I bought two boxes of instant gross because of the sign on the shelf that promised a $2 off 2 savings with the digital coupon. I couldnt find the coupon in the app, so I took a picture of the same tag and showed it to the cashier as I was checking out. She didnt know why it wasnt in the app and called the manager over. Manager said if its not in the app, theres nothing they can do. I asked if they could do a manual entry since they were advertising the discount. The manager begrudgingly lowered the item price as a price match and sent the cashier to pull the tag from the shelf. I stepped away to look at my receipt when the cashier returned with the tag and again commented how it was odd that I had purchased the right products during the listed sale dates and yet no coupon appeared. The manager commented, Whatever makes her happy. Seriously? Why do I have to ask you to honor your own advertising?

They finally remodeled and it looks great. They also have a better selection

Totally sold out of the works toilet bowl cleaner and shower cleaner. None of the locations have these products, Garrett, Auburn, avilla or kendallville

I love my neighborhood dollar General store...Very clean and stocked and the manager and his team are GREAT!!!

BOGO and discount prices were posted, as well as the flyers made available as customers entered the door. After an immense amount of Christmas shopping went to front to be checked out. It took a considerable amount of time because the cash register froze a few times. (3, I believe, before the final price was available.) Although we entered our phone number for the digital coupons and the additional 20% off, it was not shown on receipt. So, we told we had to return to checkout inside the store to remove products from register. Then I was given to understand that not only could they not remove my check payment from the system, but that none of those posted prices and advertised sales flyers were available until the next day. I didnt have my reading glasses on, so instead trusted the prices posted. I could not read the dates which were quite small in comparison with other information listed. The clerk called the store manager for instructions. We got products at the cost we believed we were going to pay first time around. But, as I said, items were removed from system, at which time the register chose to freeze yet again for 10 minutes or more. The items were entered again, with register freezing, and had to be bagged again. We entered phone number, waited thought the freezing again, then received over $25.00 in savings.At least it was an experience.

I love Dollar General the help are always so friendly & helpful, they go out of their way to help you find what you need!

Issues that digital coupon items out

Good place to pick up everyday items. The only thing I dont care for is they now close at 9 pm instead of 10pm.

Fairly clean store with a nice mix of merchandise. Watch prices and weight of the container. Most times you may get it cheaper at Wal-Mart.

This place has so much stuff. Affordable and friendly staff.

I shop dollar general a lot but do not look forward to having to squeeze through the isles because they have carts at the end of every isle that still needs unpacked or dont need unpacked for another week. Merchandise isnt maintained on a regular basis

I wasnt there long. Seemed ok but kinda crowded.

Store is dirty and very unorganized. Staff is not very helpful and act as if you ask for help or a question they treat you as you are a burdening them. This is not a one time review but consistent experience.
