I was contacted by Lucas Berry in late January of this year. I had already been working with Aston Carter and applying to jobs myself for an accounting position, but felt I could use the extra help.When I first met Lucas at the get- to- know- you meeting, he was pleasant and seemed excited for this journey. Maybe Im the exception to the rule: Was called in to discuss a position only to be told upon arrival that it was already filled. After about 45min of talking and discussing areas of interest I mentioned I had a second interview for a position in my career field coming up and was told some recruiters would find my looking for jobs independently a slap in the face. I was the one to touch base with the recruiter twice after without any new leads or help from the recruiter. At one point I even emailed asking of there were any temp positions available, to which I got NO reaponse. I have never had such a disappointing relationship with a recruiting agency before.

I went for 30 minutes and they knew exactly what I was looking for. I had an interview with a company and was hired the next day. I would recommend anyone go anytime they are looking for a job. You will be more than satisfied with the people and the results.

So, I always kind of thought of staffing companies as those things that gave you a temp job UNTIL you found the one you were really looking for. I couldnt have been more wrong.After nearly 6 months of numbingly applying for dozens of jobs a week and hearing nothing but crickets and automated rejections, I decided to give Chief of Staff a shot. I knew that I interviewed well, but actually getting in front of a real human was Herculean effort.I met with Lorin and after a brief interview, she left the room and came back with a job posting that seemed like they wrote it based off my unique résumé. Less that two weeks later, I started at that company. And its what I consider my dream job, not just a temporary gig to get me by.In todays job climate, going through a staffing company is almost a necessity if you want face-time and want to actually find something that youre a good fit at. I cant recommend Chief of Staff highly enough and wish I had tried them so much sooner than I did.

This company tricked me into thinking I was interviewing for a job only to find out they were a staffing agency looking to add to their resume pool. They are not offering a job when they call you in for an interview, but they will sure make it sound like they are. Wasted my time and gas. I scheduled an actual interview later in the week to make theirs. Trickery is dishonorable and selfish.

LIARS LIARS LIARS. They only get one star because zero is not an option. They LIED about the position they offered because I had previously turned them down and LIED about the rate of pay. Once the position became permanent their little sherade erroded and it became abundantly clear the position was not as promised and the salary was a lie. Chief of Staff all the while walked off Scott free.
