The front-end staff is friendly, professional, and helpful. They are prompt with answering questions concerning appointments and services offered. The prices are high here, and I felt pressured into getting my dogs teeth cleaned when I was there for vaccines and allergies. It made me feel like the focus of why I visited was being overlooked to sell the dental cleaning for my dog. Also, they made it sound like they might even have to pull teeth. I have had my dogs teeth checked at my other vets office, and they have never mentioned her needing her teeth cleaned yet as the dog is two years old. I dont have confidence in diagnosis from this clinic, and I cannot recommend them. I recommend doing your homework before visiting here and always get a second opinion. Overall, the allergy shot did help my dogs skin issues, and she is doing a lot better.

This team is made of heroes. My cat has had many complicated urinary issues and this team has been with me since day 1.Theyve made sure hes gotten all the best care and are always willing to take a phone call to give advice. They walked me through everything and provided me all of the paperwork to explain it.I was worried about my cat handling a long roadtrip, they met with me car side and got him medication and offered free trial size products for anti-stress.Even now living across the country theyve consulted me on the phone about what to do during my cats urinary infection flare-up. Theyre all so nice and caring. The best vet Ive been to in the area.

My experiences here have always been friendly, competent and efficient. I receive clear communication about my pets health throughout my pets visit. I get a chance to have one on one phone time with both the vet and vet techs. I feel my pet is taken care of and can get in quickly!Dont listen to people about prices. Prices are fair. Pets cost money. Keep a savings account for them... They deserve it. 🤷‍♀️PSI have two Boston Terriers. Lovable lugs. ❤

I wish there were more stars to give, because they deserve it. Best vet weve ever been to. Friendly, helpful and caring, I cant sing their praises enough. Not only do they make you feel welcome, they make your pet feel safe and loved. Our cat, Milo, is afraid of everyone except us and the staff of Meadow Hills. We had our appointment today and hes letting them pack him around on their hip like its no big deal. I think my favorite part of the visit is that youre dealing with people who really CARE about animals and know how much your pet means to you. You guys are the best!

When we needed them most they failed. After almost 12 years of Kaiser being their patient it really didnt matter to them. In the time of crisis the whole team was unprepared and deaf to every one of my request to be with my dog and comfort him. Estimates were pushed to my face and signature was requested prior any service provided. In 12 years we have spend thousands and thousands of $ there and never failed to pay and still this was the most important issue that day. I feel they looked at him as a lost case and just pushed him out to be someone elses problem on Saturday morning 10.14.2017. I lost my Kaiser that day:(

Have switched to this vet because it’s the only one I trust around here to take good care of my pets. However, my pet’s recent assessment says Neoplasia, which was not something discussed with me at any point during my visit today. She came in for a UTI, so I feel if there’s concern for tumors out of an unrelated examination, then I should know about it.

After years of going to this vet - our 12 year old dog could not be seen for her possible broken leg and then when all the emergency vets in the area tell us we will have to wait 3-5 hours! Still will not see us and the secretary decides to take it upon herself to call the emergency vet and is told 1-2 hours which obviously was some sort of courtesy time for her! WOW! Not only do they not help their clients but then call their owners a liar! HORRIBLE! APPARENTLY ONLY IN IT FOR THE MONEY - obviously don’t care about animals! Don’t take your pets here if you actually need help! Disgusting!

When my dog was experiencing eye irritation, I brought him in and was pleased with the experience. They allowed me to accompany him to the exam room, showed me what they were looking for, made a diagnosis, showed me how to give him his eye drops and he recovered. While we were there, they said that he should get his teeth cleaned. This was the first time it had been suggested to me.When he went for his cleaning a few months later, they determined they needed to extract half of them. There had never been any discussion or recommendation for prevention at home even when the cleaning was recommended. They would not allow me to see what they were talking about when discussing extraction. This time I wasnt even allowed with him for the exam and blood work. I dont even know if the teeth needed to come out at all because they wouldnt show me if anything was wrong, they just expected me to take their word for it. This office doesnt seem to advocate preventive measures and would rather wait and reap in the $1000 service. We will not be returning.

I went to purchase some prescription cat food and Im already dealing with a sick animal, the front desk older woman was first of all unfriendly and uninviting, getting way too technical about everything regarding the prescription and etc. And it was such a stressful experience I had to go to meadows vca to purchase the rest of the cat food and they are so helpful and friendly over there. I think some people take their jobs too seriously to the point that they forget about customer experience and making them feel welcome, and smile for goodness sake. Its an animal hospital, the majority that go there are customers who are already in a stressful state, so being conscious of that would really go a long way.

Fortunately my experience was different than what some of you have described. I called tonight in the evening as my cat had an injury and his regular vet had closed. They accommodated me even though I was not a regular client. They worked my cat in among their other appointments. They approached him very gently and with compassion. They explained the plan of treatment to me and gave me an estimate ahead of time. When the treatment was complete the vet called me herself with results and said she would follow up again after more tests came back. When I picked him up, the vet tech again went over everything. In addition, she offered to help me plan out a diet for him which was unrelated to the reason he was brought in.

Was happy with the vet office for the first puppy exam and her second visit which was just for shots. They were a little expensive but seemed worth it.On the third visit, my dog was supposed to get a puppy exam, shots, and I was supposed to discuss when my dog could be spayed. I scheduled my appointment several days in advance as I had a day off and was able to take her to the vet.The receptionist did not schedule the exam but instead put the visit down as a vaccine waiver which means the animal can recieve shots without a vet exam. After 15 min of waiting in the reception area a vet tech comes out and says there appears to be a misunderstanding. And essentially explained what I already knew. That the puppy needed an exam not vaccine waiver. She then goes on to tell me that the vet had no openings today but did tomorrow (which I would be unable to do anyway because of work).I received no apology and it felt like the blame was placed on me, that I misunderstood and scheduled wrong. Suffice to say we will be going to a different vet in the future. I would prefer a vet office that employed competent people.

I love and trust VCA Meadow Hills South Animal Hospital. Our experiences have been many with VCA some with great outcomes, and some with devastating outcomes not VCAs fault. My husband and I have a 13 year old Labradoodle who in January of 2017 was diagnosed with Mast cell Cancer which VCA diagnosed. We opted to work with WSU Vet and VCA together as our dog underwent Chemotherapy. Today Dr. Lyle is in contact with WSU so our beautiful Sophie gets the best most comprehensive care. Then in March 2017 our 6 1/2 year old Labradoodle got very sick very quickly....Working with VCA we received the heart breaking news of the most aggressive type of lymphoma cancer....took him to WSU Vet as well. After many tests they confirmed what VCA stated and prepared us to loose him within 4 months. VCA was with us each step of the way. We now have 2 Labradoodle puppies and trust VCA with their wellness. My daughter and her husband also trust them to care for their Goldendoodle.VCA Hills Also has great hours for those of us with busy schedules and working long hours making it very easy to get in. When accidents/concerns happen when you belong to their CareClub you can call and speak to someone no matter what time it is and get help.Best care we have ever had for our animals!

We recently moved to the area and have a dog that requires daily medication. Though this veterinary office is close to our home I would not recommend this practice. Our dog has Addisons. I do not have confidence that the vet understands this condition. Our dog has taken daily meds for eight years and that has taken a toll on our pet. The comment from the vet was there are worse diseases. That is not a reassuring analysis. Also, the vet pushed Science Diet which is not a good dog food. Ill be looking for another vet.

I could not be more pleased with the care and support I have received over the past 6 years with my pugs.On 8/18/2018, my little female pug exhibited labored, shallow, rapid breathing and lethargic behavior. Just as they opened (8:00 am) I called VCA Meadow Hills South and asked to bring her in at first availability. The first opening was at 1:00 pm but they recommended I bring her in immediately so they could observe her in between appointments. Within two hours (by 10:00 am) blood results were in and a radiograph was complete. She was diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia in the left lung and elevated white blood cell count; they had already determined a path forward. This is consistent with the superb care my pugs have received since I first brought them in as puppies.I could not be more pleased!Thank you!

They honestly where very nice little pricey but the vet always is when you have two dogs. Worth the price just because they do check everything on the dog even when its just for shots and give you tips on how to keep your dog healthy.

I strongly caution taking a pet here. They also pushed science diet on us as well. The worst is that they diagnosed our dog with a back injury, (for abdominal pain) even though he had a high fever. They gave him muscle relaxers, pain reliever, and an anti-inflammatory which masked his fever. He died last night with Sepsis due to a misdiagnosed kidney infection. The infection should have been caught with a simple urine test. Our dog was otherwise healthy and shouldnt have died. I fully blame this place and their incompetent misdiagnosis.

Well, I originally rated this office 5 stars and gave glowing praise, but since then we have adopted two more dogs and visited other vet offices and Im changing my review. This vet office is one of the most expensive in the Tri-Cities. I wish I would have realized how much I was overpaying right away. $75 just for the office visit on top of all other charges is pretty steep. Some offices charge $0 (during walk-in hours), or $35-50.Ive had a few great experiences here and unfortunately a couple not great experiences and I think it just depends on which staff is on duty. Some of the staff is wonderful and Im thankful for them, but even one rude, dismissive staff member can be a big problem when your animal is in a crisis.Overall if price is no concern I would still generally recommend this office. If youre on a budget I would recommend calling around for prices before you go in.

They saved my little girl and gave me peace of mind going through IVDD the conservative way. The laser therapy also made a huge difference in her healing. The staff and Drs.explained everything along the way where 2 other Vet offices just said ( I told them we couldnt afford)since you cant afford the 3500$ surgery take her home, give her pain meds, then if/when things get worse we will have to have THE TALK.(put her down) no other help on how or what to do for her. Thank God we found them!!!

June 8th 2016 my little yorkie had jumped and injured her spine. When I called this clinic they refused to help me. I called a mobile emergency clinic and they were able to help. They came to my home and provided care for my 7 year old yorkie sadly because of the injury I lost her a few hours later. I would never take my animals to this clinic they are uncaring and shouldnt be in business. I am only writing this review now because I was unaware that I would be able to leave a review.

Wont ever be returning here. They had no compassion for my very sick dog. They referred us to the emergency vet for overnight care but never sent over the records needed once we got there. Was so upset over the lack of concern that I decided to change veterinarian clinics. I asked records to be forward to the new vet. They sent all records except for the notes and lab reports pertaining to her sickness. Vista vet bent over backwards to help us on the follow up care for our lab that is not only our pet but a member of our family.
