well.

When no other taxi service came through for me, they did. I was stuck in Allendale and a driver came to pick me up. He drove me to the airport and as late I was, he got me to my flight with minutes left. Thank you. This company will treat you well!

Absolutely the best taxi service, I would highly recommend this taxi service. The driver patiently waited while I was trying to find a hotel and after trying 10 hotels and driving around everywhere I finally found one. Without his help I dont know what I wouldve done.

I called My Taxi Service for a pickup from the airport. I would have typically defaulted to an Uber or Lyft except there were no drivers out. The driver called when he arrived, as promised, and was able to take me as well as another couple who were also in need of a ride. The car was clean and had third-row seating so everyone was comfortable. COVID precautions in place. Reasonably priced. I would definitely call on My Taxi Service again in lieu of Uber or Lyft, which are not dependable.

These gentleman drove me from the Ronald McDonald House to a hospital and back twice a day for nearly a week. Even taking time to do so on Christmas Day so I didnt miss visiting my son. They were all extremely nice and went the extra mile to help. Even going so far as to try and find me a cheaper car rental the day before I left. They were always on time and so was I. Thank you guys, you were great!

Best service for call-ahead needs! Driver always lets you know about how long it will take to get to you, or you can even schedule hours in advance. And prices are competitive or better. Highly recommend My Taxi to anyone that needs a ride!

Honestly, I was a little worried about getting a taxi to the airport after seeing the available options in the area and how bad the reviews were. I’m so happy that I called this taxi service. I called the night before for a 430 am pick up and the driver was there at 425 the next morning. He got us to where we needed to go and the price was extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend using this company over others in the area.

Just watched your driver (Plate E**9550 @ 4:45pm 5/9/19 Burlingame) almost run a motorcyclist off the road by trying to pass him in the same lane! Nearly hit me trying to do it just so we can stop at a red light together a few feet away. Never used the service but I dont want to get into a wreck when others use this service.

My Taxi was on time (at 5:15 am) and a very personable driver. He got us to the train station on time despite the construction on the freeway.

I loved this service.. when I called and it was stated a cab would be to pick me up in 10min, it arrived in 7min.. very customer friendly awesome service I would always call them.. Im very satisfied with everything Ive experienced with them from the driver, the cleanliness of the van, the fact that I didnt have to touch the door.. they do have a min. of $10 my ride was about $6 however I would have tipped the driver regardless.. well worth it..

Pick up was on time which was great. I was confused when I saw it was a Metro Cab but he got me to my destination in one piece. Low rating mostly comes from the price. $22 for a 4 mile ride that look about 15 minutes. No way to verify because he wasnt running a meter. Assuming because its only when he drives for Metro.

I called the driver 2 days before we wanted to leave and he assured me hewould be at my home to take us to the airport at 3:30 a.m. I did not know the company but I contacted him the day before we needed to leave to make sure of the time! The driver was in my driveway a little earlier than 3:30. I will be sure to use this company once again in the spring!!

I called for a cab at 2:00 pm today the guy said it would be a 35 min wait... well needless to say he never show up had to order a fricken Uber at about 3:45 and the person in the office never answered my phone calls after I called and asked where my taxi was BY FAR THE WORST TAXI SERVICE EVER

Landy was the kindest driver Ive ever had. I overslept (a travelers worst nightmare) and Landy called my mobile, woke me and waited the 15 minutes it took me to get out of the house. I felt awful, but he was gracious and very understanding. Im calling whenever I need a ride.

Awesome find! Since Runabouts has left, I was now in need to find a reliable airport transportation. This time, I needed a 4:30am pickup to take me to the airport. I was nervous considering most taxi services in GR all have low ratings with horrible reviews plus I was leaving in one of the worse winter storms weve seen (polar vortex whatevs). So I found this company with a good star rating and took a chance. Im so glad I did. They were great on the phone, very accommodating. The driver was 10 mins early and just waited in my drivway. His car was clean, he got out and took my bags for me, and he was really pleasant to talk with. He had snow tires which made the ride super smooth and drove perfectly. So much better of an experience than the typical Uber or Lyft rides Ive had. I also found out that the company has specialized insurance that Uber/Lyft drivers dont have, which made me further understand how much more of an upgrade this really was. I will keep this number on speed dial for sure.If you are reading this, trying to find a reliable, safe transportation service, look no further. Thanks, My Taxi Service!

How do you have no service to/from the airport?

Would not use just based on the driving habits that I have witnessed. I understand timely service, but driving at high rate of speed and cutting others off is not safe.

I called for a taxi at 1:59 pm and was told it would be there in 30 mins. I called back and there of course was NO ANSWER so I had to call a different LOCAL service who showed up within 15 mins and got paid!!! Worst taxi service in Grand Rapids!!!

Says they will be here in 15 mins . Not called them at 10: 15 am its 10:31 still not here try to call to cancel but no one answers the phone at the place the driver doesnt answer the phone either . Nor worth it
