Austin was the man. He was polite and professional. Best of all he was thorough. He removed pictures off a wall to get to a return vent like they were priceless pieces of art. Handled everything with care. I know the equipment they use gets way through the ducting. Just after one day I can feel how much cleaner the air is in our house. My family and I started sneezing months ago, since yesterday, not a sneeze from any of us. I dont think the previous owner(s) ever had this cleaning done. I would recommend this company to everyone I know. They offer so many other service in their profession. I will definitely save on air filters alone oh and Kleenex.

Aaron is the best. Called me when he was 20 minutes out. Showed up. Got right to work on our fireplace that hasnt had maintenance ever. Got it all cleaned up and looking sharp. Next to the furnace, checking off all the specs into the tablet form as he went. Again, getting it all cleaned up and looking good. Lastly the AC... which involved probing temperatures into the system, out of the system, and out of a duct vent. Spraying down the fan outside, brushing it clean... Just an complete, thorough visit overall. Highly recommend them for your Gas fireplace, Forced Air Furnace and A/C maintenance.FYI: Theyre going to change their name soon to Air Stars.

We replaced our 26 year old furnace and water heater which included an upgrade with A/C. The whole experience with CEC was outstanding to include the estimate with Zach who answered all of our questions and suggested the 18” slim A/C unit which fit perfectly between the RV cover and house. During the install four CEC employees showed up which included Devin, Damien, Josh and one other. It took them most of the day and we had nothing but great service by the crew, attitudes where positive and kept us informed throughout the day. Highly recommend CEC if you want a standup local company.

Our repair technician, John Harrison, was fantastic. He explained everything, answered all of my questions, helped us sign up for their maintenance services, and he was personable and professional too. He even let me watch him fix it. Lol!

We had a new unit installed. (heating system) All very nicely done and it works wonderfully. Later I had maint. done on the heating and cooling system. Again work was done well and professionally. We are happy with it all.

Ryan went above and beyond during my service.He found a major air restriction in my furnace. It looked like a 1/4 inch dog hair blanket suck to my heat exchanger. After a good cleaning all the vents are blowing in my house now and Im warm at night!

Clean Energy has always provided excellent service for us. During the recent ice storm, their technician Ron went above and beyond, walking me through restarting my gas fireplace over the phone. Saved me a service call (he had plenty of higher priority to get to) and we had heat while we had no power. Definitely recommending them to anyone asking!

Veronica in the front office was VERY HONEST in telling me that I had indeed paid for 2020 back in December 2019. (They could have easily charged me again for this year and I wouldnt have known any better.) This one action really gives me a glimpse of how honest everybody is at Clean Energy Comfort! I cant emphasize how important it is to have companies with integrity and honesty as one of their primary concerns. We are very pleased with he service provided. Were on CECs gold maint plan. This was a 6-mo follow-up. The technician (Jason) spent a substantial amount of time reviewing and cleaning our equipment and answered all our questions satisfactorily. As part of the plan, we paid nothing for this follow-up visit.

I had a problem with the first technician not sticking to manufacture recommendations on wrapping and taping all exposed lines going to and from the unit. I expressed my concern and they basically installed twice at no extra cost to make sure a few extra inches of line were fully covered as not to need future maintenance. Overall she’s running like a champ and I will be needing another one soon. Thanks.

I’ve used CEC for 10 years because I’ve always been impressed with their work! My most recent experience what’s a service call for my Mitsubishi ductless system which had a serious mold problem which potentially was a health hazard. The two techs Aaron and Jason were confident and knowledgeable of this problem and explained in detail what their plan was. After receipt of my approval they proceeded to completely disassemble the wall unit and meticulously cleaned and sanitized each part as well as the inside Of the cabinet while containing all debris and preventing it from from contaminating the environment Of the roomThe two professional techs, Aaron and Jason were amazing as they explained in detail The probable cause of this Problem in understandable terms so that I could prevent this problem from occurring again.!In summary, CEC has been my “go to” Dealer For over 10 years because of their responsiveness, reliability,Technical expertise, and Professional staff!

This review is more a review of the HVAC industry as these practices seem standard. However, in my opinion the standard is extreme. The standard I refer to is pricing. Today our gas furnace would not light, I watched a you tube video and cleaned the ignitor, it still did not ignite. I called CEC HVAC, their technician arrived at 2:30 PM and in five minutes determined the ignitor was faulty. I was informed that the price was $328 to replace the ignitor with a universal ignitor, this price did not include the $89 service charge. The technician replaced the ignitor in less than 10 minutes. I googled universal ignitors and found the retail price was under $25. I called CECs office to inquire why the cost was so expensive when they had probably paid less than $25 for the part and less than 1/2 of labor was used. There was no logical explanation therefore I ending up paying $417 for a $25 part and 1/2 hour of labor. I write this review knowing it will fall on deaf ears because the industry has us over the barrel when they charge us, however, I write this review to make the public aware of these ridiculous charges.

From the start the work was professional, while taking great care of the historic landmark. Devin and Mitch used creative ways to leave little or no impact to the original structure. Having worked with CEC several times over the past year as the President of an Electrical Contracting company they were my first choice when I needed the 15 year old HVAC system replaced at my home. With the pandemic in full swing and as an essential worker that had to be out interacting with the public AND a mother of four girls at home I wanted information on a whole home air purifier as an add on to my new system. I selected the Secureaire purifier system after they presented me with some options. It was not cheap but I decided to dig deep and go with it. Fast forward a couple months to the big fires summer of 2020 and I realized how much of a difference this system makes. The air quality inside of my home was perfect. No smoke. No smell. No trouble breathing and still no dust inside when it was raining dust for days outside. I was honestly amazed at how well it performed. CEC performed equally as well on their commitment to maintenance of the system... they called me and scheduled replacement of the filters within days of the smoke clearing. The filters... so so so black and gross as I ran the fan continuously during the weeks of horrible air quality. Also... later that month the thermostat just went dead and stopped working and it was super hot outside and we had no A/C. CEC had a tech out there same day, on a Friday, and he stayed and worked at my home until 8pm installing a replacement part under warranty and making sure we were up and running for the hot weekend... and did so with a great attitude. The Trane system I purchased rarely has any problems according to my pre-purchase research... but it was above awesome amazing that in that fluke instance CEC was right on top of it. Their maintenance program is no joke, I never have to remember and I dont even have to be home... they just call me, schedule it and get it done automatically. I got three bids when I replaced this system out of contractor due diligence habit. CEC was not the cheapest but I am so glad I went with them. Their service is impeccable. The system they supplied works amazing: Trane A/C, Gas Furnace, Secureaire Home Purifier, and Train Thermostat which I can control from my phone super easy by the way. Thank you Chris and Zach and the entire CEC team. You guys are really the best in the business.

Brian came to re-route our dry vent. Due to support beams, he was unable to re- route the dryer. He then offered to check our duct work. Brian was on time, friendly, caring and professional.

They have always been understanding that we want things to last and have done a great job let us know when we should replace things. For example we started with maintenance plan with them a few years ago. They let us know the condition of our A/C unit and heater. Also they have no problem coming back when something is not working in between maintenance. We were given a heads up that our A/C unit is very old and will not last long. It prepare us for saving and expecting this big expense. So when they came out to do maintenance, they told us it will die when it kicks on again. Time to replace it, they did a great job of replace it. They clean up and put things back even doors and gates. We are happy with their service. Its worth the maintenance plan so you know it will work and no surprise.

I was so thankful for this because I have a newborn who needs her baths. Jeff came out after hours looked at what systems i had. Was told i had heat pump learned i had gas furnace and electric air conditioner. The previous owner lied. 6 years ago we had multiple bids done on our old (1970s) heating system. We wanted a new HVAC system with a heat pump. CEC was the only company that gave us accurate information on our old system and a great value on our new one. I had an issue with my furnace where it would shut off after a minute of turning on the heat.First tech was very friendly to try and diagnose the issue.Thought it was the motor on a 5 year old furnace. Part was ordered to be installed the next day.The 2nd tech who came to install it two days later found a bees nest was blocking airflow and the motor did not need to be replaced. Good news that it saved me money not having to replace the part.Disappointed the first tech missed this issue and could have resolved the issue when he was here.Ended up costing me more money with additional labor costs the first tech should have found.

I had a very good experience with CEC Heating and Air Conditioning. I had quotes from three different companies and CEC provided not only the lowest cost for the Trane system (XV20i Heat Pump + TAM9 Air Handler + 850 Control Panel) that I was interested in but they also delivered exceptional value in terms of installation and post installation service. The three members of the install team were well dressed, courteous, and knowledgeable. They allowed me to hover as they removed the old system and installed the new, explaining to me what they were doing and why they were doing it, answering my questions along the way. After the installation was complete, Josh, the QA guy showed up and showed my wife and I the features on the control panel as he programmed it and booted the system up. He offered to return and give us a refresh if we needed it. All in all I find the service level of CEC Heating & Air Conditioning to be outstanding. As for the Trane products my hope is that i will see decades of use out of this new system just like my previous Trane heating and cooling system which was installed 39 years ago in 1971.

Ive been using CEC for 4 years now with their Gold service plan of bi-annual maintenance. The technicians are all knowledgeable and communicate any issues in a way I can easily understand the problem and solution. In 2017 they installed a new furnace and AC in our home. The installation team were hard workers and ensured everything was in place properly while working around my toddlers nap schedule even. Ive referred CEC to friends and family who have equally had exceptional service.

Called CEC and they lived up to their reputation. Did a good job and fixed our air conditionerWe were in the middle of the recent heat wave so it was especially important for the unit to be fixed. Would not hesitate to recommend them. the technician who did the job was excellent.

We have had issues with our HVAC system since we moved into our home 12 years ago. We finally decided to scrap the entire system and start from scratch. We had 4 different companies come to the house and offer up their opinions and bids to solve our issues. Each had differing perspectives regarding the cause of our problems and a reasonable solution. So frustrating! We ended up going with CEC for several reasons. They were the only bidder that wanted to install Trane branded equipment which appears to be the industry standard product. I asked several questions via email of each of the bidders, and Chris from CEC was by far the most responsive and informative. Plus, their bid was competitive (not the best, not the worst). I have had a total of six CEC employees at my house since the installation of a new furnace began. Each was competent, engaged, informative and very polite. Plus, they always showed up when they said they would. We had an issue crop up after the install, and it was handled immediately and thoroughly. All along I felt the process with CEC was transparent. I have experienced exactly the opposite with several other HVAC providers in the past. The city inspector came by and said they did a great job. I enthusiastically recommend CEC. Heres a shout-out to Mitch & Devin who did the install...You guys are great!

Josh came to fix my fireplace and he was fantastic. Very friendly and stuck around till the job was properly done. Excellent company and Im about to also get AC installed by them. Highly recommended.
