Brooks Chem- Dry had great reviews and I am happy to say I was more than satisfied with everything about them! I didn’t catch the ladies name the day I made the appointment but she was so nice! Steve was the one who cleaned the carpet. He explained everything that he was going to do. My carpet was gross and dirty but he didn’t treat me like it was! I will definitely have them back here again!! You will not be disappointed with them!

The first time I only had heavy traffic areas done and was very pleased. This time I had pretty much every nook and cranny cleaned. This included finding, treating and then cleaning multiple areas where my dog had urinated. LET ME TELL YOU an amazing cleaning it was! My carpets had hit that critical stage where I truly thought I might have to replace it all but then I gave that thought a pause and asked myself, Brookes Chem Dry had done such a beautiful job the first time around, why not find out whether or not my carpets could be saved. And SAVE THEM THEY DID!! When finished I walked through my house in amazement and awe. Like, WOW, for new they did indeed look!! And if that was not in and of itself miraculous enough, the actual price came in approximately 20% less than the original over-the-phone estimate! No extra charge to come to Lawrence. Product used is quick drying and non-soap based so carpets stay cleaner much longer. Courteous. Professional demeanor. Time efficient. No other carpet cleaning company compares!

We have used Brookes Chem-Dry a few times now. They have always done a spectacular job! The carpets look brand new every time! Our three kids love to thrash them and somehow Brookes gets them back to looking great again! This last time we had them do some furniture in addition to the carpets. Also, spotless! I read the reviews before selecting this vendor. ALL of the reviews are correct! The owner comes and does the work himself. He carefully and meticulously cleaned my carpets. Steven White came and did my carpets that had numerous pet and coffee stains and they havent looked as good as they do now for a decade. He was able to remove stains that at least 5 other carpet cleaners in the last decade were unable to get up. Best part as I didnt have to wait all day for them to be dry, they were dry in less than 2 hours. So appreciate Steven and all of his hard work. Will definitely be having him back in the Spring.

In the past I have had the carpet steam cleaned and it looked great but took a long time to dry. This time the carpet dried pretty quickly. I would definitely use Chem dry again.

Wow! What a great company. Quote was easy to get, Cheryl was very nice and accommodating and Kenny came yesterday to clean my carpets. What a great job! I am so impressed! All my pet stains are completely gone and I cant believe how fresh my apartment smells now. When my husband came home he asked have our carpets always been this fluffy? The best part was that they dried so quickly. I used Stanley steemer back in march and not only did they not do as good a job but the carpets were wet until well into the next day. Contacted Brookes with an urgent request for an appointment, and they were able to fit us into the schedule. On cleaning day, one of their trucks broke down. They got a late start because of it, so they brought in an extra crew to make sure that the job was done by the time they said it would be. The serviceman was very professional, both in his appearance and in the quality of his work. He did an excellent job, moved my furniture that could be moved and my living room was perfect. Disappointed. Second time I have called and been told no they do not provide those services. The first was vehicle cloth upholstery, which is understandable, but the second was to get my apartment carpets done. I was told they don’t have the equipment that will reach my apartment. Again, this is understandable, but super super disappointing since I’ve been looking forward to using this company for a year now.

I had Brookes come to my house to clean my carpet in a bedroom and hallway. Unfortunately, my dog had a few accidents and the carpet was not smelling good. They were able to get all the urine odor and germs out of the carpet and it literally looks brand new. The owner was very detailed and took his time on the job.

Fantastic locally owned company that provides that extra personal touch. From Cheryl in the office to Steve and his crews we always have a professional experience. Our fairly new carpets (two years old) looked fantastic. Could not believe the difference. We thought they were clean. Obviously they were not. We also have tile so we had the tile grout cleaned and sealed. Looks like new! Will have them on a schedule from now on.

I was absolutely blown away by what an amazing job Steven did cleaning our couch. We have two kids under 5 and bought a white couch 2 years ago. It has had chocolate, apple juice, marker and red wine spilled on it. I had cleaned up as my ch as I could and decided to call a service. I never expected it to be completely clean, but Steven somehow managed to do it!

We had Brookes Chem-Dry clean our entire upstairs carpeting. We have two little children and so I love the fact that Chem-Dry uses a natural cleaning solution and I dont have to worry about what my children are crawling and playing around on. Also, the carpets were dry in just a few hours which is a huge plus! We were very pleased and will use them in the future.

My appointment time was pushed back about 2 1/2 hours due to delays on their previous job. When Steven arrived I had another appointment in less than an hour so he worked very quickly. Bad experience with this company. I originally called and asked to be quoted for a upholstery cleaning that had pet urine smell. The lady who answered the phone gave me the quote, explained that their procedure was very effective so I scheduled my appointment. When the guy came out he just used a sprayer machine, so after only 40 min that he left I called back and told them the smell was still present. They came back out a second time and actually treated some areas where the urine smell was more noticeable. I let it dry, the treatment definitely worked but there was still a smell in other spots that he didn’t treat. Therefore I called again and explained this to them. They said in order for them to come out it would be an additional $60 because this wasn’t included in my first quote, which makes no sense since my whole purpose from the moment I contacted them was a pet urine treatment.

We have 5 rescue cats, and we were gone to close on my Moms house. We had our son coming over and checking on the cats to make sure they had food and water. However when we walked in our house it smelled like cat pee so bad we had to open windows, change kitty litters and spray the house. If you know how strong cat pee can be it was overwhelming. On top of all that we both had Bronchitis. I called Chem dry and a very nice lady called me back within minutes to schedule our appointment. A very nice gentleman and a great young lady came with a black light and check for areas to spray before the cleaned the carpets. Let me say they did a great job and the carpet smells wonderful!! Great service! Cheryl was able to answer all my questions over the phone and get me an appointment ASAP. Steve came out to clean our carpet and he paid attention to every detail and concern I had, even the trouble spots I didnt know I had. The process did take a bit longer than we expected but it was because Steve took it upon himself to try extra hard to get out those stains and work on the traffic areas. We scheduled an appointment 2 times. The first time they never confirmed it via e-mail or phone so we assumed they had canceled. Then found out the day of with no confirmation they were still coming out, 2 weeks later. We had not taken off work so we re-scheduled, received an email and phone confirmation and then they didnt show up and just said it was a scheduling issue. We wasted 3 weeks dealing with their scheduling issues and now have to find another company. This was a very frustrating experience.

After 12+ years of various roommates, spills, cats, stains of unknown origins, and general wear and tear, we thought our carpet was unsalvageable. We decided to try carpet cleaning before spending a small boatload of money on new flooring, and we’re glad we did. Kenny is a carpet cleaning wizard. He managed to erase all the accumulated grime and crud (and cat fur) of the last decade within a few hours. He worked quickly but made sure to get the job done right, and he was very friendly and personable. I honestly wish we took ‘before’ pictures because the ‘after’ is almost unbelievable. We will be using this company again (as long as Kenny’s there) and would recommend them to anyone.
