Fast friendly service at a fair price. The equipment was late model in excellent working order. Highly recommend!

Rent a trencher a few times or a couple, its been good so far. Id say the second one ran better than the first one, so its just been getting better.

I would give this place zero stars but, Google does not let you do that. I spent a bunch of money renting a diesel compressor to run a sandblaster. The first one started to overheat and would shut down until it cooled down. I called Anderson rental to let them know. They had their service guy call me. He had me check the antifreeze. It had none. He told me he could not make it out and to just add water and continue. I did as requested and within one hour the radiator cap blew off. They finally brought me a replacement compressor and it work fair. It was not up to its ability but, we were able to continue. I returned the equipment Saturday morning as my help could not work the weekend. I was there first thing Monday morning to get a compressor to finish the job. I told the guy to make sure he gave me a good one. He gave me a totally different compressor. I got it to the job site and it would start but only run about 3 minutes and turn itself off. I once again called Anderson rental. I spoke with the service guy and he said he could not fix it without his laptop. The store was to bring another replacement. Several hour later it arrived and it was the original compressor that overheated the prior week. So waiting again for them to change it out. Finally we got started at 3:00 p.m. after beginning my day dealing with Anderson rental at 8:30 a.m. We finished the job at 10:00 p.m. working with lights. So in short their equipment cost me 2 extra days labor and rental on the sandblaster and hundreds of dollars in damage to the property trying to keep the first compressor cool by parking it under a shade tree, The exhaust burnt the grass and the hose was so hot it is burnt the grass as well. This does not even take in account the wasted materials. I spoke with the manager Stacy and asked to work with me on my lost monies. She told me she would and has yet to return my email. Now she leaves me no choice but to take them to small claims court to recover my losses.

Rented equipment using the weekend special, since they were closed Monday got equipment Friday afternoon until Tuesday morning for 1 day charge! Excellent pricing and friendly staff, will be using them again!

A few days ago I reserved a dump trailer to be rented for a job. When I first called they said that they would hold the trailer for me. The price was great and fit my truck perfectly compared to other dump trailers. When I arrived the lady in the front office informed me that the trailer had been rented out to someone else and she apologized about the issue. But told me she would reach out to me when the trailer was back. It has been 7 hours since then and unfortunately I haven’t hear back from them. Due to this experience I don’t think I will be back unless they can make this right.Receiving a discount on a piece of equipment that isnt in stock and needed on that day is useless. Had the equipment not been rented out it wouldnt have been able to be returned late. My business requires that I be on time and complete the job as scheduled. I had originally thought Anderson Rental was just like this but this is apparently not the case.

The lift i used worked perfectly! It took an hour to load up and do paperwork. I ended up keeping it for a day. The cost was $229. I got my receipt, and I was charged $22.90 for a damage waiver that was probably in fine print, but not mentioned to me. $10.99 for a BS environmental fee, $24.25 for Wyandotte??? Almost $60 more than I had planned on spending. Seems to be a little sketchy the way that played out. Not happy with these charges or the attitude at the front desk when I asked about it. Customer service from inside needs some work, the guy in the yard was great! Maybe management could take some pointers from him about how to talk to a customer! Won’t be coming back.

Its cool to know that this company prides itself on renting equipment that actually works. Their equipment doesnt break or becomes defective the minute you start to use it. As a home owner in Overland Park, Ive had the opportunity to rent power washer equipment from other rental companies over the years. Those other companies equipment was not well maintained, and I had to deal with returns and replacement parts. Not fun with a 80 pound power washer. Renting from Anderson Rental gives me the piece of mind to know that what Im renting will do the job its intended to do, and work without mechanical issues. They are awesome. Delivered scaffolding and carried it to back yard for us; then when I discovered we were missing a piece I called and they brought it out the same day. Great customer service and far more reasonable prices than any other home improvement store.

Have rented equipment from Anderson for multiple projects and have had positive experiences each time. My husband I have found the staff to be helpful and their rental equipment is well maintained and in solid working order. We will continue to use Anderson as our rental source for home projects.

Horrible place to rent i was overcharged and recieved terrible customers service i got kicked out the door for asking for the owners contact info. Litteraly Un heard of i rented a dump trailer and a stump grinder and was charged 800 plus dollars for a one day rental. They actually charged me for 2 days with no prorate on time. Never have had happenn to me in history.No stars only reason there is one bc u need a star to leave a commentso definitely never use anderson rentals again. After they initially screwed me over and took my money. They have now blackballed me and red flagged my name in system so that i cant rent or they dont want me renting from them anymore... where do they do that at? Another way systems and institutions and businesses are designed against us not for or benefit, and im sure they have some sort of legal backing which makes it ok... we have right to refuse businesses to anyone BsIts Really Real out here... stay strong my people. 💪🏽GOD SPEED!

Every time I have ever rented equipment and I rent a lot from Anderson Rental they have Always been very fair with their pricing and very understanding. I have never been charged for time I didn’t use. The counter lady is very helpful and very polite. I know everyone always wants to say the bad stuff so I thought the world of google needs to know that they are unfair and not true. Ive rented here many times. All the equipment Ive ever rented worked out just fine. They check you in and out fairly quick. Good rates and you can rent Saturday morning, drop off Monday morning, and theyll only charge you for one day since theyre closed on Sundays.

My boys rented equipment at Anderson a couple months ago as they were putting in brick patios. Thank you for taking care of my boys, you have created a couple satisfied long term customers. The equipment was in excellent condition, and you could not have been more professional to work with.

Equipment didnt work. They said it was repaired but obviously didnt test it before sending it out w me. It wasnt the first time they have done me that way too.

Tried to send a customer to Anderson for equipment I did not have and the customer was treated so poorly that it brought her to tears! The manager there, Jeff howe, is absolutely horrible and has no problem disrespecting an elderly woman. There are much better places to rent equipment so I will not be sending ANYONE else that way! Crooked as the day is long. Do not rent from this place. They tell you the rental prices but when you get the equipment/machine the rental prices have changed, plus that daily rental went from 24hrs (1 day) to 8hrs ONLY and if you go over 8hrs it is considered another days rental. Then they are just free willy with your account because they do not except checks, debit/credit cards only. The reason behind this scam is so they can extract money out of your acount without notifying or getting your consent, they just take it. This place should be called Ripping Off Rental Company. They got me for over $400. Hardworking people are trying to save money and do thier projects themselves on a tight budget. Its a Kick in the Ass when the rental company rips you off and their aint nothing you can do. Stay clear of this outfit. I will never rent or say anything good about this Chicken $%!* outfit. There are numerous legitimate rental companys around that do honest work for honest folks. NEVER AGAIN!!! Do your homework and check out company first. REVIEW, REVIEW AND REVIEW!!!

I own and foundation repair company in kansas city and these guys are always there at the drop of a hat to drop off equipment and pick it up on my job sites..All of there equipment is new and operates great. I had a track slip off the excavator I rented last week and the owner scott was there within the hour to help me put it back on. I would never rent anywhere else!!!!!

They have the equipment to do a wide range of jobs, easy to work with, cheaper than any other place Ive found in the area, and they are flexible on pickup and return times.

I have always recieved polite and expert service. I have rented many things from them including, a drill bit, a power auger, an excavator/backhoe, a trencher, and a man lift from them. Yes I had a problem with an auger one time but they didnt charge me for it and provided a replacement. If you were rude to them they MIGHT be rude in return but everyone Ive delt with has always been helpful and professional. I have rented equipment from many other places and find this one to be the equal of any of them.

DO NOT RENT FROM ANDERSON!!!!!!! My experience with them was terrible- The Manager Jeff- is extremely rude on the phone/ truly lacks any professionalism. They will quote you a price over the phone- then deliver the equipment and try to get you to sign for a higher price. Their equipment is not maintained and constantly breaks down- You are paying for the time it sits when you are waiting for them to show up and fix it. Do yourself a favor and go to Fowley..

The guy doesnt know how to talk on the phone. Hang the phone when I tried to negotiate the price for 2 hour rental instead of the whole day. Wanted to kick his ass.

Rented a skid steer asked for to be delivered to my home.A time and date for established for the delivery. The equipment was to arrive at 3 PM.At 3:30 PM I telephoned to find out what was going on. I was given a sob story about how all of the drivers had quit and was asked if I still wanted the equipment. To which I replied yes I do as I have 17 tons of gravel in need of spreading. I was then informed that the driver would be on his way shortly. It arrived at 5 PM.After 20 minutes of use one of the tires lost all pressure and came off the rim. Customer service was unreachable.The skid steer was jacked up the wheel removed and taken to be repaired. Upon closer examination of the wheels it was determined that a previous cut that had failed to penetrate fully had burst. It must be noted at this time that the tires were all but devoid of tread.When I called to speak with Anderson rental about this problem the next day, the customer service I received was unprofessional and uncooperative. The simple fact that I lost five hours of daylight because they were unprofessional and poorly maintained their equipment was completely lost on this clueless person I was speaking with.Lesson learned never again will I rent here.

Do not rent from Anderson!!! They delivered an excavator to my house, and it broke ten minutes after I started using it. They charged me $260.00 which is their half day rate. The guy on the phone was extremely rude about it, and refused to refund my money. Beware!!!

Should have learned my lesson last year. This is the second year in a row we have reserved equipment, only to go pick it up and it is not available. We have emails from them confirming it would be available and once again they rented it to someone else.

I rented a Verticutter from Anderson and when I got it home, the blades were so worn out that they wouldnt even make contact with the earth when set to the lowest setting. I advised them that it needed to be taken out of service so that the next renter wouldnt be getting ripped off. They acknowledged that it had gone the entire season on one set of blades and that it would need new ones. They appeared to be understanding of my delima and didnt charge me for the rental. I went back 2 days later to try again and they tried to rent me the same one! I explained to the man that it was the same one and he said no...I have several and they all look the same. Really? Do you think I didnt pay particular attention to identifying marks to avoid this? Apparently not. Never-the-less, I ended up with a different one and made sure the blades were healthy enough to do what they were intended to do. Got it home and filled it full of seed and set out to finish what I started 2 days earlier. Fired it up and....what....the blades arent spinning? Yep, the engagement cable was all jacked up, the belt was off the pulley and it wasnt going to do anything. I repaired it and was able to get half way done and then the belt shredded and fused itself to the drive pulley. Again...wasted time due to poor maintenance. But....in their defense, I wasnt charged for the rental again (which I shouldnt have been).BTW...not once did they apologize for the inconvenience!The reason for 2 stars is due to their lack of maintenance on their equipment. 2 days of productivity were lost due to this. Furthermore, they blatantly put a piece of equipment back in service when THEY KNEW it was faulty. The unassuming renter may not realize that it doesnt work and waste a tremendous amount of money and time trying to verticut and reseed their yard. Thats just flat out dishonest business!!I REALLY wanted to do business with them because they are just down the street from me but unfortunately, I will have to find another rental place. I cant trust them.If you have to rent from these guys, inspect the equipment!!! Otherwise you run the risk of more down time than you ever anticipated.
