Kelvin is amazing! He’s been cutting my almost 6 year old sons hair for a while and we are constantly getting compliments and asked where he goes. My son loves him and everyone in there. The environment is awesome and they all talk to him like he’s big and he loves it!

Overall Im disappointed when comparing my haircut with the photos on the site. I asked for a bald fade on the sides and back and got some pretty janky lines instead. Particularly in the back. Also note the lack of a fade... The face shave was nice though.And to be fair, I thought he did a pretty good job with the rest of the do. Im not embarrassed to walk around this way or anything. Lol. I just didnt recieve the cut I was hoping for.

Been rocking with Les for over a year. Been extremely satisfied with every cut. The catalyst crew experience is bigger than just a haircut. Brianna and Major also cut my younger brother and cousin who prior to them hated haircuts. Not only did they love the haircut they received but they now enjoy getting them. Brianna is the absolute Best, she is funny, professional and even remembers conversations you had previously. I work in customer service myself & she impresses me every time. But, not just her, the crew around her all work well together and are super fun to be around. They feel like family to me, I live in Shawnee and will continue to drive 35 minutes for that service !

If you’re in and around the KCMO area then there is no better place to get a haircut. No matter what race or type of hair they do excellent work. The appointment process is smooth online at their website but they will also accommodate walk-ins. ..I mean where else can you get a bald-fade, listen to some reggae, watch some cartoons (if kids are waiting), get a facial mask, and have a beard humidifier blow on your face at the same time….I’ll wait…. Lol. Just go there and experience it yourself, you will not be disappointed.

Update went back 3-29-2021 and the cut was amazing and shave was great. I want to thank Kelvin for hooking me up. Definitely will be back!Went there for the first time on Monday and it’s a real cool place guys there are rad. Kelvin was my barber. Did a great job with my hair with little directions for me but what brings me to the 3 star instead of a 4 or five is because the only thing he used the straight edge for was for the lines for my hair and didn’t clean up the neck or my beard with it. Just took the razor and cleaned it that way. Definitely not poorly done just not as clean as I hoped when done. Sure I should have asked for it at the end but it was expected in that $65 package when it says they use them. I’d definitely go back to get my hair cut again just not my beard work.

We’ve been here twice for my 7 year olds haircuts. We use Major but all the barbers end results look great! And they are all so friendly and make for a great time! We will continue to use Catalyst for all our barber needs!Also brought my 17 year old brother in who hadn’t cut his hair in FOREVER and Tevon took on this major task and gave him what he wanted in a haircut!We love this place!!

My son went and seen Major. His line was crooked and his hair was cut all uneven! Had a patch on the top, back of his head, longer than the rest of his hair by 2 inches. He wanted all the blonde cut out and that patch was all blonde. Make it worse, prom was the next day! He was going to go back and have it corrected but he didn’t want to since he already had a bad experience. Paid for 75 min of cut time and he was out of there in 30-40 min. I also tipped 20% for a cut that was horrible. Sent an email, called and only one apologized was the lady answering the phone

One of the worst haircuts I’ve ever gotten. Barber seemed to be in a hurry and top of that was incompetent. The overall haircut took less than 30 minutes that’s how I knew I wasn’t going to be satisfied with the outcome.

Went and got my hair cut by Tevon. I’m pretty picky and usually only give barbers one chance to get it right. Tevon has got it right twice for me now! My 4 year old son has been going to Les since he was 1, les is amazing with the kids and is calm and compassionate! My oldest 16 year old son goes to him as well and he refuses to go to anyone BUT LES! His shop is clean and nice, his staff is wonderful! I’ve been going to Les for years. Les started out cutting my hair with an old rusty hatchet and a butter knife. I was always satisfied with the look, but he has only gotten better now that he has professional barber equipment and clippers. Edwin is heat too. I would give six stars if I could.
