Ricardo is a life saver. My son’s car was overheating on Farmington and I couldn’t get to him. I called Vera’s and Ricardo was there in 15 minutes. He had my son heading home 30 minutes later. So grateful for this honest and reasonable mechanic!

Ricardo was great! It was a warm Saturday afternoon on a road trip to Texas, me and my sister noticed the left windshield wiper was only going halfway, even though the blades were newish. After stopping for a quick bite, we tried a couple of places to see if they could check on it but no one was available who could. Not wanting to have to stop and delay our arrival if it rains, we found Ricardo via google and gave him a call. He stopped his lunch early and met us, quickly diagnosed the problem, quickly applied a respectable fix, and even corrected another issue with the washer fluid. He was very friendly, helpful, and his prices were very reasonable. In all, he spent less than an hour fixing two problems and getting us back on the road quickly! Although he has an accent, communication was good. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Peru Richard!

Ricardo is a great honest mechanic. He has a mobile set up and come to you which is super convenient.My wife was driving our 04 Prius and the inverter water pump went bad. We live in the Draper area and she was headed with our kids to a family gathering up north. Being close to 7pm at night, most mechanics were closed and since this is not an issue you can continue driving with we were looking at where we could leave the car and figure it out the next day. We found Vera’s Auto Repair on google and Ricardo met us right away in the auto zone parking lot. His pricing was incredibly fair, it ended up being trickier to get the old pump off and he had to drive to downtown salt lake to get the part. Even after all this he only wanted to charge the originally quoted 1 hour of labor. He got my car running before the end of the night and I made it 40 miles back home without any issue. Next time you need car repairs check him out.

Awesome work! He showed up within 10 min of me reaching out and he was very very knowledgeable. If you need anything done this this is the guy.

He was very accommodating, i needed an urgent repair done after hours when most service were closed he was willing to meet with me and completed the repairs, very satisfied with the repairs and the service.

He stayed until the job was done so he left at 10:30pm. Appreciate him getting us taken care of today and driving to our home for the service.

The owner was very kind and helpful. Due to a miscommunication on my part, I overpaid. He was the one that caught it and he went out of his way to get me the money back. He has excellent prices compared to most shops and I will definitely be coming back when needed.

Veras helped me out with a broken power steering line over memorial day weekend 2020. I couldnt find another shop that could fit me in, but they got me fixed up and back on the road. Thanks!

I tried to do my own repair but botched it. Ricardo was able to see me the same day and got it fixed at a good price. Note that his shop is in between Next Step Auto and an insurance place (I dont remember seeing any signage for Veras)

Great customer service! I was working out in Layton when my car started acting up. I called Vera’s to see if they could take a look at my car. I spoke to Ricardo and he said they were closed but to bring my car in anyways. Turned out to be an easy fix and he gave me some advice.
