I had an emergency due to constant tooth pain. I gave them a call and they told me I could come to their clinic. When I headed there, they made me wait an hour and a half, fill out paperwork, before deciding to tell me that they had a Cox outage and will not be seeing me today. Not only did they waste my time and made me lose some work hours, but caused me the trouble on top of being in pain due to my tooth and sitting while nothing is being done for my problem. One of the members in the staff was also speaking to me in a disrespectful manner. I would not recommend exceptional care for anyone.

This is the best experience I ever had !!!! I was terrified of the dentist I have had really bad experience in the past with other offices. From day one that I spoke with Shelbi inquiring about extracting a wisdom tooth. She made me feel so comfortable like I have been known her for years. So I made an appointment to give them a try. When I went in for my appointment everybody greet me with a smile. I felt really comfortable with the young lady that did all my x-rays. She took her time and did an awesome job!!! Now the dentist was the bomb!! He answered all my questions and went through everything for my treatment. I must say I am excited to get all my work done. And let’s not talk about the prices I must say they are very reasonable and they will help you out giving you options. Thank you!!!! I highly recommend this office for any dental work that you may need.

I was so impress with Dr Bourg New office and the the dentist Dr Wen that waited on me had gentle hands and a very professional demeanor. When it was time for me to leave they had everything ready in terms of what I had to pay and what my insurance was covering. I cant wait to go back on the 15 of July.

Service was horrible today, not the usual. The assistant wasnt so friendly, basically rushed my appointment. Didnt floss between my teeth properly and afterwards walked me to the front no goodie bag or next appt. set. Took forever to bring one to the front and didnt ask if the appt was a good time or day. Just gave it to me. The Hygienist was ok, just let the water splash in my face while using the cavitron and laughed and said its a facial. WHEN APPLYING THE FLUORIDE IT ONLY TOOK 2 SECONDS, JUST A WASTE OF MY $25.. IVE HAD BETTER SERVICE. JUST NOT EXCEPTIONAL!!! IM SORRY I REFERRED PPL HERE!

1/6/21I needed to set up an emergency appointment for a chipped tooth. When I called, the staff was friendly and was able to see me immediately. I was extremely nervous but the dental assistant, Summer was very kind and instantly put me at ease. Thats no easy feat. The dentist, Dr. Nguyen was professional and thorough. I feel very comfortable going here and highly recommend.1/13/21Update: I came back for a deep cleaning and my hygienist, Joslyn was everything youd want in a hygienist. She was knowledgeable, personable and professional. She took her time to explain to me the procedure. I had some reservations about pain medication because I recently had a baby and am actively nursing her. She offered good advice and I didnt feel rushed. Im so glad to have found this place.

I saw their ad on NOLA Marketplace and was impressed; however, that wasn’t my experience in-person. Upon entry, the Receptionist was on the phone; however, she never looked up to acknowledge my presence, no warm welcoming smile or motion to give her a minute. I proceeded to sign-in and took a seat. My appointment was for 8:00 AM. I arrived early just in case I needed to complete additional paperwork. Another young lady called me to the desk and proceeded to give me a clipboard of documents I completed online and submitted electronically. I informed her I completed it ALL online. She responded she’ll see if she can pull it up, but the system crashes, and sometimes they’re not able to retrieve it. I asked if that has been reported BC it takes a while to complete it all, and it’s done to avoid having to do it all the day of. She said she would report it again. However, once again, no warm greeting or welcoming feeling. The young lady who called me to the back was very nice and helpful. The dentist was as well, and the manager. They were very understanding and helpful regarding the purpose of my visit, but I guess my expectations were high based on what I saw on TV. I don’t recall seeing anyone wash their hands or use hand sanitizer in my presence, nor did I see a hand washing station outside or in the exam room, but that may have been an oversight, I hope. I had my records forwarded, but no one took the time to read them. I was at the Kenner location, BC the Metairie location never answered the phone when I called for an appointment. Exceptional Dental wasn’t all that exceptional. It was good to see diversity among the staff working in the back.

Dr. Bourg and his assistant Kyreal were both exceptionally professional! Kyreal made me feel very comfortable before the procedure started. Dr. Bourg did a really great job with make my tooth look even better than it did before I got the filling. I highly recommend this dentist office! Thank you!

My semi-annual visit for check-up and cleaning went very little. Staff was very congenial and on schedule.

Just finished having my teeth cleaned and LOVE going to this place. I had a new (to me) hygienist this time and she was fantastic - both in getting my teeth squeaky clean and also in personality. Wendy is detail oriented, affable and such a delight to visit with. She even went on a rabbit hole search for a toothbrush I once received and loved but have had a hard time finding. I will now be requesting her for all my subsequent visits.All staff are friendly and pleasant and the fish tank in the waiting area is fun to see. The billing can be an issue - it is unclear what is covered and what is not pre and post visit, even though I specifically ask ahead each time - but I think that has more to do with my shady dental policy. All in all a good experience!

I love just about everything at this dentists’ office. The rooms are clean and it’s clear customer comfort and experience is a priority, the spa-like vibe you get right when you walk in the door always helps get my chi in the right place (considering this is a DENTISTS’ OFFICE) it’s very relaxing in a traditionally anxiety ridden space. However, my favorite aspect of Exceptional Dental—that is, my favorite aside from the nineties hits they play over the air—has to be Genesis!! She seems to be everywhere and does everything! Making sure I’m comfortable in my room during my appointments, behind the front desk taking calls and answering endless questions about the Smile Plan memberships CLEARLY and HONESTLY, to confirming customer appointments. I absolutely LOVE hearing her cheery voice over the phone checking in with me or reminding me about an upcoming appointment. Oh and one more thing: if she DOESN’T know the answer to a question you have she WILL find the answer. She is resourceful, industrious, and diligent. Well done Exceptional Dental for hiring such a remarkable staff member!!!

Beautiful facility, modern equipment and the hygienist, Amanda, that I had used on my first visit was so good that I asked that she be my regular hygienist. They agreed and I visited her on my next visits. She was painless and had a talented touch with attention to detail. Very professional.The performance of the office has been second rate. At one time I changed my appointment to another date. They called me and told me that I missed my original appointment. I assume that the person did not delete the original one.Another time they sent me an appointment reminder. I responded Yes. They called me later asking if I was going to make my appointment.The morning of the 10 AM appointment I get a reminder at 8AM. Overbearing and obnoxious.They sent a text the day before my appointment telling me that I would not be allowed in if I did not complete a questionnaire. They included a link to the questionnaire that did not work. Not on my cell or my desktop computer.I complained to the office manager when I arrived. She apologized and asked me to give her another chance. Then I remembered that I had been asked that on a previous complaint. I do not remember what that even was.She returned to her computer to make notes on my account page and returned to tell me that my requested hygienist no longer worked there.That was the last straw. The hygienist that I got was not the quality of the one I previously had. She was painful, hurried, a and I kept gagging on the water flow.I will now be looking for a new dental practice.

Today I went to get appointment for me and my daughter. OMG the ladies were so rude on the counter, First one of them she told me that my daughter can not get anything done because they do not accept HMO so i told her it is fine then about me she said I can tell you about your insurance because you have to have the appointment first and when you get the service then I will tell you about how much you have to pay and how much your insurance. I asked her nicely how do I know what to bring but she kelp refusing to tell me anything then other one told me the same thing and said sorry you have to get the appointment otherwise go. That is so rude and I will never go back for anything to tell. It really made my daughter cry. Bad Business.

I had the pleasure of using this location for both a tooth extraction and also a Deep Cleaning. Both procedures went suprisingly well thanks to the friendly staff. Although I was so nervous, Joslyn Dinh, my Hygenist made me feel so comfortable and relaxed for my Deep Cleaning which took 2 visits. Dr Foster also made me feel at ease for my tooth extraction which took no time at all. I would highly recommend this office for anyone having doubts about getting a Deep Cleaning or Extraction.

Today was the worst experience I have ever experienced at a dentist office! My original appointment was scheduled on Monday, but because my insurance information wasn’t verified, I had to pay out of pocket. I was upset on Monday, because I provided my insurance information the prior week and never received a call that there was an issue with my insurance being verified. Since there was an issue on Monday, I asked the front staff to give me another appointment, to allow them time to get my insurance verified. On Monday, I told them I have 2 insurances and gave them the information and said if there’s a problem to please call me and if I don’t answer to leave a voicemail. On Thursday, I got a call reminding me of my appointment on Friday. While on the phone I asked were you guys able to verify both insurances, I was told they were and that my copay is $0. Ok cool, on Friday I go to my appointment, and guess what, they never verified my second insurance. So yes at this point I’m upset because this only happened 2 times this year, but this happened more than one time last year. These people never verified my 2nd insurance and I provided them with the information this time and last year. I paid last year, and was never reimbursed and I said I would not do the same this year. They absolutely do not provide “exceptional” anything! I say bring your business elsewhere, to a place that actual listen! You have been warned!

This morning was my first visit to Exceptional Dental Kenner. After suffering excruciating dental pain over the weekend, I called Exceptional Dental at the recommendation of a neighbor. They were very professional on the phone, took my information and scheduled me an appt within 24 hrs. Upon arrival this morning, the front office staff were all professional, accommodating, helpful and delivered outstanding customer service. The Techs were all professional, friendly and comforting. Dr Landry and the dental assistant were outstanding, comforting, and friendly. They kept informed throughout both extractions and the procedures were basically painless. The charges are minimal and my out of pocket after insurance was discussed prior to my procedures so there was no surprise. THIS WAS AN OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE WITH A DENTAL OFFICE. THANK YOU EXCEPTIONAL DENTAL KENNER! EVERYONE IN YOUR OFFICE IS TRULY EXCEPTIONAL!!!!

For the third time in less than a year Exceptional Dental screwed up my appointment time. I had a 1pm appointment on Tuesday for which they called and confirmed on Monday. I arrived at 10 minutes til on Tuesday and after taking my temperature the staff member informed me that I was early and that my appointment was for 2pm. I disagreed and stated that it was for 1pm and they had call me to confirm that the day before. After a little flustering about behind the counter during which I heard one of the staff members say I looked at it wrong to what I can only guess was the staff manager, the manager called me up to inform me there was a mistake and no one could see me until 2pm. I walked out of there when and no one from their team has made any attempt to reach out to me to make ammends or to try and resolve this ongoing issue with their appointment setters.About 9 months ago I made an appointment on a Tuesday the week before I was starting a new job. They had asked me for a credit card to have on file before the appointment so I stopped by on Monday at which time the staff member informed me that my appointment was scheduled for Tuesday of the next week. I told her no that it was tomorrow. Why on earth would I schedule a procedure the second day on a new job. The reception staff there are completely incompetent and do not care how they inconvenience their patients.

The other day I came here for my first appointment, a consultation for my wisdom teeth. Everyone was super nice, and once I moved to the back things went very quickly. One of the clinic workers, Nicole, was especially caring and made me feel so comfortable! Dr. McInnis was also quick but friendly and I am actually looking forward to coming back for my extraction lol

I had a great experience from beginning to end. The front desk all greeted me as I walked in. Lillian went over all of the treatments so that I understood everything and was very helpful. Dr. Foster and Brittany made me feel comfortable with the treatment. They made me a new permanent retainer for my bottom teeth and a removable top retainer. I would definitely recommend coming here.

I have always had great experiences here. We have been seeing them for more than a year and they have always been extremely helpful and willing to work with us despite my sisters disabilities. We purchase their dental plan that allows you to cleanings a year and all the x-rays and exams are included. It was well worth it. They also did my bridge of my front teeth and no one can tell that theyre false teeth teeth. The new technician that saw my sister yesterday didnt even realize that they were a bridge until I told her. I would recommend this location to anyone. I actually have recommended it to my friends.

Every time I visit (which is every 3weeks for Invisilygn) I am so pleased with the staff. They are always happy and greet me with a big smile. I came to Exceptional Dental to inquire about dental implants. After talking with Dr. McInnis I decided to get implants in two phases. I just completed phase 1 and I could not be happier with the result. The entire staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. I felt as if I were being treated by family. I would recommend Exceptional Dental to anyone interested in dental implants. They really are like natural teeth.

Every time my husband or I go in to have work completed either we have paid and they try to get another payment even though it is paid for, they charged me for procedures that I did not get and will not credit my credit card, they have quoted me two different payments one day and the best is when they called me to schedule to have my crown put in because the crown was ready and I wasnt getting a crown on that tooth. They also have not returned my phone call to straighten everything out. Surprise.

Ive been going to this location for a couple years now. I loved the exceptional service from the front desk to the dentist staff. It started to change a year back unfortunately. I never feel the need to write reviews because I dont usually feel the need to put a dental facility on blast. The issues stem from the front office staff. They arent rude but they are definitely standoffish and also condescending with any billing or scheduling discrepancies. I called promptly to reschedule my appointment since I had a cold and laryngitis (your welcome) and had another appointment scheduled a week out. Through out that week I got over 6 calls, 2 text messages, 1 email about my appointment since apparently they put me on the black list for being a no call no-show twice within the past 2 years. If you all still do not trust me than keep me on your walk in list and dont harass me with irrelevant verifications from up the 3 different front desk staff, all ranging with different attitudes and demeanors over the phone. Not once was I told by any of them that my insurance had changed and that I would need to bring in a new insurance card. The female the day of my appointment scolded me saying that this is why they call us so much, and that even if I had a new insurance card that it would take over an hour just to process. Again, not one of them told me this over the phone. She also off handedly said while I was calling to get my insurance info, that I would need to pay completely out of pocket like I couldnt just reschedule. I guess all and all I would love to stay with this group, but Im greatly disturbed with the staff and how they treat me. Im young and mind my business. I dont ever cause any of them turmoil, so why am I treated so coldly as if Im having an argument with an older sibling? If I wanted to have unnecessary arguments, TRUST ME, I woulda just stayed home! Also trust and believe I wouldve been fired if I were as Standoffish at my job. I work in hospitality as the face of a hotel, but I guess working at a dental office doesnt require you to have hospitality.

I made appointment with Exceptional Dental in March because I was having problems with my front tooth that I cracked when I was younger. I came in thinking that they were going to able to put a new crown on it and everything would be fine. However, that wasnt the case and I was going to have to lose my front tooth. I was devastated,but I did a consult with Dr. McInnis and I decided that having a implant was the best option for restoring my front tooth. They make you feel very comfortable, Ive never liked going to the dentist. I was scared from the time I walked in. Arielle talked to me through the entire process, she never became frustrated with the 101 questions I asked. She has excellent bedside manners.The other lady who came in to go over pricing was very nice and she explained current pricing and future prices of other things I needed done. The doctor was super friendly, he made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely recommend this place. I have found a new Dentist.

Exceptional Dental in kenner is awesome. I was able to make an appointment for my mom without having to wait 2 months to be seen. They did a throughout exam as soon as we came in and the staff was amazing. Lili and the rest of the staff provided all the help needed for my mom to understand her procedure and gave her more than one solution to her problem. She is now going to have a beautiful smile thanks to Exceptional Dental
