Im not one to usually take the time to write a review, negative or positive, but Rici Worley provided such good service, I felt it necessary to pass on my kudos to him. I was very pleased with the work, his effort to explain to me what it was that he was doing and how the machine operated. I recently purchased a commercial range with convection oven. The convection ovens fan had stopped running. We called the Service Tech at General parts in KC and he was here to repair the equipment within 24 hours and was very professional, and helpful. David Jett took the time to show my Maintenance staff what he was doing to the equipment, made sure we had his business card and encouraged us to call him anytime if we need assistance. Danny Machado came to my Emporia store today for some warranty work. From a technician stand point I appreciated his thoroughness in checking the system in question out. He was very willing to answer any technical questions I had. After speaking with the store manager more info came to light. Danny was extremely respectful of the crew themselves and ensured he did not interrupt their work. He made sure his tools and other parts did not interfere in their tasks and treated each crew member with respect and politeness. The store manager, ms crystal, even said she would like to see danny come back for any work necessary. Overall fantastic service performed with respect and politeness throughout the process, I can only hope any other warranty issues are handled by Mr. Danny.

I had an emergency where I needed to remove old ovens from the store and replace with new ones in a location that is difficult to get to and find service. General Parts went above and beyond. They helped get this install coordinated extremely fast and were able to get a crew on short notice to do an overnight install.Robert and Russ were outstanding! They arrived early, greeted the staff and did a thorough walk through to make sure they were ready to go once the store closed. They made the install go smoothly and were educating us along the way. Russ, Robert and GP teams- Thank you for your hard work to make sure everything went great. Fantastic experience working with GP team. Would recommend this team to anyone and will be calling back if I need any more help.

We had what seemed like a chronic problem with one of our ranges. After many service calls GP was called in and they dispatched Brian Gray and Luke Wells to the site. They arrived early to get the work completed before the gold course opened for the day. They did not only fix the oven but I watched them go above and beyond and looked into why one of the oven doors would not close and fixed that. They are much appreciated in a service industry that from the moment they arrive on site, the operator is upset. They really care about the level of service they perform.

I run a large nursing home kitchen that has been operating for 20+ years. A lot of the equipment is original with the building. As is to be expected when something is used every day constantly for 20 years it starts to wear down and have issues. We use General Parts frequently, and Brian Gray is one of the technicians who comes out often. When Brian shows up I know we are in good hands. He has had some very challenging projects to do for us and has always done a great job. He is very professional and friendly and knows what hes doing, and he is a straight shooter. I would recommend him to anyone!

Had to call 3 times to actually get a person to speak to me and not be placed on hold forever - When I finally spoke to the man he was very rude, they dont have staff to run service but they wont tell you that until after you place a service call and wait and wait and wait and no one ever shows. I will never use this company again - If I could give a zero I would.

I trust and value General Parts for prompt and reliable service. We had an issue with heat lamps and time was of the essence. A service technician came out and repaired them in a timely manner with no disruption to food service. Our customer received the bill and sent it to me. I sent it to Ernie Ketcham for help and he got it billed direct to us. One day later we paid the invoice for our customer and all is well. Thanks General Parts.

Luke, Robert, and Josh installed a Rational Combi-Oven for our kitchen and I just want to say that I appreciate the great job they did- they were very professional and went above and beyond what typical service technicians do. They didnt cut corners, they worked clean and efficient, and they were just really nice people to work with. We had a special need to have the installation done quickly, and they stayed with the job to make sure it was completed before our deadline. I have an ice machine that was not making ice and the service Technician (Danny Machado) was out when he said he would be there, stayed 2 hours, ran a lot of test. He also explained the service coverage plan that general parts offers. so, after the 3 day weekend I come in to find my ice maker is competently full of beautiful thick walled, full bodied ice cubes! great job on my ice machine.

Horrible experience. Almost thirty years in commercial kitchens, and this is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a service company.I called for an oven that wasnt working properly. Their tech arrived the next day and spent just over an hour diagnosing the problem. Parts not in stock, need to be ordered. Great, i say just send me a quote for the repair. They never send the quote, but what they do send is a bill for almost $300 dollars. They didnt even fix anything. It turns out they charge, even locally, $140 just to get the tech to your location. They charge over $100 per hour after the tech is there as well. The manager on the phone actually tried to tell me that $140 dollars is what it actually costs to pay the techs travel time. I can drive to their business location in about 15 minutes, but it costs them $140 to get a person to my door? Then they have the audacity to charge me another $130 to not fix anything? You would get better results if you put your money in a pile and burned it than throwing it away to this unethical company. Call somebody, anybody else before you waste your time and money.

What a rip off!!! I lugged a cooler down there to them to save a little money. They charged me a decent amount to take a look at it. They told me the compressor was the shot and wanted $1500 to replace it on a $1700 cooler. I cut my losses and got a different cooler. I recently needed work on a different thing at my restaurant and while Lloyds was repairing that I asked them to take a look at. Fixed in 10 minutes. It needed a few things but not a new compressor and for no where near the outrages quote of $1500...

Called on a Friday, authorized overtime service call. No show no call all weekend. Called on Monday- nothing. Called Wednesday morning- finally @ 11:30am (lunch time) a service person showed up at our restaurant...as we are running pizzas through our pizza oven...and states that he cant just wait around while we cook our pizzas and states he was instructed to leave. It takes 6 minutes to run a pizza through. I will never use this company again. I will add, the customer service staff (phones) are very friendly & pleasant to deal w/. Although there was definitely a ball dropped somewhere over the 5 day window.

Horrible company, called and set an appointment for an in warranty repair. Nobody showed up for the appointment. Called again, they apologized gave me an excuse, and set another appointment. Guess what, nobody showed up AGAIN. After three weeks, of excuses and apologies a technician finally showed up, just to say he couldnt repair it, until the necessary part arrived and it would take an additional week for shipping. I called Maas Mechanical, and had my refrigeration unit repaired within 24 hours. Had to pay for it, but at least it works! PS- nobody ever came back with the necessary component, I never called to cancel or informed them I already repaired out of pocket. As far theyre aware Im still waiting for them to come fix it.
