I was promised a time sensitive package would be able to be held for pickup for me to get by the end of the business day and it didn’t arrive until 10pm - resulting in it being extremely late. The customer service number listed for UPS is useless, you have to fight with the robot to actually be able to talk to anyone real and even then - they’re not helpful in the situation.
Multiple times now I have been told a package is being held at the Kalamazoo location, only to find out it is Battlecreek instead. The automated number is the worst I have ever experienced, and even when I finally talked to a human (probably in India) they told me the package was in Kalamazoo, which was incorrect, so even their own customer service doesnt have correct tracking information. This has caused me to drive literally hours, to get a single package. Totally unacceptable. Use literally any other shipping company if at all possible. Hire a horse and pony, it would be better than dealing with UPS Customer centerNext a UPS employee will copy/past a generic response to this poor review, typical lack of personalized care for customers.
UPS is incompetent and they do not deserve to call themselves a shipping company. Its more of a, well see if we feel like delivering it and if not, then well make you the customer jump through hoops for several hours trying to figure out what happened. have fun lol company. Looking at the other reviews now, it seems that this is an EXTREMELY COMMON PROBLEM. Its obvious now the driver didnt want to deliver and cut out early.UPS, yall are beyond incompetent. Customer service system is absolutely horrible! Every time you try to get to a customer rep it will find someway to avoid you getting to someone and hang up on you. It is the most ridiculous system I’ve ever dealt with.
Customer service so bad I just reported them to corporate, and to my surprise, managed to talk to an agent (not a robot) who took my claims very seriously. The complete and utter incompetence of their employees is astounding. 1) They dont knock 2) They tell you lies so they dont have to deal with you . . . well that backfired:)
Ridiculous that I call UPS twice during the day, being told both times that I will be able to pickup my package. Then I get a call from the facility telling me the package is in a semi-truck for the weekend and they wont be able to get the package for me. Horrible customer service.

What a joke of a business. I got an email saying they had trouble delivering my package due to an address issue. Talked to 3 different people and they all said the address was correct and I would receive it the next business day... so what was the issue??? It is now my new delivery day and there is no update on the tracking info and I can’t get through to anyone. I have no clue where my stuff is and no one wants to help me. I noticed in the other reviews they reply and say to contact them on social media but I’ve tried that too. I have also been told to make an account and I’ve tried 3 times and all of my info is correct and I just get “cannot process request” everytime I try...so what am I supposed to do??? I have never experienced worse customer service in my life.

Just moved to a new place and my mattress was supposed to arrive yesterday. I was home all day and night then around 7 p.m. I received a notification that a delivery attempt was made and an invoice note was left. The driver must have decided to just cut out early because I have motion cameras and a UPS truck never even drove passed my place let alone an attempted delivery. Even if an attempt was made, no signature was required so the package should have been left regardless. Now I have no bed until Monday and I called to complain but it seems that drivers are not held responsible for failure to due their job. Seriously though, I checked my camera footage saved for every time it detected motion for the entire day. UPS never showed up!!!
This customer care center is an utter failure when it comes to delivering a package and it doesnt help that there is no way of getting in contact with any person that can help. The only way to get assistance is through a 3rd world country and they have told me 4 times over 4 days that someone from this local facility would call within an hour. I have gotten no call. They have a package that they delivered to the wrong address 3 times and no delivered a 4th. The tracking is completely correct and despite my calling and confirming where it needs to go they cannot deliver it. Assumption is that it has a bad label but you would think the tracking information along with my repeated calls would get a new label affixed. Finally with a manager calling the service center and speaking to Jennifer I was assured Jennifer would pull it from the customer care pickup area and guaranteed it would be on the truck for delivery next day. It did not ship. 12 calls to customer service and 4 deliveries to the wrong address for a package with complete tracking # and the correct addressed assigned to tracking #. How is this possible?

Did not knock on my door when the first delivery attempt was made. When I asked a driver if he had seen my package the next day, he rudely said he put it on another truck. While I asked if he knew an approximation of where the other truck was he cut me off with a NO! Did not receive a note that the final delivery was attempted and again they did not knock.. I have never had this many problems with a delivery in my life. I understand this is a difficult time, but were all going through it. Do they just expect everyone to be home all day?
Came to my door twice, made no effort to actually knock on the door. I know because I was home both times, and neither myself or my loud mouth dog notified me of someone at the door. Called UPS, said I could pick up at the distribution center. Also said they would call me within an hour. Well that was about 5 goesh ago. Garbage service. I have always had better results with USPS surprisingly. .update: 2 years later here we are same exact service. I am sitting in my office which is right by the front door. If I cant hear you you arent knocking AT ALL...
The worst customer service automatic line I have ever experienced. Not only does it not clearly understand the tracking number you give it but when it tries to direct you to an agent it sends you right back to trying to tell them a tracking number and repeats this process until you give up

Paid for express shipping that supposed to come on Friday and my package is not here. I called the customer rep number twice and talked to two different people.They told me I could pick it up at the ups distribution center and that I will receive a call for a special pick up time and I never received one. So I called the customer rep number twice today and was told that they don’t do a special pick up time. Then why was I told this yesterday not just once but twice. I’m pretty sure the driver never attempted to drop the package off. Supposedly my package was attempted to be delivered but where I live you can’t get into my building unless you have a key. If something is delivered through ups it usually just gets dropped off at the office. It was attempted to be delivered at 1:09pm so the office was still open. So I’m pretty sure the driver never attempted to drop the package off... very disappointed.
I have a package that was to be delivered by 8pm today. I noticed a few moments ago that it still had not been delivered. I checked our door and there was no slip or information of an attempted delivery either. When getting online it says there was a delivery attempt at 6:29 pm. I was home at that time and there was neither a note on the door or a notice left behind. Upon calling customer service I was given no explanation of why my package was not delivered. Customer service informed me that my package would be delivered to a local business tomorrow and that I could get it there, they were unable to provide me a time it would be there, they also mispronounced the name of the business several times and provided the wrong address twice. Beyond frustrated with this terrible service now, just hoping I can go get my package tomorrow.

You guys will be out of business in no time as I see through comments this is a common reacurance. Expected multiple packages to my home, which is new construction so gps does not take you all the way to the correct house number. However, it does take you to the correct street and my street is only the length of a football field also only has three or 4 houses done on it. So with that being said, not sure how many routes you set your drivers up with but there is absolutely no reason they cant take the time to find a house number when they are on the correct street. Also wanted to note my fiance ordered something through FedEx a week later than myself yesterday they dropped off the package no problems what-so-ever.

After working in the shipping industry I will never complain about a late package again. Its easy to judge a corporation as a whole but the reality is the people working there are only human. Most of them are hard working individuals who do their best to accomodate the customers. Now days anyone can Google their tracking numbers and get all the information on packages from any shipper. I love my UPS driver, and so do my dogs! Ive never had a problem with my deliveries locally from any carrier and I appreciate the ones who go above and beyond when out delivering my gifts in rain or snow. God Bless.

Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly people who waited on us. Expected to wait for long time but was first in line. The gentleman who waited on us was very friendly and was helpful. Did say that they were on Christmas hours and opening up earlier and staying open later. He also noted no cash just credit cards or checks accepted.

Requested to pick up my package since I missed my delivery. I was told I had up until 8:30pm to pick up my package from the 1-800 ups customer care rep, I was not told they had middle day closing hours. My sister and I arrived minutes before 5:30pm and was joined at the door by another ups worker who rung the door bell several times and through the door we all watched the man NOT open the door for us. The ups worker went through different doors to get in since the other worker did not open the doors for us and even he did not assist us! It is now Tuesday and my package was to be redelivered and left at my door as I changed my preference online (as told), yet they attempted to deliver it again today and they still did not leave my package, which I needed today! I have issues with this delivery company every time they have a package of mine. Poor service and poor customer service.
What a nightmare. Was supposed to receive a package on Monday. All of the sudden, after years and years of getting packages left on my door step, UPS decided to instead leave a note on my door. Drove to the warehouse to pick it up only to find it closed and the open hours incorrect. So I called and requested another delivery attempt. Was told to expect it in 24-48 hours. 3 days later, still no package.So from my original 2 Day Prime Shipping, a week goes by and still no package. Couldnt even return it because I never received it. Had to call both UPS and Amazon and try to explain to both companies the mess I was dealing with. Have never had issues like this with UPS before and hope this is a one time thing. Prime shipping is convenient for a reason. If I wanted to drive 35 mins to a UPS distribution center to pick up a package, I would have gone SHOPPING!!

Over the last week we’ve been VERY disappointed by the UPS delivery service in Kalamazoo! First, a driver sat outside of our home for 10 minutes and never came to our door. When he drove off I checked my tracking number and it said unable to deliver, resident not home (or something like that). So we had to pick up our package the next day at their distribution center (after waiting for this package all night). Today I checked on a package I sent out on Tuesday (Now Saturday) and it says it has never shipped. Called UPS and they said I’ll have to file a claim on Monday since the claims and investigation office is closed. $400 package lost!!!

I have never in my life had such an abysmal experience trying to ship something. Package is 3 days late and I cant reach anyone to find out where it is! Cant talk to anyone locally on the phone. No one at the 800 number has a clue or can do anything of value. I will be notifying Amazon of this experience and recommending that UPS not deliver for them anymore!!
My packages have always been there on time and was able to pick them up with no problem.
We missed our package delivery on Friday because we were not home. We called the number on the slip and they told us they would call back within the hour. They did not call back Friday night drove to the distribution center Saturday morning and it was closed but a man asked him if he cod help him. My husband explained the situation and the kind employee went and found our package and Gabe it to my husband. We were very pleased and the final outcome was terrific!
No way to call them directly. Spent hrs on phone to get nothing Accomplished .Waste of time trying to get someone to talk to and then they were not any help at all . It is easier to drive to the Distribution center and get your package, could save you a lot of time .
Package was late. got an email saying that it was out for delivery. later got an email saying there was a problem delivering the package to my address while I was in class. had to call two different numbers to figure out what was happening. went to the UPS location to pick it up. dude is snippy with me even though no one else is there. give him my info. he says my best bet is to come back tomorrow. God, I hate this company! It is my property. Why is it that a minor issue causes a whole other day of waiting? So inefficient. So irritating.
I saw your truck come by, then I heard a knock on our kitchen door. I couldn’t get to the door because I’m suffering with a case of shingles. When I got to the door, I saw that my wife had left the garage door open and your delivery person had left our package on the table in our garage. Now THAT is service! Talk about delivery! Nice job! We are unfortunate enough to have drivers that will NOT ring a doorbell or knock on a door and will throw small packages.The issue has been reported several times with video proof supplied and yet the problems continue. Perhaps theres a breakdown in communication somewhere but the consumer should not be the one who has to suffer because of it.I even requested Amazon to not use UPS for my packages any longer. That was going well until the Fedex / Amazon deal fell through.

I had the worst experience with UPS they always make promises then deliver late and they take my packages to my apt office without even bothering to knock on my door and I complained 5 times to the costumer service and they still do that. One time they even didnt deliver at all and made a note that they didnt find the apartment..!! And to complete the whole package of awesomeness they delivered one of my Amazon stuff to wrong apt office and I had to discover that by my self. What kind of delivery man is this. USPS is 1 million time better they never late and more patient when waiting by the door.
So UPS is supposedly in the delivery service business. And here we are, Christmas Eve (not even an official holiday), and a package that I was expecting (as well as, many others from the in area, Im sure) are sitting in a closed warehouse. Completely and totally disappointed. If I have my choice, I will not be using UPS ever again. Funny thing is is that the distribution center is less than 15 miles away and I cant even go pick it up...ugh 😡
I cant give them minus numbers. My carrier correction lazy slob wont deliver my packages unless the weather is perfect and he feels like doing his job. All I ever get on ups tracking is carrier delays on account of natural disasters or severe weather. I guess a few drops of rain or a couple snow flakes are considered severe. Yesterday was such a day, a few sprinkles and guess what another carrier delay. I will not use ups but many things I buy are shipped by ups so I guess Im screwed and at the mercy of an inferior package delivery service. I guess that is the new American way.
I paid extra for three day shipping that was supposed to be here on 6/4/2020 and now I’m not getting it until Monday. I will never ever order anything to be shipped through you guys again I’ll stick with fed ex.
I have never had a problem with UPS deliveries. Yesterday, 6/28/16, the UPS driver indicated my package was delivered to my back door at 12:36 pm, however it was no where to be found. I can only assume that it was delivered to another address, which is really a problem! When I called to question this, I was told that I had to go through my vendor to resolve the issue. Aaaagggghhhh!
I have several packages just sitting at this location and was just told they don’t deliver on Saturdays. I asked if I could pick them up as it is just 1 mile from my house and was told that is not an option either. Just does not make sense to me.

I was expecting two packages in the mail from two different places today (3/15/17). Both are from places that I have ordered from multiple times. Both are stuck at this place because of a Wrong shipping address. I havent moved and the address is right. If a package is delayed because of human error, thats fine. Dont tell me my shipping address is wrong when it is clearly correct. Now I may have to go pick up both packages myself just so I get them in a timely matter. Still waiting to hear back on how I can get my packages and how I can not have this issue again. Wish I could just say I never want my packages to be sent through this place.
Every time I get something from UPS they mess it up. From now on I’m not ordering something if it comes through them. This is the second time they’ve lost my package. This time they delivered something very expensive to the wrong house, despite my address being on the mail box. Someone was home at the time of delivery, and yet the driver claims up and down they left it at the door, even though someone was sitting three feet from the door, and said there was no knock or anything. I think as soon as the problem was pointed the driver should of had to go back and see if my house looked at all familiar to them. Screw you, UPS. People pay you to delivery stuff, not to throw it on a doorstep.
Today 3-13-17, I stayed at home waiting for a package to be delivered that needed a signature. I was sitting in my livingroom when the delivery person never knocked, and left a note on my door.I kept double checking to see if anyone had been here, and every time I checked there were no tracks in the driveway. I figured I would definitely know someone was here with the fresh dusting of snow on the ground, and our two dogs alert us sometimes when someone just pulls around in the drive. I never heard a thing! Since weve had issues in the past of this happening with UPS, I kept checking, making sure I was available when they showed up. I looked out our big picture window and saw tracks with the note on the door. So I called saying we would pick it up. I was informed by customer service that they would call me within the next hour to let me know when and where I could pick up the package. That was before 1pm. At 2pm I called again. I was then told because they didnt call me back within the hour as previously mentioned, I would need to just wait the rest of the day for someone to call me back. Yes, I clarified with her that not only had I waited all morning for the delivery, another hour plus to wait for a call back, that I needed to wait the rest of the day or at least until 5:30 pm for them to call me back. SERIOUSLY?!? After waiting on hold for a supervisor, I was told I could pick it up between 7:30-8:30 pm. And there goes my whole day. A whole day off work and dinner with friends that need to be canceled! Thanks for failing us again UPS!
I have a package that I paid over night delivery for that was due at my address on 10/23/17!!! I download the mobile app to track my package easy I noticed after awaiting half the day it said I moved and no longer lived at the place I had been sitting all day!! So I called several times to have them verify my address and them tell me someone will call me within an hour to inform me of what going on. I have still received no call, no email or anything and told the same today with still nothing 10/24/17!!! I m am now told it will it will be 10 25 17 and thats two days late so now Im wasted three days of lost time with no money and nobodys going to make that up plus they robbed me of the $25 overnight shipping fee and Ive lied to me repeatedly something needs to be done with this company and their policies because theyre unacceptable and they have no customer service skills at all theyre all their offices should have in office phone to be able to reach them that way you can find out whats really going on with your package
I called three times today to the 1-800 number. You cannot talk to anyone locally. The first 2 times, the customer service representative said someone would call me within the hour. I wanted to pick up my package since they delivered it and I was not home. They never called. I called the third time, an hour and a half after the last call, the representative stated that the UPS pickup location was now closed. Oddly, when I called before, the person said I could pick it up between 7:30 and 8 p.m. But no one called me to tell me this. And I called at 5:30 pm. So apparently I cant pick it up between 7:30 and 8 p.m. It would be great if you can talk to someone who works locally and can actually track whether the package was at the store. The second time I called, she said she couldnt figure out where the package was...

UPS had my address off by 1 digit. So I got to go pickup my package. Nice delivery service they offer. Use FedEx and save yourself some trouble.

They lie to you, his company also hide any way possible to contact the right people to file a formal complaint on both a manager and a driver, they say they knock on the door when Ive been home all day, company is very deceptive, I watch a truck go by my house not more than a hundred yards away and then put my package out for another two days over the weekend

This is absolutely the worst delivery service. I ordered my sons birthday presents with amazon and have prime to be shipped in 2 days. Said it was out for delivery on Friday and then had an unexpected delay due to weather. Why would it be delayed by weather when all of the schools in the area were open and running school buses for crying out loud! So after talking to the call center that is located in east Asia they said the distribution center is closed on weekends and I will receive my package full of my sons bday presents on Monday the day after his party! I am furious!!! Their customer service is a joke because they do not have any. Absolutely ridiculous. I really hope amazon chooses a different delivery service for their customers because Im just about over it. Definitely not the first time this has happened. Im more furious that this is something for my 5 yr old and need it today! How am I supposed to tell a 5 yr old that he wont be getting presents on his bday?! Ugh!!!!

After they emailed me stating they were unable to find my address although I saw them pull in and turn around, I called the customer care line and was told I would receive a call within an hour from a representative that would assist me in receiving my package after waiting for several hours trying to be patient, and not receiving any type of contact from them, I decided to call again and was told my package was at the customer service center. Its now 6:30 pm and theyre closed for the weekend and now I have to wait until Monday for my package. If it were up to me I would NEVER deal wit UPS again.
This place is the worst! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Ive advised my family to never send me anything through UPS anymore. Two packagesdelivered in the last two weeks that went to wrong addresses. The first time, the person who got it nicely brought it over. The second time, $100 online order gone, delivered to the side door when THERE IS NO SIDE DOOR ON THE PROPERTY! Four calls to the nation wide 800 number trying to find out what happened, each time being told I would get a call from the local center. A week later and I still havent heard from them about what they are going to do to right their mistake.I am so disappointed in this company, and pissed off that someone else is enjoying my $100.
Terrible customer service, for the life of them, cannot find our address even though USPS and FedEx does. This UPS is terrible and custom order service calls are filled with “yes” men and women who do nothing change the problem. If you are able, never request any package to be delivered by UPS. They are unintelligent fools.

House is not visible from road but mailbox has numbers clearly on it. Paid extra for Express shipping to find out my package was sent to Kentucky when Im in Michigan.

What a worthless joke of a company. My daughter got a gift card from her uncle, order a toy she wanted, was suppose to be delivered on Thursday, got a weather notification saying it would be a day late. However when I got another weather notification Friday form Oshtemo I have had it. I live 19 miles away and when I got the weather notification at 8pm, it was clear and cold. Weather my arse, laziness is more like it. Now I to tell my daughter she cant get package until Monday, if someone there can actually get off their butt and do their job and deliver it!

Someone has been home ALL week for a package pick up. After the 2nd attempt (no one heard the door bell and the dog never barked) I took it to the Distribution Center. Sorry, Driver has the label. Just write a note and theyll pick t up. Wrote a note....left package by door....nope, no one heard doorbell, dog didnt bark, and the package sits there with a 3 Attempts receipt attached. I hate corporations...
Per UPS tracking my package was out for delivery on Monday. I checked for the package each evening after work with nothing found until Wednesday when three Notices where pasted on the door. The top notice notifying me that it was the final attempt to deliver. I know these notices were not there the previous two evenings. Now I have to drive 26 miles after getting out of work, and before they close to pick up the package. As with other reviewers I will avoid using UPS in the future and use the Post Office if possible. At least they are closer when I have to pick up a package.
The delivery driver lied and never attempted to deliver my package. I talked to four different representatives that were extremely unhelpful. I paid extra for shipping and now didn’t even get my package on time. Now I’m stuck waiting until Late tonight and have to drive 25 minutes out to pick up a package. The driver lied. If he did actually come he would of left a notice. Then I couldn’t even get my refund through UPS. Worst customer service ever.
Worst experience of any shipper. Drivers lie when adding notes to file because if they came to the location like they said, they would realize that a residence is not the same as a business.

This UPS facility needs to be closed down. They dont deliver packages. You CANNOT call them on the phone. They treat customers like garbage. They hired a cheap answering service in another country who dont understand English to blow you off on the phone if you call. What can Brown do for you? Lose your package and insult you.
I called at 11:00am to have a freight pickup scheduled. I was told it would be picked up by 5pm. At 4:50pm I called to check the status and was told the driver would be there by 5:00. I said the doors get locked at 5:00. At 5:05 it was not yet picked up. With a 6 hour window how does this happen? I have also scheduled package pickups with several hours advance notice and on many occasions the packages do not get picked up. FedEx always shows up within 1 hour of my pickup request.
Very disappointed with the lack of local pick up on Saturdays. Your package can arrive at 1pm Friday and you wont get until 1pm or later Monday morning. Even tho its sitting 10minutes away in a warehouse.
I dont even want to give a single star. Worst service ever. I made an online order which had 2 components. One was supposed to come from North Carolina & other from China. The NC component came as scheduled, but it said the apartment was missing for the 2nd component. I had to make 7-8 calls to the customer service who are useless. Havent received my package yet. This is the 3rd time this thing has happened to me with UPS. This never with Fed-Ex & DHL.
