I had looked into getting a trailer hitch on my Cadillac and was told by the dealer that it would be over a thousand dollars and then Id STILL have to buy a bike rack. At U-Haul, I decided to get the hitch put on my Miata AND buy the bike rack there. Justin took excellent care of me and did the job so quickly - I dropped the car off before they closed and he called me at 8:30 the next morning to say it was done! Then, when I went to pick it up, he informed me that it was $278 instead of $324 which I had expected to pay. The bike rack is simple to use and the hitch is easy to remove when not in use. I would totally recommend Justin and U-Haul Hitch Center in Keene!

Reserved a truck several months in advanced and received an automated text less than 24 hours before my move that my truck pick up location was moved from being 5 minutes down the road to an hour away. After being on hold for over 30min to talk to someone who quickly forwarded me to Scheduling, only to be re-routed to customer service after another 20 minute wait, I was told there was nothing they could do. I told them I scheduled in advanced and with them because of the pickup location as I do not have a car and was planning on walking down to get my truck. They said they cannot guarantee location and that was it. Not even an apology for the inconvenience and leaving me to try to find a ride an hour out of my way to get the truck with limited notice.I went online to do the online chat after hanging up with customer service, thinking maybe I could ask for an extra day with the truck given the two hours out of my schedule I was now losing to go get the truck. I waited 15 minute for an agent to respond to my chat request. Again, zero apology and was just told that they would not give me an extra day. I asked about penalties for cancelling my reservation, and was told there is no penalty for cancelling. I did not respond to the chat for 3 minutes because I was chatting with Penske about their truck availability, and the chat agent at UHaul said I took too long and disconnected before I could cancel. So I had to log back on to the chat, and have been waiting over 20 minutes just to tell an agent that I would like to cancel my Uhaul. What a complete nightmare, the lack of concern or willingness to help me out, even with an extra few hours with the truck at the drop off location is incredible. I will NEVER use UHaul ever again if this is how they treat their customers. My husband and I have used UHaul quite a bit in the past, it has been always my go-to for moving, but Ill stick with Penske from now on. Penske was actually cheaper with their summer promotion, and the agent I spoke to at Penske was incredibly helpful and understanding and got me a truck at my desired location with less than 20 hours notice.

Need to get thier employees on the same page. Very poor customer service and business practices! After 2 good experiences this one was really bad! # wastedtime #smallbusiness #localbusiness
