The girl behind the counter was very helpful, understanding and patient. To make it better she found my package and gave me a way to potentially avoid the issue happening again. I am grateful
Helpful and courteous..which is more than I can say for most drivers...they need to slow down in residential areas! They are very dangerous drivers!!
Love going there. Easy in and out . the lady that works there is soo helpful and very nice . always happy . thank you .
My only complaint is that I wish they were open before 3pm. I have to take many packages here each week to ship out and I much prefer it over the UPS store in town. Nice to just drop off my prepaid packages and be on my way. The staff I have met have been helpful and accommodating.
Cant see much but for now the hours change from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. to 430p.m. to 6 p.m.Ive only been there to take packages for others. One suggestion is that the metal container for drop-off should be probably a tad bit bigger because other than that then I guess the only alternative is to go to the UPS Store in Longview where it is convenient to just walk in and handle your business....by the way.... some of them UPS drivers intentionally too bad on the road just to piss people off because its obvious.... Ive had it happen before and next time Ill just get the UPS truck number and Percy go in and address the concern. Im pretty sure management wouldnt appreciate such but these guys young&older....drive off thinking people arent going to say anything about their negligent, rude road mannerism but sooner or later itll catch up to them.
On the just past January 14, 2021, I received notice via Amazon UPS Package Tracking that my order, instead of being delivered to my home in Toutle, was rerouted to UPS Customer Service, 220 Talley Way, in Kelso; I needed to go there, from my home in Toutle (about a 40 minute ride) to claim my four packages. Immediate problem: Our car (belonging to my husband, Bruce, and I) had broke down hard. Engine blew. Second hard fact problem: The order of four packages was for Bruces birthday, which was the next day. See the UPS truck driver refused to travel 1/2 mile up our very rough, bumpy and holey driveway (that was not our responsibility to fix) so he just skips us always and brings packages back to the home front. Pick-up at UPS is an untimely 4-6pm week days only. Our neighbor, Stephanie, said we could borrow her car! Great! We arrived at UPS close to exactly at 4pm only to be told that the driver would not return until 5-6pm. The UPS Customer Service Specialist, Ill call her Brenda, suggested we go shopping or something and come back later or, perhaps, she suggested, we could come back the next morning about 8:30 when UPS would open for a short time. We decided to wait--explained to Brenda about the borrowed car. We went outside to the car and waited, and, low and behold, a bit before 5pm big and small UPS trucks began to roll in. We took our time checking back in--to be told that our truck was still in the Toutle/Castle Rock area with a bit less than 22 more stops to make! It would be close to 7pm before our truck rolled in! Did we still want to wait? We really have no other choice, we told her. Go get some coffee and something to eat, she suggested, but we were broke and told her so. Then she peeled a $10 bill out of her wallet, insisting that we take it to get something!!! She felt badly for us, she said. We gratefully accepted it and did, indeed, go to buy drinks and donuts--definitely tided the appetite over. Taking our extreme time in returning to UPS, which was staying open late just for us, we were rewarded with the packages! AND BRUCE HAD A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! P.S. Will update soon on Brendas real name. She was indeed an angel.
The hours are wonky, but if you know them, you can work around them. They also change a bit for the holidays. The staff were amazingly nice, especially for the busy holidays and all the Covid stuff going on. Was very impressed. We use them instead of the one in Longview. Better service. And less busy.
Opened on time I needed help carring the box and she took.it out for me. Was very quick and efficient.
One of your drivers completely ignored my very visible sign asking for packages to be dropped off in my garage. Instead, they left my very large and valuable package directly under my sign in the rain and in plain view of anyone passing by. If I could I would fire the driver on the spot
Dont care for the driver in my area. Besides that the office in Kelso the Lady at the counter she is FANTASTIC they could not have a better counter person. She is the best.
I have always had great service from the local UPS staff and at the customer service center. Thank you, UPS!
The lady that helped us was so polite and friendly. She came out to my vehicle and got the very heavy package out. She made the experience very pleasant.
I mean, the actual people I spoke to were delightful. But I purchased a service on UPS.com and couldnt get that service fulfilled here. Incredibly frustrating, and no reason for that to be the case.
Really depends on the driver, but our experiences havent been great with this UPS delivery. Some drivers will deliver to our porch just fine, other drivers will just fail to deliver packages claiming the driveway is bad. Some drivers will notify the customer center that they couldnt deliver our package, others will leave clearly marked boxes with live animals in the freezing cold. Maybe some drivers should be working in the warehouse. I certainly wouldnt feel I was earning my money if I was half-doing work like that.
I am disappointed by your delivery service. I ordered a package from amazon. It was suppose to be out for delivery and then it said the package was unable to be delivered. After being on hold with both amazon and usp. I found out the driver said there was security access to get to our location... which there is not. There is construction that he/she didn’t attempt to go around. It specifically says local access only. We are local, they could have made it through. Yet they chose to say there was security access so they didn’t have to deliver it to our door. Just so you know when you try again Monday it will be the same problem. That to me is poor costumer service.
Customer service was great! Thanks for letting me pickup my package instead of just returning it as undeliverable.. 🙃
This ups is honestly the worst I’ve ever dealt with. We have a long driveway, and close to our house has trees. FedEx will drive down to the tree line and carry any package even our dog food box to the door. Its not a far walk. 30 ft maybe? And ups will just say nope sorry your trees are to low. And that’s not even the worst part, because They can’t seem to understand they are literally the only ones who won’t deliver I have it set for any package to go to a ups access point. Well, the driver drives to the access point and still doesn’t deliver my package. I called and they told me it will be tomorrow because they tried to deliver to my house and can’t. UHM WHAT?! You didn’t try to deliver to my house. The package was clearly going to the access point which the driver WENT to and still didn’t deliver anything! I called the access point and he told me the ups driver sat in the parking lot and didn’t even come into the store. Do anything you can to use any other service for delivery.
Friendly helpful place. Joe and jessica are by far the most friendly and helpful people here.
Was nearly hit by multiple delivery vehicles while carrying in a package to ship near closing time
Im not saying i loved this place Im saying that they greated me with a smile, were polite, answered my questions and resolved my problem. Thank you very much looking forward to my next visit. O and they always handle my packages with care.
They are just awesome! Thank you Jessica!
UPS in this area is complete garbage. Moved here in October and I guess I was blessed previously by having a UPS location that actually functioned. If you’re getting packages delivered in this area, tack on an extra week to whatever the original ETA is and you will be less disappointed.
Great people. Great service. HOWEVER... only being open from 4:30 to 6pm is a joke and very inconvenient. I felt the rush to hit the window when it was open from 3-6. Now that its only open for 1 1/2 measly hours a day Im not always going to be able to get our packages sent off due to family obligations after work and now every time I go deliver packages for work it will be on my dime as Im a salaried employee who gets off at.....you guessed it.......4:30.
I am so frustrated with this company! They deliver package to my bed ridden client and arent careful. One day they delivered a box that contained laundry soap in it and threw it on the porch breaking the hug of laundry soap and making a huge mess. When we called to report it, they said they dont replace those things. Well they broke it!
5 years owning a small business and ups is my biggest fear and frustration. They have cost me 100s of hours and $1000s of dollars. Late deliveries lost packages split up orders lost my c.o.d check admitted to it and claimed no responsibility. Counter staff has to ask drivers how to work the pad over and over and over for years. And they have terrible hours that now change all the time I show up for 3pm and they open at 4pm now show up at 4pm and its 4:30pm now. Will call an item and the next day its on the truck again. And they dont care one bit if u get your package today tomorrow next week. Its just another oh well sorry..
I gave it 3 stars because its inconveniently located for someone who lives in Longview. However aside from location, I have no complaints about this place.
Long wait, I was the only customer, but they were too busy doing other things to help. Big dirty warehouse. Expensive to ship, I ended up going to USPS
Needs more space, regular counter, packages awaiting pick up need to be put in bins so the representative can find them quickly
Quick and handy the lady made sure my package got sent instead of me having to go back home to get some paperwork
Nice folks there .. good service
Worst delivery company in all of Cowlitz County! Ive lived in the same house for 8 years, and UPS has NEVER made a successful delivery to my home. Im either picking it up, or waiting until the next day, because they cant seem to knock on my front door. They just stick a missed delivery notice on my garage and run. On more than one occasion I have actually ran them down as theyre leaving my driveway. FedEx and USPS both have always delivered my packages. If I can help it is will avoid using UPS at all cost!
Was already beyond upset that I had missed the first attempt at delivery but by the 2nd and 3rd attempts I had signed their precious slip and taped it right back to the same spot they stuck it. The morons only dropped off 1 of 2 of my packages that were on the slip. Now they are sending it back and I must wait another freaking month at this rate along with tying up my funds to wait for it to get shipped back, refunded, recharged, and reshipped with the hopes that these guys dont handle the shipping process.
Nice employees.......quick service
Good service good value
Be careful to not visit when raining or you will be swimming through the puddles in the parking lot. Large muddly puddles of the usual kind.
Out of the way to get to, but they were quick and delivered my package promptly
Super slow delivery. They always seem to put a “you missed us” slip on my door instead of knocking. If I have control over the shipper i always choose USPS or Fedex, never an issue with them. I ALWAYS have problems with UPS.
After one attempt to deliver, im told i need to pick up my package at a customer care center in kelso. No address given and no Fs apparently either. Ups didnt leave a note or anything to alert me- i only happened to find out when i checked my amazon orders for an update on a different package and managed to stumble upon the delivered status of my eagerly anticipated cell phones replacement battery. Adding confusion to annoyance, the package arrived eight days ahead of the anticipated date (normally nothing to be salty about but when my package might be sent back because i waited too long to pick it up, then ya, it just complicates and compounds lackluster customer care).Equally as annoying: apparently they arent open until 3pm- like, what? Couldnt you guys at least pretend that you care about making customers lives easier? I mean, you named the place Customer Care after all....I havent set foot into this customer care center and Im already thoroughly irritated.
New Job 🤠🙏👍
Nice Staff not enough of them but they are friendly
I shipped my pants.
They get the line moving!
Nice people, great attitudes and awesome customer service! Theyll do anything to help you out!
