I visited the service department at Seelye Ford today and I literally wept happy tears at the superior level of customer service I was given. I have been making all of my regularly scheduled maintenance appointments, but a while back I began hearing a noise coming from the front wheel. I recently took my F150 in for evaluation of a check engine light. While the diagnosis was done quickly, there was a short, and completely reasonable, delay in receiving the 2 parts needed for repair. Jeff kept me updated on the repair progress and unprompted, he offered to have my truck delivered to me at work. He went above and beyond what was necessary, and it was greatly appreciated. I have had similarly great service at Seelye for the 3 years I’ve owned my truck, and it is why I will continue to use Seelye exclusively for my truck service needs.

Taylor Crawford was extremely helpful during my leasing process. Even during this time of short inventory, she kept in touch with me whenever something came on the lot. She had everything taken care of before I came in, so all I had to do was sign the paperwork. 10/10 would recommend.

I do not recommend this auto dealer at all! they rush you through the process; they dont even take you out in the lot or let you choose a color unless you ask; and the receptionists are beyond rude, unhelpful and utterly lacking in customer service. the only positive is Mitch in the finance department as he was very helpful and communicative in facilitating my request for documentation regarding the sale of a vehicle. all in all, please take your business elsewhere.

I didn’t end up purchasing my new Bronco Sport from Seelye Ford in Kalamazoo. I feel that the salesperson I was working with, John Kerry, did his best to assist me, was helpful, and informative. However, the vehicle I was there to see was sold to someone else while I was test driving it. I was gone less than 5 minutes, returned with the intention of moving forward with the purchase and was told it was no longer available. I don’t think it was the fault of Mr. Kerry and most likely out of his control and perhaps a miscommunication amongst the sales staff. None the less, it left me feeling uneasy about moving forward with a purchase from Seelye Ford. If they couldn’t provide me with the decency of allowing me to make an offer on the vehicle I was literally sitting in, I have doubts about the focus and integrity of this establishment. I completely realize that there is a shortage of new inventory, but it simply was not fair of them to take a deposit over the phone from a different buyer when I was gone mere minutes. If I had known that had been the case, that the sales staff would stoop so low, I would have placed my own deposit on it to hold it. Mr. Kerry did offer to meet with me again to place an order for a vehicle but could not provide a solid ETA for such an order. His best guess was October, which is reasonable but just an estimate. I continued to search for the right car for me with actual availability and was lucky enough to make my purchase at Bosak Ford the same week as the fiasco at Seelye Ford. Again, my disappointment over the situation isn’t necessarily a negative reflection of Mr. Kerry’s efforts and kindness. He did what he could, but I feel that the practices of this dealership worked against me as a consumer and against Mr. Kerry as an employee.
