Try to track my package through this trucking company and was on hold for 58 minutes then transferred again for 36 minutes was transferred to a manager by the name of David out of Warren Michigan it was absolutely one of the rudest humans I’ve ever talk to, by the time that I was on hold for over 1 1/2 hours the terminal had closed here in the Midwest and he said sorry can’t do anything about it you’ll just have to pick it up tomorrow, they could care less their service is horrible they don’t care.We will never use their services again and all customers please beware this company will not help you in anyway nothing like any other transport companies we have ever used.You will see their true colors when you try to call customer service no one will answer the phone you will have extended like wait times of over an hour and when they finally come on the phone they say We’re shorthanded “”no one wants to work “Very unprofessional
Good luck getting ahold of anyone regarding a missing shipment. Hours on hold, no reply to emails, broker cant reach them either.
Terrible Company. My freight has been sitting in this warehouse for 10 DAYS. Absolutely unacceptable. Takes 30-45 minutes to get customer service on the phone who offer nothing but lip service. I have never been so poorly treated by a company in my life.Cost me a good customer. Thanks.
Don’t waste your time using this company. They will deliver half your shipment. Lose the other half then make you wait 10 business days to file a claim. When you file a claim you get zero response on how long the process will take. They take zero accountability for the lack of organization with in the ware houses and show zero sympathy for losing peoples stuff. Pretty sad they are as large as they are, but with the reviews you read on here not sure why people use them to ship other peoples goods.
My package has been sitting 4 hours from Omaha in Kansas City and for the past several days the delivery date keeps getting pushed back. I was told yesterday it was on a truck to be delivered today and I was told they had staffing issues. I was told deliveries are fist come first serve. Today I see my delivery has been pushed back past the weekend and into next week. Customer service takes forever to respond and everything with this business is done at a corporate level. I can not contact the terminal in Kansas to pick up my item.
I just started working with this company about a month over at Laredo, Texas terminal, had to get flied out to KANSAS terminal due to them being low on staffing. I was expecting a much more professional and cleaner environment than the terminal Im originally from (LTX), worked for 2 weeks in Kansas and unfortunately its a very messed up terminal, there’s no procedure, managers supervisors don’t care whatsoever (Jimmy) (Ryan) they see broken pallets and just walk pass by them. Not even a week in and I wanted to go back to my terminal already. I say shut down Kansas terminal !
If you have a choice, DO NOT SHIP WITH CENTRAL! In my 20 years at my job, this is by far the worst truck line Ive had to work with. They miss pick-ups and Customer Service is one of the worst (almost all of them sound like they hate their job). On one occasion I was told the driver was on his way and when I call back 1 1/2 later they tell me the driver couldnt come because he would have gone in overtime. Another time they tell me there is a driver assigned but not sure of ETA, I call 1 hour after our closing time to be told the dispatcher went home. Unfortunately I have to use them because of the collect customer who insists of shipping with them. But here I am, frustrated because I should have gone home 1 hour ago and instead Im waiting for Central (which will probably never show up) and writing angry reviews.And from reading the other reviews, it looks like they got their 3 stars from having employees and/or their family members give a 5 star review. I dont think they would make it past 1, maybe 2 stars.
My experience wasnot good at all.I set up four delivery times and dates and still have not received my delivery. My shipment have been at their dock for over 13 days.
Very busy place. They load my trucks over night and tucked my load bars. So watch
Terrible customer service! Shipments DO NOT get delivered when they are scheduled to. Not on the first time or second time!! You will get LOST on hold if you try to call in and the webpage page just lies about delivery dates!!If there was a NEGATIVE star for rating - I would have chosen thatI would NOT use this company again!!
Central Transport truly cares about helping me accomplish my delivery goals. Drivers are always friendly and have a positive work attitude.
I did drive for this company for a while I never recommend anybody drive for this company, one of the worst experience I have with this company Very bad management, Most of their trailer junk, when you have a problem on the road takes it at least three hours somebody from road service department or linehaul results your problem, They keep lying to the driver

I have worked for Central Transport for about a month. It has been a good experience so far. Newer tractors, very nice terminal, and good pay! I would definitely recommend joining the Central team.
Couldnt complete a shipment from Springfield Mo to kc Mo in less then a week had to call the company that shipped it and change it into a will call and go pick it up. cause they couldnt get a truck from kck to Raytown two days after the shipment was supposed to arrive. got told they didnt get the trailer unloaded in time then got told they didnt have a truck going to my area Im 4 blocks off 435 and less then a half mile from i70 how are you a delivery company and you dont have a truck running in my part of town. will never recommend this company to anyone and they have the worst call center I have ever dealt with.

Big sign out front, help wanted forklift & dock workers needed. Put in application, I was told to sit & wait to talk to someone. Sat for almost an hour then told that it had to go to corporate. Never got a call back or interview. I called & they said no thanks. Ive been driving forklifts for decades, dock worker for years. Talked to someone who works there & they said they have a hard time keeping people. Told they do not treat their employees very well. I guess Im glad I didnt get call back. Very dirty place with very old equipment. No wonder it has such a high turn over rate. Corporate only cares about profit not employees. Quite sad.
My 2 sons are employed here and the business is great!

They call and set up appointment for you to be there when you shipment arrives then they dont show up and you call and they reschedule for next day and they dont show up again. They then want to reschedule for the following week like you dont have a job to be at and so you have to jump through hoops to get it set up at will call so you have to pick it up yourself. I would not recommend this company to anyone to use.
I hope to never be forced to do business with this company ever again.Unprofessional, Non-Responsive and unable to reach anyone at the local phone number, along with lengthy delays at the corporate number.

I applied at Central Transport for a Home Daily Line Haul position. I filled out an application in person at the terminal. I had an interview with the terminal manager and recruiter that same day. The whole process only took a couple of days before I was offered the position.
They be faking. Called me three times for a interview I finally go and they decided they wanted another candidate why keep calling my phone
Not reliable. Set up a pick-up and then they dont show up. Claim they have no knowledge regarding shipment.

If there is is a rating less than 1 star I would have picked it. This company sucks, they do not answer the phone, unprofessional and they do not care about thing. I do not know how they stay in business. I would never use them or recommend them to any one.

Class act... they always manage to damage my freight, claims are a nightmare to get resolved... their trailer last week had a huge hole in the floor where I could see my concrete of my dock through it clear as day, they always redim and reclass my freight incorrectly... then I get a driver yesterday who does this!ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?

They picked up a crate for what was supposed to be 3 day “estimated” shipping and have had it for an entire month sitting 5 miles away from the destination but refuse to deliver it and refuse to let us pick it up. Worst shipment company ever if this had been BEFORE the event rather than coming home from an event I would’ve lost my job. Thankfully I’ve just had to rent a new piece of equipment for a month to cover their negligence. 0/5 stars*update*Finally got my crate back. Showed up to their office after arranging for will call because it had become too ridiculous waiting indefinitely for my property to be returned. They “couldn’t find” my crate for an hour and when they did it had been utterly destroyed. The bottom torn off completely and a forklift driven into the side leaving giant holes and splintered wood everywhere. Also they take forever to answer their phone. Avoid at all costs for business and personal reasons

Call in the morning for a pick up tell them our close time then they never show up, then call them to see where they are at never answer phone this happen every time I have to use them.
Hated dispatch and terminal manager. But bother are no long working here.
Miss pickups every single week. Takes at least 30 minutes to an hour on hold just to talk to someone who gives the same excuses every week. Terrible company.

I started working at central on September 16 and didn’t get paid what I worked, Martha the terminal manager and your assistant mike did not write down the hours I had worked not only that today when I went to work their was no paycheck for today. I asked both if I would get paid today and they told me I’ll have to till next week and the missed hours that mike didn’t write down I’ll see that money in two weeks, I then quit that happened today no pay check at all, waiting two weeks backlogged to get to work and no paycheck at all . do not work at this company I have no money I’m in trouble
