My tax preparer, Karla, was absolutely amazing!

The tax professionals who work at my location are great. However, they suggest using the Emerald Prepaid Mastercard to load stimulus and tax returns on. This is a HUGE mistake. The Emerald Card is a racket. It does not transfer between banks that most people use. The associated app is always giving you exclamatory updates and notifications that are 3 months old. There is a $3.00 fee for everything except point of sale purchases and if those point of sale purchases are at a gas station, there are holds to contend with. Recently, they decided to change my PIN without notifying me and everyone in line behind me at the gas station was annoyed with me but it was an emergency purchase as my tank was on empty. Hours later when that was finally dealt with they had the gall to charge me convenience fees to change my pin back to what it was and withdraw all but $16 in cash from a nearby ATM. Everything is an expensive headache with that card and I will avoid doing business with H&R Block bevause if they REALLY cared, they would suggest NOT using it. They dont even employ real Americans to work in their service centers which are all located in India (where the same call centers are used to run those your personal computer has a virus scams).

My taxes are too difficult to do myself so I love that I can come and get them done. My professional finds every deduction that she can and makes sure that we get a good refund.

I just love HnR. And my Specialist Sherrie Crittenden that I have worked with for the past three years is an amazing person who surpasses all expectations in service. Will return next year definitely.
