Handicap shower isnt exactly handicap friendly. Its the worst one of all the planet fitness Ive been to thru 5 states. The biggest problem- space. If youre in a wheelchair and need room, nope. If youre a bigger person and need space, nope. You need the chair but have joint and muscle problems making it hard to bend and move freely, nope. Its not made for you. The showerhead had no way of being propped up if you need hands free and of course sprays around if you let go. The only thing good is the hook (no other planet fitness Ive seen has a hook for the handicap shower.) And the seat is strong, but no room to really sit and move freely, so youre stuck and its painful if you need to move around. And forget trying to get dressed, carry your stuff across the way to a changing room, even if youre wet and struggling.This is also the first Planet fitness we werent greeted at. They were just busy chatting behind the counter. And on the way out his head was down on his phone, so silence coming and going. Which is kinda whatever, I only noticed cuz every planet fitness has had super friendly and welcoming staff. 24 hour fitness rarely does. So I notice the difference.

I signed up when and because they were open 24-7.That is no longer the case.The tanning beds and hydro massage beds used to work. Now, all the tanning beds do is get warm/hot-they dont tan AT ALL!! Tonight the hydro bed stopped three times (timer didnt stop - just the massage) and the pressure was wimpy. Really wimpy. Considering I have not been there for at least 2 months (dues paid monthly)I fully expected my trip over to be worth while. It wasnt worth my drive over!

For the price you pay and on top of it being cheap you definitely get a variety of equipment and amenities. At most with there cheap membership you pay a bit more than $150 in a year in which going to golds or club 24 I’d be paying $100 a month. I love the environment and staff, a very comfortable place to workout without all the steroid taking gym junkies. The equipment, and locker room is well maintained I always see a staff member cleaning. The Kennewick Planet Fitness is my home away from home :)

Failed to tell me for 5 months that my card was being declined and charged me 5 months worth of late fees. A problem that could have been easily fixed if the staff would simply take a look at my profile and seen that my card didnt go through and actually tell me when it doesnt so I dont rack up late fees. Absolutely will not be going here again.

This gym failed to correctly cancel my account and charged me for a full year. When I noticed the monthly withdrawals from my account and contacted them for a refund they refused and had the audacity to blame me for their mistakes. I travel for work and thought this would be a good place to train. I recommend finding a place that cares more for their clients. I worked out 3 times in one week canceled and was still charged after 2 attempts to cancel. It cool!!

Ive been to a few PFs in Vancouver before moving here and Im very happy that most of the staff are friendly. The machines and gear are clean, well-maintained and easy to get to. The people working out are respectful as well. I dont feel like Im in a fishbowl with a bunch of superfit folks looking down at me like I did at a bigger gym.

Never thought I would actually get myself to go to the gym, & for some reason I did and I chose planet fitness ! Well its awesome and has a good vibe to workout and the features like the hydro message is very relaxing .

Finally a gym that doesnt require you to sign a 12 to 24 month contract. I was able to sign up for $10 a month, no contract. They are also open 24 hours everyday. The equipment is all new. I really like that they have huge fans creating a slight breeze. It really helps cool off when your on the treadmill. They do a great job of keeping this place clean.

Love the massage options for quick relaxation during a busy workday. Usually just use the cardio options there but there are a lot of different options.

This gym is OK, not as big as other planet fitness gyms that Ive been to, and you must wear your mask when you are not on the exercise equipment.

I visited this Planet Fitness last week and was immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the facility, to include the locker room and restrooms. I travel a lot and visit a PF wherever I go, and this was by far the best one Ive visited yet. Aside from the staff at the front desk not being particularly friendly, I have nothing but positive things to say about this location - from the layout of the equipment, to the modernized rowing machines. If I return to this area in the future, Ill definitely pay this PF another visit.

Wow this place is great. When they say judgment free they mean it I see all kinds of fitness minded people and not one make me feel uncomfortable. Plus their specials if you can be a part are great paying only $10 a month is great outside of a $45 anual fee even if divided out it smokes the competition.

I used to go to Gold’s. I was told this place had a cheaper member option so I went in. The guy was trying really hard to sell me on a black card membership but I told him I wanted the basic because I had no interest in paying the same price as I was at Gold’s. So the transaction is finished and I’m informed I’ll get a confirmation email within 48 hours, I never get it. Time for first payment to come out and almost $30 is deducted from my account. I was told the basic membership was $10/month. I call and I’m informed I signed up for the black card membership, I ask if I can get a refund because I did not choose that option, he says no but offers to change my account to the basic. Cool. So just to confirm, I go in to work out and ask the guy up front if my membership type got changed. He says no and informs me I need to speak to a manager. They’re there from 8-5, Monday-Friday. That’s my exact work schedule. I can’t go in. So I try to call the manager on a break at work and he says “Unfortunately I wasn’t here and I don’t know how the conversation went but we give customers options.” I tell him that I understand that but I told the original guy “I have no use for a black card membership, I’m not interested in classes or paying what I was paying at Gold’s. Why would I switch gyms and pay the same price for less equipment?” He repeats that he wasn’t there for the conversation and that he can change my membership type if I can “find time” to come in and it’ll cost even more money. So basically, I’ve had a membership here for a month and a half and I’m already out over $100 and I’ve received no help. I even emailed a month ago and have gotten no response. I now get to spend almost another $100 just to cancel.This place is unprofessional. Go to Gold’s or really, any other gym.

Great staff. Im still relatively new to the gym and they have been very helpful in helping me find my way around and get the most out of my Black Card membership.

Very very Mediocre. All machine based club. If youre there to work and own every rep you achieve better make sure to be quiet or they will point scream kick and stare you out of the gym. Or use the link alarm on you..Golds Gym or Club 24 is way better.

Thank you planet fitness for caring about your customers concerns! I like to maintain my privacy as much as possible which can be hard in the locker room. After mentioning that the shower curtains were not wide enough to effectively cover to opening it was fixed. Not only was it fixed, but new curtains were installed the next morning!The little things like listening to your customer concerns and addressing them promptly is how you make a customer for life. It isnt possible to do everything perfectly all the time but how you react to constructive criticism shows your integrity as a business. Thank you for making your customers problem, your problem. You rock!

Why do I love Planet Fitness? As a black card member, the benefits are great! I can take a guest for free every day. I can use the massage chairs, hydro massage beds, tanning booths, for free everyday! There are plenty of work out equipment so there is not a long wait to use anything. They have a stretching room, circuit training and provide free exercise classes for members. And the atmosphere is extremely non-judgmental.

Love this place. Its open 24-7 and Ive never had a problem getting on a machine or using a workout station. They have enough nice equipment so that it never seems crowded. If you want a simple place to get a good workout at the cheapest price around, thats the place to be.

The employees are always late - the gym should open at 7 AM on weekends, but routinely opens at 7:20-7:30, with the employee showing up and unlocking the doors at their leisure. Not a good place for people with a tight schedule.

Great facility and very clean. The lack of what you need to allow your child 13 year old to be your extra guest with the Black Card is frankly embarrassing on their part. Third straight time trying to come in with her. First time was told need photo ID. So I call and verify if a school ID is good. They respond with a yes. So I show up this morning with her ID and I get oh you need her birth certificate. So I suggested to the woman at the front desk the lack of policy understanding on this locations part is ridiculous along with the communication with the customers. So did the last two prior employees just blow me off? I don’t appreciate the lack of caring and just vomiting an easy answer regardless of its correct or not. Shame on the customer service.

Beautiful new products, wonderful staff and conpetative pricing. Guests allowed to workout but only to sample massage and tanning rooms. No pool or basketball court but open 24 hours makes up for that. A great home gym.

I am really liking this gym! The workout options are plentiful but I especially like the 30 minute option if I dont have a lot of time. I thought Id miss the sauna at my old gym but the tanning and hydro-massage make up for it. The staff is awesome and it is always really clean. Highly recommend it!

Amazing gym. Ive been to many, including golds for almost 3 years. Planet Fitness has all the equipment you need including free weights and hammer strength machines. Lots of cardio equipment as well. Ive been to multiple planet fitness locations and they all seem the same when it comes to cleanliness and layout. Love working out here and the staff are helpful. I got a 24 hour pass and they even let me know about it to use the gym.

So sick of overdraft fees when account information was changed and inconsistent information from employees . So glad everyone can’t be on the same page and proper information given to the customers. Also Love that they pull 7 days earlier then your due date and date listed on contract .

I have always liked Planet Fitness. My friend owns two in Orlando and the only difference I see is the lack of a flat bench and squat rack. It’s possibly a situation of not having enough room and I’m ok with that.I don’t have nor have I ever seen any of the things in the negative reviews. Clean, tanning beds always have been available, easy to access equipment, all kinds of people from competing bodybuilders to average people wanting to lose weight. I like the tanning beds!

If there was a way to select negative stars I certainly would!! The front desk is ridiculous! The management and staff need training. They are rude and none of them are on the same page as far as their rules! My daughter loves going there because its close to work where we work, she typically goes with my assistant and they have a great workout on their lunch break. This has been going on since you all opened!! Now all of a sudden we are being told that she cant come in with anyone but a parent!?! That was not what we were told when we signed up. She can in yesterday and today she was denied?!?! She was with a responsible adult that shes been going with for almost a year now!! While your prices might be good the staff and some of the policies are a joke!! How can you refuse to let someone go after they have been going for almost a year and now tell them no you have to come with a parent. This is ridiculous and I will be canceling my membership and joining Lifequest which is close to our house and their policy on minors is much more reasonable!!! Suggestion would be to have a list of adults that your minor is allowed to come work out with!!!

Atmosphere is great for someone who wants to get fit but is stressed in finding somewhere they can comfortably get a workout

A literal judgment-free zone. Planet Fitness has a variety of equipment to choose from, when working out. You can sign up for classes if you need help with training on a certain equipment you havent been on before. There are also TVs, so that when you are working out, you can have some entertainment to get in the zone. Overall, a friendly environment.

On my bank statement this month Planet Fitness charged my account$42.35. Thats double. Everyone should check their bank statements.

I havent been a member for long but i enjoy going here. Customers actually wipe down machines after they are done with equipment. There is a variety of equipment to use and its generally easy to find what you want available.I wasnt given a tour of the gym as advertised and i was too shy to ask so thats kind of on me.I do wish they had more machines to work abdominals, or that they had the 12 minute abs in this facility.Its a great gym to be a part of

Its the cleanest gym I found in Tri-Cities. Its the cheapest gym Ive ever belong to. The tanning is free with the black membership and basically is the price of going one time somewhere else oh, thats already paying for itself. They have red light therapy, massage tables and chairs, everything being included in the black membership. You really like the day promote Im non-judgment atmosphere and try to welcome people from all places on their fitness journey.Its very clean! The front desk has been very nice and helpful.Female bathroom / locker room is the nicest one I found in Tri-Cities for sure and well maintained.They only have one type of elliptical machine I believe, which is a bummer since its not the one I like. That just personal preference though.

This place is no different if your not making some kind of noise when you workout then your really not working out. But damn come on man, I feel like this is a gym for adult babies and soccer moms who want to dress up to workout.. If your wanting a seriously hard workout this isnt the place for you, if your a safe space baby and a neglected wife then this is your spot....

So sick of pf. They have overcharged my account on numerous occasions causing overdraft fees. BEWARE they require u to pay $1 WHEN U SIGN UP. With a debit card and THEN have to do recurring payments from a checking account. They have both your info and permission to use it since u signed the contract. Did a fraud investigation at my bank and they said thats how gyms are and I would have to take it up with them. They said they dont have the account # Im alleging their taking $ our of on file. Yet..its on my statement! Crooks

They charged the wrong account so I decided to cancel my membership here. I was in the middle of moving out of state and called them and they told me to go to the nearest planet fitness to cancel. So after I moved out of state I went to one and was told I had to cancel at the location I signed up with. I called them again and was told that of I mailed a letter stating that I wanted to cancel my membership by the 10th I would not be charged. Today I received an email stating that I needed to fill out a form and that I would be charged for this month. I have called over 30 times in the last 3 weeks and NOBODY will answer the phone. I have left numerous voicemails and nobody will call me back. This is absolutely ridiculous and I dont understand why the employees are not on the same page, I am beyond pissed that I now will have to pay my membership and be charged for canceling due to the fact that 2 different employees told me something different about canceling. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Would be better with a free weight barbell, bit hey thats planet fitness for you. The Pasco gym has a rowing machine while this facility does not. You really cant beat $20 a month.

I joined planet fitness dec 28th of 2017. 2 weeks later my job moved me northern Washington. The closest pf is 3 1/2 hours away in Spokane. I called pf. Told them I needed to cancel my account as I have never stepped foot in their gym and never even got my free tshirt. I joined online as I am familiar with pf. I dated Mike the man who started this gym back in Dover NH where he opened the first pf. Anyway I was told that I have to come in to cancel. I explained that I am not driving a 10 hour round trip to sign a piece of paper. I was told thats the only way. My membership is over this month. I called today to make sure they do not roll over my membership. That I am coming down for the holidays to visit family during Christmas week. I was told I need to come in by the 10th. This is the 11th. I was then told I should have called earlier. I said I did, 12 months ago. I am so angry with this location. Oh did I mention I then got hung up on. I just want to cry Im so angry.Please management. In reading the reviews for your location sounds like you have employees that are under trained and lack human kindness.

This is for the Kennewick location only... I love my Pasco location. I am preparing for a trip to see the sun for Christmas and using the tanning beds...I was in Kennewick, and decided stopped at the Kennewick Planet Fitness to use the tanning....only to be told they have been WAITING for a few days for the manager to fix their tanning beds?? They are ALL broken .... Really?? Waiting?? Rediculous.

I would not recommend this place. The staff is not trained on the equipment you use. So if your new forget getting any help. I was so embrassed to have others watch me as I try to figure out what to do or how to use anything. The staff has no idea either. I cancled my membership.
