This is an excellent specialty shoe store. The staff here is very knowledgeable and passionate about footwear. Mike helped us look for a particularly unique shoe size, he even helped me re-tie my shoes to better accommodate my feet. Although due to our limited time, we werent able to find what we were looking for, Mike did offer to special order something that met our needs.I would recommend this to anyone, whether they are looking for just the right shoe or a quality customer experience.

Sarah was extremely patient, kind, and helpful today when my parents and I came into the store to try to fit my mom for some shoes. Mom is difficult to fit, and Sarah made the whole experience so much better. Thank you!

Very good work on shoe repair, no doubt about that. But I thought that they were a bit expensive this time. I had some straps tightened that were wearing out and new soles put on my ankle boots. Ran me $63.00. The shoe shine was complimentary so I was told, upon pickup.

These guys do an amazing job repairing shoes. I’ve held on to some of my favorite pairs over the years in the back of my closet— waiting for the right time to get them fixed. I have had nothing but excellent service from the shoe repair department. Mo was wonderful in helping me to select new laces and provided a fantastic shoe shine as well. He also did a great job explaining what he was going to do during the shine (See before and after shots of my brown wingtips in Photos) . Leo provided advice on extending the life of these shoes a year ago and did great work rebuilding the heels and adjusting sole to compensate for how I walk. Excellent service and I would highly recommend them for any shoe/boot repair or any other related work! I drive 25 minutes just for their services.

The only place I get shoes is at Corey‘s Bootery. The service and quality make it so that I don’t want to go anywhere else. The certified staff do a fantastic job. I had my very abused birkenstocks resoled by Moe and I couldnt be happier! They were done about an hour after I dropped them off and with great service. Not only did their cobbler resole them, but he also resealed the cork and treated the leather. I wear my birks year round and put a lot of miles on them so to me the $75 to get them better than new is well worth it.

Came in to ask about having me soles put on my shoes. The cobbler was very nice and touched up my shoes while I waited at no charge. I will bring the rest back in to have them done!! Great place!

I stopped in expecting to drop off a pair a naot shoes for repair. They fixed them on the spot, polished and waterproofed them to boot. Oh, and I did I say they didnt charge me?!? Awesome shoes and even more awesome service😄

My husband has some issue that creates problems for his feet, especially if wearing cheaply made shoes. We were so pleased with the experience here finding not only well made shoes, but also excellent customer service! They took their time, finding just the right size and initial fit, then reevaluating and took further steps to make sure the shoes fit perfectly and performed exquisitely for his unique individual needs. So impressed, I picked up a couple of pairs of shoes for me, too! Dont forget to checkout the bargain basement selection!

Went in to get the heels replaced on a pair of boots. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. Multiple employees checked with me to make sure I was being helped. Was honestly expecting to pay twice what I did. I would definitely recommend this place for shoe repair needs.

I recently stopped in to this locally owned business. I was delighted to receive such outstanding customer service! I was assisted by the nicest woman, her name was Michele. She was so very kind, patient and helpful. I purchased a pair of shoes that day, the quality is top notch they are also so very comfortable too! This is a great business to support if you love to shop local to stimulate the economy :)

Knowledgeable sales personnel answered as all my questions because they wanted to help me get the right shoe. We tried many options. Success achieved. I love my birkenstocks. I will be back! I should say, I read all the reviews about this and other shoe repair shops when I was looking for a place to fix my shoes, I took three pairs, and to be frank I was not wrong. I am writing this review a few hours after I took my shoes, the staff were more than friendly and willing to help in each thing I asked. Ever get the feeling of being at home in someones place/shop? that was the feeling. They explained everything I needed to know. I promise to write another review when I get my shoes in a few days time. Its a cool place for a repair service of that one shoe you really like and feel unstoppable and comfortable when in them. They also have a large selection of Shoes, sandals as well as shoe accessories. The salesman told me it would 5 to 7 days for my mothers shoes to arrive. When I called back in a week the young lady told me they hadnt gotten a shipment from that manufacturer in a month and she couldnt find the order. I am now waiting for a call back, which hasnt come. Each time I call no one answers. Very frustrated and angry about the lies and lack of service. Would give less than one star if I could. Coreys has been around a long time; I want them to be a good store I can recommend. Now I understand why so many people tried to talk me out of going there.

I now know why insurance rates are through the roof. Messa wont pay their claims now so they want me to pay out of pocket when I have a prescription, doctor notes, etc. Retail shoes $120 for brooks and $220.00 for Chippewa Boots and they charge 2018 $1120.00, 2017 $1440.00.....wow!!!!

Nice people but Everytime I go in for a shoe repair the shoe repair dude is on vacation. Must make some good money to go on so many vacations a lot. But damn i waited almost 4 weeks for a simple repair. At least take your customers shoes in shoes briefcase and fix them on vacation. We will just call it a shoe fixin vacation. Sounds fun!

Will never go back. It took them literally months to get our boots. Still havent got my youngest sons. So dont know whats going on at this point. Very disappointed!

Sadly, a big disappointment. After a quick measurement (length only) the salesman brought out one pair. It needed to be a half size larger for my larger foot so they said they would order it, but called me back and said the half size wasnt available it would have to be the next size up, which would be a whole size too large! I can buy too large, badly fitting boots anywhere for a lot less money. They were uninterested in helping me any further. Reading the reviews I guess it is a crapshoot, you may get really, really lucky and get whoever that helpful salesperson is, or you will get a salesperson who just wants to move along to the next customer. Id say its not worth the high prices and the drive all the way over there.

I have very wide feet. I have never worn a pair of shoes that fit as well as the Brooks running shoes that I bought from Coreys Bootery. I was very impressed with their skill in their trade. The fit my feet more accurately than any other store ever has. I will definitely be back as Coreys Bootery is now my favorite Kalamazoo shoe store.

The service is great! The associates are very friendly and extremely helpful. The only downside is that this place can be VERY busy at times and you might be there a while. However, on other days, youre in and out!

We use Coreys to put shoe lifts on our daughters shoes. They are very reasonable cost wise and very quick. I highly recommend their repair services.

My favorite pair of shoes had seen better days, so in the age of internet shopping, I figured I would purchase an identical pair from some warehouse halfway across the country. This did not pan out, so I took my worn out disasters to Coreys Bootery and asked, Can you save these... somehow? Sure enough, they did and in less time for less money than I imagined to boot. I wanted to like Coreys Bootery and support a local small business. However, after bring 3 pair of shoes for minor repair and polishing, 2 pair were lost. I can understand bad things happen. But the process I went through to try and make things right was ridiculous. It took 3-4 phone calls and multiple stops to try and allow them time to find them in the basement. Ii finally asked for the manager and the process continued of promises to find them and or replacement and then nothing. I finally did receive a replacement for one of the shoes and I just gave up the other. I put way too much time into this.Organize your store! Take care of problems immediately, and treat customer with respect.I am sorry to say I will never buy anything from this store again. I will rather order on line or to another store.

They have very knowledgeable staff who are extremely patient and helpful. Additionally, their shoe repair prices cant be beat! I take all my shoes, even luggage, there for repairs.
