Very disrespectful. Iam trying to recover from covid pneumonia was hospitalized for 2 months. Was approved threw the state. Almost lost my life. To have them call and say they run things the state has nothing to do with it. When theyre a state approved in home care facility. That they do it their own way and I have to wait another week or so until Tyrese calls I just have to wait for help. Also per representative of the state who makes approvals. I have to wait for their supervisor Tyrese to see me and make a determination. When I cant get around. I cant do simple things I was able to do. The lady that called me, was inconsiderate, rude, disrespectful, and thoroughly confused herself not having the info that the state sent to her as well as other things. Very disorganized and dont care about you as a person as I tried to ask question, yet couldnt get a word in edgewise. STAY CLEAR OF THEM. They may have been good in the past. Not anymore. They need audited and be removed from the list of providers for the state. The state should have more and better oversight. Remove them plz.

This establishment is EXTREMELY unprofessional. Mr. Bibbs stated that he would complete work on my grandmothers house; as well as, McKenna (social worker). We called and emailed them both several times pertaining to when they will begin working & no one returned our calls. A month later we still hadn’t heard anything from them. We called again for McKenna to say, “we decided against doing this.” No one reached out to us, nor felt an OUNCE of regard for us or our loved one. Please, find another organization to assist with your loved one, they will not care.

I would not recommend this place. Really is sad how they advertise on tv to help people with disabilities and they never return phone calls. I have called several times over the last week about my sister in-law that suffers from cerebral palsy and trying to find out some information and they never called me back just kept sending me to voicemail. Someone else from the family tried to call them also for her and they never returned that call either.

I called The Whole Person to get set up with services for my Mom who was bed bound due to cancer. From the start I let them know this was a time sensitive issue. They drug their feet for over a month to even get back to me. Finally when they did get everything set up (FIVE weeks later) they called me a week after my mom passed away to let me know I was approved to care for her. This wouldnt have upset me so much except I received a notification from the FCSR over a week prior to this clearing me to work. DO NOT utilize this company unless you are not needing services for a few months.

If I could give no stars I would The Kansas City Kansas office and Mr.leon are crooks pay attention to your check subs people, the hrs I work and input into the system are not the hrs that are reported on my checks as well as to the irs I was claiming 3 on my w4 for state and federal there, was no money taken out for federal at all and only 29.00 dollars taken out for state it’s not adding up and corporate has been contacted this place is ripping off people who are working with the disabled I would highly suggest another company for your loved ones

If you can get help through this place then you can get your helper paid a lot more money per hour. I hate Nancy the gatekeeper who decides who they help. They did help me for years. After my mom passed i took a break. Nancy went above and beyond to prevent them from helping me. The Whole Person dont pay what others pay. They are not the only way to get help. If u need help then you need to get ur helper paid properly.

I recently registered with Whole Person. Being from out of state it took a bit longer for background check to clear and I had some unanswered questions. Went to the office and the staff was most helpful, they even copied time sheet for me. Thank you front office personal you guys are awesome 💙 I appreciate your service.

Hi there, I went to The Whole Person on Thursday afternoon at 1:00pm and I really enjoyed going to their meeting with me about my TBI... I gave them my email address yesterday afternoon and so I received a new email from the leader of the Assisted Physical Sports coordinator after I got back from The Whole Person. Everything that I asked him about, he was able to answer any questions that I had asked of him in the meeting that I had asked of him Thursday afternoon at 1:00pm or he was able to answer my question in the email that he was able to send to me after I got back from my meeting with the male representative of The Whole Person on Main Street in Kansas City. Im very happy that I went to the Whole Person yesterday afternoon!!!

Didnt accuse me of asking for free money. Man on the phone told me I should get set up with medicade to help with access to their programs and that vocational rehabilitation would help if I needed job assistance. I called and Im leaving a 5 star rating because I can appreciate when people can at least answer their phones with some sense because there are organizations that are supposed to be helping the community, but they hire workers who try to take advantage of the disabled and talk to us so rude. Sad that the most miniscule acts of compassion have to be appreciated.

Went there for an ALS community class. The assistant who was in the class was fine but the teacher, was not so great. Registered for the class and made it known of my visual problems which is why I sat up front. The last class I went to, they reserved most of the seats for those of hearing problems or they had implants who already used sign. One woman bragged that she had been in the class two other periods in the last few years. She expected everyone to cater to he regardless of everyone else in the class. Applied for a position with them in payroll and was denied because they could only pay $10-11 an hour when I asked between $13-15. They talk a lot of game but they arent as great as they claim for wanting those with disability to live independent lives considering I am disabled.
