I cannot give this establishment enough good compliments. Teresa and her team helped me with my wedding dress alterations after another tailoring business in Kalamazoo was dismissive and panicked about the time it would take to alter my dress after they quoted me the wrong turnaround time. Teresa and her team are true angels, they helped tremendously with my wedding dress emergency!! I brought in two dresses to this establishment to see how they can help me after weight loss and needing my mermaid dress to fit. The dresses were the same but one had custom measurements from a year ago that was now too big and one dress was my normal wedding dress size but was too small. The bigger dress would have needed a lot of alterations due to the beading needing to be reworked but they said they could make it happen in 3 weeks. They also gave me the option of adding a corset back to the smaller wedding dress. I thanked them for their creativity and decided to go with the corset back option and to have the dress let out. The dress turned out amazing!! The prices were amazing and everyone is so friendly and that made the process even better. They had me in my second fitting within 2 weeks. I cannot thank them enough for the great customer service and them wanting to rapidly solve my problem. First time using a tailor-needed stretch pants hemmed. Personable, reasonable price & absolutely professional! I couldnt tell the pants had rehemmed, it was a marvelous job. I know who Ill use in the future & recommend toy friends.

First thing that we liked about this place is that the lady was extremely friendly and professional. Seemed willing to help and offered several options tailored to my needs and the esthetic of the garment. Second, her shop is super cozy and displayed a seasonal flair. Lastly, she was very accommodating and understanding of my timeline. Pricing was very reasonable, even with a rush fee. Great quality work! I’d definitely recommend using her services.

For my wedding dress, Teresa and her staff created a bustle, hemmed it, added to the neckline, and altered it to absolute perfection. If I could give no stars I would poor customer service and poor quality of work ruined a sentiment pillow. I received in memory of my late mother that I took there to have some of the stuffing removed avoid this place unless you want your items damaged

I brought a store bought suit into Teresas to have it fitted for my 10 year old sons event. Alterations were made perfectly to the pants and suit coat for a reasonable cost. The A+ customer service and courtesy is refreshing and Ill certainly be back with any future projects.

My husband is hard on his work clothes especially his Carhartts ( winter ones ) so I bring his Carhartts here when repairs are needed. Always returned in a timely manner and fixed perfectly. Always satisfied with the service.

I have been going to them since I first had my wedding dress redone to fit my daughter. They seem to fix every problem, at reasonable prices. They just fixed a beautiful coat I got at Christmas and I couldnt even see where it had been ripped. Im so happy! They are always happy, responsible, and my tailor of choice!

Our daughter was recently married (here in Michigan) and had purchased a wedding dress in Maine, where she is now living. She brought the dress back to Michigan and it needed some alterations. Teresas made the needed alterations and added two loosely fitting epaulets to the shoulders that were absolutely perfect! They really made the dress look wonderful! And, they were able to do the alterations very quickly, as our daughter was back and forth to Maine. My daughter loved the dress, as we all did, and it made her day extra special to have her ‘perfect’ dress! We can’t thank you enough!

Being short I sometimes worry about pants being too long but not anymore. Teresa fixes whatever I bring to her with no problem. As long as they fit in the waist she makes the length right for me.

Teresas Tailoring completely ruined my wedding dress. My dress was lace and needed to be taken up. Teresa told me it would be $400 because they had to take off the lace aplique trim and re-attach it. When I got my dress, Maryann had cut right through the applique, ruining the scallop look. They also got blood on the front of my dress, made it too short, and mis-stiched the bustle. My dress wasnt ready until the week before my wedding, which was two weeks later than I was quoted. When I contacted Teresa, explaining what had gone wrong, she refused to re-fund my money. They ruined a $1000 wedding dress, and charged me $400 for the worst wedding dress alterations I have ever seen. I ended up finding another seamstress who was able to patch together the pieces in a short period of time. The new seamstress told me I should take Teresa to court because what was done to my dress is an atrocity in the sewing world. I tried to settle out of court, but Teresa refused to talk to me, instead, sending a mediator that would charge me $150 to settle the issue. I declined and am still considering small claims court. More than anything, I just want my money back and I want her shop to not ruin anyone elses special day. I have pictures which I will try to post as well.

Teresa has fixed clothes for us at least 10 times. Anything from buttons to complicated alterations. Shes an amazing seamstress.
