I had guests that had come from out of state and were requesting that we clean my apartment a bit as they were staying with me for about a week. I called around a few cleaning companies in the area and only Two Maids and a Mop was the only one that was able to come within such short notice.The owner, Barbara, was very quick in responding and sent me information about the company right away and what services could be provided, which were to my satisfaction.The cleaners had professional cleaning supplies and were very thorough and meticulous in their cleaning. They cleaned all the rooms, plus the countertops and refrigerator in the kitchen within a few hours. Everything was sparking clean after they were done, apartment looked brand new like the day I first moved in!Their rates and services are competitive with other cleaners in the Houston, TX area, so I would definitely recommend them to anyone! I will definitely use them again!

My wife is undergoing chemotherapy and wanted the place deep cleaned during her first round. We were promised that both maids would wear shoe covers the entire time, masks and gloves. In addition, we left a note on the door with those requirements. When I came by to check on how things were going, I discovered that one was not fully wearing a mask and neither had shoe covers on. If this is their extra cautious service for a patient with little to no immune system undergoing cancer treatment, I shudder to think what their casual service would entail. The manager was very nice and took care of me, and I have no doubt that she did her part to try to relay the importance of the protective gear, but we just cant risk using a company again that clearly has a communication breakdown between management and staff.

Mary cleans my house and I’ve been satisfied with the results. She is always on time, does a thorough job and wears a mask the entire time she cleans. Also, I have communicated on several occasions with Barbara, the owner, and she is just awesome to help with rescheduling and any other requests I’ve had. Best service around.

Routinely the service we receive from Two Maids is exemplary. The house is not only clean, but the details always receive attention. My house is set back the way I left it and this is the only service I have used where this is the case.My attending service partner, Mary is timely...usually early...reliable, organized, and pleasant. Her hard work is evident in each task completed.

Update: Second clean was good but I was in the house. Third clean was subpar and not satisfactory bc I was at work while it happened. Overall, seems like a friendly company that is trying to do a good job. I appreciate them communicating with me when my cleaning will happen etc. Cant say its been a fabulous experience, but they are polite and professional when you contact customer support.Im hoping I will have an update experience I can share from my next clean. I didnt have a good experience like I thought I would, but I am still willing to try them again because maybe it was a bad first impression!Good: lady I spoke to was nice and not rude which is always nice as the customer. Her politeness to me is why I want to try 2 maids again. I think my maid also did a good job on the clean as was expected...She noted that we would have to clean the fridge ourselves as this wasnt a listed service... No problem for us.Bad: My husband was watching our sick baby and running over to open the door for the maid. He was expecting it to be fast or relatively... He had a sick baby in the car seat waiting to go home. The maid called him at the appropriate time to open the gate (on time). However, 20 minutes passed and she was still nowhere to be seen. I believe around 30 minutes she showed up at the apt location. My husband let her in and asked her to let us know when she was finished. I had texted the company when my husband told me that he was waiting for a long time for the maid. I was in the middle of a meeting at work. About that time, she showed up and so I thought everything would be ok. I received another call from the company about 30 minutes later, that another woman was going to assist her and see if she had been able to start cleaning. This didnt make much sense to me, but I appreciated that they were being thorough. I asked her very pointedly to please text me when they were done as I was in meetings and would alert my husband so he could lock the door... I received 2-3 missed calls and then was able to pick up. The lady told me they were trying to call me. The maid had texted me as requested. This annoyed me a little bit because I told her that I wouldnt be able to pick up and they needed to text. Finally, I told her I would text her the new address of the location we would be moving to (the next scheduled clean) and she never responded to me. I asked her if there was a different way I should submit that information and she told me texting was fine... Just a lot of bad miscommunication that didnt seem professional. I hope this was a bad first experience, and I can change this review later.
