They Lost my Shipment. They never contacted me about it. I had to contact them. They lost a whole palate of flooring; six weeks after it hit their docks they are still Looking for it. Cant find it. Had no intention of telling me.
Dispatch was so very pleasant. Hostler was a true gem. I truly appreciate these guys.#Amazon
Live chat dosent work on web site, cant talk to local terminal directly, 25 minute wait times to talk to customer service, cannot schedule a delivery without going thru multiple people. Terrible business model for a freight service.
Held pallet at kcmo terminal for 8 days. Was told it would be delivered hot shot next day over and over for a week. If it doesnt arrive tmrw, thats fine Ill bill you for the property you are stealing and re order with another carrier.
I love yellow freight my dad retired from there and he loved yellow and the teamsters LoL its a great place use them please 😉😉☺️☺️
Shipment was supposed to be delivered in 2-3 business days. It has now been 13 days and still have not received my shipment. For the last 7 days I have been told it will be delivered the next day. I understand with everything going on that some deliveries will be delayed, but 13 days is excessive. No other trucking company that we have used lately has been this delayed. I will never use this company again.
Worst of the worst. They receive our shipments and hold them for 7+ days. Last pallet they received got in friday it’s now next Wednesday and they shipped the pallet to Topeka. We are in GRAIN VALLY MISSOURI. if you’re in the kc metro ask for R&L
Good place to work.
Shipment is stuck in KCMO ready to be delivered. Have made two appointments for delivery and have not showed either time. Had to call them to see what was going on and still in limbo... Would not recommend anyone to use them for shipments.
Worst freight company ever, my shipment has been on a trailer in their yard in Kansas City for a week... until it is offloaded I cant even come get it. It is just stuck there in limbo. Customer support is rude about it with no resolve.
Well you guys are the best ...hubbys been working for you guys along time ...thanks for keeping him working g and for taking care of him
Easy in and out
Waiting 13 hours to get the load….and counting
Big facility. There was a long wait time for load!!
Shipment was sitting on the dock a week in KCMO, but said it was stuck in Denver. Also, not a single person wearing a mask inside the building
Delivered a load here. Im an owner operator. While unloading i adjusted one of my brakes. They told me i wasnt allowed to touch my truck since it was a union shop. I told them it was my truck and Ill do what i want. Then 4 guys who were dressed like they had no business being in a shop showed up and watched me like i was a terrorist. I threw a couple zip ties on a wire harness and checked my oil for good measure. Then they lost their minds some guy came up and yelled at me, and wrote down all my dot info. Plenty of people there, never actually saw anyone working. I might get jimmy hoffad later well see.
The drivers there are the best
Awesome freight delivery company.
Nice
Nice people and got my order to the terminal earlier than I expected. Kool
Long wait just to get the gate open, and to get unloaded
Its appears to have everything in place from employees, to management. This company is union base so therefore people dont just have a job but a long lasting career.
Fabulas Company. Our company DRAGNET is keeping this Company a Safe and Drug Free Work Place as required by all Companies.
Great people
Good union place to work. Good co workers, good equipment and chances to advance yourself
Not too crowded
This is a great place to work I love it
Picked up a bar cart shipped here from EBAY seller. Easy to locate and the process went smooth and easy. Everyone there we encountered were friendly, helpful and professional. I would do business with them again !
If it were possible to give less than one star I would. This was the most unprofessional company that I have ever dealt with. After charging in excess of $468 to ship a table and 5 barstools, the dispatch called my house to ask if they could get a truck in and out of my driveway - considering that I am not a professional rig driver - it is not part of my knowledge base to determine if they could get a truck in and out without damage. I had two dispatch people yell at me about how they did not want to damage their truck. They asked me if I knew someone with a truck who could meet them - in my opinion after collecting almost $500 to make a home delivery they should provide the service instead of requesting that I do so for them. Most freight companies have a shuttle truck to meet them in the condition that the larger truck can not maneuver in urban or residential areas. The delivery seemed to have occur smoothly until I received a statement proclaiming that my invoice was past due - I never received an invoice as I had paid the retailer for the shipping at the time of original purchase. When I called to inquire as to what bill was past due I was informed that considering that I had received an inside delivery I owed an additional $45. The driver never set foot in my home, he did offer to take away the palette and boxes which he did not unpack but waited for me to unpack myself. He did not touch the furniture whatsoever but did remove packing materials at the time. He did not mention that there would be an extra charge for this removal whatsoever and he did not come inside my home nor lift furniture. The account receivables contact threatened to report me to Dunn and Bradstreet for refusing to pay a bill for which I never received an explanation of charges and also never consented to being charged. She offered to note that I preferred never to receive deliveries from YRC again to which I wholeheartedly agreed. Threatening to report my business to D&B when this is a purely private matter having a personal purchase from a boutique delivered to my residence is entirely uncalled for.The drivers should be trained to explain to customers that there will be a charge for any additional services which never presented as additionalDo not let these people in your driveway unless you are willing to be blindsided later by a bill you didnt consent to or unless you have a friend with a truck who can complete the delivery.I would not purchase anything from anyone who uses this freight company ever again.
Customer service has been polite and friendly. However, YRC tracking is not great. Called the local YRC, Friday, and was told my package had arrived to the lot, but wasnt checked in. Was told it might be possible to pick up on the weekend (if the item was checked in) as they are open 24/7. Wrong. They are closed on weekends - maybe thats why the phone has had a busy signal all morning. I called the national customer service number today (Sunday), and they say the package has not yet arrived to my local YRC yard. The online tracking is just as poor. Gives very little discernable usable information. Customers shouldnt have to look at online tracking, call local and national customer service, and still have no definitive idea where their package is or when it can be picked up.
Good place to work!
Was suppose to have a bed delivered on Monday Nov. 7th. Its now Thursday Nov 10th. The shipper told me YRC would give me a call the day before to setup a delivery time. YRC never called me. Tuesday I found out that somehow the delivery address was incorrect even though I verified that it was correct, Ive been at this address for over 20 years. They didnt bother to call me about the bad address. The shipper then told me they would give me a call on Wednesday to setup a delivery time, they never called. Thursday comes around and I call YRC myself and the person that answers the phone says Yeah? How unprofessional is that? I get transferred to dispatch, I gave her the tracking number and she was able to pull up my information but she said she had to call me back because their system went down earlier and needed 5 minutes to reboot and would call me back in about 5 minutes. 1 hour later they called me back and said it should be delivered by 1pm today. Its only 9:30am right now so Im praying for the best. Worst delivery experience Ive had.
Love this place
Like moving loads for them they get you in an out
So last night at about 8:30 p.m. I was Trucking down I-49 in between Joplin and Harrisonville when a yrc driver hauling tripples noticed that one of my trailer tires was flat and starting to smoke about to catch on fire, he flagged me down and then I noticed it so i pulled over and he pulled over just to make sure I was alright and had help on the way. I really appreciate that because not a lot of drivers are like that so now I know the best work for Yellow Freight, Im probably going to try to apply there soon just because of that. I wish I knew the guys name so i could thank him again for saving my trailer from catching on fire.
Good place to work... Very stable... Good people... Chance to get ahead
A great shipping company.
No problem on getting in and out quick, employees real helpful to.
YRC is just another (Job, Just Over Broke).
I have had good success working with this company. I can go to the terminal a drop off a shipment or receive a shipment with fast, professional, and courteous service.
Great service friendly staff.
Friendliest staff youll ever meet...If you are with their Union.
Worthless delivery company. Called me at 7:57 to schedule delivery of product. I called back at 8:06 and they failed to answer. They failed to return call. I called again at 8:35 and was told they could not deliver a package today that they scheduled, because the driver removed it from the truck. Dont plan on these people being responsible or able to deliver a package when they say they can.
Jill a lot of people do not understand but I can explain how a freight company works in the ltl business they do not and it is not the drivers job to unpack or set up anything your order his job is to get the freight from the terminal to the customer and so forth from customers back to the terminal to ship down the road to its destination a lot of people does not understand the concept of the freight business and tech the drivers responsible for getting the freight to the tail of the trailer and the customer figures out the rest and as far as calling to find out what kind of neighborhood you live in can dictate what size trailer they put the freight on for residential delivery or in that matter utlize the box truck if needed its not hard to say yes there are a bunch of cars parked along side low trees so if you want to bring in a big big truck enter at your own risk simple as that these LTL freight companies are not UPS and FEDEX they haul large freight thats what they specialize in Thanks and have a good day
My husband shipped 17 boxes from Colorado to Chicago last month. Only 11 of the 17 boxes showed up and we were told too bad, the rest are lost. After calling around I finally found a local office in Chicago that had the 6 boxes tucked in the back of a shipping container. Eventually they were sent to us (after calling at least 2 more times to schedule the drop off). Two of the boxes were full of pottery my husband had made in college and they were FLATTENED. Everything inside was crushed practically to powder and I was told over the phone that even if I file a claim, because they were household goods I wont get any money.Do NOT use this company for shipping anything that you want to see again!
Good people.
I deal with freight companies all day long. YRC is by far the worst freight company on the planet. Delivery estimates are never correct and their customer service tells you one thing and does another. Overall terrible company. I would give them zero stars, but it wont let me.
This carrier so bad, always is overcharging people and can never ever stand by their words. I just had a guaranteed shipment, where I paid extra to deliver in two days, they ran the lane in two days, they failed at the delivery it got their in 3 days, they said they would eat the charges, they kept on telling me that, then they never did and are trying to say the bill is valid, they are crooks, do not use this carrier, your freight will delayed and your bills higher.
I should be through YRC freight and they always get their stuff
On time service workers are very polite
A great company full of friendly helpful people
Nice staff clean building.
They did an awesome job delivering my order.
I do not support companies who support and gives jobs to people who falsely claim to be a Navy SEAL. They hire people who steal valor vs actual veterans
Above average service, professional and legit.
First time there roaddog mumble something and exlected us the here as he drove away
