After years of working as community partners, Advocacy Services for Kids (ASK) and Parent to Parent of SW MI (P2P) are planning to come together by merging into one organization with a greater capacity to serve families and their children who have developmental, mood, emotional or behavioral challenges. Both agencies’ boards have signed a plan of merger to be effective October 1, 2017. We are super excited to introduce our new organization, ASK Family Services!The missions of ASK and P2P are intertwined as both organizations work to engage and empower families and youth by sharing their own lived experiences and strengths. By merging, we hope that our community resources will be maximized and used more efficiently, allowing us to reach more families and youth.From Website of ASK Family servicesI serviced on the board of P2P for 4 yrs.
