I originally took my 360 FE engine to Bart at Motion Engine Machine to clean the parts and check everything over and do the machining that he thought needed to be done so I could attempt my first rebuild. Unfortunately I didn’t measure the push rods correctly and ended up bending the pushrods and most of the valves. I called Bart at Motion Engine Machine and explained what happened he told me to bring it down to his shop and he helped me rebuild it again the correct way over the course of 2 months he squeezed me in between his many other projects and he went out of his way to help me finish my project. The price was very fair. I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. I highly recommend Bart at Motion Engine Machine!

1990 f150 with 351W was worn out after 30 years of use. I compared every engine builder in 200 miles for price, quality of build, reputation, knowledge, and availability. Also priced out reman long blocks. Bart at Motion is a knowledgeable, one man shop with years of experience, takes pride in his work and he quoted me a fair price. I brought my long block to him asking for a stock rebuild. In three weeks it was all wrapped up and ready for pick up. Completed price was fair. Anything out of the ordinary, he called about, like needing to sleeve one cylinder and replacing the harmonic balancer. Good communication, but since he has been around equipment his whole life, I must say the communication was best either in person or by email (talking on the phone was harder). After paying my bill and getting my engine back it took me a couple weeks to install and get everything hooked back up properly, initial start up was amazing. Now some 500 miles later there’s no leaks, no noise and the motor is smooth and strong. I couldn’t be more pleased with Bart at Engine motion machine. The old Ford has a new lease on life.

Great place, i had my head rebuilt and had a great experience. The owner Bart is very knowledgeable and capable, service is excellent and the price was right. The only place in the valley Id recommend for engine machining. Cute shop dogs too!
