Stopped in for an oil change and a tire rotation. I was quoted a quick and accurate time it would take and the staff was very very nice and honest. The guy who changed my oil even fished an old headlight bulb that I had dropped out of my battery tray. Awesome place. Awesome service

I’ve been here before and had no issues at all, which is why I spared it from a 1 star rating on this visit. ASK WHICH TECH IS THERE. The C tech is clearly more worried about going home than being a car doctor. Ricky was great! Very helpful and, sadly, understood why I turned around within 2 minutes of driving to bring the car back. Wait for the lead tech to have any work done… trust me. Cannot overstate how great Ricky was though. Made me still want to use them despite the incompetent and hardly working C Tech.
Driver’s Edge was quick with the oil change. Did “safety checks” on other areas of the vehicle. Cleaned my battery cables and put lubricant on them so the corrosion wouldn’t happen again.
Great guys! I walked in for an oil change, tire rotation and inspection. They got right to work. Fast service. Their inspection machine is down tho but thats OK. I can go somewhere else for that. Ill definitely b back. Tysm.
I’m not from the area and was only here for a short weekend for work. I broke down Saturday morning on my way to work. My ball joint broke and my wheels were both turned inward. They were the only garage in the area that was open. Joe assured me that everything would be ok and that there should be no problems getting my car fixed while I was still here. I had AAA tow my car to their shop. The tow driver said they already had the car on the lift before he even pulled away, and within just a few hours, Joe called me back saying they were just finishing up and I could come by anytime to pick up my car. What I originally thought would be a nightmare of a huge cost and being stuck here for longer than planned, he had me back on the road in a same day turnaround. There were no hidden charges or unnecessary work that was done, and they didn’t try to sell me on any work that I didn’t actually need. 5 star review for the professionalism, rate/time of service, and honesty about what I actually needed.
Manager Joe Davis is great, very knowledgeable, honest, trustworthy, and personable .... if you dont believe me go pay him a visit and see for yourself - you will not be disappointed in him or the services they provide.
They held my car for all day long, and not even let me know when my car is ready to pick up, I called the office, service man told me he didn’t have tech to work on my car. I wished he should notify me ASAP so I can plan for my day, so I didn’t have to stay home to wait until the end of the day. Thanks this’ll be the last time for this auto care location.

Everything was as discussed, they did not have a jack strong enough to lift my C class motor home, I had to supply my own to complete the work. It was a 36 mile round trip. The tech left hand grease prints everywhere he touched the unit. I would highly recommend this shop, they performed above my expectations.

I have used DE for 15+ years in Flower Mound. I find this group to be less than welcoming. One of the men behind the counter had his mask down below his nose most of the time I was there. As a senor I believe in the importance in wearing a mask. The office is extremely small. The bill was higher than I expected due to synthetic oil. It would have been nice if he had explained why synthetic oil was better in an old car. Its helps build trust. I just dont have a favorable impression of this store.
In early January I took my car there to get an oil and transmission fluid change. I was relived when they call me two hours later and told me the transmission fluid was not needed and that my car was done. I completely trusted them and didnt bother to check under the hood. Less than 1000 miles later I checked the oil and notice two things, the oil looked really dark and the engine cover was missing. Since that is the only place Ive been to that could have removed the engine cover, I called to ask them about it, but they denied it. Two days ago I took my car to get it checked and I was told I needed an oil change because it was very old and burned and I also made an appointment to get my transmission serviced. Maybe this is the only time theyve ever done something like this, but still it was a really bad experience.

Went to this place to get a free AC check and ended up paying $76 and some change before leaving and my air is still not working and I was charged for a free service if you dont have very much money do not come here cuz they will charge you for services that are supposed to be free like the sign says. I had some repairs performed a few months ago. Recently I had another similar issue and they repaired it for free stating it was covered under the previous repair warranty. That’s exceptional customer service considering many others would find a way to charge you.
I dropped my Grand Caravan off after hours on Friday and Saturday at lunch they had figured out what was wrong with it. By Monday afternoon, they had sourced all the parts and given me a quote for the work. All in all thats professional service right there!

Best auto repair shop in Keller! Joe helped me with all my needs. I went in for an alignment and within next few days I ran over something on the highway and got a flat. When I told them the story, they took care of me again and made sure my car was good to go. All the staff members there were so friendly and personable. Cody was extremely knowledgeable, and they explained everything honestly and didn’t overcharge me. I appreciate you guys!
I took my pickup in to have a state inspection done.... the truck was in perfect condition with no warning lights on.... I drove 2 miles away and my ABS light came on.... took it back and they said that the ABS pump was bad and that they didn’t do anything to have caused it.... I took it to the Ford dealership and they said that the ABS module needed to be replaced. $1,000 to replace it.... Thanks Drivers Edge.... I know that they did something to make that happen.
My first experience using these guys and I would certainly recommend them. Super nice and genuinely friendly and personable. They jumped right on my company vehicle and kept me informed the whole way. Less than 24 hours to get my vehicle road worthy.
I went in to have rotors and brake pads looked at on a Cadillac ATS 2.0T. I was told all of the parts were high performance and I needed rotors and pads on all four wheels. I was quoted $1,500 for everything. I immediately contacted my old mechanic to check out the quote. He told me all the parts where standard and he could do them all for around $650. After dropping it off with my old mechanic he called to inform me that the front pads and rotors were fine and fixed the rear for $325. I would definitely get a second opinion and I will never advise anyone to use drivers edge in Keller Texas.
I have used the facility before and the experience was good, yet this experience was excellent and I never give 5 stars as I always find room for improvement. This experience was much different and Joe the manager has made top notch changes to make his facility reflect his leadership. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and trust his guidance. His integrity, respect, and trust are all above board. GREAT 👍🏾 JOB GUYS!
Joe helped me right away and was super nice and caring about making sure I left with a new and the right battery for my car! Everyone else was super friendly too. This was my first time going here but I don’t know why I don’t come here in the first place! Definitely will be using them every time now. 10/10 recommend.

Got my wheels balanced cause I was feeling vibrations. Wad told a wheel balance package was 19.95. After they finished they said the price was $80, 19.95 was the per tire price (this information was not shared before the work was done).After I left I still had the same vibration, went to a different shop and was told the vibration was cause by a damaged rim and it would need to be replaced.Not only did they lie about the price, but they would have seen the damaged rim. So instead of informing me that a damaged rim could have been my issue and asking if I still wanted to go ahead with the wheel balance, they just did the work and never mentioned anything to me.Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.Edit: never tried to contact me like they said in their reply
Great service and super honest
I went in to ask how much it would be for them to replace my rear differential on my truck. I already knew what the problem was and I had already taken it apart the previous day and taken photos. They insisted they take off the rear differential cover and inspect it. They came back telling me everything I had already seen the previous day, but then went on to tell me it would be 220 dollars for a “diagnostics” fee after I told them exactly what the problem was and all I wanted was a quote on repair for the differential. Not only that, but as I was waiting they told another lady it would cost her 1300 dollars PER DOOR on her Chrysler mini van to fix. The only problem with her van was a sensor error that caused the door to not close entirely. This place is a scam and I do not recommend anyone to come for any serious or even minor repairs or maintenance. You will be scammed and forced to pay hundreds for a problem you could get fixed anywhere else for much cheaper.
These guys are great I thought I had an alignment issue on my truck . They put it on the rack and checked alignment my alignment was perfect. they charge me nothing very honest company could have charged me $80. I highly recommend them

Although I have not serviced my vehicles there, I have been witness to how they take care of other customers, their estimates, and professionalism. This is the type of shop you look for as a local mechanic.

When my car wouldnt start, I had it towed to the closest garage which was Drivers Edge on June 1, 2020. I kept checking with them on the repairs but they had not found the problem. I finally went to their place. They told me it was a computer module and they hadnt found one yet. I provided them with a Service Manual that covered diagnosing and repairing the fuel system components. When I checked with them the following week they said that they were sending the module to Jacksonville, FL to be rebuilt. The following week I stopped by only to find the module sittings on my car engine. On Friday July 10th (nearly six weeks after the breakdown) I got a voice mail that the car was ready. When they gave me the invoice it was over $2500, more than l paid for the car! They marked the tow bill up $50 and parts were marked up 423%. The invoice also indicated that they had contacted me for authorization of $985 in charges. I never received that call and have written to the manager for reimbursement. I feel that I was gouged and taken advantage of because I am a Senior Citizen.I hope you post this so others dont fall into the same trap.
My fiancé and I have been going to this Drivers Edge location in Keller, TX since we moved to the state. They are indisputably as kind and empathetic as they are professional and skilled. They always go above and beyond, from the smallest of routine inspections to major repairs. We wont ever go anywhere else for our auto care and repair needs.
The service was performed by very knowledgeable mechanics who got the work done quickly. The service manager is very thorough in his explanations of the services recommended and performed.
This drivers edge was more friendly personable and accommodating than the other drivers edge locations I’ve been to. Rico in particular was very helpful and kind. I will return again.

I was told by Firestone that I needed a new tire. They had only 2 options that were very expensive. I did some research for other car shops in the area & found Drivers Edge had many more options at much better prices. I took the car in, they checked all my tires at no cost & let me know that the tires all checked out with half-life still remaining. Im so glad I got the second opinion; it saved me so much money. All the guys were respectful & professional. I will definitely be bringing my car back.
I called to get an estimate to repair the steering rack on my F150. I was quoted $4000. $3000 for parts and $1000 for labor. The part is $1200 at Oreillys. I called 2 other shops and was told the total price would be $1720 at one place and $2000.00 at the other. Drivers Edge was going to try and find a lower price and part and call back. They never called back. They will rob you blind.

Just had an issue last night with my truck not being able to idle or drive. Turns out the O2 censor was off. The truck ran great offer that. Both Alex and Daniel had been very helpful and their mechanics for getting the issue resolved. I would recommend the shop to any of my friends.
Not very honest. They requested that I pay in advance for a part which I did. When my wife went to pick up the car, they said that it had not been paid so she paid again. When I went to see them they said that it was an error on their part but the refund must come from corporate. After one month I called back and they said that they would restart the process. I tried for again after one month, and again after another month. I waited 8 months just in case the refund would show up. I guess I will not get the > $300 refund. Stay away like I am doing now.

Went to Drivers Edge for the first time. Was pleasantly suprised at the proffesionalism displayed by the front desk associate. I needed a front wheel alignment done, but had very little time to spare. They took my truck right in and completed the job in a very reasonable time. The pricing was comparable to other auto repair shops but given that time was of the essence the job was done quickly and efficient . I would bring my vehicle in for other repairs in the future.
I took my diesel truck in for a state inspection and the service was fast and only cost $7. The staff is friendly, especially Joe. I had great conversation while I waited. Highly recommend

The guys here are awesome. They go out of their way to fix my problems and to make me comfortable while I wait. The last time I was there, they set up a little table for me so I could work on my laptop. Every single time Ive been there (3 times now I think) a happy customer has brought them popcorn, pizza or cookies for something they did but didnt ask to be compensated for. They make you feel like family. I cant say enough good things.
Was in town visiting my daughter to check on a problem she was having with her car overheating. There was a leak somewhere and no way I was going to be able to repair it in an apartment parking lot. Took to drivers edge and they were able to identify the problem within an hour(cracked radiator needed to be replaced). They worked with me some on the price and were able to knock it out that day. Was great knowing this would be taken care of while I was still there. Really appreciate the fast service and reasonable price, Thanks!
I was customer for this center for last two years, this time worst experience.When I asked conventional oil change for my car, they billed for synthetic oil change price. When I asked again, they said that they changed conventional only, changed the price to conventional. still I don’t believe those guys changed oil properly. The worst part is came back to car and checked the oil meter it’s showing 50% only. Made an appointment online for an oil change. Was greeted promptly and has my vehicle taken in for service quickly. The employees noticed I had a 5 qt container of oil in my front floorboard and mentioned that I could save money if they used that instead. (I bought the oil last week when I planned on just changing the oil at home- I changed my mind because its August in Texas) I got out of there with quick service, spending less than I anticipated and neither my husband or I had to spend one of our days off laying on the floor of a garage. Thankful these guys were paying attention and helped me to save some money!
I think they are all about the $$$ vs. doing the easy fix. I have had two issues with this place. The latest was them going to rewire my brake lights. I felt it not to be the issue so had them not do the $405 repair and opted for another local guy I trust. Glad I did. The trusted mechanic barged me 1/2 and didnt need to rewire but instead just replace a part. Watch out for these guys or at least get a second opinion. Im not saying my brake-light maybe didnt need to be done but a quick state inspection would have turned into an additional $405 plus $80++ for the addition diagnostic. Just be careful of the add-ons you might be charged.Follow up: They called and asked about my review and if they could win back my business. I appreciate that. I will clarify, they did not charge me the $80++ diagnostic.

I came in to get an oil change done. The service writer here was great. He didnt oversell me, let me know my car was in great shape but if there were certain services I hadnt done yet, I should get them done soon. They were quick and friendly and I loved the small mom and pop repair shop feel.

My husband and I have been going to drivers edge in Keller for a year and a half. Yesterday we dropped off my car for transmission maintenance, oil change, tire balance and rotation. Our bill was $400, when we arrived we asked for the itemized bill. We were charged $35.70/ quart of transmission fluid. I understand that my transmission takes more expensive fluid. The store manager Tom, said that they get the fluid at $22/quart. I was told we received genuine Nissan products. I called a local Nissan dealer and the charge $20/quart for the same stuff. I called to talk to him about the price difference he quickly told me how I didnt know what I was talking about and that he was not going to argue with me over the price, that he was a business professional and hung up the phone on me when I told him I was done with this conversation. I can not believe how I have been treated by these people the last two days. I have no problem paying for services provided by mechanics, I do have a problem being ripped off. We did enjoy using Drivers Edge in the past but we will be taking our business else where.
Keep It in Keller. Very efficient. Have coupons. Price check has been similar to dealership prices but I dont have to drive 30 min to dealership. Theyve also been known to give me ride home when leaving my car. Not certain if this is service or I got lucky!
$272 for a change of transmission fluid? When asked why, they bring up needing markups to run their business at a profit. I called a local dealership to see what they would charge for the same service on the same car and they said $100. 172% higher than a competitor isnt a markup, its a rip-off. Also, to TOM the manager who was rude to my wife on the phone when she called to talk about it, if all you can say is that we dont know what were talking about, it just confirms our suspicion that were being ripped off. I thought the local guys should give a better deal, or at least as good, than the dealerships and offer a first name basis level of service but not this bunch.

Have gone here multiple times. Friendly and fast. However, if you are in a pinch for cash, I suggest you price check their repairs at other garages. Have twice been quoted lower by other shops. Also, once had a repair estimated at $2200, that when I took it to another shop, instead of being an entire piece of the system, it was some cleaning and $500 worth of parts and labor to fix. Have never been unhappy with their work, just the price.

The service at Drivers Edge in Keller is hands down fantastic customer service from the front of the house to the back. Andy and Pete are more than welcoming and make you feel at home with candid conversations and make you feel like a person and not a number. The techs at Drivers Edge Keller were all polite and helpful and let you know exactly what the issue is without sugar coating the problem. They also most importantly do not try to sell you anything you do not need. They are more expensive, but the warranty they have is outstanding as well as the quality of work. Keep it up guys and great job!

If you want your car back in worst shape than when you took it in for repairs, then go to Drivers Edge. This place is a scam and a half!Long story short - I had my steering rack replaced. After getting a call that the car was ready the steering was very loose. I took it back to the shop and they claim they test drove the car and everything was fine, but would replace the new part. The first install took a day and a half, the second time to fix it took about 2 hours.I went back to the shop and drove with the mechanic and everything seemed fine. Turns out the alignment they charged me for never happened. My steering wheel is never centered. The other problem is there are new scratches on the side of my car and on the trunk. Last complaint is the mechanic left grease all over the wheel, visor, door handle and shifter. No attempt to clean up after themselves at all.Hire this place for your repairs at your own risk!!

My 17 year old took his 2001 Honda Accord for an oil change. He was told it was $20 and called my husband to confirm that was a fair price. 30 minutes later he was charged $70 for a $34.95 synthetic oil change due to hidden fees. Charges on top of charges. $23 Labor on top of the charges for the oil change and the oil?!!!! Is the $34.95 just the cover charge? I called this morning for a price check and was told it was $34.95. Only got info on additional charges after advising them we would be returning for a refund on the overage. Why not just give total up front? Disappointed in your deceptive tactic of quoting one price on the phone and then taking advantage of a captive audience when the vehicle is brought in. We have done business at the Keller location for over 7 years. At some point management changed and it hasnt been the same since. We will NEVER use them again and will definitely NOT recommend them. This was the final straw after many other instances of getting estimates for work that other shops including ones at the dealership said was unnecessary. AAAANNND the dealership was lower cost with all their amenities!!!! I am posting my review here because my verbal complaint was addressed by the guy who answered the phone as if to say oh well... and I seriously doubt that my previous written complaint on their own survey will be addressed any differently.
This place might not be the greatest car place ever but they sure did provide effort and great breakfast cereal! Here at Drivers Edge the staff is highly knowledgeable in their feild of work, and they make it a priority to give the customer the most affordable labor work possible. The two gentlemen who served me, Shaun and Gary, treated me like family even though it was my first time here. I am now a customer at drivers edge for life.

Ive been doing to Drivers Edge since before it became Drivers Edge. Andy is always helpful and cheerful. He is very good at recommending must have vs keep an eye on to save me from having to have all work done at once, and there have been 2-3 occasions that were quick, easy fixes in which he didnt charge me at all. All of the staff are polite and informative. Will continue to go to them for my mechanical needs.
