(Updated): Gym need to open back full hour. They closed too early and on weekend even earlier close earlier too. Open fully! Please explain to me how do you determine the Virus is safer if you close at 10pm or 12midnight or any other time? So the virus just attack people more after 10pm weekday and after 5pm on weekend? Be realistic!!
[Update: They close really early on weekends and Sunday I didnt see it opened in the evening when I went. There are no towels provided and most of the running machines that have the fans... the fans dont work and as a cross country runner that hates running outdoors in the Texas heat Im very surprised by this, surprised by the hours, and that there are no towels. I really, really hope things get better because so far Im thinking about freezing or cancelling.] I signed up today, but I did not realize they closed at 10pm. I thought it was 24/7 or at least open until midnight. I am also worried because it wanted my banking and routing number rather than my card despite it being no contract. This makes me really nervous that if I try to cancel I will not be able to do it. I hope the sauna opens up, but I am also worried it will be overcrowded when it does open. I will update this later on after yoga classes and using the facility more to see how it all goes. It is close to my apartment and a good price, but I am skeptical that I am better off using my apartments gym that has a jacuzzi that is open and closes at 10pm as well... so we will see. Also, Kazee was assisting me and he was a very good looking man, so I hope there will be more good visuals like that to make my experiences at the gym better and motivate me to keep attending.
Looks clean, neat, and colorful inside and some of my notable friends from other clubs moved here and feeling happy to enjoy this experience at fitness connection. It even includes a outdoor crossfit area. Only 10 bucks a month and 4 bucks for down payment. A big gym that provides cheap money, highly recommended.
Worst place in town, less than two months and I was charged a $53. Annual fee and a $10. Setup fee, your website says 0 down to join, place is too crowded and their business hours are way less than any other fitness center out there, I do not recommend this place to anyone.
Really nice gym with a bunch of different machines. didn’t have to wait for anything and a good atmosphere.
Great little workout gym at a reasonable price. My go to gym. Aerobic equipment is plentiful along with a wide variety of weight machines. Free weight area is somewhat limited during the busy times. One great feature is the outdoor workout area.
Its what youd expect from a 10 dollar a month gym. Has all the equipment you need and its hours are convenient. Only issues I have is overcrowding on weekday nights and missing barbells every now and then. The gym does get the job done though

This gym is so amazing. The staff, the environment, and services. Everyone is interested in your personal fitness goals. Kaze host bootcamp and it’s straight fire. I’ve been going for a while now and it’s still a challenge for me. I love it!
I have no reason to give you less stars, but it would be nice if you were mindful of your customer base. Some people don’t work on the weekends and that is the best time they have to come to the gym. I’m sure you could have come up with more resourceful ideas than closing on Sundays to sanitize, if that is truly even the reason. I understand nobody wants to work the weekends, but we all do it or have done it. That’s the nature of your business being a service based industry. I’m sure some of your customer base may look for something else that is more accommodating. I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to convince my SO to come and get a membership here this weekend. He’s probably going to want me to drop and go somewhere else that accommodates 9-5 Monday through Friday type of crowds. I’m very disappointed.
I like the facility and the vast selection of machines where there is not just one and everyone is waiting for it. And of course there are little things that could be fixed that I notice but don’t really pay much attention to (like fully working TV’s). It really comes down to 2 things, the fact that I cancelled a previous membership with another GYM because there sauna broke and they never fixed it. So now with everything opening back up you are the only facility that has not opened back up the sauna. The second is it would be nice to have the class schedules online actually match the class schedules at the facility. Overall great ran facility, good atmosphere with a positive vibe. I am only posting this because I know I can not be the only thinking this and just trying to help. Also don’t want to have to switch to another facility because of a simple fix. Thanks
Came back after covid to gind a bunch of missing barbells and broken pully machines. Members dont seem to care about putting weights back either. Other then that its your regular gym
Their trainers are exceptional specially Kazethe overall vibe is great and I have had nothing but good experiences. I definitely recommend them to my friends and family.
Cant beat it for $10/month. Gym is clean and has tons of equipment. Pretty busy during rush hour (as expected) but otherwise crowd is manageable. Nice to have the outdoor space as well.
Casi trainer is very dedicated at teaching his boot camp classes and is very friendly. This gym has new equipment, very clean.
Hi, now that the governor allows full capacity when will the kids center open? Lifetime fitness has the kids center open and many other places.I really loved this gym. I went twice a week for years. My kids miss it, I havent been able to go.
NO SAUNA in this gym!! Sauna has been down before the pandemic. They used the pandemic as an excuse to have it shut down even longer and its still close as of today 06/12/2021. It has been over a year since they shut it down!! When they did have it open it wouldnt last long because it was always breaking. All the other Fitness Connections been opened the Sauna room.
Staff is always super friendly and their is plenty of disinfecting bottles and hand sanitizer. Also social distancing Mandates between machines Which i love!Non judgemental atmosphere For new gym goers and seems to always be decently clean! Also you can’t beat the price compared to other luxury gyms with similar equipment!
Probably my favorite gym of all time, it’s cheap and I’ll also tell you this: it’s the same price as planet fitness but it has WAY more workout machines and free range weights and NO lunk alarm 👏. The staff is friendly and non intrusive (although that’s not an excuse to not wear a mask, please be mindful).I quite enjoy the workout out here, I see a lot of old high school friends and even some of my neighbors which makes this place feel even better imo.There’s not much else to say about this place...it’s a gym, if you’re serious about working out and building muscle without breaking the bank, then this place is the perfect spot for you.
I just started working out again, so I’m excited to continue the journey at this location. It’s a great facility and love the machines! I only wish they were open on Sundays still. :(
Good, low cost gym with free weights. However, other members often dont re-rack the weights properly.
I cancelled and they are still trying to charge me. Never signing up here again or recommending it to friends. Fraud company be aware
Ive been a gym member for a month now. The staff has always been warm and helpful. The facility is always clean and orderly. Most of all Ive noticed everyone wearing masks and most wearing gloves. So far so good! 👍
Manager was really helpful and so is staff very happy just one thing fans were on through winter now is humid and hot and fans are off dont make much sense, hope people trying to loose weight dont run out of breath and follow with a heart attack. Other than that is good just that little one thing that doesnt make sense
Do not be afraid to get out of the house and come to this location! Insanely clean with temp check and screening coming in. Also I cant brag on Andrew enough (location manager)! Met him for the first time on their opening day. He went way out of his way to get me my membership and to welcome me in. He greets me and everyone else as they come in as well as well as being one of the last faces you see when you leave. He absolutely runs this place in the best way possible. If you are looking to change gyms or join one PLEASE consider this location first!
I recently visited this gym as a guest and here are my overall impressions. I love the wide variety of Nautilus machines and how some of them incorporate free motion range. The location is clean, spacious and well kept. In addition to the workout area, theres also child care provided and a separate area for aerobics/Zumba etc. So what didnt I like? Well I visited around 10:00am and the place was crowded. Even with all the space I found myself waiting a while for the dumbbell racks to declutter. Aside from the mirror-posers and grunters, some were taking their sweet time checking their cell phones while using equipment. In all fairness Im aware its summertime and its expected to be this packed. While excersing, I was approached a few times and asked how many sets I had left. In the end I felt my routine was a bit rushed at times then stalled at other moments. I really cant imagine how crowded this gym should get after work hours. Next time I will try and visit at an earlier time and see how it goes. I have read a lot of negative reviews based on their billing experiences; since Im not a regular I cant really comment on that aspect. Overall, if you live close by and have the flexibility of visiting at different times, this location seems to be a decent alternative.
It’s a good gym, good staff, but since the sauna is closed, machines closed, and the hours cut, it’s no longer worth it in my opinion. I mean come on, it’s not even open on Sunday’s? The new hours are too short. Company must be bleeding. Thanks, but no thanks.
By far the best gym staff I’ve ever met! Always in a good mood and able to answer any questions I have. TJ always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone’s needs are taken care of.

I have cancelled my membership 2 times now and the first tine was in July and I am still getting charged. I will be reporting your company as fraudulent. I even went up there the second time and cancelled a second time. The manager said my membership was used at some random location and in order to reimburse me I had to speak to a manager at a location I’ve never been to. It’s honestly such BS. Such poor customer service. I try to call and hold for 30 minutes.It’s super shady that people can’t cancel online, I’ve tried. You shouldn’t ask for peoples bank account information. I should be able to pay with a card if I choose and I knew better than to give my bank account info to your company but still did.So so shady.
Ahlysa is one of the most professional and helpful employees I’ve ever had help me out. She answered all my questions and was very friendly. Ask for her when you go in, and she’ll be glad to help you out!
The staff is very professional especially Alayna Lyons each time I go in she greets me with a smile and answers all my questions. She lets me know of all the deals and promotions going on in the club. She is very knowledge about fitness and all of the products that is sold there. She recommends great fitness goal strategies and gives me inspiration and motivation to reach them. Highly advise this Fitness location.
Kazee is a great asset to the Katy location. He is always on time for the 5am opening, and a great trainer on the weekends. I really do appreciate his professionalism and help whenever I need him. Thank you Kazee!

Love fitness connection, I go everyday and workers are always kind. Especially Alayna, she always asks me what I’m working out and always has a compliment to give. Only thing I don’t like is the colors of the gym, but Alayna makes up for it.
Visited Fitness Connection for the first time in late May, soon after the lockdown.It was nice to see the precautions implemented at the facility upon walk-in (temp check and gloves). Upon walk-in, I met with the manager, Andrew, who helped direct me through the building; provided me with tips on how to use certain machines. Super helpful guy!The equipment and bathrooms were nice and clean, and a more than decent-sized gym to accommodate social distancing from other members.
Great location with all the equipment I could need. They also have tires outside and extra equipment. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They have been very careful with asking people to wear masks and gloves and checking temperatures when you enter. I appreciate the extra measures taken for member safety.
Went to get a membership today and found my experience to be great. Alayna the member that helped me made the sign up process very easy. Also got a tour! I was impressed by the outside turf.

Wow!! If you’re thinking about joining a gym think twice about this, location. It’s been a month since I joined and the sauna still doesn’t work the management, team is not empathetic at all! I will go out of my way to another location.
After about 7 months at this gym I am over it. Crowded, the equipment is rusty, machines are always under maintenance and the worst part is that if you lose the gym tag or it tears, they charge you the price of the membership for replacement. Cool staff, but it could be more professional. Looking to switch.... also, this isnt chick fil a. OPEN ON SUNDAYS!
I had a great experience at the facility on Mason rd. The gym is a wonderful environment to really build your body and take it to the next level. Alayna Lyons made my experience especially exceptional by by giving me the perfect supplements to top off the results of my fitness lifestyle so I highly recommend the Katy location.
The staff are great! Ahlysa is a very friendly and helpful person she helped make my gym experience better overall. As well as signing up and buying supplements process very simple.
Glad they are reopened but they are no longer open on Sundays. Will likely be canceling my membership soon because of this as my typical days were Saturday and Sunday mornings. Otherwise its a simple no frills gym. I have no problem recommending but it just doesnt work for me.

I might want my money back. We joined as a family. But the first thing they did was go over nutrition. We sat respectfully but its kind of insulting that we were not asked to have that conversation. Then we asked about training and kind of got shuffled around (like you do at car dealers). We were scheduled to come back and meet with someone else. When we came back we answered a bunch of questions and sat a desk and did math and graphs (I could have stayed at work for that). Finally got a very limited workout. Then came a sales pitch..the trainers were a separate company huddled in a little corner. Im not giving you any more money. I just want someone to show me a work out routine.. dont worry about what I eat.. (I only eat oreos and Lone Star.. satisfied). So now Im going to wander around this gym trying to figure out what to do..and call it a work out.
I have been trying to cancel my gym membership since april. They have the worst customer service.I have canceled 2x and have been charged since before covidI am at risk and have tried to cancel over the phone every month. Today I was on a queue of 60 people and it hung up on me when I was 52nd in line. This is just unbelievable. Planet fitness hopefully handles this sitution better. I have been charged 2 over draft fees in the last 5 months and had to pay for them out of pocket.
I came to the gym to cancel my membership when you guys reopened after the COVID shutdown (May). Turns out you didnt cancel my membership and I kept getting billed. I didnt even notice until August. Turns out you billed me June, July, and August. I get a hold of the manager. He says he will cancel it personally, reverse the August charge, and make sure Im not billed again. Guess what...BILLED AGAIN. Membership still not canceled. I dont even live in Katy anymore. The fact Im still calling you guys 4 months after I went in to cancel is disgraceful. If your goal is to get sued, keep it up. I know Im not the only one this has happened to.
The staff is not implementing the full hand gloves. They stay in the front and don’t walk around to make sure the rule is enforced. There are plenty of people without gloves or even the traditional gloves. They should be making sure everyone is following their new policy.
Best gym in Katy no doubt. Clean weights, nice equipment, friendly staff and it’s a spacious gym. For 10$ a month. Oh and they’re 24 hours. Cant find a better deal anywhere else. I’ve been here for almost 2 years now and it’s worth it. Thanks!

Alayna Lyons has gone out of her way to speak to me wether it was to simply tell me toHave a good workout and even ask how my day is going! Not many people talk to me in the gym so I appreciated it a lot!!Update I would like to point out that Ty Young is doing an amazing job at this location she is going above and beyond her duties to make each guest feel welcomed and making sure we follow safety procedures during this Covid pandemic!!

This is the cleanest gym for a cheap price I’ve ever been to ! Andrew the Mgr was very helpful and on point with helping me figure out what I needed for my post work outs ! I’m in love with the group fitness classes!!! I’ve officially been spoiled as a customer 🥰Everybody need to come here especially if there wanting a clean environment to avoid being exposed to the covid 19. I was scared to come to the gym but the cleaning they do through out the day makes me feel safe too .

Visiting this place for the first time after the shutdown. It was really strange to see every other machine out of service. The gym requires you to wear gloves which is silly in my opinion. But more power to them.
Wanted to go to the gym today but it was close due to weather because of “hurricane Laura” & I live 25 min away which isn’t around the corner, would of been nice to get an email or notification from fb that they would be closing. That’s poor communication & unacceptable.
Very friend staff at this location. Alayna is one of the workers that work at the front desk. She greets you when you walk in and even ask question about your workout.

I have been a member for the last 7 months. Today my wife forgot her card but presented her drivers license. A new policy has been put in place that you must buy a new card and a drivers license will not work.I thought a manager could help so I asked for one (Tyrone sales manager). Waited 15 minutes and he finally came to the front, but would not speak to me. I was able to get his attention but all he could say was it is policy. I asked since when and was informed by an employee it was new.Policies such as unloading weight, clean bathrooms, equipment that is not down are not followed. Now a brand new policy with no notice is law. There was no waiver, no sorry for your inconvenience...nothing.I strongly warn against a membership here. Customers are not the focus.

Nice exercise equipment, but always busy, except early mornings.
Andrew was very helpful, he worked with me at my pace and recommended supplements that would help me reach my health goals. I will be referring all my friends to the location to see Andrew.

Good place to exercise, has good social distance workouts.
My friend was in that gym for 3 years with the VIP membership... they delete that membership and they start complaining cause he still have it.. they stop charging the monthly payments from his card and they put him in a credit company to charge him 259 dollars in fees they didnt send any warning or advice and stay quiet. Good you finally take that membership out from him he pay the 259. I do not have that membership but you gonna receive my 30 days in advance notice for leaving.. me and 3 more for sure I will tried to take all people out of that gym.
Great place friendly members and staff. Clean energetic environment. My kids love it they have fun while I work out. Couldnt ask for a better gym.
Best part about fitness connection is the membership fees, $10down, $10 to start. There is always room to work on a machine, no wait times. Beautifully setup and colorful. This location has an outdoor, cover-shed area for calisthenics and other workout activities. Just the best!
