Had a nice conversation with Dave on the phone. He came to my house, never asked one question about what we were looking for except what we wanted to spend on this pool. He showed me a book of pictures, I’m assuming so I could compliment he past jobs. He brought up 3x about the 340k job he quoted yesterday, name dropped some of his big wig clients and then left. He said he was back logged 2 weeks and would call to set up an appointment to view his plan since he doesn’t share his plans with customers because they use them with other pool builders. Hummm!!!! 3.5 weeks later, no response to emails, calls or texts. I guess my 100k pool wasn’t good enough. Bad business from the get go. I should have checked his BBB profile from start. No thanks, I’ll use a more professional company. Don’t waste your time with this one.

I would give this company 10 stars if I could. Everyone that steps into our backyard is absolutely wowed by our pool area. Chip and Dave were very professional, accessible, and attentive throughout the entire process. We got quotes from 4 companies; Artisan was right in the middle. What sold us was the professionalism of the two as well as the very high quality equipment they were offering (far superior equipment to others working within our budget).In the past, I have worked in and around pools as a manager and have maintained residential pools with major pool company for 10+ years. I have seen and worked on A TON of pools. Trust me when I say that the workmanship and quality of materials Artisan provided is second to none as was the professionalism of Dave, Chip, and every subcontractor I spoke with during the build.As I said, everyone that steps into our backyard cannot stop complimenting our pool and the surrounding decking/artificial turf/landscaping (we also purchased some huge palms that they installed). We will soon be in the market to add a cabana/bar/bathroom and already know without question that Artisan will be our choice for that build as well.

I feel compelled to write a review because my experience this morning was ridiculous. I setup time with Dave to come look at our property for a swimming pool at 10AM this morning. 9:58 my boss calls me... i ran to the door at 10:01 when Dave rang the doorbell and I politely asked for 5 minutes since i had an urgent phone call. He seemed caught off guard, but i ran back inside to finish up my call.I texted him at 10:09 indicating that i was wrapping up and politely asked if he had a few minutes. He responded with I dont and left promptly at 10:10. I called twice and sent text messages without any response.Everyone has their own personal situation while working and living at home. Sometimes things pop up, and if this is how Dave is going to handle a 10 minute delay on my end, how is he going to handle issues that pop up during our project? Sorry Dave, ill find someone else.

I was impressed by the work of Dave, who is the designing master-mind of Artisan Pools. He patiently understood my requirements and designed me studio exactly how I had imagined it in my mind. They deserve all the praises.

I heard a lot about this company so I thought to give it a try. Both Dave and Chip are amazing at their job. Dave gave me a clear representation of what the design would be and Chip executed the plan smoothly.

Completely unprofessional! Instead of trying to work with us within our budget, Daves attitude was as if he was too good for us. He said he wasnt going to provide drawings/sketches with an estimate, because people use them for other companies. My husband had to take an emergency work call- Dave clearly didnt want to deal with me (the wife). He packed up his stuff and walked away from the appointment. We have had 5 companies quote us, and not one of them was this unprofessional. Read the rest of the reviews on this company- not shocked by what others said based on my experience! FYI Dave, its 2020- women are more than capable of handling business and decisions of this nature.

Chip and Dave designed and built my landscaping and pool. I expected problems with a project the size of mine, and we did have a few. But all were resolved and my pool, landscape, landscape lighting and sod look great! Id use them again.

DO NOT USE THIS POOL COMPANY!!! For $70,000 you would expect professional sales people and owner. Similar to other reviews, the owner did not return calls, many, many delays and the project was never completed. Dave the salesman cursed out our bank regarding payment (which was wired to their account). Chip the owner refused to return calls, made empty promises and continued to delay the project. Our contract even states 2 lights in our pool and we only have 1!! The project has NOT been completed to this day!Again, DO NOT USE THIS POOL COMPANY!!

Pool looked great for 6 months now the mortar is falling out all around the stone, falling out everywhere. We complained and Chip said it was normal and now it looks terrible ! Chip will not answer any messages and we are forced to hire a Attorney now .Please beware, we gave him a good review originally and now realize he is so dishonest.

I had to replace the sod they installed at my expense. It died shortly after they installed. Many promises un kept. Shrubs died within 2 months of installation. Difficulty getting phone calls returned. I am in the process of replacing shrubs...again at my expense. Also had to have the fountain releveled at my expense. As much as I liked the owner(Chip) it’s clear he doesn’t value his customers. Go elsewhere for your landscape(operating as Earthworks) and pool (operating as Artisan)needs.

Worst contractor experience Ive ever had. Damaged my home and abandoned the job. Had to win a judgement against them in court to recover my costs. Steer clear.

WORST company will not return calls, DAMAGED OUR POOL PUMP AND POOL CRACKING, less than year, Pebble tek suck also, no one standing by warranty .
