Their phone etiquette isnt the best but, they did great work on my vehicle, they were able to get it done fast and I was charged less than I was originally quoted. Not too bad of a shop. I would definitely recommend you at least check it out if you need some work done.

I was absolutely satisfied with my experience here! I needed repairs done to my Honda Odyssey, and my neighbor recommended Woodwards. The dealership was going to charge $1450 for the same repairs, and they were going to keep my van for 1 1/2 days. Woodwards did the same job for $800 in 4 hours. They saved me time and money, and my van is working great. I am happy to have found a local business with great service and quality work!

20 years ago a neighbor who is a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo recommended Woodwards to me and they have taken care of my familys cars ever since. Ron and Greg are the best (I was telling Ron once years ago about my kid crashing his first go Kart and he had us bring it in so he could straighten the frame). They have always treated us well and fairly and they do great work.

Always fast, affordable and honest work! I remember going to get my car looked at for some work at Monroes and they were going to charge me over 2k dollars for an absurd amount of issues my car didnt even have. I took it to Woodwards and they replaced the real issue for just $300. Recently got a new AC belt for just $79. Only place in Kalamazoo I feel comfortable taking my car to!

A couple of people from the church I attend told me about this place. I brought both of my vehicles to get serviced. The gentleman at the front desk was straight forward with me and I felt like the he and the technicians were honest. They presented me a fair price and was prompt about getting work done.Additionally, I have taken advantage of the curtesy car to get me where I needed to go when I needed to drop my vehicle off.

So i brought my 2002 with over 200k miles on it in expecting a super exoensive repair job they told me what it needed got it done fairly quickly and cheaper than i had expected my van runs like its brand new i was litterally about to cry ecstatic about how well it runs now. Went and had repairs done to my belt and tension pulley today. I can say without a doubt this is one of the best mechanic shops I have ever been to. Pricing was great and the turn around time was quick and efficient. I will be a returning customer without a doubt!

You dont know who to trust. I travel a lot for work and require a lot of maintenance on my vehicles. This garage was not only honest and trustworthy, they went above and beyond to satisfy me as a costumer even though I was not a repeat customer. If I could give more than 5 Stars, I certainly would. A+ garage.

We had our three cars fix at. Woodward’s. They are dismissive towards women. The put a motor in one of my cars. When I was driving the fixed car, the car would surge. It surged with no push of the gas. I toke the car back, to have it check. No one called to say it was fixed for five days. I drove to check if they worked on my car. The car sat in the same space, every day for five days. They called me to pick up my car. They told me it was fine. it wasn’t. I didn’t drive it for three months. When I had to drive it the brakes were bad and the master cylinders was bad. Both had to o be fixed. It cost me 1200+ dollar. They should have known, there was a problem.

Had truck 4 weeks didnt fix main prob. As was suppose to .. came out more .. messed up before went in.. could drive before went in came out .. sensors bad .. misfire cylinder 8 .. and .. emissions.. psu code .. battery pull .. drawing power.... Charged almost 3500.. and while in their care.. truck got ransacked and .. 2 blankets got stole Harley my mom bought my boys before died..

I’ve had the displeasure of dealing with this shop a handful of times and have had horrible service every time.One time for instance I took a truck in to check a noice coming from the engine, they looked it over for a day and said there was nothing wrong with the engine and the noice was normal. Paid for the service, drove it for about 3 miles before it started overheating only to find out after further inspection that they had bled the coolant but forgot to put any back in. I called to complain but the service tech was super rude and said they had nothing to do with it. After taking the truck to a different shop they found that the engine noice was due to faulty cam phasers.Long story short I would not recommend this place.

Service quality is hit and miss. Not recommended for transmission work. Had service done Nov. 18 and they forgot to hook things back together before telling me it was done. Its also not the least expensive place for service.

Great great great! Was told my car had a $1200+ issue by a mechanic at the dealership which wasnt the case AT ALL! I was going to go along with it because Im no mechanic plus I had a warranty and just wanted the issue fixed. My uncle (who knows a lot about cars) asked me a few questions then told me to go to Woodwards Garage for a second opinion. The so-called $1200+ issue was fixed for $26. Honest staff, quick and efficient service, my issue was fixed, and my car has been running great ever since!

First the good. He was friendly and didnt seem bothered that I called back several times with questions.Now the bad.I brought a truck here too check it out before I bought it because it was too far from my family mechanic to bring it there. The guy looked it over. I specifically asked about the transmission and the 4x4 he said the 4x4 was good but a few other things needed attentionProblems found:1 rusty transmission pan2 warped front rotors3 slightly damp power steering hose (said it wasnt even worth mentioning though)He then proceeded to tell the owner of the truck that the repairs definitely wouldnt be over $300 so thats is all I could get him to drop the priceSo I bought it and had the mechanic my family has been going to for over 15 years do the repairs. He showed me a picture of the power steering hose lined with drips leaking pretty bad and told me the 4x4 was stuck on and needed all new parts.So I went from an estimated $300 to $1500My mechanic has no idea how the owner of this place came up with the estimate except that he was gonna use really cheap parts because the transmission pan itself couldnt be replaced with the necessary fluid and filter for less than $400 and then you add the roters that I was told needed to be replaced too and you are already at $550 just from what Woodward found. Much more than the $300 that he told the owner. I was the one paying him. He shouldnt have even told the owner what the cost of repairs were.An I dont know how he missed the 4x4 when I specifically asked about that.

Simple, straightforward garage. I had my van towed here, and they told me the exact date they would be able to look at it. They called me that day and told me exactly what was wrong and the exact price it would be out the door (including parts, labor, and ALL fees.) Once I gave them the go-ahead, they told me it would be done the next day at noon... the next day at just after noon, they called me and said it was done! Van is running smoothly and was just under the quotes price.If you are looking for a no-nonsense, affordable garage for car repairs, call Woodwards!

Woodwards has always been the place to take my vehicles over the years. They have the fast, reliable, and low cost fixes for your car that will keep you happy and on the road. With the option to leave your car overnight and have them work on it the next day is very nice as well. Normal repairs take a day or less with most cars.

Shady business. Had an issue a few years back when I was in college, and Facebook reminded me in my “on this day” memories. “I took my truck in on April 23 because my left tire was making noise and when I would turn my steering wheel would rumble. They replaced the wheel bearing and upper and lower ball joints and it cost me $750. Now, 1 month later, which they have a 90 day warranty on repairs, the EXACT SAME THING started to happen. Same noise, same place, same rumbling. I took it in and they ended up saying my power steering fluid was leaking so he just repaired the leak so I didnt have to buy a new one. $31 for that. Theres just no way it was a different issue than the first time I took it in. And when I got upset at him about it he just told me I didnt know cars. Which, granted, maybe I dont know how to fix them, but I sure DO know that it was doing the EXACT same thing as before and theres just no way I could see the initial repairs even being necessary if all it was was a power steering fluid leak. Never returning to Woodwards and wouldnt recommend it to anyone.”

My car wouldnt start and I had towed it to the Nissan dealership. After paying $98 to diagnose the problem of a fuel pump, they wanted to charge me $900 to fix it. Feeling it was way over priced I called my landlord and he referred me to Woodwards Garage and that his family and him have been going to them for all of his car and truck issues. They priced me $300 cheaper to fix it and was very quick to fix it. They were nice enough to hold my car for over a week because I had to go out of town right away. Great customer service!These guys will be the place where I can trust them to fix my car from now on.

Been here several times. Had a couple misrepairs and they stand behind their work. When you get a brake job they replace everything (rotors, pads and calipers) so it is going to cost more but you know it is done right.No skimping on parts.Also great for used car inspections. Diagnosed a blown head gasket on a vehicle I thought was running perfectly fine.Trust them for doing the job right at a fair price.

Used to be the best garage in town. I dont know if their staff changed or what, but the past 3 or 4 times I went there I had a negative experience. My dad had his oil changed there and they left the dipstick out, then he had his fuel filter changed and it leaked like a sieve. I had a switch put in to fix my dashboard lights and now my dashboard lights, tail lights, speedometer, turn signals, and radio dont work. They never payed for any rentals either, even though all of these things were directly caused by their incompetency. I really dont know what kind of rating to give them, since theyre both the best and worst shop in Kalamzoo.

My vehicle was towed to woodwards garage with a blown brake line. When I picked the vehicle up the brakes would barely stop the vehicle. The mechanic didnt bleed all of the air out of the lines. I called to ask about what could be done about it and was told, accidents happen. Poor service.
