Called my work for credit card processing sales pitch. Told him we are happy with who we use and he straight hung up on me. No ok thanks or have a good day. He just hung up. Very unprofessional. When the time comes to switch I know who we won’t be calling.
Our experience with Eliot Mgmt has been extremely positive -especially in comparison to using our bank for this service. Why? Ill list some examples.#1 Our representative always answers the phone if there are any questions or concerns to navigate and is EXTREMELY helpful!#2 The rates are extremely good#3 Processing site is cohesive and user friendly#4 Excellent response time - even if it requires an in person resolution to any issue (a rare occurrence).#5 No more headaches dealing with our bank service provider who overcharged for this type of service but didnt deliver anywhere near the level of customer service needs or response time.So, after 3 plus years of enjoying the services provided by Eliot MGMT Group - I highly recommend this company.
I feel like this job is a great way to lead you to success if you put in the work. Great co-workers not just in the office I work in all over the US. Im just going to really miss this job I felt like I found something I really like and enjoy coming to work daily. Hate that I had to leave for personal reasons.

After reading some of these reviews I was shocked! Because after understanding the services fully, I saw what a great company this is. Charles Parker is so down to earth and genuinely willing to help. The office is close by on the Plaza and they are willing to help as soon as I call. Processing is a complicated industry, but Charles took time and explained it all to me. Just make sure you understand what you are getting for your business before anything is signed and all will be good. Eliot’s statements are so simple to read and follow! Thanks you Charles! This company was very easy to work with. My rep, Caleb Morris was very knowledgeable & helped with any questions I had. The process has been quick & easy. After the first month my rate savings were even more than estimated. I will recommend him to other small business owners.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We were lied to by Eliot and First American Payment Systems regarding establishing a merchant services account. They claimed they would not set up anything until we had a contract in hand. That was a lie. We decided against using them. They are now charging our bank account monthly. My advice, avoid them like the plague.Update - received a response from the owner, emailed as instructed...no response.Update - as of 12/19/18, still no reply to emails or phone calls, so much for working to resolve my issue to my satisfaction.Update as of 1/8/19 - STILL no reply. Wish I could say Im surprised.

If I could rate them NO stars I would but thats not an option. Do NOT do business with this company! Our one month trial period is still costing us year later. We have contacted our account manager, Shawn H., several times. When he answered at all we got crazy info that the only way we could end our charges is if I sent them a screen shot of my bank account showing their charges... what?!! We also tried to contact our sales rep, Larry T., and again absolutely no help. The only time he took our phone call was when we used a different number and he didnt recognize us on his caller ID. He did promise to help, said he remembered my contacting him about ending our trial period, and that he would help resolve our issue. As soon as he got off the phone all bets were off, he hasnt helped and, once again, will not take our calls or return messages.So over and above what we consider unprincipled business practices they have absolutely zero customer service or willingness to help resolve conflicts with their customers. Oh, and did I mention that their great deal ended up costing us quite a bit more than the company we had been doing business with. They are not a good deal, are not honest and hire poor employees. Please learn from our mistakes and do not fall for their sales pitch!!
I would not recommend this company to anyone. It has been a nightmare to deal with, and the manager Caleb will not call you or email you back to try and fix the solution. I was working on setting up the processing for 2 different businesses, one being brand new, and they completely messed up the application, had no clue what was going on. When they finally figured it out, they said they would have it resolved in 2 days. It has not been over a week, and nobody will call me back. Yet, they charged my account for 3 different fees when I cant even take payment because of their mistakes. The rep was new, so I dont blame her even though I know she made some mistakes; it comes down to management not helping make sure it is done correctly. Then trying to follow up to make sure it is all done. Im now going to have to cancel both businesses accounts with them.
I loved this place as an employee- until my boss got sick and no one was able to cover him... I realized they cared nothing about the employees except my boss and the most wonderful amazing woman that works as a receptionist there.... I worked there a few months and made a total of $300. It’s a scam of sorts, at least in regards to the employees... However, some do well after years of building clients .Again, as you can see below, this is a message between my boss and I (as I had actually quit but they call it terminated... ) that proves these words true.Now to the point, I earned several thousand in commission while working at EMG; however, I have to wait 30 days after the company installed the equipment before getting paid the commission owed.That is money already earned. When you leave, the monthly earnings from your clients are left for your boss and you no longer receive this as well. That is okay and understable... THIS ISNT !. Here is what they are saying now .. we all know this is against the law....please read and see photos if you are thinking of applying or working here. I WILL ADD THE TEAM at the office we’re all really good and nice people!!!! Sorry you guys, but I had to get this straightened out. I notified the appropriate office concerning such matters . This isn’t directed at anyone who works at this Kansas City office!!!!

This company approached my business for credit card processing. The sales person; Jeff Ferguson, presented a package to which I was only presented the rates pages. The package was presented as a month to month with no obligation and next day funding. After signing the rate page and after processing 2 customers credit cards the next day funding didnt happen. I called 3 times to which they said it was in place. However the next credit card processed took the 5 days as the previous 2 to get deposited. I called the servicing company as Eliot is just a re-seller of First American Payment Systems. They stated that next day funding was not in place and no one called to activate, and to activate it would be at a higher rate. We then reactivated my previous provider and have been with them since. Now First American states the contract was a 3 year contract and have requested over $5,000 in liquidation damages. After not agreeing to the amount they are treating litigation and ill need to appear in court in Texas. I have called Eliot over 15 times and have never been able to talk to someone there...no one answers and no voicemail system. I want to find out why they lied to me during the sales pitch and why I was never provided a contract. Overall, never do business with this company. The sales people are dishonest, and are just in it for the commission. You will never get back in contact with them again. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ELIOT OR FIRST AMERICAN PAYMENT SYSTEMS. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY ANYWAY THEY CAN.
DONOT TRUST THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!! THEY WILL ILLEGALLY CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT. This company contacted me with a free trial, which I said ok to because a friend worked there. I could tell it was a scam, called and closed my account. Now, over 300 has been taken from my account. I was told today that I must send in a letter to close my account and that i would not be getting my money back. I NEVER USED THE EQUIPMENT AND THEY HAVE CHARGED ME OVER 300 DOLLARS!!!! WATCH OUT!!!!
This company contacted me .I assumed it was that they needed IT help. Only after ten phone calls back to them - they have the worst voicemail system in history - I found out they just trying to sell credit card processing.Wasted my time and they seem shady at best.
2 or 3 different reps contacted me and lied about the terms of service. After a couple weeks realized we did not like the service, it did not fit our office system, cancelled service with the rep. He said it was cancelled. Get billed a couple months later then receive an outrageous bill, with a notice of legal action, and customer service says terms are 3 year contract and they are still billing me. Al the initial reps who contacted me no longer work there. They made this sound like such a common practice for them it was scary. Lie, then bill you, then hit you with the fees.

Shady! Bad customer services, locked in contracts, raise rates horribly without informing you, lots of hidden costs. Worst mistake Ive made as a small business owner... Ive sense talked to the rep who signed me up with this service. She was wonderful then and helped me so much. Im going to continue with this company and hope things improve from here.

Woohoo !! Eliot was able to save me hundreds by switching from 1st Data over to them. But the main reason for my transition was the Ipad Based POS which simplifies everything and allows us to grow by utilizing features similar to the large retail companies.Ive seen the return in investment. Definitely looking forward to the future!Recommend! Awesome Job!

Eliot Management Group has to be one of the most crooked companies on earth!My business location is in Kansas City, MO - and the name of my company is SETCELL. In late January 2015 a very charming representative named Jerome Bolin approached my business with confidence - telling me that he knows for a fact that my current credit card processor is charging me astronomical fees as they are not a direct processor. He proceeded to communicate how his company can look over a processing statement to show what they were overcharging every month and by switching to them we would save an X amount of dollars guaranteed, and that he was offering me a risk free service by giving me a 30 day trial - to see the savings for myself.My business partner and I thought Well, if its going to save us money, why not try the trial. Well --- I cannot express how much of a mistake that decision was - We should have done our research - as I would have kindly dismissed any offers especially finding all of these reviews.Where to start -- Unbeknownst to us - Jerome Bolin had just started his job with Eliot Management Group - and we were actually first clients (Whatyaknow?) - and maybe it was his excitement and his promising words...During setup there were even red flags - And understand Jerome and the other 2 colleagues (who will be introduced soon) NEVER brought me a contract, I remember signing on one piece of paper - that was very generic and had no terms of agreement nothing, I was under the impression perhaps it was a piece of paper for Jerome to show his manager, regarding our trial.During setup - Jerome had problems connecting my POS system to the actual Fifth Third processor - He assured me he would make sure everything would transfer over smoothly and I would not have to intervene as he understands how valuable my time is- and besides he has amazing support and Eliot management processes millions maybe even billions of transactions everyday blah blah blah....So I believed him.Sure. He set it up.The problem was... He didnt really set it up.......After a week of using this Better, More Improved processor We realized....Hey weve been doing about $3,000 in credit cards a day for 7 days -- why havent we received any deposits????Come to find out - Jerome didnt understand the difference between a Host-based platform Vs a Host Based - Time initiated auto settlement platform. Apparently, if you dont talk to Fifth third to auto settle your batches - Your transactions will no batch and you will not receive funds.Now---- I had to intervene and figure this all out myself.. because Eliot Management Group sent in a new guy that HAD NO IDEA WHAT HE WAS DOING and caused total chaos for 11 consecutive days! Until, I was able to get this figured out.A man named Larry Tischler got involved. He was supposedly the Manger of Jeromes manager. This guy - HAD NO IDEA what he was doing. He kept blaming my last processor for the interference - and blah blah blah......When my POS system suggested we call Fifth Third -- Larry asks if I was going to lose $10,000 of sales transactions because they hadnt been batched -- luckily we had approval codes for all the purchases to manually batch them with Fifth Third....THAT IS ONLY ONE of the issues....Now... after that incident I was ready to jump ship after a week... I called Eliot Management to cancel my trial as that itself left a bad taste in my mouth.I was told...Uh....There is no trial, you are actually, in a 3 year contract with us...and it looks like you have two accounts with us I SAID WHAT 3 year contract!?!?!?! TWO ACCOUNTS!?!?!?! Your obviously reading the wrong account.... Nope... i was indeed in a contract for 3 years and they had also signed up my other retail location with NO PERMISSION... for 3 years....and there was zero talks about us even using the trial on that store....they only knew we had two stores because they requested my statement form my previous processor that showed the volume of both stores.Another problem has surfaced today..
