Took my phone in wasnt working correctly. Staff was real friendly. The person that helped me with my phone, did so patiently and thoroughly. After a little bit it was all fixed. He and adjusted some things and gave me tips on things not to do on my phone. Like I had two cleaning, boasting, apps. He said my phone didnt need that and using that could cause problems! Soon it was fixed and me and my friend we on our way.Very great experience!! Clean store! FriendlyStaff. Informative person who helped me with my phone issues! Chairs provided to sit while phone was being corrected!!All over great experience! Getting ready to go back for an upgrade!!

Bryan our technician was the BEST!! He was so funny, made us feel so comfortable and gave a great laugh the entire time. He got everything set up in such a quick time and was able to give some advice with my work from home set up. Give that man a raise!!

I am pleased with service we have with spectrum and was not pleased with customer service gentleman as we were literally there 2 times as we came back after hour and a half later only to wait for another 45 minutes to hour because the gentleman helping us could not understand how to port my husbands numbers and photos. Was not even done correctly when we left to go home. I had to charge an older phone to find contacts from that phone and input them myself. Education is key on this review.. but service from the company is and seems good

I went into store to replace a cable box that was sent to me in error. I was to get a dvr box. The representative assured me that the one he was giving me was a dvr box. I went home and called to activate it and low and behold it was not a dvr box. Now I have to wait 2 more days for a technician to come out. Hopefully with the right box.

I do NOT like Spectrum at all. This store made it no better! An old lady came in and during my extremely LONG wait I had to assist her in paying her bill. The ONLY highlight was OCTAVIA, the associate! She was AMAZING! I was ready to cuss but she was so very kind that I could not!

Any interaction with spectrum is always a bad one. They treat their customers right in front of them like they dont exist, too busy making plans to eat lunch. If you have any other internet/cable/phone options take it, heed my warning! Dont get scammed into price hikes every year for the same terrible service.

Spectrum, as an internet provider, really needs to up their game when it comes to service. Just recently I got a new modem and a new router but my problems did not end. Needless to say, I very much regret that I have Spectrum internet provider and as my mobile service provider. Their mobile service is at best okay. I recently got a new Galaxy from Spectrum but I dont get my voicemails. So therefore throughout the day I have to check my voicemail by calling the voice mailbox. That is so disgusting, I cant tell you how many messages Ive lost. The price is good but overall service needs to improve.

Terrible experience, I cant get into all of the issues in this forum. It doesnt involve billing or payments, its just no follow-up by management after promising it, misleading and or lying statements, to basically get me off the phone. I can accurately say there is no knowledge of whats happening in the field, or they are totally ignorant of their own practices, or unaware. I will never use them again, subscribers BEWARE !!! Horrible company

Went to sign up for mobile service after going through the whole process they wanted me to go home and wait several days for the new phone than return to thier office with the new phones to activate. Really!!!! It makes me question their customer service if this is how they are treating a new mobile customer.

Well.... I went to turn in some cable boxes...the gentleman complained about my situation more than I did and how the workflow at Spectrum doent make sense and so on...he accidentally removed my authorized user from the account...So as long as after everything went through and I checked my account there were a couple minor mistakes so I had to call customer service... Next time I might just try another location if I need to visit location.

Terrible customer service. I have no choice but to be a customer of Spectrum due to my apartment having my utilities included. The staff is not friendly, no smiling. After being helped by someone who clearly is not a people person, I went home to discover that I was missing equipment. I called customer service and experienced an extremely delightful associate who instructed me to go back to the store. Once again, met with unfriendly service. Not one single apology for the inconvenience.

I went in for Spectrum Mobile. Autumn did a great job getting me set up, while multitasking to take care of people paying bills, so that everyone had as little wait as possible. I was very happy with how everything was handled. Then i end up saving over $40 from my old carrier with much better service. Im telling everyone.

Was very happy with the results. I purchased a mobile phone and plan over the telephone. Set up the phone and it worked for three days. I called Spectrum with my friends phone and explaind what I am experiencing they said that they would be in touch but I have not heard from anyone yet. I used my phone in my work. Without a phone I can not work. Today I decided to find a Spectrum store to see if they would be able to help. They said that I would have to contact the manufacturer of the phone to exchange, not what I wanted to hear. If this is how they handle problems with product I would never recommend purchasing anything from Spectrum. I do not blame the retail location because I did the purchase over the phone. I am waiting to hear from someone to resolve this matter. They have my Email and text which I am able to receive and also my friends phone.

We made an appointment twice for this location for 6:20pm one on Wednesday and the other Thursday. Wednesday we noticed the new hours were till 6pm except for Thursday they are open till 8pm. So we made the new appointment for the next day. We show up early right before 6pm and the store was closed. We were every upset because we should not be able to make appointments. When I tried to get the attention of one of the 4 people inside to let them know, they waved us on and motioned for us to leave. This was extremely rude and unprofessional.

My daughter!bought a phone from Apple for my Birthday. She brought it to the Spectrum Store in University. Well the treatment she received via the James (Tim) was very inappropriate and harming. We went to the Kannapolis store and was very satisfied with the customer care there. So be prepared for poor customer service from the University Ikea Spectrum Store.

If I could give this place a negative star I would have! I went in to return a converter box for my 77 year-old mother. I am not on this account and I have returned things for my mother before. After waiting 45 minutes a very rude associate called me up. She acted like I was bothering her. I told her that I needed to return this for my mother gave the phone number and my mothers name. Again she acted like it was a total disruption of her day to even wait on me. Then she proceeded to tell me that she needed my drivers license information. I proceeded to tell her that she did not because I am not on this account. Then she insisted that my 77 disabled mother would have to come in to return this item. I informed her that if my mother was able to do this she would have and that we had done transactions like this before and my mother had never had to come in. I just cannot stress how rude this person was!Its terrible customer service like this that is the reason that I do not have their service!

Spectrum representative quoted me a price, spectrum billing was $30 more. The free on demand didnt work all the time, and some of the channels didnt work all the time. I scheduled to shut off on May 25th, and they shut it off. Then sent me a bill for the this next month. Liars idiots and morons complete false representation.

I have tried calling spectrum for the past week to cancel my internet and have been on hold for 45 minutes each time.. today I tried calling and instead this time I said I wanted to upgrade my account and it went straight to a customer service representative.. I told the customer service representative I actually wanted to cancel it, she said that she couldnt do and needed to put me on hold for someone who could... Which is BS!!! I went back on hold for 20 MINUTES and never got to speak with anyone!!Im still currently trying to cancel my internet, once I do finally get it cancel I will NEVER go back to spectrum!

Been waiting for 2 years for them to have service at my address i call every now and then to check up. They have it on all the roads around my house so i called and checked and they said my address is now serviceable went over the address 4 times set up a date for them to come out .around 230 i called to check up and on hold for 45 mins i hung up called another department and was told my address is not serviceable now. So wasted hope and wasted time . not sure ill be getting them now not excited at all anymore i had all my neighbors excited to now my whole neighborhood will dislike spectrum as well . spectrum your liars

Autumn took care of me. For the first time being here customer service was TERRIBLE . Store is nice and clean well organized. I simply came in for a cord for my modem. She called out my name didn’t even say how may I help you no how are you she was just standing there. I told her I needed a cord since mine my rabbit chewed. She looked for it and she was like here you go. The first cord she gave me didn’t even fit. Then she grabbed the same chewed cord I had given her and she was like here. And I’m like I just gave you this one. So she goes back in the closet to look for another she hands it over to me and I had asked her several times if she could plug it up just to make sure it worked. And she said the plugs are on the table. Man do I tell you. She didn’t even want to plug it in for me to see if it worked. Looks like spectrum will hire just anyone sheesh. Next time I’ll gladly wait for the cord in the mail. I wouldn’t waste my time here again.

First off this isnt a poor review of this store, this is a poor review of Spectrum as a whole. Poor reliability of internet and terrible customer service when dealing with corporate. Finally canceled our service two days into the billing period and was told we had to pay the whole bill...all I got out of the customer service rep was sorry. For the high amount that they charge for their services you would think they would be stellar, glad we canceled and switched to their competitor!

Went in to pay wifi bill & had trouble using the kiosk. I tried walking up to a customer service rep & was told she couldnt help me b/c I hadnt signed in. As soon as she realized I didnt know to sign in she asked what I needed. It was simple, she helped & I finished up on the kiosk. Very quick visit!

This company is terrible with service in North Carolina. Make sure if you call them about your cable and internet not working, you keep documentation. They will still charge you even if your service isn’t working.They are very misleading. Beware and be prepared for horrible service. The technicians will lie to you and write something completely different on your work orders. Not to mention the price for this cable company is outrageous. Don’t fall for the promotions it’s a scam!

AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE last night, by Ms. Toni. Went back today for clarification on mobile services/ education on how to make our new services work the best for US, was assisted by a VERY RUDE, NOT SO NICE LADY that wasnt even wearing a name tag, but basically called me dumb in every fashion except those specific words! She had really big, gold hoop earrings, really big round eyes, salon styled looking updo, and was big boned.... I would of given this a 10* rating if it was based on Ms. Toni!!! The other girl needs Jesus in her life or a new line of work because CUSTOMER SERVICE is NOT her forte!!!!

Employees at this location will take care of all your services without having to be transferred to several other people (when you call). They will quote much better pricing options for home services and can set up immediate service calls (in the same day) to your home. First time in-store experience and I was totally surprised. Lowered bill, more options & home wi-fi can now do what they advertise. Wow!

Bought $800 phone and paid full price, got home and noticed crack when took out of box to set up, called spectrum to report and they said to return within 14 days for exchange, Brian at store has no customer service skills, very rude, said I had to have broken the phone and nothing could be done, not a good decision to switch to spectrum! Awful store to deal with, he also contacted manager and she would not help
