It has been 3-4 months since we started using Turf Pride. Results are amazing. Our lawn had been neglected and all types of weeds had taken over. When I bought my home almost three years ago, I freaked over the lawn, it was horrible! The previous owners never took care of it. Growing up with a dad who taught me to take care of my lawn, I knew I had to get help, due to GA clay as soil, and really zero grass in my entire lawn, just lots of blooming nasty weeds!I saw a TurfPride truck, called them, and let me tell you...what a blessing theyve been. Yes, its taken a long time to get my lawn beautiful, and hard work on my part too, but...I think the before (4/1/16) and after photos (8/5/18) Im posting are proof!You cant ever expect a weed free lawn, but TurfPride controls my weeds, and if I have any issue, Ive been able to call, and a technician comes back out, and will actually talk to me, and explain whats going on, what I need to do (yes, I have to work on the lawn too, not just a tech). My tech only sees my lawn 8 times a year, for the most 10 minutes each visit, I get it the other 23.8 hours a day, 365 days a year!I see a lot of negative comments, and I do not know if those folks gave their lawn enough of a turn around from bad to good, I can only comment on my experience. My technician also leaves behind after each treatment a flyer, that tells me how often to water my lawn, when I should mow, etc., and that flyer is very helpful! I am out in my lawn almost every evening, Ill pull a weed here or there that cannot be treated by TurfPride, or Im mowing, or trimming, or just sitting on my porch, liking all the green grass thats growing!Thank you TurfPride. My lawn is the BEST in my neighborhood, and I get compliments all the time. I know my dad is proud I paid attention to his tutorials, and also appreciate the guidance from TurfPride! (Now, if I could only get my neighbors to sign up, as their horrible weeds keep coming back into my maintained lawn!)

Have used Turf Pride now for 2 years and its been worth every penny. Defiantly worth the money!

For my third treatment, the tech sat in his truck in the driveway for 5 minutes, put the invoice on my door, and drove off without treating my lawn. I have multiple cameras on my property and reached out to the business. The sales manager came out to my house within an hour and confirmed the lawn was not treated, and I was informed the associate was terminated; however, I cannot recommend the business from my personal experience.

They are trying very hard to get rid of the very difficult weeds. They are stubborn but so is Turf Pride.

We had the worst weeds ever so I shopped around and went with Turfpride for weed management. Their prices are really reasonable and they even come out for free if you still have weeds 21 days after treatment. Our yard looks a million times better and the people are super friendly and easy to work with!

We used to use a different company, but they were a lot more expensive and we never saw any results. It’s a little early to see results with Turf Pride (we have only had a few applications), but they are very responsive and punctual and their customer service is phenomenal!! I’m anticipating great results!!

Quality Lawn Care. In fairness, I have had some minor issues. When identified, the issues were immediately rectified. Everyone in business has customer issues. The difference between an average company and a great company is how those issues are managed. TurfPride does an outstanding job of performing and managing their business. Highly recommended.

Love the weed control!

This was a waste of my hard earned money. I started service with them based on the reviews, however now almost 2 yrs later, Im sad I did...they skipped many of the treatments that they said were performed only to have my ring camera show differently...I had to call and advise them that I had tons of weeds front and back the phone rep apologized and offered to send new tech I agreed and still no change had to end service!

We have been using TurfPride since switching from another company and we think that they are great. I like the fact that the actual technician that will service your lawn calls you with your appointment details, that way you can talk to a live person instead of getting an automated message. All the technicians that have come to the house are very friendly.

Turf Pride does a great job keeping the weeds away and fertilizing my grass. I have the most beautiful and thick zoysia lawn ever! Jerry always lets me know he is coming and he is in and out of here in a flash.

Turf Pride has done an excellent job of treating my yard. They started two years ago and it has steadily gotten better in the two years. I have a very bad problem with moss but slowly it is disappearing.

Turf Pride is a small local company which is nice because their customer service is exceptional. I saw they had best customer service in Atlanta last year and decided to give it a try and I was not let down. Their entire staff is very knowledgeable. I knew it would take my yard a long time to turn around and get the weeds under control but Im glad I gave it a chance.

Turf Pride has been able to do that for me the almost 3 years I have had their service. I had Scotts for a year prior to going with Turf Pride, and there I was a number and the price wasnt worth the service I received. I pay the same amount at Turf Pride and I actually get what I pay for. Its nice to actually have a conversation with a tech who I know by name and knows my lawn like its his own. Im not sure how large they are as a company, but they have the small business feel with a professional attitude and expect nothing less from anyone I conduct business with.

Our neighbor’s yard went from sad and pitiful to lush and enviable before mid-summer about 2 years ago. We saw the TurfPride logo on the trucks that would stop by to work on it, so we called and made an appointment. The day of our first visit from TurfPride we met Ron at our front door with a smile and a handshake. His knowledge was impressive but not at all intimidating to a person possessing no lawn care skills beyond pushing a lawnmower around. Ron’s years of experience were front and center during his assessment of the services our yard required and surpassed only by his ability to tell us what our yard did not require. Realizing our knowledge and/or lack of, there was in fact a clear opportunity to take advantage of the situation. Ron however, saw an opportunity to start building trust with a new client. Suffice it to say, “Well done,” along with setting a standard that is clearly, a priority for everybody at TurfPride. That is rare to see nowadays. Our one and only regret… We should have called them sooner.

We used a well-known lawn service company and after a few years our grass developed a ‘mossy carpet.’ They offered to remove it but it was very expensive and I was confused why I would be charged if I was already paying them each month to keep my grass healthy. I connected with TurfPride and after one year of basic service the moss is gone and my grass is healthy once again. These guys get it and they don’t take you to the bank. Call them.

You need to tell your trucks to STOP for funeral processions. Its the law, and its downright disrespectful not to. Nothing makes you more important than anyone else, but yall just kept on going around the stopped cars (probably actual respectable people.) If I could have gotten the truck tag number or anything other than the company name off the side then I would have come straight to your office to report it. But i was a little busy honoring my friend. And its a good thing I was too, because you obviously dont care at all.

Turf Pride had worked on my house for a couple years before I sold it. They continued to do the same for the new owners, and came right out to my new place to get me started there. They cleaned my new lawn up, and it is even more beautiful than my last one. You guys are great!!

Everything started well with this company, however after about 2 months into the work when i saw the grass was at some spots and not on others, they failed to honor their guaranteed promise that my grass will grow allover. Sometimes its not about the money, but the service you provide. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I believe in supporting small companies that keep their customers in mind considering that everything is through referral and customer service.

We used Turf Pride for almost 2 years to complete our lawn services. Upon hiring them, they sent our an estimator which measures your land and gives you a quote based on sq.ft of my yard. We agreed to the service. One was to treat our grass from weeds but etc. the other service was to spray our flower beds from weeds growing in them. This was a $600 service which they guarantee for 6 months. The 1st year they came out and maintained our lawn spraying every few weeks. The result wasn’t good but I thought maybe it will take some time to get everything looking right. 2nd year comes around we ordered the same service. This time around they sent a guy named Pete to spray our beds from weeds and pre emergent to prevent any weeds growing. After he finished and a week went by I noticed he hadn’t killed everything. So I called the office to complain at which point they said he would come back out. He came back out sprayed and left. While no one was home, so we couldn’t see if he had actually done it or not. Another week went by and I noticed that nothing changes and only getting worse. I called their office again to complain and they said they would send him out again. I gave specific instructions to call me so that I am home to show what needs to be done. I never received a call or service after that. Turf pride sent me bills for incompleted work. We ignored them because they didn’t provide the service we We’re charged for. In conclusion they promise a service they couldn’t fulfill. Very disappointed with this company.

After a few months of no improvement in my lawn, I cancelled my service. The grass looked terrible and the weeds are running rampant. The best explanation of how bad things are was when my neighbor thought I had stopped using a lawn care service because the weeds and grass looked soooo bad. When I told them I just let TurfPride go, he said, from the looks of your lawn, I would have never known youve even used a service!I told him I agreed and thats why I am switching!

I cannot speak too much toward whether or not Turfpride fixed my yard....at the moment it is just full of dead everything but I think it is supposed to be at this point.I have had approx 5 treatments from this company - my main beef with them is their utter and complete lack of communication! I was told by Iris in the office that I should keep my cats inside when the lawn was being treated and that someone would call me the day before the first treatment. I came home to find a notice on my door that they had come without notification. So I called the office and was promised that they would make sure to call the next time. Did they? No. So I called again and got another promise. This time the technician called and I kept my cats inside. But did he actually show up? No. I called again and was promised yet again that they would make sure someone called before coming out. The next time, someone called and actually came when they said they would come. But guess what?? Two weeks later. Boom. I come home and there is a notice on my door that they have come again - without notification. Good bye and good riddance Turfpride......I would highly recommend you find another company.

Have always been a “do it yourself-er” when it comes to lawncare. But I noticed that my neighbor’s yard looked better than mine and he was a TurfPride customer. We have been TurfPride customers for over 6 years. My lawn looks great and I enjoy my Saturday’s doing other projects.

I feel sad writing this review, because I had been a loyal customer for a few years. But I ended up canceling my account recently and wanted others to know about my experience in case it saves someone else some heartache. Turfpride called to say they were scheduling an aeration and overseeding for my backyard, and I asked if we could aerate and seed the entire backyard, not just the small area that currently had grass. I wanted to start growing grass in my entire backyard, and the area that had grass didn’t really need aerating. The person said sure, no problem, she’d make a note in the file. I asked if it would be the same cost, because the area was significantly larger – and again, was told no problem. I was thrilled, because the price they were charging was not worth it for the small area that was already doing well.A tech called the day before reminding me that they were coming out (which I appreciate), and I repeated the above to him, and he said no problem, just rake the new area and he’d do it. I raked for hours over the weekend to prepare for this deadline.When I returned from work the day the aerating was done, I looked in the backyard, and only the small area with grass was done. I called a couple of days later to let them know, and the person on the phone said they’d resend out the tech the following week. It wasn’t done the following week and I called again. I was told a manager would call me back. The manager didn’t call.So I called again a week or two later and tried to cancel my account, explaining this frustrating experience. The person said she would put a hold on my account, and have a manager call me back. This time a manager called me back the next day asking why I was closing the account, and I explained. He said ok, no problem, they would cancel the account.I continued to get bills and finally called them back when the bill threatened a collection agency. I explained what had happened, I had expected the bill would be cancelled, or at least reduced since they didn’t perform the service promised on the area promised. I was told the area was significantly larger than what was quoted (yes, this is why I asked in advance TWICE if there would be a different price), and that the service was performed on the original area. I reminded him that I didn’t want that service performed if it was just for that area, and he said he wasn’t on those original calls so couldn’t say what was promised.So I will pay for this unnecessary service but I had to warn others. What the person who answers the phone tells you, even if confirmed by the tech, is not necessarily what you will get. And then it is you who will have to chase them to try to fix it. I recommend recording calls! For the prices they charge, I can get a company that will do additional services like mowing and basic landscaping. I’m just frustrated that I wasted hours raking up pine needles, and seven phone calls, to get this resolved unsatisfactorily. Good luck!

This year there is no poa annua weeds plus none of the other low growing weeds that cover the lawn yearly. Im not even a customer and i did not want my lawn touched. While out of town they put pesticide all over my yard with a sign keep pets away...... i have dogs and did not request the service.

This company is the worst. I had them for 18 months and always had weeds. Since I complained for a service I was paying for, I got the excuse that the company has to limit their driving and will no longer service my area. If they did the job right the first time, they wouldnt have to make duplicate trips. Horrible company!
