Ive now worked close to this facility for about 4 years and feel confident in being able to write a truthful review. In the winter months it is difficult to grasp the aroma that rises from this massive open sewage facility. The water is tranquil and is full of ducks who relax in the magical pond, but never seem to be able to fly out. By the time summer rolls around, a thick layer of brown muck forms over the entire surface and you get use to the overpowering poop smell which is also mixed with the same smells i encountered in Iraq and raising pigs as a child. My absolute favorite is to ride by on a 100F day on the motorcycle and breathe in the noxious gas enough to where i almost crash into the train tracks.Rare occasions... which is about once every year you will have the chance to experience what i call brown haze. This only happens when a warm day with high evaporation hits and with considerable amounts of wind. Out of nowhere a rain storm will hit and bring the bellowing smell of death directly to your door or place of work.A must visit if you have not been!
Where else in Kennewick can you enjoy the sight of a brown fountain!
