We recently contacted Maynard about having the windows on the back side of our house covered with solar screening to help cut down the heat and to provide some privacy as we back up to a lake with a sidewalk around it. Maynard came by with samples at the time he promised, his employees came by the next day for exact measurements for the windows we wanted done. A little over a week later they were ready to install earlier than expected, the installers went above and beyond by cleaning all the windows prior to installation as recommended, I hadnt had a chance to just yet, but they didnt mind one bit, after the install was complete Maynard came by the next day to follow up. Great service all the way around!

It has been more than three months since we had the solar screens at our house. Its the perfect time to write a review, or be more precise, an appreciation note to Maynard and Solar Screens Plus on the Thanksgiving day!There are 15 windows facing South and 3 on the West around our house. On hot summer days, the ACs kept working overtime. In the autumn, the sunlight through the high windows without curtain has caused various issues on the furniture, hardwood floor and TV. I have tried quite a few options but none of them worked until I contacted Solar Screens Plus.Maynard came out the next day and was so thorough with explaining everything to me. He was very patient to answer our questions. At the beginning, my wife had concerns that with solar screen it might be too dark during the day time. Maynard brought the sample to help clarify our doubts with the right option (80%). I was a bit rushing to decide to install solar screens on all 18 windows. He measured all of my windows and gave me a quote. After I paid the deposit, I changed my mind as I wanted to take phased approach. I called Maynard that I wanted to install the solar screens on 11 windows first. When I apologized for the inconvenience, Maynard told me no worries and he would changed the order accordingly. After the screens were installed, we were so happy for our decisions, not only for the solar screens, but more for Maynard and his team. I feel so peaceful and satisfied when I watch TV and, at the same time, enjoy the soft brightness. Needless to say, our electricity bills dropped substantially in the past couple of months. My wife also likes the outlook of the solar windows which match our backyard nicely.Maynard is the pioneer in the solar screens business in Katy. He told me in our first meeting his biggest pleasure is to have pleased customers. He has doubled our satisfaction with both his excellent service and his great kindness as well. Quality screens. Maynard took time to show me what color and style would enhance the curb value of my home. I was very happy with the screens once installed. They look great. And the owner went one step more for me. He saw my outdoor sewer access plastic cap was decayed. He fixed it for me. I’d like to think he did it because I’m a single lady but I think he did it because that’s just the type of person he is! I highly recommend using this company! Wonderful job! Well done!

Solar Screens Plus is the best. They are honest and straightforward. They measured my windows and gave me a good estimate. When my screens were ready they came and every screen fit perfectly during installation (Thanks Billy).
