I called in to get service, Kate was very nice, scheduled me in. Approximately 1 hour later I was called back to say Hunter was on the way and would be 20 minutes or so, he arrived right about that amount of time,which I find amazing, so Kudos to them. Hunter, (A very nice young man) assessed the situation, gave me the price and I told him to proceed. As I live in an older Mobile home, the drain pipes are smaller than what is required by todays codes, this made the job more difficult. Hunter worked hard to get everything flowing again. I would definitely call them again if needed, I would even request Hunter for the Job !

The team of two that came and repaired the broken water main to our house that was buried in the front flower bed, did and outstanding job, even in the 100 degree weather we were having.When they first arrived they quickly located where the break had occurred and provided an acceptable price for repairing the water line. This was a pricey bit of repair work, but necessary given the circumstances. The team which performed these services (Brett, Jeremy, + one other) was extremely professional, competent, courteous and friendly. They explained everything thoroughly. I have used Mr. Rooter of Salem before and will not hesitate to seek their help again when needed. We seem to be in a period of time where many service companies of all types do not seem to be too eager to have our business, but this is definitely not the case with this service provider. I experienced a flood and had a lot of water under my home. Brett Brammer and Hunter installed a sump pump system under my home. We had an unfortunate accident with our toilet this morning (a metal object fell in, obstructing the line) and made the mistake of calling Mr. Rooter. I was at work and my wife handled the business end, they told her they charge $70 for an estimate and that money will go towards any repairs they do.... well the plumber removed the toilet and used an auger to get the obstruction out (telling my wife he was trying to break it... break up the metal object...) no surprise that the toilet breaks and they say they can install a new one for $800. We opt out and still get footed with a bill for $211.... so I go buy a toilet and install it in 15 minutes for $150. So I payed them over $200 to break my toilet and waste my time... just watch a YouTube video, itll save you a lot of money and youll get better service.

Service was great. My reasons for going with Mr. Rooter was they were willing to wave the price of the estimate. Of all the places I contacted, you paid for the estimate and if you went with them to do the work, only then would they credit you the cost of the estimate. I DO NOT pay for estimates. Second was the one price no matter what, everything covered.I recently had another reason for using Mr. Rooter. The service line from the meter to my house had broken, and started to leak into my day basement and left me without water service. They came out within an hour of my call, explained my options and exactly 24 hours later, I had a new service, water, and peace of mind. Twice this summer I needed plumbing help, and they took care of me. I will call nobody else.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Save yourself the trouble and cost. They came out in November, 9 months ago, and did a power clean of my kitchen drain to the tune of $950. At this time they broke the sink. In July of this year, the leak was discovered. It had been slowly leaking down the wall to the subflooring. This leak caused so much damage, the carpet in the living room, the cupboards under the sink, the hardwood floor in the kitchen and the subflooring under the counter in the kitchen have all had to be removed and replaced. Mr. Rooter admitted breaking the sink almost 3 weeks ago and offered to replace the sink. They have yet to show up and do so. They are rude and inconsiderate. When I call their receptionist tells me they will get to it when they can but they wont be hurrying to do this being this is a non paying appointment. They will not replace the entire damage, nor are they replacing the faucets and hardware for the sink that they broke. The damage they have caused has left my home destroyed. The repairs will be well over $7000. In the meantime, I have not had a working sink in the kitchen for almost 3 weeks.Seriously, consumers, there are so many other ways to fix your needs then this company. They have no integrity, they have no professionalism. They overcharge and underperform. Spend your money with other plumbers. You wont regret passing on Mr. Rooter.

I called about 11:00 AM for a clogged drain. Jeff from Mr. Rooter was here within a few hours. He took care of the problem at a very reasonable price. I will definitely call this business if I have a plumbing issue in the future.

Old Water heater needed replacing and leaking all over my garage. Mr. Rooter, the only plumbing business, in my area to answer and walk me thru how to shut off gas, water and temperature. The local plumbers in my area all refused to help me because it was after hours. Mr. Rooter dispatched a team the next morning and had my new water heater in place within 20 minutes. I am more than pleased. They are professional and safe.

They came out right away on a Sunday, which was nice, and they “fixed” the issue (error code on tankless hot water heater) for a solid 12 hours before it was not working again. I was told by the man who came out that I would need a new hot water heater (to the tune of $5200) to replace my one that was only 8 years old. They told me that it would cost more to replace all of the parts, which they would have to do because they wouldn’t be able to tell which one was broken, and it would be better to just buy a new one, as they only last 10 years. I looked this up and the water heater I have is supposed to last 20 years. Another company came out and cleaned the igniter, put it back together, and it works just fine. They seemed pretty shocked that someone would try to tell me I needed to buy a whole new hot water heater for such a small fix on a hot water heater that is only halfway though its expected life span. Not impressed. Super glad I got a second opinion and didn’t get swindled.

Professional from start to finish. Call Sunday to make an appointment for Monday, our technician Joseph called before he arrived with an eta. He was out going, knowledgeable, explaining each step, gave me the price before starting which I thought was reasonable. Took care of the issue, told what the cause of the problem was explained the 30 day limited warranty. Overall under the circumstances a very positive experience.

They did not finish the job, was charged for a service to unclog the drain and service the pipe with a cleaner, paid full price of option 3 plus additional labor, not a very satisfying experience

I was away on business and my wife called to make an appointment to fix the garbage disposal. No price was given over the phone until the technician showed up. When she was uncomfortable with the price the technician pressured her into doing the work anyway. It was several hundred dollars for less than 30 minutes of work. I will never use this service again and would discourage others as well.

Was not impressed with the quality of there work they do very ugly work would defiantly never use again. We were getting our house re-pipped and the 1st two days the plumber screwed around a lot so on the final day of the job they had to rush which made for ugly work.update they came back and tried to change more to finish their work

Had two culvert pipes that run underneath our road that were almost 100% blocked with dirt and small rocks. Technician was able to clear out both culvert pipes in an efficient manner. Great guy, great work. Highly recommend.

Our pipes were backing up. We couldnt use any of the drains or toilets. We called Mr Rooter around 7:30am. They didnt have a time slot but would fit us in sometime in the day. Brett and his apprentice showed up just 2 hours later and cleared the pipes. They were friendly and professional. We felt very comfortable with them at our home and they remained in their masks the entire time. They educated us on our problem and future repairs that are needed but they never made us feel bad or stupid that this happened in the first place. We greatly appreciate them. Theyre the best!

Excellent experience with Cameron and the guys. Cameron, Jaremy and Joseph were excellent. They were on-time, on-budget and great with follow-up. A week ago we called on Mr. Rooter due to our gas water heater had quit working. Within the same day service men were at our door and into our attic pinpointing our problem. Sean Bryan and Matt Cooper sized up the project and began making phone calls to find out where to get a similar product. Fortunately they found a 40 gal unit but the dimensions had changed. They began to see a way around this and were ready to begin first thing the next morning. From the get go these men worked as a team. Their professional manner gave us great confidence that we had picked the right company for the job. They were respectful and careful in removing the old unit and in bringing in the new. They worked quickly and made a difficult job look easy. We were also impressed with how personable they were and how helpful they were at explaining the warranty and operating instructions. Finally, we were pleased that the price that was quoted to us was the price we paid. Mr. Rooters flat rate policy is hands above the competition. If the need arises in the future I would not hesitate to call on them again.

Broke a pipe doing my own water heater install on a Sunday. They were at my house 40 minutes after I called them and had everything up and running within the hour.

My recent experience with Mr. Rooter far exceeded any of my expectations. I always try to hire the small business/local guy for all of my household needs but no one was available to help and I needed help immediately. I called Mr. Rooter as a last ditch effort (from now on they will be the first place I call, always.) I was able to secure a same-day appointment when 6 other companies were at least a 10 day wait. The person who took my call was extremely helpful, professional, kind, and answered all of my questions- and I had a lot of questions.My technician showed up on time and got strait to work. Hes was extremely friendly, courteous and obviously an expert. He took time to explain to me the entire procedure he had to perform and told me what it would cost upfront. He was very thorough and patient with me as I had many questions for him as well. Once work began I was very impressed with the tools and technology Mr. Rooter uses to get the job done quickly and efficiently. After a very short amount of time my technician found the cause of my problem, fixed what could be fixed at the moment, and led me in the right direction to get my plumbing repaired by the people responsible for damaging it. We had a issue with pipes going to septic for about a week, I tried everything I could I couldnt fix it though. I called mr. rooter they had very helpful people that answer their phones. The reason I say this is because they where very patient. I was having to relay messages to my work, then call back all kinds of bs on my part but they where curious and nice whole time. The plumber came out and put a camera down the pipe and let us know exactly what the problem was. I really liked George, who came out from the company to fix my drain. He was friendly, helpful and happy to answer all my questions. He did the work quickly and made sure to clean up after. The only thing I was at all unhappy about was they cant give a window of when your service rep will get there and it means youre stuck at home pretty much the entire day if they dont get to your job until the afternoon. Awesome service! I called yesterday after getting a notice from the city that I had a leak, they came out this morning! Super professional, punctual, and explained and showed me everything. I highly recommend!

My kitchen sink was badly clogged and after self attempts to hand auger using both a 25ft 1/4” auger (that we could get through completely) and a 50ft 1/2” auger (that got hung up at ~9ft) with no luck unclogging the drain, I was sure that a power auger was needed (or something worse was underfoot). I called one Local company for emergency service and did not receive an answer, so I left a VM (3 days later and I still have not received a phone call back). Tired of not having a kitchen sink, I called Mr. Rooter and they were able to schedule me in within 2 days. Not ideal, but at least they were accommodating and was also placed on standby. Collin was punctual, friendly and competent. I really appreciated his organized approach and respect for my home. He was able to clear the drain and made several attempts to run water to ensure that the problem was solved. I paid $275 for the drain clearing, which seemed reasonable given ranges I had researched online. I’m sure I could have rented a power auger for cheaper, but Collin’s professionalism and efficiency was worth the cost. I spent NYE and New Years Day flighting with the two hand augers, dirtying towels and finding buckets and tools, so an hour on a Saturday morning was nothing and worth not exerting the effort. Further, he was able to recommend maintenance tips to prevent future clogs. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter. The experience from the moment I called through repair was effortless and pleasant.

We’ve worked with Sean from Mr. Rooter three times in the past two years, all for separate issues. What I take away more than anything is that they genuinely want you to know how to avoid having the same issues. When I had a problem because the person who answered the phone in their office claimed that they are still waiting for the credit app which we have sent to them numerous times, someone wrote to us immediately to clear this issue and was quite apologetic. These guys were great. They showed up when they said they would, and finished a complete shower replacement in 2 days including excavating under a slab. I was a little shocked that the plumber was not wearing a mask and told me he thought the virus situation was “overrated”. Chalking it up to my mistake for not asking when I scheduled. I feel he did a good job a a fair price but I would only use Mr Rooter while covid is still active if the person coming in my house is wearing a mask.

Just had Mr. Weber come out to fix our one-toilet houses one toilet this evening that would not unclog after hours of plunging. Needless to say it was an emergency. Peter and Chris are the dream team ! They fixed my leaky shower in no time even gave me safety tips on how to turn off my water heater and didn’t even judge my messy garage lol ! Now that’s service! They were both kind and very knowledgeable. even wore booties to protect my flooring and my little dogs even got some love .
