I wish I could rate them 5 starts because the employees in the morning are AMAZING. They are always welcoming and friendly and always greet me when I come in with and leave as a guest with my friend it’s a great way to start my day.But the night staff is pretty much the worst, when I come in no one ever greets me they just sit at the front desk and don’t even acknowledge that I have walked in. Especially after yesterday’s episode I am very off put and even thinking about visiting a different gym. I believe her the night managers name is Sean and she was yelling at the morning staff in front of everybody that was working out. The way she talks to her fellow employees is very rude and off putting let alone how she treat gym goers like myself. Hoping for better working conditions for the employees.

I love it! The 24 hrs Monday- Thursday. Excellent facilities and the equipment is so easy to use and learn!

Extremely affordable, cleanly, and organized. A great gym for beginnings and casual fitness folks. The lack of free weight barbells and the ban on grunting, certain clothing, and anything testosterone related makes this a poor choice, however, for anyone serious about gaining significant mass.

Tl:dr Planet Fitness, the Exclusionary Gym with the hidden fees.I signed up for planet fitness twice over the years, thinking they might have gotten better the second time. They were (at least on paper) the cheapest gym in town. Sadly, that ended up not being the case.Their promotion declares it is only $10 a month with only $1 down, and you can cancel anytime. What they dont tell you is they will also charge you a $40+ a year membership fee on top of that $10 a month.When I stopped using their gym and tried to cancel, I was told I had to come in, in person. I cant cancel my own gym membership online?When I went in to cancel, I was told I would be charged $60+ for cancelling early! I pointed to the sign and said your sign says I can cancel anytime Well, I guess technically you can. However, they are going to charge you over $60 if you cancel before your membership hits 12 months. When I asked if they could waive the charge, they told me no.Not only do they nickel and dime you with hidden fees, the so called judgement free zone only applies to those who are not in shape. If you are in shape, and like to lift weights, the commercials they play and the signs they paste up all over the walls make it very clear; You are not welcome here. They love calling fit guys lunks (you never see fit girls being made fun of, eerily enough), and making it clear if you are in shape, dont come to planet fitness. Seriously, they actually play commercials making fun of men lifting weights. I was kind of shocked and taken aback when I saw them for the first time.They also say Open 24/5. However, they dont open Monday morning until 7am, and close Friday at 9pm. Saturday and Sunday, they are only open till 6 (I believe). So in reality, they are a 24/3 gym.The first time I signed up, their sign said open 24/7! So, I went in later one evening only to be promptly kicked out, because they were closing. But, your sign says 24/7!?All together, with their shady business practices, exclusionary atmosphere, and lack of customer service, this is sadly a gym I cannot recommend.

Clean, Friendly environment. Good value for your $. I am just getting started and I see all ages, and all stages of fitness. Perfect if you are a little intimidated as the slogan says it is a judgement free zone. The staff is always helpful, friendly and kind.

For the price I feel like PF is a great gym and has a great staff at the Kearney location. I only have a few suggestions regarding equipment. I understand that free weights are very limited at planet fitness, but a slanted smith machine would be an amazing addition to the selection of equipment at PF. Another addition that I have seen in other PF facility black card area is an inferred sauna options. These would be awesome additions and greatly improve the overall experience at the gym.

I have been coming everyday to get ready for boot camp and every staff member is so friendly and they remember you by name the staff keeps the gym so clean and is on top of extra cleaning due to covid I feel comfortable to be here every single time!!!

I normally do not leave reviews. I’m a trucker that works out at different gyms daily. I was about halfway done with my workout when the manager came to me (Very Nice Lady) to tell me a member felt uncomfortable because they felt like I was staring. I again have never heard this anywhere and I am typically at 20-24 gyms per month. It was very offensive and kinda unnecessary. After she told me what she did I noticed a guy in a Anytime Fitness shirt that was in an area I was in earlier follow me to the locker room while I took my interworkout shake. He went to his locker opened it and got nothing as he stared at me from the corner of his eyes as if he was waiting for me to pack up and leave. After he realized I wasn’t leaving he walked back out of the locker room with nothing more than he walked in with. And here is what happened in that area earlier. I cleaned off the ab rocker machine and he walked up where his girlfriend/wife or whatever she may have been to him was working out. He then began yelling at her and holding the bottom of the ab machine I just cleaned to use. Looked at me twice so I looked back. Eventually he moved far enough for me to get on the machine. Prior to this his girlfriend/wife again don’t know their relationship but she was 2 bikes over from me. Every time I looked up she was looking at me. I can’t control that. If you don’t want your significant other looking at other people you may need to find a different place to workout. I dunno. Overall the gym was very clean and the equipment was newer with minimal wear. Locker room was clean and so were showers and bathroom stalls. Staff was very quick to replace towels and spray as necessary. Also very professional. I however will not be returning because being lied on can cause problems in the long run. Awesome gym with awesome staff. Keep up the professionalism and cleanliness. Definitely a 5 star experience except for the liar that was there.

I joined Planet Fitness early last year, (2020) after years with a family membership at my local gym. I paid my dues every month and paid the annual fee, but with COVID, I didnt use it as much, preferring to exercise at home or outside (for obvious reasons). I rejoined in January as felt like I needed to be more active given how poor the weather has been. After a couple months we decide to go back to our local gym so the whole family can attend. I go in to cancel my membership and they tell me I will already be charged the annual membership fee for the year because I did not cancel my membership by Feb 25th (4 days earlier). Now I guess I should have read my membership agreement a little bit closer and $40 is whatever but I paid 2 annual membership fees and I was a member for a total of about 9 months. After stewing on it on the way home I called back and asked to talk to the manager. I was told they didnt know when the manager would be in and they arent allowed to the give refunds. I reached out to the corporate office and they told me that due to the fact that it was a franchise there was nothing they can do. Now Ill pay my second annual fee in under a year, but I hate being nickeled and dimed, and Ill never recommend Planet Fitness to anyone ever again.

Planet Fitness is a great place to waste your money every month. This place will keep you fat while charging your bank account even after youve cancelled and started at an actual gym.

I love how clean planet fitness is. I would like to see the staff be more attentive to the waiting list on amenities for the black card members. I have waited in the little waiting room area many times and no one came to get me when the equipment was empty and I always have to go out and remind them I am still waiting. Sometimes there is kinda of the your a hassle attitude from them. All in all it’s a good place.

It truly is an inviting atmosphere. There is so many different things to do. Even when it is crazy busy I can always find a machine to work out with. Then I get to relax on the hydro massage bed!!

Everyone here is so helpful and friendly. They are always willing to help out in anyway needed. I love the flexibility of being able to workout just about anytime I want and the variety of equipment and classes.

You get a lot for your money at Planet Fitness. They have a nice variety of machines for cardio and strength training. They also have areas for using free weights and for circuit training. The facility is well designed and kept clean. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful. I work out midmorning and although there are always people there, its not overly crowded. Im very pleased with my membership.

For a company that bolsters Social Fitnessing its weird to see that no employees are wearing masks. They are high fiving right next to a sign that shows alternatives to doing so. It really shows that intelligence levels are lacking. Looks clean tho, and the water is hot 👍 Sucks that the employees ruined this review.

Planet fitness is affordable, clean and there is a variety of requirements to use. I love the Hydromassage beds. A nice reward after a workout!

PF is a solid place to workout. Staff is friendly and it is the perfect sized gym for Kearney. Once social distancing is over I have no doubt there is enough equipment to avoid any unnecessary wait times.

Definitely needs to be open 24/7 or at least longer on weekends until 10 or 11. For the people who have to work weekends its hard to make it in time.

The Kearney location is new. It is cean and most of the staff is very helpful.To be honest the price point is amazing...for either the standard membrship or the Black Card!!! The selection of machines is good and the 30 minute circut is GREAT!!!

Excellent my only cry is that theres no pool or track, hot tub, sauna, or towels for sweating.

Lots of cardio and weight lifting machines. Only downside is that there is not a lot of free weights when comparing them to the machines.if you are like me and enjoy the free weights, go in the morning or later in the evening when there are not as many people.
