In my opinion this is the best athletic club in the Katy area for our needs. The workout area is awesome, never a wait for a machine or weights. The equipment is in great condition. The staff is superb! I am an early check in in the mornings and the staff always greets you with a smile and they are always glad to offer assistance. Towels and wipes are provided and plentiful. The extra amenities are outstanding! Awesome kids are indoors and outdoors. Adults only pool area indoors and outdoors. There is a Café inside and outside. Locker rooms are fantastic. My lovely bride and I love this club for our fitness and relaxation needs!

Great size and wide variety...however for it being so new cleanliness and maintenance is poor and declining, especially for the price. Limited drink and food selections at the Cafes, and what you could choose from will most likely be flat. Very limited staff and who is available needs more training in customer service. The staff when they first opened was GREAT! I can no longer say that. Limited towels available and bins over flowing. Pools have not been as clean or heated. Hot tub is barely hot feels like room temp water with jets. For the price this place has become very disappointing since the Freeze in Feb 2021, it feels like they have not been able to bounce back.

Me and my family have been members since this place opened and attend the gym and various classes regularly. No complaints on that side. My big issue is with the outside pools. You pay you membership for the privilege of being able to use the pool and all its facilities. The pool side bar is unreliable, seems to open as and when they have staff available.For the second week running we have just been asked to leave the outside pool because of some alleged inclement weather miles away!Today, apparently there was a lightening strike. When I asked the pool attendant where this was (because we didn’t see It and there was zero % of anything nearby all afternoon) he looked at me quite vacantly and shrugged his shoulders!Last week we got told to leave because “there was reports of a lightening strike 5 miles away!”Yet the birthday party that was part inside/part outside got to remain!I’m all for safety but c’mon use some common sense. Not happy and seriously considering canceling our membership!

This place just open on March 5th and Ive already explored / used a lot of this place. The virtual cycle class is one of a kind, the equipment is new so you are getting some of the best state of the art tools offered today. Pool area and wet areas stay cleaned with a rotating schedule of what seems like every 5minutes. The cafe serves some pretty cool smoothies. And the dishes I hear are nice, havent tried a dish yet...I will give additional feedback when I explore more and when more time has been put into this place.

Great place. Best kids club amongst the gyms. Arts, outdoor play, slides, gym - keeps them going for hours. Excellent cardio equipment and one of the better pool setups. Happy to be a member.

The gym is ok except for the fact that the machines lack maintenance for example the hack squat machine has need broken for nearly 2 months for the price of these memberships this is disappointing

Kids club inflexibility ruins an otherwise enjoyable gym experience…Gym and locker rooms are nice. Would rate 5 stars however the kids club scheduling is absolutely terrible. First, for these membership rates having to reserve spots for the kids club is rather ridiculous, should be able to walk in and drop off whenever like it is at LifeTime and other comparable gyms. They’ve just cut back on staffing for whatever reason and now they don’t even have enough staff to support kids of different age groups at all times. Long story short at this location it is very difficult for members with 2 kids to reserve spots at the kids club and even use the gym. Will give this about a week and see if fixed otherwise back to LifeTime

If you are looking for a gym in the katy area don’t bother with this place . This could be a very nice gym except it seems to be very poorly managed as evidenced by the fact it is in a constant state of disrepair.- The steam room in the men’s locker room is constantly closed for repairs. Over the last year it has been closed or not working properly at least half a dozen times. At the current moment it is completely closed and the indication from management is it likely will be closed for the next 10 days.- The tile in the steam room is stained in places and the grout is dirty.- Today they had a sign up that they were rationing towels upstairs due to broken dryers.- Dirty towel bins constantly overflowing.- Additionally members wishing to shower after their workouts today were treated to a cold shower because the hot water in the men’s locker room was not working .- Last week they were serving flat sodas at the pool snack bar because the soda machine was broken.- Other reviewers reported many pool closures in the past which is accurateThis is all pretty unacceptable considering the place is pretty much brand new and the memberships arent cheap. If you are looking for a full service gym don’t bother with this place and check out one of the several others in the area . This place isn’t worth the money.

Nice and relaxing.

I dont know what is worse. The constantly changing floor plan for the location of the machines or the inexperienced high school kids sitting on machines for 5 sets where they are on their phones for 5 minutes between sets. Its beyond frustrating working out here and its not going to get better. I could go on and on about cleanliness of the changing rooms but who cares? Villa Sport doesnt so why should I even point that out? The inmates run this asylum.

I love this fitness VillaSport but there are too many issues of not having towels in the fitness area and no towels to shower. This is unhealthy especially during this pandemic time. How often do members keep getting excuses that the washing machine is broke or not enough employees? VillaSport Management, please get it together.

Great gym for the whole family. Big weight area and a lot of classes for cardio activities. Indoor pool open year around and outdoor pool with slides and adults only area.

Great gym! A lot of equipment. I have never had to wait. The pool is great for families and also has an adults only section.

This is a great gym. Facilities are great, but so of all the rest of the gyms in the area. The only advantage of VS are the pools. They have 2 indoor pools and 2 outdoor pools. Unfortunately, they lack service. Most of the afternoon, the indoor pools are filled with the swim team, outdoor pools are not heated making them unusable. The lack of attention from the local management is frustrating, they always direct the complaints to their corporate department. VS corporate department is just negligent on responding to any complaint or comment about their service.

The best place to workout

Just an advice ...the lifeguards should be more careful and responsible, their job is to save in case of emergency,other than this,everything looks fine.

Our very 1st day came at 12 noon outside pool closed because of chemicals and not sure when they’ll open and then inside pool is so full of Chemicals my eyes are burning sitting on side of pool! No one seems to know Nothing! Very disappointing experience w/our grand babies. My husband tried to sign up for classes and cldnt do they because they didn’t set us up properly! Having 2nd thoughts of this place!

Facilities are great, just like the rest of the gyms in the area. When our family moved to Villa it was due to the extra pool. There are 2 indoor pools and 2 outdoor pools. Unfortunately, customer service is terrible. Outdoor pools are not heated although they say they are at a certain temperature, which makes them unusable. The lack of attention from the local management is frustrating to say the least. Management has failed to respond any complaints about their poor service.

The gym is wonderful. Excellent classes. The place is super clean. I went to the spa many times and the service is great.

I love this gym. It is clean, the staff is wonderful and helpful. I have everything I need, towels and shower essentials. There are machines here that Ive never seen before and they are always working. The whirlpools and sauna are my favorite 😍

Great place to work out, the gym and the classes are great! I also love the lap pool, and love the fact the pools are open year around. Also the locker rooms and showers are super clean, and have everything you could think of...My 13 and 15 year old sons love the family pool, the basketball court and all the machines to work out upstairs. Instructors and staff are really friendly too. Very happy we joined. I heard the food is really good but I haven’t tried it yet... I will soon!

It’s honestly great, the classes are awesome for my wife and it has every thing I need for my workouts. Definitely worth it.

Villa Sport is a breath of fresh air. They are doing their absolute best to help the community stay active and healthy during these strange times. Villa Sport kids is AMAZING. My 8 & 11 year old LOVE going there . It is clean and a great step in the right direction to having my kids be social again since they have not been in school.I have attended 3 group classes and have loved each one!Keep up the great work VS!

Signed up in March and saw a promotion that if I signed someone up, me and the person would get a $75 gift card after a month of their membership. I signed up a whole family of 4…Come August, still never received it. They constantly made excuses that they were backed up, even after 5 months

Absolutely loved the place. Something happened where we decided to cancel membership.

All of the amenities they say they have, they don’t! The indoor pool area for kids is only open on SOME weekends. I repeat, some weekends! And it’s never consistent. It’s incredibly frustrating to bring my 5 year old to this place because the amenities are unreliable.

I really enjoy this gym. I mainly go there for swimming. Everything is very clean! The gym staff is nice. The pool is clean, and I thoroughly enjoy it. I usually swim 3 to 4 days a week. Awesome place to be.

This is my familys favorite place to go now.We were eagerly waiting for this sports complex to open and since the opening we look forward to getting there and workout. They have latest machines and ample space with proper ventilation. The staff is very professional and helpful. I would like to give a shout out to ROY. This young man went out of his way for my teen sons orientation to the gym. My younger one is a basketball enthusiast and the huge basket ball court there is his favorite area.Honestly the whole place has such a welcoming aura to it that it feels like home. Thumbs up and highly recommended.

My go to and getaway in this crazy environment. Its clean, great classes, awesome fitness instructors and new equipments.Highly recommend Cinco Ranch location and I have been working out since its opened.

They charge my guest 20$ they let me look really bad when i signed they said i can bring guests 5 times a month 😠 do not get any verbal promis just write or email if u want to upgrade or remove one from the account they will get your money of your account bc there is no thing written or email there goal the money first not the costmer

Love this fabulous facility... so much better than any other literally. They offer classes that are included in your membership, that’s awesome!!!! Then it’s very reasonable for the younger child we have. The facility is far much better then life time. I would love if it stayed open til midnight though, but it’s amazing and the staff is amazing. There not trying to rip you off with all the cost for the classes like other facilities the classes are included. Just a great experience all the way around. My 3 day and I’m still Bragging to others. The GM is wonderful, he has such a professional, but friendly approach. He actually care about how the guest feels. He greets each and every guest. I saw this with my own two eyes. I love love love Villasport athletic club and spa.

The club is wonderful. However, I had frozen my membership due to the current situation. I was charged $245 for the month of June and July despite requesting that my membership be frozen. I had categorically requested that my account be frozen up until I request it to be activated. It has been difficult to get thru to someone responsible at the club to process the refund. It is ridiculous that the club is not taking cognizance of the current situation and charging despite requesting that the account be put on hold.

We had a nice experience, we found the staff at the front desk friendly and the supervisor was ablevto answer all of our questions. Very clean, thank you for that. We have only been 1 time but are looking forward to going back.Thanks

I am SO glad this club opened in my neighborhood! It has a relaxed yet luxurious vibe and the staff and fitness instructors are awesome. I highly recommend this for families.

This place is AMAZING, Im not so much fan of Gym but this one I LOVE IT, the staff is always friendly and helpful, the sauna,the steam room, the whirlpool in general the facility is excellent. I like how the offer all the classes free (included in you membership) in other places you have to pay extra for those, my daughter and I really enjoyed the zumba classes we take every single class no joke!!!! we love Brianna, Megan and also the cycle excitement class with Marycarmen and the yoga relax time with Mara....this girls are amazing !!!! I wish you all the best and thank you for always make my family feels welcome in your classes!!!!!

In a word: WOW!!! This place has EVERYTHING! They literally put everything you could ever want in terms of health care, fitness, self-care, and family fun and put it into this place. There is a pool for families and a pool for adults who just want to get away and relax for a bit. The pool has a bar and food is served to you poolside. The spa is incredible!! They spared no expense! I can save so much time by getting all of my needs met in one place. If you want weight-lifting, cycling, pilates, boot camp, indoor swimming, zumba, yoga, etc...., you have come to the right place. The kids place is amazing! Check it out! You will not regret it!

My kids and I were put out of a workout room and was told its for paying customers. We left peacefully and I then canceled my membership. After canceling my membership I was told I couldnt get a refund BUT we could continue to come for the rest of the month. Which we have no need anymore since we were put out for paying customers. My youngest son wanted to shoot around so I told him to go to the gym since its already paid for. Again my kids were denied access before we had canceled our membership. So no refund and no access 😕 on Aug 18th. I myself went back August 20th to speak with the manager about it. She say oh Im sorry it was our mistake but next time they come we would give them a free smoothie. A FREE SMOOTHIE!? I FEEL LIKE THATS A SLAP IN THE FACE. THATS THE WORLD WE LIVE IN NOW. IM NOT SURPRISED...

I had my account frozen due to the pandemic and received a charge for the full bill without warning for their first month of service be back at 100%. After trying to get to the bottom of this for over 3 weeks I finally got my refund and was told that my account was frozen till August 1. When I attempted to flat out cancel my membership the line went completely dead and I have not heard anything from Thomas or his team in over 2 weeks. The management skills of the GM Thomas do not appear to be up to par to run a high end athletic club and if corporate sees this please just look at the other members on here complaining of the same unprofessionalism, poor communication, management skills and delegation on the part of Thomas and his team.This also has not even mentioned that I referred guests to join the club when it opened and was told I would receive a $75 gift card for each guest. This has not happened and I have been trying to get to the bottom of this since the beginning of June. Looks like this also is just too much for Thomas and team to handle.Again if by some chance corporate reads this, I wouldnt even let Thomas manage a Wendys. Him and his entire team needs to be reorganized.

Amazing new facility in the Cinco Ranch area. Lots of different classes with great instructors and top notch equipment. I highly recommend it for the entire family as it has kids and family activities as well.

In general everything is great since all is new, but, after using this club a couple of days and since I have 2 small kids, the family zone is not very well planned, there is no space to take a shower and put your things and with your kids and also in the next door you have another family mom and dad dealing with the same exact issue, I want to believe that because they just started they will fix this situation sooner than later, other than that this place is great !!!!

It was only our first date, but Im optimistic we can begin a great relationship. 🤘🤙👍

I was today at villasport athletic club in cinco ranch KATY, and I have to say firts it was AMAZING, the areas was really clean and I was totally in the plan to get the membership with my family, they have EVERYTHING, really creative and a good place to spend personal time and family time, BUT I have to say something that brings me decide to put just ONE STAR, is because when I was asking about yo get the membership they was REALLY DEMEANING ABOUT ME, they treated me disrespectfully, they dont value the new client, and I must say that maybe it was because of my race, that’s why for that reason I didn’t make the serious decision to get my membership.

Been calling for weeks about a billing issue and the front desk always puts me through to someone else who doesnt answer or respond to voicemail, or she takes down my name and number and promises to have someone call me as soon as they arrive, but never a call back.

I had my gym bag (with wallet, car key, etc) stolen from one of the lockers! I wasnt expecting that this would happen in a club like this, considering that you pay $200+ per month for a small family. When I realized what happened I immediately notified the staff. However, only the gym manager has access to the cameras. I tried to contact him several times, without success. It seems that the management dont care about this kind of issue. Im completely disappointed with how the situation was handled by the management. This is not the kind of place/environment that I want to bring my family.

I love this club, I just would like you to publish the activities that you do if the pool is available or not, the spa activities do not show anything on your website, at least for Cinco Ranch

The floor of the pools seems scratchy to me and the water in the jacuzzi is very hot 👍

This site nobody gives one a solution to a problem nor the managers nor any person in the public service debited me money by mistake from them which has passed 28 days and they do not give an answer
