It was my first time going to a Lady Janes. I entered to see sports photos everywhere as well as decorations at each hair stylists stations. I had a hairstylist that was very nice did a good job on my hair. Normally when I go to places like before, theyd always cut my hair too short or not the way I enjoyed it. Here was extraordinarily different; I was very impressed with the haircut I got. Very professional atmosphere as well as a chill place to be. I would definitely recommend this place.Would recommend getting an appointment before visiting.

Went here on the morning my daughter was getting married. It was a Fri morning they open earlier on Friday. Walked right in no wait and got a great haircut. You have to wear a mask.

Overall just love the idea and pracfice of getting my hair cut by a bubbly attractive woman. and the prices are actually pretty nice. especially with never getting a wrong cut

I called first and setup a same day appointment without an issue. I got lucky and didnt have to wait when I arrived. The stylist was nice and we had a good conversation while she cut my hair. Ive never had a bad experience here.

People working at this place have absolutely no respect for customers. I went there at 3 o’clock to cut my hair without appointment. They told me will be 20 minutes and I sign in waited half hour later two girls told me that they have other customers to take care of them I have to wait till 5 o’clock. They waisted my time and still none of them apologized for their unprofessionalism and disorganized customer service. They don’t realize that I do send my patients to their get haircuts but that’s not going happen anymore neither me. All they have to do is to be honest and straight forward with people👎

The lady with the pink hair completely screwed up my hair. She seemed like she’s never seen curly hair. While she was trimming it with the scissors, she never held my hair to shape it or anything. She was trimming my hair like it was grass.Honestly, the WORSE place ever. I’ll have to go somewhere else to fix it. These are before and after pictures. Does this look good to you?

The lady with the pink mullet type of style, she can’t cut hair lol. First time going there and gave it the benefit of doubt but to anyone that is looking for a new barber or that goes there daily, I do not recommend her. But cool atmosphere! The people seem really cool. Try at your own risk (:

It’s a great place to get a haircut. The ladies are hot. Has chairs and TVs and stuff.They do color and styling and such. Razor shave and such.I have never had to wait more than 20 minutes, but I also don’t care who cuts my hair.It would be cool if they had refreshments while you wait

Posting for my husband who recently cut his quarantine locks. He came home looking like Zach Morris/ straight out of the 90’s and not in a good way. A month has come and gone and growing out his hair has gone from bad to worse. I’m assuming this salon is great at your basic cuts, however, if you are in need of professional guidance, advice, and someone who has the knowledge of styling longer locks- go somewhere else!

Kayla is an amazing stylist! She’s cut, colored and styled my hair for years! Would absolutely recommend her. She’s very professional, accommodating, friendly and very skilled with hair.

I used to really appreciate Lady Janes. The haircuts were generally pretty good.Unfortunately, they have become extremely unreliable. I had multiple appointments I waited 30+ and 60+ minutes for. Some I have walked out on. When attempting to walk in, the queue is usually 30 minutes or more.The customer service experience has also taken a big hit. There is a constant attitude of annoyance with most of the stylists working the front desk and answering the phone.

I’ve been coming here for the past two years because when I lived in Gladstone it was the closest to my place. I would get a bad trim from time to time, honestly that’s anywhere you go. But since I’ve had Austyn cut my hair, she’s never skipped a beat. It always comes out looking good even if I change up what I want. In the past year I moved 15 minutes away from Gladstone, but I still come back to see Austyn. She gives you the experience you would expect and takes consideration to remember details about you. Wouldn’t come back if she left.

Friendly, no pressure. Comfy chairs. Pandemic rules followed perfectly.

Been going there since I moved to the KC area in January. First place I tried and havent gone anywhere else. My stylist Meagan just has the best personality and is such a joy to talk to while getting a haircut. Her professionalism is top notch.

I had been getting my hair cuts at this location since they opened. About a month ago, I called to make an appointment and someone picked up the phone and just sat it down. I could hear people talking and background sounds but nobody was on the phone. After about a minute of this, I hung up and called back. When they answered, they answered it using a fake business name (presumably to make me think Id dialed a wrong number hoping Id hang up). I could hear multiple people laughing and then they hung up the phone. I called back to complain and was met with an attitude and snide remarks. I set my appointment with the Liberty place instead. I complained there and was told that they were going to pass my complaint on to the owner of the one on Antioch. I hope they did. Very unprofessional behavior. Ill be giving my money to the Liberty branch from now on.

Been going here for almost 2 years now and wouldnt consider going anywhere else. Austyn is my go to stylist, I always leave here with a fresh cut. I highly recommend Austyn as your pick to cut your hair, she wont do you wrong. She is a pro and always fun to talk to.

Great place to go to get a haircut. The people there are always nice and it is always clean. I always try to make a appointment, it is not required but it is advised at times.

Went yesterday. Was glad to be able to walk in and get worked in since they were taking appointments but not really busy. So that was a plus. However while getting my neck trimmed it felt like she was jamming the clipper into my neck and today I have a major burn all along the neck line.

Easily the worst haircut I’ve ever had. I arrived just as the opened and the entire staff was not ready for the day. I waited for 10 minutes while they got ready. The stylist that did my hair told me she had been there since this location opened. She didn’t listen to what I asked and the took a lot of creative freedoms with lining up the sides and the back of my hair. It’s completely uneven and noticeable. The stylist was clearly hungover based on the conversations she was having with her coworkers. Accountability, skill and retail attentiveness is lacking at location. For your money, I would recommend going anywhere else.

I don’t always get the same stylist. I know they work different hours and days, but I always walk in. That was my first mistake today I guess. I liked Leslie, but I don’t think she’s there anymore, so the last couple times I’ve seen Kelsey. She’s good too. Anytime I get somebody else that I don’t regularly see though it seems like they don’t want to do the razor neck shave. You should let your stylists know that if I go in there, and I’m sure I’m not the only one, and see a sign on your wall that says razor neck shaves included with every haircut, and then I don’t get one, that stylist is only getting tipped a dollar no matter how good she is otherwise for being lazy. One of the reasons I go there is for the razor neck shave. Not the tacky ambience. For future reference, a good haircut, a personable stylist, and a razor neck shave get a $10 tip.

I love going here. Especially Tasha. Shes always happy and her smile is infectious. Great tunes. Really nothing bad to say about any of the styles or the atmosphere they have created. Would go anywhere else.

My boyfriend didnt like his hair cut, he asked for a fade in back and 3/4 in on top, the lady said she didnt know what a fade was. Over decent haircut have had better he says.

Went here and myself and son (2 year old) got a haircut. They did a great job and the lady we had was very patient with my son. I will say the environment may be a little diff than what you would see in a typical barber/haircut place.

The environment here was great and friendly. Big Shoutout to Tisha !! Today was our son’s first haircut. He is only one and half years old. She did a wonderful job and was also patient and kind with him. I am very picky with my sons hair and she exceeded my expectations. Definitely will be my sons go to from now on! Great place to get your haircut. First off the staff was very nice. I then got my haircut from Natalie who did awesome. Add in a shave to neck and a hot towel...pretty awesome! Lets not forget that the barber chair was seriously the Cadillac of barber chairs. I could have fallen asleep. I recommend this place to anyone looking to get a great cut with an even better atmosphere.

Best fade ive gotten in years. And thats not even just because its only $16, which is insanely cheap for how good they are. If youre looking for a fade, and want to guarantee its going to be amazing make sure you ask for Karissa. She works on Mondays Wednesdays Fridays and Sundays. Kelsey also is one of their best stylist.

The salon opened about a year ago, and Ive been going to them ever since, never a bad haircut. Relatively a short wait on walk ins - they can make appointments if you like. Professional and courteous and only $15 for a (wet and) cut. Ask for Amber who works Tues, Weds., Fri. 10 - 8; Sat 9 - 6. About 8 total stylists at any given time to help you with products or cuts, etc. !

The stylist didnt talk much, which is nice. The hair cut was typical of your styslit with less than a one,o maybe two, year(s) experience. You can get a better beard trim and line cut for the same price elsewhere.

The stylists usually do a good job. They didn’t get 5 stars from me because it seems like as soon as I find a stylist I really like who does a perfect job every time, they are gone after just a few months.

Place is a mess, watched 3 people sit there and wait while one girl said she was waiting for her appointment that was already 15 minutes late sitting on her phone. Most of these ladies shouldn’t be wearing what they wear I took my kids in here and waited and walked out! Ladies need to cover up show our younger generation proper customer service! Not just sit on your phone and walk over and talk to other stylist when there are people waiting there turn! Place is a joke! It’s not a strip club ladies cover up! never Walk in there again

Great staff decent pricing. Prices went up from 12 bucks to 15 for a regular haircut. The staff is awesome and friendly. There can be very long wait times during certain hours of the day. Add on services are too pricey to justify. Overall a nice place to get a haircut.

After waiting what felt like forever, I finally got someone to cut my hair. Her trimmer was out of battery and she kept using it and it resulted in a choppy trim and after I got some product in my hair, I asked for her to thin out an area and she refused to do it because her scissor was expensive and didnt want to get product in it. She should probably find another line of work. Will never come back here!

I have followed Kassie for four years and she has been the best hairstylist I have ever had! I love lady Janes! Great atmosphere! Kassie has also continued to cut my husband and sons hair throughout these four years. She is AMAZING!

I used to visit the Overland Park store, but all the good stylist are up here in Gladstone. So now I frequent this location.Never had a bad visit, towels always hot, atmosphere is great.If you have had let downs at other locations come here they will take care of you...

If you have a bright neon sign that says “OPEN”, have your hours painted on the door, and a person inside walking around....unlock your doors and serve a customer. Was it close to closing time?, yes. But if closing is 8pm and it’s 7:30, then you can still take a customer. Or at the very least turn off the open sign.

This is the best place Ive ever gotten my haircut. True story- the very first time I went here a new girl, that was still very inexperienced gave me a pretty bad haircut and when I was checking out the manager came over and not only realized the sub par job, but had the tact and grace to not make it uncomfortable for me and ended up giving me the best haircut Id ever had. This place is a cut above the rest and Ill never go anywhere else.

The Kings Treatment with Aisha is an out of body, toe curling, better than your last, never a next experience. I am coming here after the oilfield hitches from now on cause it’s that GOOD!

I go to lady janes to get my hair did by Tasha she is so good. All the girls up there are really nice.

I liked the atmosphere. I would like to see males. But i get it. Lady janes. So all ladies. But its not the same.

This one is less than mile away from me so I decided to check it out. I thought what I explained would be good enough, a low fade on the sides and about an inch of the top. I said a one would be okay to start with on the low fade. She ended up taking it way above the ears and it ended up being a high fade or even a high and tight. The staff was nice though and the place was generally clean, one bad haircut is just enough for me.

By far the best haircut Ive ever had. Everyone there was really friendly and new exactly what to do.

The girl that cut my grandson’s hair yesterday (2/24/19) was more interested in checking and replying to her text messages then she was in taking care of her client. I assume she didn’t think I noticed as I was sitting in the lobby with a sleeping child on my lap. I noticed and believe it to be unprofessional behavior.

Ruby was amazing. The right amount of humor and she made sure my hair was exactly to my liking.

Did a great job with my 2 year old. TVs next to each chair with cartoons on deck kept my little guy still long enough for a great cut. Stylist was friendly and patient. Will definitely be back!

This place is awesome! Such a refreshing break when I decided to take a chance and stop in my first time at the overland park location. This is where I found Natile. I have since followed her to the Kansas City Missouri location off Antioch, despite the fact that I live in South joco, KS. She does an amazing job, and she does it with absolutely no help from me. Natalie does such an amazing job, I even get compliments from other stylists that I know. If you get the chance make an appointment with her you wont be disappointed.

Only women I trust to cut my mans hair. The girl Aisha is awesome. Totally recommend her.
