Nice bike shop. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Bikes were a little pricey for me. But the bikes are great, I personally just didnt want to spend that much money for what I was looking for.

We bought our son a bike yesterday and paid almost $500. He rode it in the street when he got home and it instantly got a flat tire. We took it back in to get repaired and they made us pay for the tube that clearly had a flaw.😡 you would think they would take care of recent customers but their excuse for charging us was, Well, we werent the ones that rode it and it had to have been your fault. Really?! Too bad you just lost our business along with all of our neighborhood .

I’m not a big reviewer, even when I’m dissatisfied. But my experience here has stuck with me long enough that I’m compelled to write a review.I went in looking for a part to my mountain bike. I’m definitely a more casual bike owner, but everyone starts somewhere, right? When I asked the front desk person if they had what I was looking for she asked the guys in the back shop area. When she named what I was after it was as if they scoffed at my part. It sure seemed to be dismissive, making me sense that they don’t really care about the casual consumer. Shame on them, because I can’t see how the avid cyclist didn’t once consider himself casual.I doubt I’ll ever go back. There are other shops in town and I’ll take my casual business there.

The guys did a great repair on my bicycle in good time and under what the estimate was. They will get my business again. Thanks

After going to Scott’s Cycle, I will not buy a bike or accessories anywhere else! You can’t put a price tag on great customer service and Brian and his team made my son the happiest kid in the world when he got his first bike there last summer. Brian let him try a couple out, helped us size him correctly and gave him a couple pointers to get him started. Now, I can’t keep him off his bike and we spend many weekends riding around the neighborhood and taking him to the race track. I don’t Know very much about bikes and took mine in for a look to fix a back break pads and barrel as well as my handle bars where shaking(they replaced bearing) and before any of this I asked how much it would be in total and the guy was telling me it would be “cheap” and was saying number $15 maybe $20 and then when I came back 5 days later they put whole new breaks and bearings on my bike and told me it was $117! It’s not cool that they gave me an estimate that was so low and then laughed when I was shocked after they told me the price especially when I only payed half that for the whole bike

Tuned up my grandkids bikes for really nice had them fixed in a couple days

I went into Scotts for the first time, based on recommendations from friends. My badly neglected old Cannondale hybrid needed a tuneup and some basic repairs. Not only did they did they do a great job on the mechanicals, but every inch of that bike was shiny clean when I picked it up. They even brought the tires up to the correct pressure. Its tough to find decent service these days, let alone above and beyond.

Scotts cycle is the only shop I will do business with, another shop that specializes the brand of bike I have and wanted to sell me an entire drive train do simply switch to a 1x drive in front, went to Scotts cycle amazing customer service and they had the aftermarket parts I needed to do the conversion and it worked great, I would highly recommend Scotts cycle & sports

Extremely helpful staff, very lighthearted and overall fun atmosphere while in the store. When I got there one of the employees came running up to from behind me to grab the door before I got to it. Then I told him what I was looking for and he knew exactly what I needed and went and got it. He answered all my questions and overall he was super helpful.

We were out for walk with the family a few miles from home. Didnt have our wallet. The stroller had a flat tire. This store was so nice and accommodating for us. They replaced the tire and allowed us to come back later to pay.In addition, my daughter had a scrape that they bandaged up.Great service. Nice people. Thank you!

Call to see what type of tires they would recommend and what would be the cost for a tandem road bike, 40 spoke rim made by Santana. The guy that answered the phone was totally lost. He had no ideal and just recommended to take a tire off and bring it in so they could match them up. This is a pretty straight forward well know bike and nothing out of the ordinary. For a specialty bike business they should have know.

Guys are nice and helpful. Phone is busy anytime they are open, tried to get a tune up and front derailer, they have had it 3 days and still not done. This is my only transportation and they have been told that. I have two jobs. Not impressed at all.

The customer service here is quite exceptional. They do so much for your bike(whether you bought it there or not) at no cost or next to nothing. You almost feel guilty like youre taking advantage of them haha. You can walk in there with your bike and they help you on the spot. They are quick, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and very good at their craft. If you have any cycling needs or questions definitely head in there. Youll be happy you did.

Aaron gave my bike a tune up. I asked for a rush job because I was from out of town and they were able to get it back to me that afternoon. He was helpful and the gears are now smooth as silk. Im picky about that. Thanks for the great job! Only reason they didnt get 5 stars is because I called to check on my bike and it was finished, theyd forgotten to call me. Ill go back when Im in town again.

Bike was in bad shape not shifting, expected to possibly need to buy new derailleurs, was thinking it was going to be expensive. The guy said no, your chain is just stretched, 15 bucks for new chain, I also had it tuned up. Less than 100 bill, bike seems to be working better than new. Very happy!

I was staying at a local trailer park when a punk kid threw a item into my sons bicycle wheel, breaking the front break. I was out of town and needed a quick fix. They slipped me in right away, fixed the brake, and I was on my way in only a few minutes. I was very impressed.

These guys are nothing but helpful, i used to be a bicycle tech at kennewick and richland in 90-94 which basicly means i know nothing about new bikes and all the new technology. Brian was very helpful in helping me to order the right disc brakes to fit my old 2005 or 6 diamond back and installed nes xt disc brakes and xo shifters and rear derailleur for me at a very reasonable price and it was right in there with what the estimate was well actually came in about $30 less than the high end of the estimate for labor and they did an excellent job

I purchased a bicycle fit and some accessories for my Giant TCR Advanced. My father purchased purchased a Giant Defy 2 and received a free bike fit.The bike fit service was great. Lots of time was taken to ensure everything fit properly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Its nice to know that the Tri-Cities has two choices when it comes to expert bicycle shops and Soctts is my choice.Pros: Awesome service and great productsCons: Selection on some items isnt the best, but that comes with supporting a small local shop.

I am a truck driver who stopped nearby to deliver. I walked over and asked about parts to fix a bike that I carry with me, they took the time to find and replace the parts for me for a small fee and did a wonderful job.......I think that they are very nice people and I highly recommend them.

Was my go to place for all cycling related gear, bike work, and questions until about a month ago. Took my bike in to get front and rear derailleur adjustments (and they did not do a good job after leaving my bike with them for two days, ended up with a very noisy drivetrain). When I got it back, I noticed they switched up the position of the cables under my handlebars. Didnt mention it as I thought it was part of the process they took to make the necessary adjustments. Turns out the cables ended up rubbing against each other and ended up all frayed. Went back in the next day to tell them they caused this damage and asked for them to put new cables in. They promptly denied they did anything and asked me for proof that it was not like that when I brought it in. Eventually, they simply left me to take my bike off the stand and walk out the door. Will not come back again.Highly recommend Markees Cycling Center off of Clearwater in Kennewick (fixed my drivetrain problems in 15 minutes) or Velo City Cycles in Richland.Also, I asked the mechanics at Scotts for advice on the rear derailleur mechanics and was immediately told to search it up on YouTube.In all the 30 plus bike shops Ive been to around the country Ive never had an experience this bad.PS Brian has always treated me very well, and will be the only reason I ever visit back there.

Had a less than desirable experience years ago when I brought my bike in to have it assembled as it was shipped in a box from across the country. Thought I would give them another try... My mistake. The whole experience can be summed up with my checkout. The female employee was more interested in shredding pieces of string cheese and cramming them down her throat than taking the product and completing the transaction. I required ZERO assistance in finding cycling socks. All I needed was to be rang up. Apparently, that was too much of an inconvenience for this employee. Didnt even get a thank you or have a nice day. Lesson learned.
