I take my 7 year old son here every 2-3 weeks for a fresh cut. This has been his only real barber shop experience. I know how tricky it can be to cut a young boys hair. They squirm in the chair and all that. James is his regular barber. He’s patient, friendly and my son loves his haircut every time. It’s right in our neighborhood which is important to me. Much love to James and the crew, they always make him feel welcome and we enjoy our “guy time” here. Highly recommended!

Just moved to KC and Went in to rayz to get a high and tight....I believe it was Ray that made the appointment for me for a couple days down the road he was very nice guy... Came in on a Saturday very early...there was only one gentleman in the very back corner cutting hair at that time in a line of men at least 5 to 10 strong... Everything seems really cool until I got in the chair. Then that changed... The guy that cut my hair had major attitude not social,not nice, i tried to even talk to him a little bit and tell him what I wanted he didnt want to hear anything about it... I did get a high and tight...went home to take a shower because I had an appointment and realized there was about six spots that he had missed..i couldnt believe it. I had to go to another barber to get it fixed before I could even leave to go out to work that day...Soo with that being said my 25 dollar hair cut with a 5 dollars for a tip tuned into 60 Dollar haircut day and a giant waste of my time... Very disappointed.. Im sure for most that go in there its a nice time, social, and comfortable. But not for me...Im sorry to say but I would not recommend this place to anyone period. Like I said before Ray seemed very cool when I went in for my appointment, and this is more about the gentlemen that cut my hair but how can it not be a reflection of the owner of he allows his employees to customers like that... Sorry but its the truth...

Every time my son and I go there, we are greeted with a smile, and the atmosphere is clam, they have music for children and adults as well. Most of all theres not a color barrier which is nice to see . Great Job !!!

I got a hair cut in July and the barber had a mask on and I did at first but he told me l didnt need one. It felt kind of uncomfortable. After the haircut I paid and dont plan on coming back.
