Took my car to have the exhaust gaskets replaced. They couldnt find the downpipe gaskets and had me order them. I called to double check what gaskets I needed, either a 4 or a 5 bolt. They told me 4 bolt. So I order the 4 bolt gasket. Scheduled an appointment to get the gaskets replaced, theyre the wrong gaskets, you need a 5 or 6 bolt. #1 Nissan never offered a 6 bolt, I confronted the mechanic saying I called to verify what bolt gasket I needed and you said 4 bolt. If you dont want to work on my vehicle just say so. Dont waste my time saying youll do it and then tell me I ordered the wrong gaskets. Now I remember why I stopped going to automation in the first place. Find a different shop that wont screw you over. I recommend Clark Nissan Hyundai. Always treated me right. Should have gone there in the first place

They said “bring it in today and we will work it in!” I was so relieved since my son Was scheduled for his drivers test that afternoon! They had it done by 2:30 and it was less than they quoted me. Absolutely the best! I was in town on vacation for a couple days and started to have trouble with my fairly low mileage newer car. I took it to the dealership who told me they needed it for at least 2 or 3 days even to look at it and probably couldnt get to fixing it for 3 weeks. Warranty or not of course this wasnt going to work as I was just in town for a short vacation. Called Rons and spoke on the phone to a very nice lady who said they were very busy but told me to bring the car in right after lunch and they would see if what I thought was wrong was actually correct. She had a mechanic test it right away and confirmed it was what I thought. They came up with a solution to get me back on the road and even tried to get the manufacturer to cover it with warranty. Rons treated me as if I had been a customer of theirs for years and even though I had never met these people before they understood that when a person is from out of town and in a bit of a pinch time wise, parts availability etc did above and beyond the job. I cant say enough about helping me out like that. Wonderful people and service from start to finish.

These folks were referred to me. I was having some awful vibration in my front wheels. They had me scheduled for Tuesday, but I dropped it off Friday evening. They had it looked at by Monday and fixed by Wednesday. I noticed another noise as I was driving to work the next day. They let me bring it in first thing and diagnosed a wheel barring that was just starting to go out and was masked by the more severe vibration that they fixed. They gave me an estimate that was very reasonable and didnt charge me for the diagnosis. They were super nice and I will be using them again in the future.

I previously brought my vehicle in for a problem they fixed. Later I called to see if they could look at it for something I was feeling in the front end. They looked at the schedule and fit me in the same day. They thoroughly went through the front end concluding there wasnt anything wrong, provided me with a possible solution, and referred me to a co who specialized in it. It ended up being cupping of tires, causing a lot of noise in the front end. They could have made up something just to create work and charge me but they didnt. Aside from customer service and doing the job right I know I can trust them, which means the most.

I was so impressed with the new muffler that was put on my car. They were polite and didnt work on my car till I was given a quote. I even called after I left because my care was like a brand new car and I wanted to thank them again.

Took my truck there to get allied. Appt was at 11. They didnt take the truck back till 2 hrs of me sitting there then took it back for only 5 min to come back and say they couldnt do anything cause the ball joint where bad. Took it to get another opinion and my ball joint where perfectly fine. I will never personally recommend anyone to go there

Took my car in to have them inspect the exhaust system, and they didnt find anything wrong with the exhaust, and pointed out a separate minor problem I already knew about. And then didnt even charge for the inspection. So very honest and helpful. Highly recommend.

After putting a lift kit on my truck I had attempted to get it aligned at other shops 4 different times. 1 of them ruined my front tires. after coming to the conclusion of what they had said was with a lift kit sometimes they cannot be aligned, i was prepared to spend $600 on top shelf components so that I could get it aligned. having recently moved into Kalispell I figured I would give Rons alignment a shot before forking out the money. Mike worked on it and in less than an hour it was 98% fixed and with one additional tweak it is now perfect. If I ever need work done again Rons will have my business.

I Took my car in for an alignment and waited while it was done. Of course I heard a lot of interactions ... I was SO POSITIVELY impressed with not only their professional manner but even more with their genuine kindness and care. Apparently a customer complained about a job done so the employee was called to the office. Ron w explained the situation, and was quick to assure the employee he did NOTHING wrong—- he did the job right but that he would like him to redo something on it to appease the customer. ( having worked retail we all know there are customers who will complain no matter how good the service/job done is) Ron not only delivers excellent quality work and customer service but even more impressive is his fair and kind treatment to his employees! Everyone in that office is just a genuine nice person with excellent integrity. I AM so happy to have them work on my car!

Took my firebird in for alignment and the tierod was never clamped down after they adjusted it. This is dangerous and unacceptable, when left unsecured the tie rod will work its way out simply from bumps in the road and you will be left with a car thats front wheels move independently of one another. In other words your steering wheel quits working. Do not give them your business.

Although they are a little higher priced than others, they do great work.I brought them my car to complete an alignment. Their thorough review of my vehicles frontend during the alignment work led them to tighten a bolt that was apparently loose, which solved a creaking sound that I had been trying to figure out for months (but had not mentioned to their staff, as I had given up on figuring out that issue). Yet, Rons staff found it and corrected it, even though that issue was not part of the requested work.For comparison, I had brought my car in a few weeks prior to that work Les Schwab staff, to address that very issue, and to another mechanic prior to that to try to fix it. Both were unable to find the specific source of the creaking, and instead recommended hundreds of dollars of replacement parts and work to refresh the suspension on the vehicle. Rons staff found it and corrected it, even without my asking and without charging me for the fix. Thank you!

I am coming back to edit my review. Below is the original post however when I went in to pick up my truck, they took the time to not only apologize but also had the mechanic come out and explain why he changed the rotors, why rotors need to be changed, showed me good and bad rotors and he apologized for not calling ahead of time.Took my truck in to get front end alignment and brake pads (just pads) changed. When they called my husband because it was ready for pick up, they also dropped the bomb that bill was $200 more than quoted because they had to change the rotors because it was metal on metal. I just put new tires on 4 days ago and looked and did not see any metal on metal. IF there was in fact metal on metal, they should have called me to tell me about the additional expense before changing it out. When I complained that I didnt agree to the additional expense, the response was, we can put the old ones back on... No apology, no how can we make this right, nothing. Very poor customer service and very bad business model. You dont quote one price and then charge another without verifying with the owner.

Brought my truck in a few months ago for an alignment. I was told they couldnt do an alignment because my lower ball joints were bad and they needed to be replaced (for approx $700 if they did the work) before they could perform an alignment. Knowing I had just replaced the upper and lower joints 30K miles ago, I questioned it. I was told, whoever you had do the work probably used faulty parts. Suspicious, I had my own mechanic check the ball joints and low and behold, they were fine. Consequently, I will never be back.

Traveling through Kalispell in our 37 motor home plus tow dolly and was experiencing engine problems. I called and spoke to Chad and he asked me to bring it by and they will try to look at it that day but it may have to wait until the next day. They had an oversized parking lot that we could dry camp over night if we needed to. I got there and let Chad know I was there. He said their guys were at lunch and would come to the motorhome in about 45 minutes to put the computer on it. In 15 minutes Blaze should up at the motorhome to check it out. I asked how come so soon and he said he was bored with his lunch time and decided to come out now. Long story short he discovered the mass air flow sensor was wet and put in a new air filter and I was back on the road in 2.5 hours. I was so impressed with their level of knowledge and experience working on my 2002 Newmar vortex gas engine.

Took my Honda into get a 4 wheel alignment and was told it needed parts replaced. I asked which parts and how much it would be to get parts replaced and was informed that since I had previously had someone else work on my Honda that he didnt have time to write up estimates because it takes takes him 2 hours. I had just had my 2008 Ford truck fixed there 2 months previous but apparently it wasnt enough to qualify us to get an estimate done. Thanks Chad horrible customer service.

Even though this shop was much better when Ron actually owned it, itll be ok if you just need an alignment done. Anything that involves replacement parts, one should go elsewhere. They buy reasonable quality parts for a higher than average wholesale cost then mark them up even higher. I would refer only canadians to Rons Alignment.

I just left Walmart and headed home, I started hearing noises on the right front tire, the steering wheel started the wobble. So I turned on North Meridian and turn left into Rons alignment and Auto Works. Chad took it for a test drive told me what was wrong. They replaced my front CV joint and in 52 minutes I was back on the road again, get this it was a Friday night!!! I highly recommend this place to anybody that reads this woohoo to Rons Alignment & Auto Works.

Im so confused at how two businesses can be intermingled and not keep their customers straight in an already confusing world....my dad and I waited for an alignment for almost two hours b4 someone asked if we were in the right place, they even took our truck in🤯..put us in a waiting room ..never returned!..
