Kladdprodt pool did an awesome job on our design and installation. A huge shout out to Cameron, Travis and Clint for all the knowledge they shared along the way plus answering all of my questions. They always responded with any questions or concerns we threw at them. We will enjoy the pool for many years to come.

I recently contacted Klapprodt to inspect and recommend repair options associated with recent damage to my decking, coping and pool plaster. Klapprodt was very responsive and within a day sent over their service and renovations expert (Travis). Travis inspected the overall pool and damaged areas, and fully explained all of the options to repair the damage done to the pool, without overselling what needed to be done. He also highlighted things that I was doing well (as I maintain my pool myself) and provided some DIY recommendations to improve my pool maintenance. I was impressed with Travis knowledge, professionalism and interest in providing helpful insights without aggressive overselling tactics. I would certainly recommend Klapprodt based on my experience with Travis.

We did our research and asked around there are so many builders in the area but finally went with Klapprodt when we found consistent and honest feedback from folks we knew that built pools with them. Travis, Clint, and Cameron just saved my husbands life (partially) by coming over and solving some issues (self-inflicted to be clear), but they saved the day nonetheless. Noise issue, dirty, and our Aquanaut not working. Thank you for coming over, cleaning the filters, testing to make sure there were no other possible issues, and shocking the heck out of my pool so that we can be back in business and can enjoy our beautiful pool that was built with Klapprodt a little over a year ago. But it is one thing to build one and another to build one and still be reliable after the project is done. These guys, and this company, have been there without hesitation or question. We chose Klapprodt to build our pool after getting bids from several other companies. We worked with Aaron for the design, and he was very patient and accommodating with our requests and designed exactly what we were looking for within our budget. Cameron was the superintendent for the construction, and kept us informed and was always responsive and polite. Clint did start up and pool school, and just like the others was very professional and nice. We knew patience was key while building a pool in the middle of a pandemic, but the build process was smooth and we felt confident that we were getting quality work. The subcontractors Klapprodt uses are top notch and worth the wait. What really impressed me the most was the owners coming to check our pool after the snowpocalypse. They are obviously inundated with service calls and many broken pools, and the owners are out checking and helping where they can to get their customers serviced quicker. We are happy we chose Klapprodt!

Klapprodt built our pool March - June 2020. It was a great experience, I found all of the staff to be friendly and down to earth. Blake was our sales guy and I have to say, we may not have a pool if not but for the incredible 3D video he did which transformed our backyard into something we never could have seen on our own.Cameron was our initial PM and was awesome. Our neighbors were simultaneously building with Klapprodt so we ended up with Kevin who was equally as great. I appreciate that I could contact them directly and saw them most every day during build.After the crazy winter storms in February 2021, we were concerned our pool suffered damages like most every other pool owner without power in the state of Texas. I waited a few weeks to let things calm down and contacted Dustin directly. Dustin was onsite regularly with Kevin during build and responsible for starting our pool once everything was finished. Within 15 minutes he responded that the owner, Jeremy would be out to assess our damage that day! True to word, Jeremy was here within a few hours. We were very lucky that only a few O rings needed replacement.I appreciate both the experience and professionalism that Klapprodt offered, specifically during the storm aftermath. Once a project is complete, it is worrisome that you’re left on your own. Jeremy made sure that we were given attention and our minds put at ease. We were concerned that we could have thousands of dollars worth of damage on a pool less than one year old. Instead we were fixed up within a few hours and got our backyard, back.-Sara Carr

I had several friends recommend Klapprodt and a couple of their competitors. Aaron came out to my home on April 5th and promised a design in a couple of weeks. I sent an email on April 24th and then texted Aaron on April 27th. He apologized in an email on the same day and promised to have something to us by the end of the week. As of today, we still have not heard anything and have signed a contract with another pool contractor. Highly disappointed with the customer service and can only imagine how the building process would have gone.

They were overwhelmed by the storm, but had no interest in helping anyone who was not already a customer. Kind of understand, but they built the pool at the home I just moved into, so I expected a bit more effort from them.

Only pool installation now no more spas or hot tubs bummer

Was very rude and declined to send someone out for a quote because I mentioned I was looking into a swim spa as well. She advised they are accepting serious inquiries only and they are very busy. Well, thats great for them, Ill just take my money elsewhere.

I’ve been with Klapprodt for 15 years and been happy with them until now. Although I’ve spent roughly $50,000 with them over the years (monthly maintenance fees, pump replacements, pool re-plastering, filter cleans etc.), today changed my mind about our relationship. I was charged $155 labor to put in new housing for my pool light (which cost $348). That’s fine and fair(even though the job only took 15 minutes), but they also charged a $50 “trip fee,” which they refused to waive because “that’s always been our policy.” Other services I use, like my plumber or heating/air conditioner, always waive the trip charge if they wind up doing significant work for me — and I expected Klapprodt to do the same. I was wrong, but I found a new company which charges a lower monthly fee, includes filter and salt cell cleans in the monthly fee, and doesn’t charge a trip fee for service calls. So Klapprodt did me a favor today!

Klapprodt Pools does an amazing job. This is a company where their clients REALLY do come first. The attention to detail and completing the project with absolute excellence is bar none. Our Klapprodt pool in Southlake is about four years old. We had some drying / cracking tile on the top edge of our spa. Jeremy and his team (Kevin and Travis - thanks!) arranged to have the top edge re-contoured and tile replaced. The completed product is looking great.Really appreciate Klapprodts willingness to continue to help its existing customers.Weve also used Klapprodts weekly pool service since the beginning and we appreciate their expertise.

Klapprodt must be completely overwhelmed with Covid. Aaron came out on May 5th to look at our yard and it’s been 6 weeks now and we still don’t have a design or quote. He emailed a couple of times that he was out of town, or that he would have our design completed soon, and now he just doesn’t respond. I also called the office and left a message with no return call. I understand that they are busy and maybe the don’t care about lost business but I bet they will when/if this is all over. Their communication is just horrible.

The prettiest pool we have ever seen. They promised and they delivered. We had 6 different quotes from 5 different pool companies and they were the most honorable. They did not oversell us and they made our design even prettier in person than their digital design. Kevin was simply amazing and still is even months after pool completed they have gone above and beyond. Family owned businesses ate the way to go.

Having issues with our pool and Travis came out today. He was great! We are going to get our issues resolved and he was so helpful. Being new to Texas it is so nice to find good help especially being first time pool owners. Thank you!

We just finished building a pool with Klapprodt and are absolutely thrilled with the result. Our new backyard is beautiful and elegant and reflects the superb craftsmanship and exceptional quality that we were looking for. All personnel we interacted with at Klapprodt were extremely responsive and gracious. Greg, our design consultant, Travis, our construction manager, and Dustin, our start-up technician, were fabulous. All of them weathered our many questions and assuaged our anxieties about the construction process with complete professionalism and courtesy. I truly cannot say enough good things about them. My pool pump broke down on a Friday, I called Klapprodt pool warranty department, they quickly schedule to have my pump repaired for Monday morning, pump is running good now. Also I had a problem with my deck and Travis came to the site and arrived at a solution, we decided that the best option for the hairline crack was to sealed the deck, they schedule to have the deck power wash and sealed, the deck looks amazing I am really pleased at the way it all turned out, I like to thank Travis and his crew for their professionalism and the great customer care they showed me.

I’ve tried to visit the office multiple times and it’s still closed for covid (while everything else, even schools are open) & no one returns calls for a consultation. I wanted to support a locally owned, family business but they must not be interested.

They just do not respond. Poor customer service. They overcharge. They only want to work on homes in southlake and westlake. Finding pool companies to be as shady as a 1980s used car salesman. They bid a pool last year and now want 20k more than that bid. The same pool they built for a friend at 35k, now they want 80k 4 yrs later. Housing prices went up, not pools. Sketchy at best.

After 20 years in this house, we contracted with Klapprodt for a full pool overhaul - remove and replace decking, deep inject clay soil stabilizer, remove and reinstall coping, new edge tiles and new WetEdge interior. In addition - other contractors were re-building 80 of concrete retaining wall and covering it and adjacent patio areas with flagstone and we were installing low voltage landscape lighting and rerouting sprinkler systems.We started on 4 Feb with one of the wettest Spring seasons on record putting us almost immediately behind schedule but the Klapprodt Manager - Mr. Travis Titterington - did a great job adjusting our expectations and providing regular progress and plan updates. His calm and professional manner was a constant reassurance for us. We finally finished on June 15th - 4 and 1/2 months later!The Klapprodt Sub-Contractors were very competent, very technically skilled and cleaned up after their tasks. Some specific shout outs-- We were especially impressed by the WetEdge Crew and their owner - Javier - excellent work!- Pool start-up, stabilization and Pool school were competently handled by Clint - amazing breath of experience in the pool trade - easily ready for an increased role!- We appreciated Travis leadership and management of the many crews that visited our yard. His guidance and scheduling made it all flow like a well-oiled machine. That doesnt mean there werent problems - but the team worked HARD to correct or address issues that could have derailed lesser companies. Most importantly - Travis NEVER failed to return a text or phone call. Terrific customer focus - youall need to look at boosting his responsibilities too!We are heading into the heat of summer with a fully overhauled pool that will easily last us another 20 years - thanks Klapprodt - there is a good reason you are a regular Keller Hometown Favorite! After giving the benefit of the doubt following a prior lack of response we again tried to reach out to see if they could build our pool. They must have more business than they can handle as we’ve received no communication only received empty promises. Understandable if you’re busy, but to just not reply at all to at least make your customer know you’re running behind is just bad customer service. If this is how you treat customers before they spend a significant amount of $$ with you cannot imagine how you respond after you’ve got the $$. Obviously will find someone else to build our pool.

I so wish I would have used these guys to build my pool. They came out and made major repairs to my pool that was completely botched by another builder. Customer service was second to none. They even explored options for me to fix certain issues I was having and had not even thought about. They also did my pool service for a long time and were awesome. Ultimately switched because they got too expensive, but I cant complain about the service.

I have known and worked with Klapprodt Pools for over 15 years. You find the company and employees to be genuine, Loyal and Honest. They are compassionate to making their customers happy and making sure they have a best experience possible. I would strongly recommend them to any new pool buyer.

Klapprodt Pools is the most unprofessional pool company I have ever seen. They have caused damage to my yard. They will not return phone calls. They will not fix the damage. They will tell you lies, and they will not care. I am sure the only way I will solve my problems is through a lawyer. To which, I am sure they will not care if I sue them. Do not do business with Klapprodt Pools.

The manager and customer service representative (she is tremendously unprofessional), over the last year, have accused us of lying about a pool bulb, accused me of claiming they altered my pool light for it to malfunction, and have offered zero resolution other than to pay to have the entire fixture to be replaced (including the labor that we have now paid for 2 times). I allowed their customers to come to my home, many times, to view our pool to help their business. I do not feel they are honest regarding maintenance or options for maintenance/repairs. The sales staff was excellent, but dealing with them for repairs and questions has been nothing but problems. I caution any person to use their company.

If you are looking for a builder that is worry free, go with Klapprodt Pools. The process was flawless. The only hiccups were weather and the city which they had nothing to do with. They put an A+ effort into all that they do. If I have a question about my new pool (and lord knows I do) they are there to answer and solve the problem if there is one. Sales = A+, Build = A+, and my Pool Tech = A+

Klapprodt put in my pool and helped coordinate my outdoor living area with DFW creative homes. Both companies did a great job creating and completing our outdoor Oasis. JJ was able to take what we described to him, put in the computer and spit out a 3D rendering of exactly what we were looking to create. Bottom line, all the workers at Klapprodt Pools were professional and they were very good at keeping us informed all while staying on timeline. Looking forward to years of Summer backyard fun!! If you are looking for a trustworthy pool builder with a great reputations then look no more!!!!

We recently fired Klapprodt after getting tired of being ripped off for 3 years. Our weekly pool cleaner from Klapprodt reported a pump malfunction so Klapprodt sent our another technician just to diagnose and quote a repair, then charged $120 to look at it and give the estimate! The quote for the repair was $1600 and included $1100 for a pump that has terrible reviews and is available for $580 online. What a way to treat a long-time customer. Cleaning service was also $40 more a month than the new, very reputable company I went with. Enough is enough. Go with someone else.

Working with Klapprodts has been a true pleasure. They have always been very professional and honest. If you are ever considering buying a pool, I would highly recommend klapprodts. They have been around for over 25 years and have the experience and the knowledge.

After getting bids from 4 different pool companies we decided to go with Klapprodt for a few reasons: 1) reviews from other people 2) the professionalism/thoroughness of Aaron (design consultant) 3) local business. The pricing was all about the same when we compared close to exact specs.Everything has been wonderful! Aaron came to our house and went through various options, gave us great information, and quickly got back to us with a proposal. He listened to our needs/wants and was able to tweak the design as needed.The showroom has plenty of items to view from tile, coping, decking, wet edge, etc. And they dont rush you! I may have spent a couple of hours at the store going through all of our options!When construction was about to start we met with Javier (construction manager) and Aaron. They went over the process, payment schedule and all of the little details we needed to know. Javier and Aaron have been at our home every step of the way! I am amazed with their dedication to the project from start to finish. They have both been available via calls/texts and are quick to reply (even on nights/weekends).We have had ZERO unexpected bad surprises. We have had several GREAT surprises, such as the quick time to build the pool (we are on day 24 of building and they are putting water in it right now. The city took 8 weeks to approve the permit....I never imagined a pool build to go quicker than a permit approval!), the amazing customer service (Aaron & Javier), and the quality of work by all of the crews!Also Christy has been fabulous too!! After having several different companies come out, I chose Klapprodt and could not have been more happy with the overall results.First and foremost you will have questions and concerns, daily, and every one of my phone calls and emails was replied to promptly.Secondly you are going to want to have a schedule and stick to it, and that is what these folks do, sans minor upsets due to mother nature, each step happened just when they said it would.Lastly, you are going to want to feel as if they care about the end result, and Klapprodt does, they know that each pool they do is a reflection on them as a business, so they are just as invested in making sure things come out right.Klapprodt was not the least expensive option I had in front of me, but at the end of the day I felt 100% confident that they were the ones that would do the best work, and they delivered each step of the way.Call these folks, you will not be disappointed.

We love our pool, but had we known before what know now, we wouldnt have gone with Klapprodt Pools. Dealing with their personnel has two phases - before they get the money (great!) and after they get the money (terrible).The sales/designer was fantastic. His design was perfect. He even designed the landscaping, promised that it would be perfect and any drainage issues would be squared away, and lauded their service department. I found the payment schedule odd. The last payment was to be made when the plaster was done and the water went in the pool. He insisted and we were so enamored with the design that, against my better judgement, I agreed.We were patient with the weather delays. The project manager for our pool seemed fantastic! He was here frequently overseeing every aspect of the work done by the various subcontractors. Progress was slow, but when it was time to plaster, we handed over the final payment.And everything changed.The landscaping took much longer than we thought it would with excuse after excuse. We have severe drainage issues that leave the side of the yard where the overflow drain terminates flooded most of the day - even with the extreme heat. Little things like getting the caps for the umbrella pole ports on the deck took weeks. That fantastic project manager? Once he had the check, he only came back once. I was getting extremely upset about the drainage and he came with his boss. He seemed very angry and dismissed my concerns as the yard simply having a low point. Fortunately, his boss took more of an interest and scheduled a diver to inspect for leaks. Quite a few were found and repaired by the subcontractor. It reduced the drainage problem, but didnt fix it.A couple of weeks after their visit, I got a survey about my project. I answered it fully and frankly. The response I got from the sales manager was what youd expect. . . were taking care of your concerns, etc. As for the drainage, we cant do anything until the sod takes root (the sod had already been in for a month). I waited a month without any contact from Klapprodt. I sent the sales manager a note a few days ago and the project manager and a drainage specialist are coming tomorrow.I dont know what I expected from their pool school, but it was minimalistic. It lasted less than an hour. I came away more confused than anything. Fortunately, the local Leslies Pool store has been fantastic. We intended to have Klapprodt take care of the pool for the first year, but the pool school guy told me that we live too far away and that if they did it, there would be a hefty surcharge for travel In later communication with the sales manager, she wrote, Unfortunately, our service department is at capacity and we are not able to take on any new clients. This is not unique to you or your project and I apologize if it felt that way. They still havent completed my pool project, but Im new client and they dont have any capacity. Think about it. I just paid them a small fortune for a pool. . . but when it comes to service, theyre at capacity, so basically, take a hike.So. . . we love our pool, but I cannot recommend Klapprodt Pools under any circumstances. The part done by subcontractors - building the pool - was fantastic. But thats something you can get from most pool companies. The customer relationship . . . the security of feeling that youve got someone to rely on for help after the project is complete. . . we certainly didnt get that. I do see other reviews that praise them, but my feeling is that youre taking your chances. For my part, I still dont understand what happened to take the customer service from exceptional to horrible. If you decide to go with Klapprodt Pools, be prepared to feel screwed once you hand over the final payment.

This place gets a 1 star. The 1 star is for their sales department, its the only reason theyre getting any stars at all. The building process was a nightmare and weve had equipment issues several times in the short 2 years weve had a pool. Find someone else to use when going with a pool company.
