Quick, good customer service, and clean. I really appreciate that someone was wiping down the display models frequently. It happened a few times while we were there for roughly an hour.
Nice and clean, courteous staff, but a wicked long wait outside. Once inside the staff talked us through my repair options and actually suggested a less expensive repair with my service vendor. I appreciate the consideration for my time and money..... although..... did I mention the wait? And I actually had an appointment. So prepare accordingly.
It was clean, easy, and everyone was friendly. Very helpful too. If you need Apple support this store is great and specifically Bryan. I usually don’t write reviews but Bryan’s care was second to none. Well done!
So nice I made an appointment and didnt have to wait in line and the attendant was right with me. Her name was Ashley and she explained everything perfectly.
Dont bother going in if they close in half an hour or less, the associates wont help you. Also if youre coming in for a repair/troubleshoot youll need to make an appointment, which likely wont be available for multiple weeks (I was told 3 weeks). As someone whos not from the area its way more convenient and cheaper (I was quoted about 1/2 the price) to just go to a local computer repair shop.
I made an appointment to have my battery replaced since I live over an hour away. I showed up on time and was told it would be ready in an hour. When I came back the phone wasn’t ready. In fact, they hadn’t even started yet. Apple estimated it would take at least 45 minutes but likely longer.I explained I came a long way and had a fussy toddler on my hand. The associate could care less and told me either wait or take my phone back. So, less than thrilled, I took my phone back and left.Just purchased a new Samsung phone tonight. Apple has lost my business on behalf of this store. Good job, team.
The staff at this location is always very helpful and patient being that I am older person. I greatly appreciate the awesome customer service.
What a terrible experience. iPhone 11 broke (manufacturer) issue after less than 2 years, no warranty, had to buy a new phone. Yea, technology is not as reliable as we would like it to be, was the service persons response. Seriously? Less than 2 years and the phone is broken beyond repair?? Person left me to update the phone. Had to go home (needed ipad to do so). Now cannot back up from cloud. Had tons of issues with airpods as well. Apple sucks. This will be my last Apple product. Terrible products, terrible customer service.
The store was nice and clean and the sales associate made an effort to socially distance. The only odd thing was that they did not let us use the bathroom. I would understand if I was passing by but not when we bought a product and made an appointment as customers. Legally, businesses have to provide a working restroom so Im not sure how they can do this.
Very neat store where you can browse or buy Apple products. Just like any other Apple stores it looks very contemporary. Vast space and a lot of displays to look at. A lot of staff willing to assist you. There’s a seating area for your companions or kids to relax while you are shopping. It’s in a great location at the heart of Country Club Plaza where you can walk around after shopping.
Complete scam. Take your computer to any other repair shop that can handle Macs and you will get better, more honest service at half the price. They tried to charge me $700 for something a local repair shop took care of for $300. Better yet, stop buying Macs as the quality has gone down dramatically!
The technician was absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable about the product sold. Great experience, again!
I had the most horrific horrible experience at the country club plaza Apple store 7/17/2021 associates and staff so rude and snobby they’re uneducated and just seem determined to not really want to help I don’t recommend this particular apple store at all. I was (yes I before today) to be a great fan of Apple and Apple care and Apple stores now I’m starting to think otherwise .. WORRYING don’t shop AT APPLE STORE PLAZA only if in the million dollar club. For the rest of the real people like I go somewhere else. ***More details on my visit on my blog.
If you guys need to get screen fix dont come here Go toBoost mobile 9401 blue ridge Blvd kc mo 64138 I get my iPhone 8 screen fix for $80 and Apple told me $250 so if you like to pay more go to 🍎
They took care of business in a professional manner.
Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Very short waiting time, barely set down before we was helped.
Apple sent me to the Genius Bar here, but Im not sure why. I opened a box of Beats X that didnt work. Apple did nothing but allow me to potentially send them back for repair for $80.
Very well lubricated getting people in fast and taken care of. Feels way different then pre covid. Liked old way of doing things better.
The place was very sanitary and answered all of our questions. There was also little to no wait time. One important thing to note is that there were no public bathrooms. Otherwise very nice.
Great service as you’ve come to expect from apple.
Ashley was extremely helpful in fixing my laptop. This place is well run and helped me out. Thanks again!
Excellent service. They had everything we wanted. Very clean. Very professional. Highly recommended.
A total scam. Brought a computer to trade in. They turned it on and it worked. They refused Payment with gift cards because it exceeded their daily limit. Really? Sent me home to buy it online. When I returned the next day the computer had stopped working. Literally the computer worked for four years, brought it to the apple store and it stopped working, which conveniently decimated the value of the trade. Get like a total scam.
IPHONE sucks. Buy a Samsung.MAC sucks. Buy a Windows PC.
This is the BEST Apple store, ever. All of the employees are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They make you feel welcome from the moment you step through the doors. I love that they are able to perform repairs in store in most cases, have free classes you can take, and don’t try to force products or services on you. It’s just a delightful, calm experience. Highly recommend!!!
They are not much help here... told me to go to a third party for repair since they don’t support there own product with Apple care
Really nice to buy stuff from apple great and nice service
On April 10, 2021, My mom, brother, and I went to the Apple store to buy a MacBook Pro 13-inch. We did buy the MacBook. Anyway, the salesperson who served us was helpful, understanding, patient, and friendly with us, in contrast to the other salespeople we spoke to before him. The salesperson we spoke to before him was disrespectful and not understanding. We did not care for his attitude at all.On April 12, 2021, I spoke to a specialist at the genius bar about my MacBook Pro 13-inch. I had an issue with the Macbook, so I had to go back to the Apple store three days after buying the laptop. I did schedule an appointment with a specialist online two days before the appointment. Before I met with the specialist, I had to wait in line for a pretty long time even though I made an appointment. The issue I had with my MacBook is a gray static screen would show up every time I shut down the laptop. When I met with a specialist, he told me what the problem was and fixed it. It wasnt a serious issue like I thought it was. The specialist had a pretty good attitude, and also he was understanding and helpful.
Got my AirPods and Apple Watch here. I appreciated them moving up my appointment since I had gotten out of work early and didn’t want to wait 2 more hours. I just didn’t like the two guys there who treated me like I couldn’t afford what I was buying. They didn’t even want to let me in they made me wait behind people who didn’t have an appointment. The condescending attitudes makes me just not want to come back. I can get stuff delivered to my house instead.
Worst customer service ever, we stood in the line for 45 minutes before he told us they booked for the day. We couldnt can get in.
Everyone that works here is great. Never any complaints, always positive!
Second time picking up and item. There will be a like due to the COVID situation. Employees are friendly and don’t push extra items on you. Nice to see security too. Store is nice and clean!
There for a delivery, picking up two orders. Staff came outside yelling with a sharp tone. This was my first time visiting this store as I just moved up here from Atlanta. Not a good look!
At least I got to actually go in the store this time. I was actually seen and not sent away . I have to say it was very good, even though I didnt come out with less problems than I went in with.
Can I visit the Apple Store to shop for iPhone and iPad and pick them up immediately?
Country Club PlazaIts an Apple Store. Its always worth a visit. Its wonderful!
Classic electronic media sales to join their culture. Arent we passed this genre yet?
Little busy but such a nice store.
Sh/]]¥ customer service. Wouldn’t replace my charger cable in spite of being closed for for months due to COVID-19 shutdowns. How is it that their policy stands regardless of a global epidemic 😷 or not. Lol sad times.
Very helpful and polite.
Shawn was very nice and helpful over the phone.
Great experience!! Great customer service!
I am not happy anymore with apple products, getting more issues
Waiting outside for more than 20min! No associate to help me buy just a charger!!! Waste of time!
Very helpful fixed my problem within 10 minutes
Save your money and go to a local repair shop that can repair iPhones and Macs. This stores solution is always a new factory part for over $500, when often times your phone or computer can be repaired for far less.
My son got locked out of his I phone and they helped him out...however they did try to sell a kid a new phone and then looked at me like he was supposed to ask me for the money at which point I pointed out his phone is more upgraded then my own already and I am not paying for it. They eventually helped him get in but spent a little to much time trying to make the sell rather then trying to solve the problem. FYI sales people if the kids are already talking to you themselves mom and dad are letting them figure it out on their own and not throwing money at their problems however these kids still have I phones and should be given good customer service...pushed the sales thing a little harder then I liked by trying to convince him it was impossible to fix but he could trade in towards a new one before another associate did assist and fix the problem.
Excellent service ! I am a senior with little technical knowledge. I phoned this company with questions, questions. Both representatives were patient and helpful and led me to the answers to my problem.
Picked up an online order for an iPhone 12 pro max. Scheduled pickup, no line at my arrival time. 3 others in the COVID configured store... individual “teller booths”. Plexyglass with a slot for passing products. In and out minimal exposure in less than 5 minutes !
Service was great, but very long wait despite having an appointment.
Travis is amazing!! He turned what could have been a horrible day into a great one. It’s employees like Travis that make customers so loyal to Apple. I can’t speak for the entire store itself because this was one isolated experience, but Travis made my visit great.
Great service! The salesperson was very helpful and friendly! Didn’t have to wait just walked right in and got my questions answered about my new iPhone. Answered all my questions and gave me helpful tips as well. Definitely recommend this Apple location. I will definitely be going to this location if I have any further questions or concerns about my new iPhone. Great experience very happy that I switched to an iPhone!
This is my granddaughters favorite place.
It can get pretty busy, but the people there are very helpful. If you are searching for a new Apple product, this is the best place to get a hands on experience with all of their hardware. They also help you learn how to use your phone and will do check ups on them to make sure your current products are working correctly.
This store used to be very helpful when making purchases and figuring out what and when you can purchase an item. However, on our last few visits it’s been like pulling teeth to get any information at all. They provide as little as possible and rather than helping to make a sale, have simply pointed us to computers to do it ourselves without helping to compare items at all.
Came in to get my phone screen repaired. Was told it was a 25 minute wait and that I was free to walk around the plaza and they would text me in 25 minutes when the Genius would be available. I wait an HOUR and no text. Go to the store to see what is taking so long. They quote me to wait an extra 30 minutes because I didn’t come in person after 25 minutes and “check in.” I’ve never had this issue before at an Apple store. I sit and wait for the extra 30 minutes and two girls who are dressed in designer clothes and an attitude get help immediately from the Genius bar. 🙄
Kind of slow service, all blocked off you need a sales person to do anything.
Waiting outside while it was cold for over 1 hour after had my appointment time set. Screw you apple.
Very timely, professional and friendly.
I found this place a bit creepy and too sterile for my taste. But the staff was helpful and my cousin didnt have to wait too long for her phone. staff was also very clear on where to meet the person that would help her. Thats a plus.
All stores should strive for the great service I received. I arrived 20-30 minutes early for my appointment, the store was very busy. The associate that checked me in was professional. Justin my assigned tech started helping me 15 minutes before my actual appointment time. He had my Mac diagnosed in 10 minutes. Apple had it fixed in less than 12 hours at reasonable prices.
In store shopping not available. Appointment repair service and pick up. Mac repair service may need to wait. According to agents there, “40, 50 Macs are in store, waiting to be repaired.
ZERO Customer Service! I’m an understanding, patient, and kind person but waiting 2 months to get a MacBook fixed under a Repair Program when everyone at the store tells me my MacBook is ELIGIBLE but not covered, and therefore I am forced to pay is just unacceptable. I have been provided NO reason as to why from the repair depot (an outsourced company) and therefore no one at the store knows why either. Seriously? So unprofessional. Managers here make NO exceptions and don’t really help you, they’re just there to make the store more revenue, they’re not there to help you. Still can’t get my MacBook fixed because no one will help! Managers, admins, and technicians — none of them will help. Stay away from this place, and go to another Apple Store!
Came on launch day to spend $1300 on a new iPhone, stood in line for 2.5 hours while at any given time 4-5 employees could be seen chatting to each other and laughing (clearly not work related). Got to the front of the line and stood for another hour before finally giving up.No acknowledgement from any Apple employee, no apologies, no solutions, no empathy. Decided to leave.
Getting better, almost like the old days
I am from out of town and I was looking forward to a quick and painless apple experience. Who do these children think they are? Half of Them are incredibly rude and unwilling to help. After 45 minutes of waiting for my apple genius to text me as I sat at Starbucks 15 minutes later I went back to the store for which they told me they were “busy” and “sorry the text didn’t work.” What? I didn’t even have time to get my laptop properly fixed before I had to go an Hour and a half later!Go to a different store and save yourself time trouble and the headache of dealing with a bunch or teenagers pretending to be apple employees.
Nice staff, good collection
Went there to pick up my wifes new iPhone. The sales guy appeared arrogant. We thought we got the phone updated and working. My Google Pixel was much easier to setup. It is ok, my wife likes her phone. But unfortunately she can not access her emails after she got home. Nobody checked that before we left the store.I have always wondered when I had an iPhone why they have a Genius Bar there if you need a repair. I never have met a genius in there yet.
The staff makes you feel like family here. Easy to see from the street. Conveniently across the street from a Starbucks and a short walk from a parking garage. Make a Genius Bar appointment ahead of time, and they’re very helpful to customize your experience.
Incredible experience! I absolutely love that Apple has these stores available. Shout Out to Josh for fixing my MacBook and delivering great insight.
It was my first time in an apple store, they were super polite and very professional. The store itself is very nice, I loved it. Shout out to Sam for helping me with my new iPhone X! Definitely recommend
Their company wide covid appointment policy is ludicrous, makes me regret buying apple products
Great apple store. It was packed to the point it was hard to move through the store but despite that I was assisted immediately upon entering the store. I told them what I was looking for, they walked directly to the item and wrang it up on a cell phone. I paid and was out the door in less than 5 minutes. Really was pretty amazing for how busy the store was.
Not the same store it used to be.
Nice
Staff is great and friendly . Supervisor was very kind and understanding
This location is Apples flagship in KC. Its a real technological wonder! The centerpiece of this brand new store is a high res display that covers the entire rear wall. The place is full of all the latest shiny gadgets youve come to expect from Apple. From Airports to Watches you can ogle it all; displayed in first class style, with helpful techs and friendly service within reach at all times.
Horrible customer service! I’ve been to this store three times for my $400 Apple Watch that is a little over 30 days old. I waited over 30 minutes for my scheduled appointment and was only seen then because I complained. They already tried to resolve my issue in store unsuccessfully so now instead of just replacing my watch they had me send it in for repairs. Why should a brand new $400 watch need to be sent for repairs? More importantly why should I be inconvenienced with a 7-10 day wait time after buying a $400 watch? The store should have took the watch back, gave me a new one, and sent the old one for repairs on their own time. It could have been sold as refurbished after it was fixed. I spend thousands of dollars on apple products for myself alone, not counting the rest of my family, for such horrible customer service.
They sell phones with features that don’t work.Even after paying extra for AppleCare, no one I speak with seems to know the features of the phones they manufacture.
Despite being crowded the few times Ive been in, it seems pretty well staffed. However, that staff doesnt really seem to be doing anything most of the time. Just standing and staring into space, watching stuff on iPads, or talking to other staff. Also, standing there for an hour while my wifes device was being set up, I noticed that its just intensely boring. Just a really boring space. Maybe thats why the employees seem so listless...
I was shocked at how easy it was to go in and have my battery replaced. The representatives were friendly, and I ended up not having to pay for the replacement. For a busy location they are definitely staffed accordingly which makes it easier on the customers to not have to wait for long periods
Had an emergency with a coffee soaked macbook air...got advice...got solutions...fantastic help...very fast and honest
My laptop stopped charging just hours before an important deadline. I made a genius bar appointment. They were friendly, my appointment was on time and they were able to fix the issue on the spot, albeit temporarily. I went back again when the problem recurred and again they managed to fix it and does not seem to have recurred.
The staff at this location are eagle-eyed extroverts who will pounce on you as you enter the store. They want to help and will persistently try to make that happen. It’s great.I love having a local store that offers various classes as well as appointments in order to get more technical assistance. We have taken various Apple devices into this store over the years, and typically have fantastic experiences each time. Staff members really seem willing to take enough time to understand the issue as well as trying several different solutions until the issue is fixed. Finding the intersection of expertise and helpfulness can seem like spotting the Loch Ness monster, many people believe it to be mythical but rumors of its existence still persist.
Dress well if youre coming here. Came in straight after work and was told the wait time would be an hour. Less the ten minutes into the wait a well dressed man came in with an attitude and the took him right back to look at his iPad. BS. Next time Ill take the longer drive to the Leawood location. God, I hate the Plaza and Plaza people.
Place was packed as heck still gave great service. Was impressed with this store.
Juvi (sp?) took a lot of time to walk me through a set-up of my new device and answered a lot of questions I had. Great customer service at this location! :)
Store is currently closed until further but they cannot bother to update that on google. Thanks for supporting your customers and their time.
Wish I wouldve got the name of the guy who helped! Went in to trade my old iPhone 7 for credit on the XR. The guy was straight to the point, incredibly helpful, kind, and made the purchase incredibly quick! I was expecting to take far longer, but was pleasantly surprised. Love the phone as well!
Terrible customer service.
Less crowded than old store. Like the new design. Can get things done pretty quickly
My phone had never worked properly since I got it. I had no appointment, thanksgiving weekend, they were super busy but asked me to come back when store opened the next day. They couldn’t fix my microphone problem, so they gave me a new replacement phone right there ! Very happy with their friendly service too.
Awesome service, went in and talked to one of the employees working there. He gave me some good insight about the devices they had to offer. There was no pressure in making my decision, which sometimes that often happens at some places.
We have been trying to fix an issue with my boyfriends phone for over a week now, he will lose all data for most of the hours of the day. The first time they tried something, that fixed it for less than 24 hours... so he brought it back in like he was told to. They told him to come back another time. He made an appointment for today, (and of course as these things always go, it hadnt worked all day but he got data back right before getting there) where he was told he needed to have been screenshotting things that were happening on the phone, and to come back SUNDAY. I understand the need for documentation, but no one in the other two times could have told him to be sure to be getting screenshots of the issue? If we come in Sunday, now equipped with the screenshots we didnt know we needed, and get turned away again I am going to be so upset. I do not like wasted time, and it feels like that is all this is.
I’ve been here 3 times in the past 36 hours to try and get my computer fixed. They’ve had me running back and forth, making me appointments for the wrong day and then not doing anything to try and assist me once I’m there. They’ll ask you to wait in their store for hours before someone can spend 5 minutes with you. They make PCs look a lot more appealing.
Waited over an hour to see a technician about my iPhone 7 Plus, but got great service from Tyler. I dont generally like the Apple store process, there are plenty of techs just walking around the store with their iPads. However, Tyler more than made up for the wait. He was super patient and knowledgeable.
