WORST experience Ive ever had with any company offering a free estimate. I was told they would take measurements, give us some info and a quote, and it would take 30 min to an hour. It took 45 mins for measurements alone and then she told us she had a 60 to 90 min presentation and REFUSED to give us a price. We told her we had plans and have a busy schedule so we did not want to reschedule the visit and just wanted the quote. She asked if we were not motivated buyers at this critical point in our our water control. She then called her boss to tell him we had a time crunch and did not want to reschedule and the boss even told her to just walk away and refused to give us the quote. We were also promised a 25$ gift card to Lowes which they backed out of. Cannot believe that even the higher ups at this company are so disrespectful to withhold the free quote. HORRIBLE customer service and RUDE as could be when she found out we were not buying this instant. DO NOT recommend. Will NEVER reconsider this company.
Jordan came out early, looked things over, took pictures and shows us what was going on with our gutters. I knew we had some problems but it was a little more serious than I could see from the ground. The price was a little more than I thought but after seeing the damage I believe the price was right in line with what I have seen. The people that think you can get a good gutter system that keeps out leaves for a low price is sadly mistaken. This is your home so you need to protect it to its fullest. From what I have seen from the other company products, this beats them all. More durable and just a cover over cheap gutters. Life time warreny is perfect since I plan on being here for a long time to come!! Check them out, if you value your home it will be well worth the cost!!!
Severely overpriced! 99 install sure but they wanted 15K for the gutters - and my house isnt that big either! Their product might be really good, but its NOT worth 15 thousand! Then I had to call a couple weeks later about the free restaurant gift card. The guy that called me back was very cold sounding to me since I didnt buy their product. A couple weeks after that I got the gift card via email - and its not a normal gift card - it only works on about 15 local places, some Ive never heard of.
Jordan was a great salesman. He was polite, professional, and knew his product. Great about giving good information but not too pushy, had a great time with him. I would highly recommend Jordan and leaf guard.
We really are interested in the service, and we will be getting Leafguard at some point in the future. Jordan is amazing and great at his job, he will be hearing from us very soon. Thanks for the wonderful presentation.
I LOVE my Leafguard gutters!!! My sales representative Jill was amazing! She fully educated me about the differences between all the products out there, Leafguard really is the best gutter system out there!!! Ive had them since Oct 2020 and they are working exactly as they should. I got the drain defenders and there hasnt been any debris collecting in them. Its great not having to get on the ladder anymore to clean out the gutters!! Thanks Leafguard!!!
Jordan was very friendly, informative & easy to understand. Also polite & enjoyed talking with him. Great company. Looking forward to my new LeafGuard system!
Good home investment.
First, I want to relate the cons so they are out of the way. Weve had gutter issues since weve owned the house. Weve looked into replacing the gutters ourselves, as were not afraid of house repairs or anything. We priced larger gutters than we have, evaluated the time and effort to do everything, then thought about what to do with the old gutters. All-and-all, we thought it would cost about $3-3500. Expensive, but doable. Then we saw the ads for LeafGuard Gutters (LGG).There are many trees in our neighborhood, and the major problem we have are the gutters were small and easily clogged, causing many issues. The LGG commercials offered perks (Amazon cards, free quotes, etc), so we thought, why not at least try them. So we had them come out to evaluate our home. From that, our salesman examined our house, the gutters, etc, which took almost 3 hours. We went inside to discuss everything, and this is where the bad news hit. It felt like a semi-high-pressure sales pitch. Not like we couldnt say no or anything, but a little pushy/over-selling.We knew our gutters were small and that we needed more downspouts. He also explained our roof construction hung-over our gutters a bit, so they would also need to add an extra backing board to push the gutters out to be effective. Then came the all the sales pitches. We could add extra flashing to the backing, yadda yadda, and we went with the full package to see the final amount and go from there. $26,000! Yes, $26,000 to replace gutters (and we by no means live in a mansion or anything!). We thought this was ridiculous! So, we started talking more and more on the price, what we didnt need, what features could be excluded, etc. Two days of going back and forth, and we got the price down to $12,000. This was still WAY more than we had planned, especially for gutters. So, we were given some time to discuss between ourselves, and would call back with our final decision. We went through our options, thought about doing it ourselves again, finding another company, and so on. Eventually, we decided to go with LGG. We were still hesitant, but the things that brought us to this decision: 1) There is a lifetime guarantee, 2) Gutters came in the exact color we wanted at no extra cost, 3) The gutters are seamless (if we did it ourselves, this was not an option), 4) The gutters are one piece, so less likely to leak or drip behind, 5) Someone else was doing the work, 6) The work was done in one day, 7) They took away our old gutters, 8) Im sure other things, but not remembering them, and those were the major ones.Overall, the experience was good. Outside of the sticker-shock of the price, my only real complaint is that the backing board they installed was obviously pieced together (not their fault, as our the large sides of our house are large, and boards that long just do not exist), but they didnt seal the seams in between the breaks. So the seams are not smooth, and we will need to figure a way to disguise the separations. Conclusion: I believe LeafGuard Guttering is a great product. Weve had several rains since they were installed, and absolutely no problem with them so far. They look great, they function great, and I believe these added value to our house and will be functioning well after the possibility of us moving. The major downside is the price. Be prepared to be in shock, as these gutters are the cost of a small car. So, you must evaluate the upfront fee compared to the overall value they can bring.
The salesman was very considerate. New his product. Explained everything very well. Product seems to be a very good
Great quality of materials & fast, clean, professional install. A little pricey but fair.
Received excellent and prompt customer service when I was looking into gutter solutions for my new home. The team was helpful and made sure to offer solutions that were custom to me and my priorities.
Jerry scheduled my installation and it was on time and done right. The installers were professional, courteous, and efficient. Overall price was definitely more expensive than traditional gutters, but with their excellent guarantee, I will recoup the cost of hiring someone to clean gutters in 5 years. Very satisfied!
Very professional and impressive work. All my questions were answered and even some concerns I never considered were addressed. Im very pleased with the outcome!
Did Amazing Job, well worth the Money the 2 that installed my leafguard gutters are the nicest people to have at your Home to do the work.
I worked with Nick out of Kansas city.Honest and hard worker guy and he was able to explain anything very well.Im looking forward to getting my new gutters installed.
They were supposed to call to set up an appt. but instead just showed up. Then told us that they had to come in and talk to us about what measurements, cost etc. (Sales pitch) and we werent told that and didnt want them in our house. They were rude and tried forcing the issue 3 times before they got the hint. Will use a different company!
Ian is very professional, very thorough explaining everything and very patient answering all of my questions that he got our business the same day I met him.
Nick was super friendly, personable, and took the time to explain the product and answer our questions.
Nick was very professional, thorough, and made sure we were taken care of. Plus, its a family-owned company, which is great!
Nick showed up on time and set us up for installation the following week. Looking forward to no longer having standing water in my gutters.
Refused to give a written quote.
Based on what Im now reading, I should have done more research. I relied on their national endorsements which was a big mistake. the product has not solved my issue of overflow and they have not responded to my numerous calls. Their marketing pitch was like a used car sale. The more i protested, the lower the price became. Although I saw a TV commercial for a $50.00 dinner card for an in-home estimate and $99 install, i recieved neither of those. I am going to call an investigator at a local TV station hoping to save another unsuspecting consumer from their scam.
Very prompt, polite and professional. Nick goes the extra mile.
Promised $100 coupons never sent called twice
REFUSED TO GIVE A WRITTEN QUOTE
Had an appointment with them last week and noone showed up. Called and set a new appointment once again noone showed up. Got a call and said I wasnt put on the schedule.
Terrible company decent product half of the google reviews that are good are from sales reps also have terrible management
Gimic. Poor execution doesnt wrk
Scam..They claimed my neighbors recommended them to me. None of my neighbors have this product installed.
They were very rude to me
You can’t reach the local office anymore. Now they charge to come back and clean the gutters with the new ownership.
Amazing!
