Our daughter has been coming here for 5 years, and is absolutely hooked. We love the family atmosphere and all of the coaches, and are now attending classes 4-5 days a week. Our daughter is now on the travel team, and we had a great experience with our first national championship trip. The older girls cheer on the younger girls, and show great sportsmanship toward the other teams as well.Highly recommend Showcase Gymnastics!!!
The staff is awesome and great with kids of all ages
My daughter LOVES taking aerial silks here! Our experience has been stellar so far from the initial trial class.
I love this place! On Saterday I had my gymnastics comp. there.Their team won first place! My team won third place!!!They were pretty good to admit.
There’s much to be desired. My daughter takes tumbling here, she loves it only because we just moved to this area and a classmate of hers is in the class. No COVID protocols are followed, I’m not too pressed about my daughter getting sick, but I NEVER enter the facility. There is no social distancing between athletes, my daughter has not used hand sanitizer once, and the athletes don’t wear masks (which is a choice, and I actually prefer that my daughter does not). The classes are pretty full, and the place is pretty packed (looks very cramped, athletes running/tumbling all over each other). She probably has about a good 5-7 minutes during her hour long class with the actual tumbling coach, learning something new. Outside of that, they’re either stretching, warming up, or running through stations. Oh, and the stretch/warm-up takes at least 30 minutes of the hour long class. So, only 30 minutes left for tumbling... 5-6 stations that’s about 5 or so minutes each (the coach is one of the stations). Have I ever seen this in a gym, no... is it a deal breaker, also no. I signed her up to make friends & hopefully learn something, but she goes do a different gym 2 other days out the week where she is learning in a smaller class size, so this gym is more of a “fun” thing for her. With this, I would have given 3 stars... maybe 3.5 stars. My reason for 2 stars is the poor communication & customer service. My daughter has been to 4 classes here thus far. They offer a Kids Night In on some Fridays. She received the invitation/flyer in her class. After driving 40 minutes out my way, I brought her there to participate and she was turned around because they were “full.” No where, and I mean no where, does it say to pre-register, first come first serve, limited spots, etc. It does say join us... open to the public... the price... activities... food. My daughter prepared for this the night prior, picked out an outfit to wear, packed a little back pack, and was SUPER EXCITED to go, just to ALL OF A SUDDEN have a “full” requirement. She was devastated, I mean in tears, crying. I HAD to call and let them know. I even asked how is one supposed to know that we needed to pre-register? She ensured me it was on the flyer... she pulled it up & the email blast GUESS WHAT... it WAS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. Wondering what you would expect? An apology, a credit for a future event (After I expressed I had driven 40 minutes to get her there), them allowing her to come back and participate..? Nope. Nothing. The office manager said she USUALLY creates the flyer, but this time “the boss” created it and must’ve been rushing cause she left it out BUT gave me the date for the March event. So essentially, NO WORRIES YOUR TIME WAS WASTED DRIVING ALL THE WAY HERE, TOO BAD YOUR DAUGHTER IS CRYING... NOT MY FAULT THO, THE BOSS’ FAULT BUT HERE’S THE NEXT DATE, BE SURE TO PREREGISTER. It felt beyond insensitive and the fact that the office manager, literally, put the blame on someone else with no resolution was unheard of.I won’t pull the black card for this one. But I’m positive if we looked like the 5-6 people standing behind the desk laughing and conversing as we walked out, it would have been a different outcome. This was a deal breaker for me. BUT my daughter still wants to take class with her friend, so for her sake... I’ll allow it. Hopefully, they don’t treat her differently after reading this review. Still felt the need to leave it, though.Overall, I personally would choose a different gym. One with better communication & customer service, cleaner, and has smaller class sizes.
Cleanliness was questionable, especially their lack of safety protocols in place to prevent the spread of COVID.There were no sanitation practices between the change in classes (I was told there would be) & absolutely no social distancing. Temperatures weren’t taken and participants weren’t questioned for symptoms. I was surprised.I also felt like it was an hour of play time rather than actual instruction for my kid who has an interest in gymnastics. He had fun, regardless but I’ll continue to search for a gym where I feel we are safe and my money is well spent.
They do not follow Covid protocols. Mask wearing not worn by too employees.
My daughter went from cartwheels to backflips in 2 years here.
What a fantastic gymnastic center! I had my daughter in Showcase Gymnastic for over a year and is extremely satisfied. Everything from the fabulous coaches to the environment is super awesome. Within a year my daughter participated in two performances and a competition. Every time that I attend the performance shows, I am blown away with outstanding performances. This year 42 people from Showcase Gymnastics will be attending the national competitions. This alone shows how awesome the showcase gymnastics is. I highly recommend this center to anyone who wants to have a superb experience and learn or practice gymnastics at a high level.
Showcase Gymnastics is the best gym for so many reasons! My daughter has been in gymnastics for six years and has trained at 4 different gyms over that time. While each of the first 3 had their own set of pluses and minuses, none really hit the mark. In each, we got the feeling that our kid was just a number and this was reinforced by office staff and coaches that were inflexible, impersonal, and often disinterested. After being conditioned to this type of experience in every gymnastics gym, we were blown away by the friendliness, attention and flexibility that we got at Showcase. The staff treats us like family…and the coaching is top notch. I saw a difference in my daughters abilities within a month of being there…after being on a skill plateau and being lost in the crowd at Fun Fit Gym for nearly a year. I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Showcase!
Don’t bring your child to this gym. The receptionists are racist and not helpful, the classes are super crowded and the students are not being well trained. Don’t waist your money and time in this place! And Ms Cupples my children are attending classes in this place, so I wrote this review telling the truth. I’m going to cancel the classes ASAP. Thanks for replying but take better care of your staff, they are not amazing.
Two daughters attended this Gym with remarkably different results. The older of the two was in a good class that pushed her to try her best. However the junior classes that my second daughter attended were very poor. The coach had no control over the children even with a small class. The coach had the 3/4 year olds carry out multiple tasks with little or no guidance. After 3 months my child had learned nothing and the coach if anything seemed to be getting worse. Had to withdraw the child.
My daughter had a competition hosted at this place. The flyers with ticket prices were handed out to use with wrong ticket prices. When we showed the proof of this, some lady with frizzly brown hair and glasses told us, I dont know what you want me to do. Even if you didnt set the prices someone should have been present to be on top of this stuff. Very rude.
Awesome staff and coaches! Everyone is very friendly. It is wonderful to find a gym that cares so much about their students!
My kids are happy here, they get a lot of attention, plus there is a multitude of opportunities to show off their skills. Weve been here for about two years.
My 8 year old daughter trains here and she loves it. She has learned so much and has continued to progress. I like coach Toby because he takes time with all the kids and doesnt just stick to the kids who pick it up more naturally. My three year old went here for a couple of months but I was not pleased with the instructor. Her expectations were too high for 3-4 year olds and she often lost control of even a small group of kids. She would do circuits made up of seven stations and expect the 3 year olds to remember. Obviously they never did so she always seemed frustrated with them. I had finally had enough so I removed my daughter which was a shame.I have watched the mom and me group for babies and young toddlers and the teacher was enthusiastic and led a great class.
Wonderful gym! They have such flexible schedules and have a great staff that really cares about the kids.
Amazing place! Great and friendly staff and nice facility.
My sister loves the teachers and has a great time learning!
Great workout today
