Extremely frustrated with our experience using our capital one venture card. We used our sky miles plus our own money to book a trip. Unfortunately because covid is still really bad and we are concerned about the safety of our children we are trying to reschedule our trip. While trying to reschedule we found out that our flight had been changed from one airline to another. The airline doesnt have the full amount of our purchased tickets. We are unable to reschedule with that airline. Neither airline nor capital one is willing to refund our money. Now were out all of our accrued miles AND our cash. Wouldve been better to book on our own. Beware.
The customer service at this branch used to be great. Now Its a horrible. 10.1.2021
Went straight from this Capital one branch to Chase bank today to open a new businessChecking and savings account. Lady at the drive through rudely claimed I was depositing a fraud check because it was a copy. Even though I had deposited the same copys from same clients plenty of times before with no issues. How do even accuse of someone of Fraud just like that??. and a capital one customer for at least 5?yrs?? AMAZING. Funny I deposited same check at Chase bank was verified and even got some ofthe funds already. Even though I didnt need it . Im going to cancel the rest of my 4 accounts with cap one
Poor customer service. They dont care about customers, no matter how long youve been with them nor how much money they have made off you.
There is only 2 people working at grubs place. Joke. Change bank
Ive never had a bad experience at this Capital One branch. The tellers are always friendly and helpful
Worse banking experience! I came prepared with my documents neither teller was knowledge about what was needed to open a business account. Instead of asking if anything else they in which I had other question was rush out the door. I will be taking my business banking to chase
Worst bank of all, I came to the ATM to withdraw my own money from my account, ATM doesn’t work and wasn’t not allowing me to withdraw my own money. Literally the worst banks of all, very few locations and horrible customer service.
Went inside gave them cash to put inside my account they told me I couldent if I didn’t have my ID I lost my wallet and everything in it I told them I’m trying to pay a bill if they can just put it inside the account I could give them my social number my address my date of birth how much I have in the account and account number they said no for someone to Zelle me money instead I have been banking with this bank over 5 years
Today I went to this Capital One branch to access my safety deposit box. I wore my mask, went inside the first door, the second door was locked. I waited and the ladies in front (2) were making signals to go to the back through the car lane, they assumed that I wanted a regular transaction but no one took 30 seconds to ask me what I wanted. After waiting 5-10 minutes I went back to my car and went to through the car lane. (5 more minutes). When I got there I told them what I needed, they told me to wait. Then asked me for my drivers license and to wait some more (2 minutes), I sent the drivers license and waited (5 more minutes). They wanted to know what box I had, they did not know, all of these through the car line mic/speaker. Then they asked if I had a mask, which I did wear when I went inside the first time, but no one bother to help me. Finally they told me to go around and come inside, which I did with my mask. Did the regular procedure (10 more minutes), did my business and got out (total 30 minutes). So what I saw was poor customer service and a lack of management procedure to handle a safety deposit access. Looks like they figured it out on the way. I hope this poor training does not spread to the financial services which have my trust for the last 5+ years as a customer. I do not remember ever to be treated in a Capital One branch like that ever. I really hope they improve. All of these could have been avoided if just one person (there were at least 6 inside) took 30 seconds to ask what I wanted, just as a courtesy.
Always great service for me. Sometimes you get more flies with honey.
Great service. I don’t understand the bad reviews. I have done business with Capital for a long time. Highly recommend.
Horrible experience. This bank is really losing it. Not sure if they are going out of business or what is the deal. I have had them for 3 years and all the branches I have been going to are closing and only allowing you to get serviced thru Kiosks(way before Covid.) Now with covid they have really gotten worse. Its HORRIBLE. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOVER. I am canceling my business account tomorrow. I am done with you Capital One!. NO MORE!! ANY bank is better than yall!!
Didn’t help me at all with what I needed, I was just waiting there in vain. And the workers had a bad attitude.
Great service..
Bad service
You Should close any accounts and find a better bank I left my wallet at home 4hours away I had 2forms of Id my account and routing info plus the capital one bank app they still wouldntlet me pull my money out I had to walk home which took me 8 hours with no food or water
These people are kind. These people are prompt. These people take care of my needs when I’m inside their bank. Their professional and courteous when I go through the teller line. The ATM machine is reliable and one of the fastest in Houston. There’s plenty of parking.
Kevin the teller is awesome. He maintain his professional manor even though i get a little mad cause they cant give me all $100 bills that i want. Great job buddy. Hope you get a promotion cause you outdone most branch manager that i dealt with.
Why closed when all other businesses open. I know we had a hard freeze, BUT NOT NOW. Bad when you cant even use drive through. Service???
I went there to open a checking account. When I came in the bank, no one acknowledged me. I went on the tablet and registered to open an account. After 30 min wait, and still no one even said Hello to me, or acknowledge I was there as human being, I left, and no one acknowledged that neither. This is absolutely terrible customer service. When customer are there for any reason, they should at least be nice with them and say hello and how can we help.Bear minimum...
I sat in the drive thru today for 30 minutes with only 1 car ahead of me. Slow, slow, slow....
This is a review for Capital One, in general. I traveled to Colorado in September with my wife and two small children, arriving around midnight by flight. Went to the rental car service we had set up at least a month beforehand, and none of my cards would work. Capital One, who has enough money to sponsor bowl games and hire Jennifer Garner, apparently does not have enough money to provide 24 hour customer service. We were stranded. Had to call an Uber to get to our hotel 30 minutes away. I let this slide, and I shouldnt have.Fast forward to tonight. I received a text stating a $400 purchase was just attempted with my debit card. It was fraud, and I was able to shut it down immediately. Called the phone number from the message to see how we go about reporting it to the police and store to get the video and hopefully have charges pressed. Was on hold 20 minutes and got an automated message stating no one was available to take the call, and it hung up. Called right back. Same thing. Called the number from the back of my card, and I finally got in touch with someone after 15 more minutes on hold. Explained why I was calling. He tells me to hold on, does not explain what he is planning to do, puts me back on hold.....AND NEVER RETURNS! Was on hold another 45 minutes when they just dropped my call. CALLED A FOURTH TIME. Get an automated message stating they are closed for the night. I have never seen anything like this in my life. I will be switching banks this week. I am beyond disgusted.
I’m writing this as I sit in this branch for over an hour the second time this week. Today I have been in their lobby waiting to be helped for 1 hour and 15 mins and counting. Why would you do this to your customers? Don’t think I’ll be back. The 3 people who went ahead of me seemed very upset as they were leaving, so I’m not alone . What a let down.
Worst experience ever!, they are super slow, just have one person for a line of 20 cars! I waited more than 1.5 hrs
This is my bank. They made a series of careless errors that resulted in the entire balance in my bank being unattainable by me. I was unable to purchase my groceries my medication my gasoline, anything! Its not so much the mistake that they made when helping me handle a problem that I had its the fact that they let me go so many days struggling when they could by their own rules and laws have allowed me access to my bank account. Id be very careful with this Bank. You should be fine if you dont ever have to go into the branch but I would not recommend going to the branch unless absolutely necessary. I ended up in there four times and four times was treated very, very poorly and were absolutely rude and dismissive . Whats more, they came out from behind the counter to discuss why I was there and I was in line! Theres a customer to my left and a customer to the right and theyre talking to me about my private banking information right in front of everybody . It was humiliating Im very very upsetting and this was all only made worse by how sick I was. The reps at customer service were easy and helpful as usual. Although they could not force the tellers to do any particular transaction as (to each other theyre co-workers). The representatives at the customer service line were anywhere from shocked to outraged to confused about the reasons the branch was denying me access to my money as these things that they were doing were not part of their practices. I went back and forth three times over three days and each time I had my paper drivers license renewal receipt, my expired drivers license, my original birth certificate, my original Social Security card, several pieces of mail from them and could spew off a whole slew of transactions to help validate that I am who I said I am. They refused to help me access my account because they said they needed to be able to run my driver license through their little scanner machine and the paper could not be run through it. This is not a rule of law or mandatory this is a power trip. Even on my third visit as I was obviously considerably more ill and frustrated they still refused to try to find a way to help me. The customer service line was shocked that considering the circumstances and how things got to where they did not make allowance for me and just let me access some money out of my account. Especially since I didnt have a bank card because they jumped the gun and turned mine off making it totally useless until my new one came in the mail. The new one that did not show up the next day as I was promised! Or the next, or next, or next! I do like this bank because of the fees or lack of in some cases but Im just shocked at the absolutely appalling treatment I received at this branch! There are only 2 (I yhonk...,) and this one the only branch close enough that I wouldnt have to take a week off to make a trip to. LOL. And no, there was no compensation, no apologies, no offers of any sort of treat or compassion. I do not think they give a damn. I really believe this. I was shocking, truly shocking.
Door states the branch closes at 5PM. However, door was locked at 4:59PM on 5/20/2019. Employees still inside.i was in the process of buying a car and will now have to wait. Very displeased.
I am a fixed customer of that bank and always had a good attention. but lately a bad attitude on the part of the employees has treated me very badly😡👎🏻
I went to get cash from the drive up ATM and it was gone. I had to drive to the front and park and go inside. The ATM machine inside was out of $20 bills. How stupid do you have to be to take out the drive up ATM and not stock the only other ATM with enough $20 bills for a three day holiday?
Stayed in line for over 45 minutes. I was the third car in line.
So this is not my normal capital one but I needed to deposit money. Im standing in line ( the only person in work clothes and tattoos) next in line and a lady comes from the back to help me. Takes my money, ID, and ss# to the back... 20 minutes later Im still waiting and ALL 7 customers that were behind are done and gone. Stereotype much??
The customer service is very nice. We open new check account to my young boy 18 years old.
The manager was extremely rude and showed no consideration for our issue and we have been with this bank for nearly 10 years. But they have lost a loyal customer.
Courteous always
Just left WELLS Fargo to join Capital so far so good
Everytime Im here Im treated with complete respect and a smile. Very easy people to work with.
Worst experience ever.
The worst bank ever! After 2 hours waiting to open a bank account! They just said: do you have another appointment? Because this is going to take long! 😡
This place sucks!!!
Atleast 1/2 hr wait every time you need to see a banker .. not worth it.
I had a account with this bank for 5 years after 5 years they called me and told you have to bring all your information again i asked why ? they told me bring it and we gonna tell you when you came here or we gonna close both your accounts in next monthI went to the bank and i ask them why ????After like 30 mine excuses finally they told me because of your NAMEWhat is that if is not RACISM ????I close both of my account here before they wanna close it
Waste of time, they dont have any idea in what they doing.
They are SLOW and Not good with customer service
