This place broke my antenna connections and ripped my battery foil on my functional lg g8 thinQ after taking it in for an approved screen repair from Xfinity through assurant. They then tried to replace the phone with a Verizon version that had the keyboard burned into the screen.The manager told me that it didnt matter that the screen was burnt because it was a free phone. Like Im not still paying for the phone they rendered useless. The manager then hung up on me and dropped me back on assurants lap, who proceeded to replace my g8 with a Samsung a71. I tried fighting the decision. Spent legitimately 30 hours of my life trying to get my g8 replaced with a g8. Total circus from beginning to end with this place. Avoid this location at all costs. The pic below is of the antenna connection the tech broke on the main board. There are no replacement boards available for US version phones. I cant even pay some one to ACTUALLY REPAIR THE PHONE THEY BROKE!

I dont normally post negative reviews, because I know that life happens. But my experience with the CPR at this location was rediculous.I turned in a Samsung tab A tablet that wouldnt charge. I was told that it would take about a week. I didnt hear from them for two weeks, and then Im the one who had to call.When I called, I was told that the person who worked on the machines didnt show up to work... The week I first turned in the tablet. I should not have been the one to call. They should have called me as soon as they knew there was a problem.I went to pick up the tablet to take elsewhere and I was told that they had the part I needed, and the new guy had just passed by me, and would be working on it in the morning. I called a few days later and was told that the guy apparently didnt do anything and had walked out. But we just hired another guy and hes working on it. But wait, the part that theyd ordered had disappeared, and another week would be needed to get a replacement part.Finally, someone calls me to tell me that they put the part in and it didnt work, and the tablets motherboard had been blown. Supposedly because of using a fast charger.Heres my problem. By now, over a month later, we have an established relationship full of bull and mistrust. They should have kept me in the loop instead of me having to call them to find out whats going on. I dont believe a single thing that has been said, and I know they dont have my best interests in mind.This is a poster child case of the perfect way to ruin customer relations. I dont know about other locations, but I do know that I will never go to CPR again, and highly recommend that you go someplace else. Id rather buy a brand new tablet then to go there again and, as a matter of fact, thats what I ended up doing anyway.

The primary reason for bringing the laptop in - screen flickering* - soon returned. A couple keyboard key problems were fixed, but there are 2 new key issues that were evident immediately... as if the replacement keyboard components were not 100% compatable.All in all, I was without my laptop for 2 weeks, and ended up with as many problems as I had before the repair (failure).

Took my phone in with a shattered screen but still functional. They quoted me and told me they could replace the screen. Upon returning, they informed me they dont have the screen and itd be 2 day. I live Chicago. They give me my phone back only now the screen and back are no longer glued and attached and its not working. Garbage

Very poor quality from the technician.service was good. Took phone in twice to be fixed and got worse each time I got it back and still not fixed.

We recently came here for an issue with our SD reader for our Nintendo switch and they were very responsive. Paul the technician was great to talk to and explained what the issue was and took care of it. SD reader works how it should now. If I have any technical issues with anything in the future I now know who to trust with my electronics.

The team at CPR fixed my iPad well ahead of the time they said it would take and were prompt in letting us know.

They fixed my PS4 within 2 days of dropping it off. They called and let me know the problem and had it fixed almost immediately.

Good people. On the snowing storming day, my phone did not work well. Went to the store. Gentleman took a look at it and fixed it quick. On this almost no customer day, I offered some exchange, he said no need, did not do much. Appreciate it.

I do not recommend this place. I paid nearly $300 to replace the screen on my iPhone 11 and with in hours it was scratched. I never even put it in my pocket. Online they claim to have a warranty if the quality of the product used is poor. So I called on it they said it would not be covered. They clearly do not back their products and work. I would definitely spend the little extra and go to the competitor

I brought my phone in on an insurance claim for a screen repair and they were excellent! Originally they had told me it would be a couple hours and I told them that I had to be at work at a certain time they were able to squeeze me in and got me done in under 30 minutes! I would definitely recommend CPR to all my friends and family. GGreat job guys!

I needed a new battery for my iPhone 6s. I called CPR Cell Phone Repair the day before I planned to have the battery replaced. The young man was very courteous and helpful talking with me on the phone. He told me he had a supply of batteries in stock for my phone and I did not need to make an appointment. I drove to CPR Cell Phone Repair the next day. Again, the young man working in the store was very courteous, helpful and answered all of my questions. He said it would take about 20 to 30 minutes to replace the battery. I waited in the store. I found a new case and charger for my phone while I waited because I needed these items, too. My phone was ready to go within 20 minutes. The young man put the new case on my phone, too. I highly recommend CPR Cell Phone Repair for their courteous customer service, the efficient way of replacing the battery in my phone, and the reasonable prices for their products. I will definitely return to this business for my future cell phone needs.

I called about getting something fixed and the man on the phone was sooooo rude I didnt even go there.

We were on our way back home to illinois and my daughter left my note 9 on the top of the car, and well, you can guess the rest. We looked at prices around the area vs getting it fixed at home. They were much cheaper and fixed it in less than two hours. Even called us when it was ready. I am super satisfied with their service and would gladly take a ride to go to this place if something happens to any of our other devices. The employees were fabulous.

I had Paul replace a mosfet chip on a Nissan ECM board. He was very professional, polite, and had it done just a couple hours after I dropped it off. The repair looks great; nice clean solder joints, no burnt spots, and the bill was just $35! Totally worth it. The vehicle is back on the road and I couldnt be happier with the service.

My screen is totally cracked and I didnt do it I just looked one day and noticed some very slight cracks top and bottom and then the whole thing went so I got my receipt out and noticed they overcharged me and from the gitgo i had bad static and cant hear anybody and they cant hear me. EDITED REVIEW PENDING:Parts came quick...repair was timely. Bought an Otter screen saver after glass repair. Screen glass BROKE first time I dropped it. Cheap or defective glass? Maybe. Stay tuned to see how the problem is handled. Review depends on the answer.

My phone provider (Verizon) called to see if they had a sim tray slot I could buy, for my old broken phone until my new one came in. (Current phone I can’t unlock)I asked how much it would be to fix the screen, and I was quoted a lower place than every where else I called.I had them fix it, and I came back to get it.Phone is AWESOME.I was also blown away by the customer service by both people I dealt with. (A different man was there when I picked it up)Glad to know about this place. We took two Pixels there to be repaired. They were very helpfuland called with an update when additional parts had to be ordered. Would certainly use again.

I took it in my Xbox one X to get a new hard drive after I kept getting an error code (e105 & e102) on start up. They were honest and told me that the hard drive tested good and that it just needed reset and force updated. Very reasonably priced especially considering I no longer had to replace the hard drive and they cleaned all of the dust off of it. Thanks again!

I visited this location at 12:30 on Friday, August 21, the young man looked at the model number of my phone (Galaxy S4 Grand Prime) pecked at a keyboard a couple times, then told me that my model of phone is too complicated for them to service. I called the store afterward and spoke to the manager Paul who confirmed that my phone is too complex for them to work on (I suspect this was the same guy I talked to on the visit trying to cover himself). Called the Overland Park CPR store, described the situation, they said they would look at it at least. Picked it up from them yesterday, works perfectly. Dont waste your time with this location.

I took my backup phone used for work only) in to have a repair done. It is a smaller phone, and at one I could have done the repair myself. However, Ive lost my tools from college, and am a bit rusty. These guys, despite a couple of setbacks, which were understandable, were honest with me the entire way. What could have turned into a nightmare, were veryprofessional, and kept me informed every step of the way. They are definitely pros, and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs a repair, and wants an honest, competent staff handling it. They went far above and beyond to be sure they delivered what they promised.

For a fair price they fixed my unique front camera lens crack,far cheap and it was far cheaper than buying a new phone.It took a few days to get the pieces they needed. Once I handed over my phone I had it back in an hour.

I went today to have my Samsung Galaxy S8 fixed and the experience was great. The standard price is $229.99. It only took 2 hours and my phone was done.

Worst one could experience.Went in for screen replacement. Phone was working fine just cracked screen. When i came back tech told me phone would not come back on. I lost all saved info. Would have been nice if I was told this could happen. I would have never had it done and got a new phone to transfer all info.Be Careful at this place.

Not even sure where to start......first, I called for a quote to replace the front and back of an iPhone 8 plus. Went in 2 days later and was told that the price quoted was wrong. Owner worked with me on a fair adjustment to price and proceeded with the front replacement that day. The lack of quality in the workmanship was horrific. The glass was not even with the side piece of the iPhone and was raised by 1mm-2mm (noticeable!). I then had to put down $50 as a deposit for the back assembly and waited a week for it to arrive. Upon arrival, I went in to have it repaired and took approximately 3 hours to do so. Unfortunately, the following day my phone literally died and had to be replaced. Needless to say, the $400 spent at this place was a complete waste and I firmly believe that my phone dying was due to their poor workmanship.

Thought I had a fee to pay but they cleaned my sons PS4 & didnt charge us!!! It works fine

Fair price and very fast service

Although there were some serious problems completing a screen replacement, they worked very hard until it was properly repaired. Apparently, the replacement screen was defective from the manufacturer. CPR wouldnt give up until it was working correctly.They were very good at communicating with me, the price was lower than expected, and their warranty was better than other service vendors that I spoke to.Despite the extra time required for the repair to be completed, I have greater confidence in the quality of their service than any other similar service provider. Any company that puts in the extra effort to overcome a unique difficulty is more valuable to me than someone that hasnt been tested as thoroughly.

Long story short I ruined my charger hole trying to clean it. I really thought it would be a $100 fix or a new phone but $30 and 15 minutes later these guys have it working better than before. Really consider this place first super friendly, upfront, and fast!

I sent an email to request to have the free diagnostic for my xbox one x. I called the next day to see if they had a chance to look at it and they told me no and that they would call me once they did. They NEVER called me. 5 days later I stop by the store. The good thing was they figured the issue was the retimer chip. The bad was they had already ordered the part and were going to service my xbox without my consent. Its a $15 part. The total cost for the repair would have been $130. So the labor charged for the service is $115. Thats such an unfair price. I took my xbox with me and decided to do the repair myself. Im not paying that much for convenience. You are thieves. The price doesnt reflect the service performed.

They are tagged for drones but the dont do drones. They only work on Phones and tablets.

Went to the store on Antioch rd north of the river and had purchased a screen protector with the gentleman up front said it was the best. The day after I got it replaced I noticed bubble under the screen then 4 days later I noticed it was cracked!! I was upset so i called them and ask for a refund which i did get but he told me that i dropped my phone thats why it was cracked! Im a grown woman I would of known of I dropped my phone.

Such friendly staff! Diagnostic on my Galaxy 7S was free and he even cleaned it up at no charge! Bran had to order the part for my phone, but gave me a tip on how to get it to work while we wait for it to arrive (3-5 days). He was very knowledgeable and I am confident my repair will be completed successfully when the part comes in.

I had my phone repaired there on more than one occasion and never had a problem, even gave me a discount on my 3rd repair.

These folks are HONEST. So much more fairer than Ubreakitifixit. They will not cheat you, I had an iPad that I thought needed a battery replacement, I didn’t. I needed better charging utensils. They could of just charged me for nothing or not even told me. Honest. You got to love it.

Took a 3DS in to get a screen replaced. Just picked it up and the replacement screen has chips in it. (I foolishly didnt look at it until I got home.) I will be taking it back to see if they will fix it properly. Will update if they do or not.Update: So my 3DS screen did get fixed after all and they did a good job. I have retracted my previous statement and now I will just say if you get a device fixed here, please turn it on and check that everything is in order when you pick it up.If we ever need something fixed again, we will come back. Mistakes happen, thank you very much for fixing this one.

I was incorrectly quoted pricing for a screen replacement, which was not addressed until after the screen replacement was completed. The quote was honored & the screen repaired, which I greatly appreciate; however, the gentlemen (possibly owner?) was extremely rude when asked about a discount & indicated at that time we were quoted incorrectly & NEVER should have received service for the quoted price!!! This should have been handled in a different manner (such as addressing it internally with your staff) & as a customer, I should not have been lashed out at. I give 5 stars for the gentleman who placed the repair order & the service completed but Id have to drop this to 1 star for the customer service received at the time of payment.

CPR Cell Phone Repair was great to deal and very fair. They bought a part and tried to repair my older version phone. When that did not work, they informed me that the cost to try the next repair was likely more than the phone was worth and then refunded the money that I paid for the original repair. I could not have asked for a more honest company. I would definitely recommend them and will take any other phones that I have that need repairs to them.

I brought my sons switch here thinking I would need to have the charging port replaced. They were super friendly and found out it was just the charger. He helped my pick out a new one and it was so reasonable. Should I ever need a repair on anything or a charger this is the first place I will go. Gameco was deceptive and told me it would cost me over $100 to fix and that it was the battery or motherboard. I am so glad I picked up and took it over here instead.

I was in the process of changing carriers, and I could not get this one piece back in my phone. I went in, and Taylor greeted me and we laughed because my fumble fingers could not get this back. He checked my phone out, got the piece put back in and had me ready to go complete by cellular carrier change. I have been in places similar to this for other reasons, but the professional and prompt service I received from Taylor was the best, 5+ stars in my book.

So I cracked a Pixel 3 screen and brought it here because it was $200 for the repair instead of the $300 at uBreakiFix. They ordered the part, it came a while later and I came back and dropped off my phone, alls good. I return the next day and Im given the experience of peeling the plastic off the new screen - good touch on their part. Everyone loves doing that. I pay the rest and notice there is resin under the bezel around the speakers and cameras and addresses those as a concern and he said they would not come out. Not thrilled about it but fine, you get what you pay for. So I get into the car to find the squeeze assistant is acting up. Upon bringing back in I get to meet the tech who did the repair. He was a kind guy, a little awkward, he saw the issue and readily took it back and apologized for the inconvenience. He promised $20 compensation. I understand Pixel 3s are difficult, and he said he was new so i understood. I dont mind as long as Im properly compensated for any damage or problems. I expressed this and he was thankful. He says come back in an hour.So I come back, in an hour, to pick it up. The squeeze assistant is fine. Immidiately though I find the speakers are clicking as I navigate the UI. I pull up a YouTube Video to test the speakers and sure the audio is all messed up. The novice tech apologized, took it back and said the lead tech would in the next day.So I get there, and meet the clerk (not a tech) and he hands me the phone. All the problems the repair itself caused were gone. No clicking speaker, no problems with squeeze assistant. The ugly adhesive resin is still under the bezel. I address this concern, along with the fact that two other malfunctions had been caused by the repair store which meant I had to come back and forth to the store 5 times, and that I wanted compensation. The clerk immidiately offered me $20 back and I said that I was told $20 when I first had the problem with the squeeze assistant and not with the speakers and that I feel I should get more. He beat around the bush for a while, not fully understanding everything hes saying because of his accent and begins to conclude that they had put copious time into the repair and that $20 is what he was told and is all he will give me. I could see there was no negotiating at this point and left.tl;dr -Store causes my phone to malfunction in two ways on two separate occasions before I get my phone back completely fixed, with aethetic problems under the bezel still. Very little compensation given.And since Ive spent this whole review complaining, I feel I should include some nice parts about the store:• Plastic peel on new screen was nice touch• Fast Service• More competitive pricing than uBreakiFix• The Novice Tech I talked to was very genuine, kind and apologetic

Figured out that hdmi port was in correctly fixed and it had serged at some point and broke the mother board. Workers there where so nice and explained what was wrong.
