One of service technicians said the problem with my bike is my heavy weight. But he sold me the bike no problem. The other guy is super kind and is extremely helpful, but he is not there all the time. I do all my service at other stores now and have had no problems.

Kzoo Swift is a neighborhood gem! Great stock of bikes, personalized service, and friendly employees. I interacted mostly with the owner, who is awesome. I rented a bike for a week and had a perfect experience from start to finish. Dont go to a big chain store for your bike--go here instead!

We know Ryan since 2013 before he set up Kzoo Swift, when he sold us two second-hand bikes from the basement of a shop on the Kalamazoo Mall. When we came back in 2016, we were happy to meet him again in his new shop, buying the two bikes we now use. The shop has grown and so the wide range of bikes (new and second hand) and accessories he now offers. He addresses all our bike needs particularly tuneups and repairs. By far the best bike shop in town, personalized service! Recommended.

I lucked out. Just shopping around for a sweet BMX, I happen to stumble upon this place. They just happened to have the last Big Ripper in West Michigan. What a great bunch of guys. They all looked like they been doing this their hole life.The shop is owed buy the main mechanic. They rebuild good used and vintage bikes.Going back to find my wife a sweet ride next.

I have sold bikes to this shop and have had a number of my bikes serviced here. This place has used bikes but their good quality and they o have amazing warranties if you purchase a bike from them. Their used bikes often have new upgraded components put on or, new cables replace, seats! Often they make their bikes stand apart so your bike ends up being one of a kind! The used bikes you are getting from this shop are good quality and assembled better than any box store bike. I truly believe you get what you pay for! Great shop. Wonderful service! Unique shop! I have been in and around the bike industry in one way or another for about 25 years, even running my own. This place gets it. They have the genuine atmosphere that makes a successful shop as well as being unique in their offerings, from inexpensive refurbished bikes to newer high end offerings. I’ve seen the owner help get stolen bikes returned to their owners as give bikes away to kids for free. They deserve your business because they embody the spirit of the local bike shop as well or better than any I’ve seen.

Purchased my sons second bike from Kzoo Swift, trading in his old one for very respectable credit. Ryan spent a good amount of time showing my 11 year old all the options he had for either an already built used bike or something he could create just for him. It was a pleasant experience we will share with others and certainly enjoyed. We will return when this bike is too small and he’s fully grown! 😁

I got such wonderful personalized service when I went to buy a new bike at Swift! It was extra awesome that I could bring my old bike from a decade ago for a discount on the new one. This place is a great business that only wants the best for their customers and I can tell they truly care! Highly recommend!

All I wanted was 2 tires and 2 tubes. The guy tried to solicit side work from me to put together a bike I was already putting together, and couldnt tell me if he could even do the job without the bike frame? I want the tubes and tires on the rims not on the frame buddy. You just lost my respect and business. Remember everyone, customer service is imperative, especially during these uncertain times.

This shop like very many other in the industry are facing some interesting times. On one had the industry has been facing a shortage of bikes due to the sudden demand for bicycles. I purchased a frame kit from this store on eBay. They apparently miscalculated the shipping cost and tried to ask me for more money once they had already made the sale. eBay policy says a seller can never ask for more money. I call eBay and they tell me thats the policy, but they wont actually enforce it. This is because the store canceled the order and told eBay that I requested that, which I definitely did not. Turns out when the refund went through PayPal, the currency conversion (within just a 24 hour span) meant a refund thats $100 less than I paid. So, to sum up: unethical business practices, incredibly poor communication, violation of explicit eBay policies, and absolutely no regard for customers. Apparently Im supposed to pay for their mistakes and they wont even answer messages. UPDATE (in light of owners response): There was not an effort to resolve the problem - not al all. There was a unilateral cancelling of my order, which violated two eBay policies (asking for more money for shipping and cancelling the order without my consent). The owner then relisted the item and sold it (and presumably made money, while I lost money). The only thing frustrating for them is that people now know that they have little integrity.

Ive picked up many parts and accessories here, as well as all of my tune ups and maintenance for the last few seasons. The work is always on time and top notch. Most recently they completely rebuilt my moms 25 year old bike. Im looking forward to at least another 25 years.

The guys at Kzoo Swift helped me out when I was in a bad spot and treated me with the best service and did so in a timely manner. I had two bicycles that needed work and I was able to leave one there to be serviced. I let them know what day that I wanted to pick it up and they called me to let me know when it was ready. Sure enough it was ready for me on the day I needed it. I went in and settled the bill and left the other bicycle and I was pleasantly suprised with a phone call from Kzoo Swift saying that the bicycle was ready and that it was a very simple fix. Supply across the country is low so manage your expectations of bike shops right now. They can only sell what they can get, and they cant lose money to get you on a bike.

This is a great local bike shop staffed by some really genuine people. Stopped by to ask a question on a vintage road bike that I am repairing and the owner took the time to throw my bike on the stand and proceeded to give it a quick tune up, while educating me on some bike maintenance. Beautiful bike, reasonable sale. But beware this bike shop doesn’t offer refunds if you’re not completely satisfied. Something else to consider before buying a bike is don’t buy any bicycles with genders or baskets that aren’t detachable. The reason for that is, you don’t know if your basket will even get thru your door or not. For the no fender part, you are going to go thru he’ll by unscrewing everything just to change a tire. Good luck finding anyone who likes fixing it. Also beware of flashy expensive bikes. You might become a victim of unwanted attention from the wrong crowd. With all that being said, I’d still recommend kazoo swift if you’re looking for a bike but don’t go all mideval with flashy bike parts and accessories unless you’re looking for increased trouble. And don’t forget.....all sales are final!!! Unfortunately bikes don’t come with trial offers so how would you know if that bike isn’t for you? This is why reviews may be important so now you won’t make a mistake like I did.

Great place. They have a lot of high quality refurbished bikes at reasonable rates. Bike vary from small kids bikes to cruisers and high end mountain or road bikes. They also do bike repair and maintenance as well. I brought my rear wheel there for what I though was to replace it, but after looking at it, I was told issue was simple and just needed to replace the tire (rubber)--Good as new at a very reasonable price. Ill be back.

Last summer, I bought a used Trek Bike here for what I thought was an astronomical price, $300. I LOVED it and still do. I just took it in last week for a tune up as the gears didnt seem to be shifting properly and the chain had slipped off a couple times. Kzoo Swift suggested changing from friction shifters to click shifters. I gave them the go ahead. WOW!! As much as I loved my bike and enjoyed riding it, it is 100% better than before - and for not a helluva lot of money! Thank you, Kzoo Swift!!!!

Its a small shop but they still have a pretty good selection of bikes and their service is pretty good. I brought my bike here not long after I had it at Pedal for some general maintenance and Pedal said everything was good to go but some things didnt feel right and then I got a flat. These guys fixed the flat, have me a good deal on a new tire and then saw that my brakes needed to be replaced which is what I thought but Pedal didnt seem to think so. So had them do that and it took a bit longer than I would have liked to get it all done but some parts had to be ordered and it is a small shop

Showed us a neat Franken bike and my daughter took it for a test ride. Theyve got a lot of great refurbished bikes, many better than new, and breathing life back into perfectly good bikes. All sizes and types for all ages. Very informative and helpful to customers. Good range of prices (affordable).

Great place to check out if you are looking for a clean, well maintained older bike. Pretty good selection, when I was in the store last. Friendly, knowledgeable and courteous staff. Also had some very reasonably priced brand new fat bikes by Reid. Beautiful paint jobs on these fat bikes and some of the best values Ive seen on a fat bike. Some accessories in stock and Im sure they service bikes also.
