The people at Dykstra have been a great help in keeping my 1987 Audi 5000S on the road. Driving a 34 year old car requires good preventive maintenance. The guys at Dykstra have been invaluable.Several foreign car repair shops around town refused to even look at my car, saying, Its too old. Well, if thats true, then so am I. I am grateful for the honesty and expertise that Dykstra provides. My old car drives like Elviss private limo thanks to Matt, Michael, and Charles.

I have been taking my cars to Dykstra Auto, formerly Auto Analyst, for over 10 years. They are one of the few mechanics I trust to do real quality work while working with me each step of the way. The few times there has been confusion or issues with the work done they were great at discussing it and finding a positive solution. You can probably find cheaper auto shops in Kalamazoo, but you may have a hard time finding better ones.

Finished way quicker then expected was done in a matter of hours and kept me updated, so used to car places taking 3 or 4 days to even look at my car let alone fix it. Also loved that they didnt just look for the problem they also checked the rest of my car and sent me a list of things to look for. definitely would recommend and will be coming back when something else goes wrong!

The folks at Dykstra helped me out when my car broke down during a road trip. They were kind, professional, and did an excellent job on the repair. Grateful for their service!

Fuel pump Nd oil change for 1000 I feel I should of got more done for 1000

Car was overheating and had white smoke coming from the exaust. They told me it was a leaking hose and it also needed an oil change. Things that I couldn’t done myself but I reluctantly said yes because it had already been a week without my car. They charged me 500$ and then when it was “done” I got into my car and drove it an hour home. During the drive the check engine light came back on and when I started it up there was still white smoke coming from the exaust. I was hoping it would go away but it still hasn’t and it’s been 4 days. I don’t even want to take it back to them so they can charge me more to not fix it. At this point I’m thinking my best bet is to contact my lawyers for help. Please please please do not go to this place they WILL screw you over and take your money

I was very satisfied with the service that I received at Dykstra Auto Service. They were friendly, efficient, communicated well, and their pricing seemed fair and reasonable. They provided a written report, which included pictures of the repairs needed now and those that could wait, but will be coming up in future. I will definitely use Dykstra Auto Service again, and I would recommend them to others.I visited Dykstra again, this time to have a head lamp replaced. They had it in stock and were able to put it in quickly without my having to make an appointment. They were friendly and efficient. I plan to use them for future repairs, and recommend them to others.

Brought it in for an exhaust problem. I already had a quote from somewhere else for almost half of what they were asking. But since I did not have a mechanic of my own, I found them and was impressed with their Christian values. They phoned my fiance and told him the price. At the same time, they texted me a report on all the things they found wrong with the car. Had they sent the report to him, he would not have spent over $400 for exhaust work on the car.

Was extremely happy with my recent trip to Dykstra. The staff were positive and professional and gave honest feedback about my car issues. They even went as far to call the dealer and discuss the issues they found, and laid out all my options for me. I was burning through excess oil with the turbo in my car and they did a great job of explaining it to someone who isn’t well-versed with auto language. I will definitely be going back!

They messed up my car. Sure they figured out the check engine ssue but they made the issue a lot worst! They changed out my entire intake (something I didn’t even ask for) just for it to mess up the moment I drive off I would t use this company they honestly just want to make a quick buck off of you!

I have been going to Dykstra’s since 2007, when it was called Auto Analyst. I’ve had multiple types of repairs done on 4 cars and they always do an outstanding job. Their mechanics know what they’re doing and get the job done right, so the work lasts. It’s guaranteed anyway, but I’ve rarely had to bring it back for the same reason. Their customer service is phenomenal. They are professional yet friendly and they bend over backwards to accommodate you. When they have a loaner car, they allow you to use that and when they don’t, they will drive you home and pick you up when the work is done. Most importantly, THEY ARE HONEST! I had experiences years ago with mechanic shops doing things I was sure were ripping me off and I was at their mercy because I don’t know anything about cars. Over time I have learned that Charles and Michael give it to me straight, with no exaggeration of problems or suggesting work that doesn’t need to be done. Give them a try and I believe you will find a great business you can feel confident sticking with for all your automotive needs.

Super helpful and super friendly. Was having a lot of issues with my jeep and everytime they get me in and out in just about the same day. Michael is always great with answering my many questions because I don’t know much about cars. I will continue to bring my car here even for small things like an oil change, going to recommend them to all my friends!

I usually fix my own cars but unfortunately my engine seized on the highway and destroyed itself. The shop did everything they can to no avail, so they recommended an engine replacement. It was done in under a week, reasonable price, and the engine is running great. I chose this shop because they can do everything, and obviously do it well. They offered me a ride to pick up my car. Matt was helpful, responsible, and considerate. If you need a shop for any kind of repair, advice, and need it done quickly, I would recommend it. Their diagnostics also are good but my car is in good shape anyway. My car is a 2006 Ford Taurus.

Amazing and very friendly service every time. I cant stress the friendly part enough. These are some nice people. I had an unexpectedand unrelated issue after I picked my truck up the other day. It was 10 minutes before they closed and Derick behind the counter came right out, crawled under my truck and helped me out so I could get on my way. Outstanding service and incredible employees. Received outrageous quote for suspension. did oil change, but the bolt broke off and they werent able to reinstall the skid plate. I get that happens, but it wasnt mentioned at all. I happened to notice looking under the truck. I had to call them, they had to locate it, I had to go back and pick it up. Very unprofessional. They were very courteous when I talked to them, but offered nothing, no real reason, no effort to make it up. Asked about a noise/rubbing/vibration, and they said it was tires. I was skeptical and that was confirmed after purchasing new tires - problem still exists. Work done by a trainee, I believe, with apparently no supervision on a vehicle that i really like. I honestly cannot understand the good reviews.I had been there once before, seemed to go okay. Did expensive repairs, but I was not able to examine the quality of the repairs.UPDATE:Took the truck to another place near me (Keystone). Turns out I had two bad front bearings, which made me sense. Replaced them and now it runs like brand new.Also, they did try to contact me to talk about my experience, but I cant see how anything can change what happened, and I dont want them near my GX470 again, I have no confidence in their analysis - there was no mention of even checking the bearings, so I havent called back yet.

I’ve taken two of my cars here and each time they were very thorough and professional. My car especially was very complicated, but they did everything in their power to make it right and my car runs amazing since I’ve gotten it back. I have and will always continue to give them good word of mouth to my friends and family and send anyone I can their way! I recently moved to the area and have been looking for a quality mechanic that I could trust. So far A.A. has done a great job doing that. I do basic maintenance to my vehicle,but like to take it somewhere else to do the more in-depth work. I appreciate that they do a thorough inspection and let me know if something is dire, or just needs to be watched. And they never guilt you because you cant afford something in the moment. No hassle, but personable. I’ve actually not yet had a vehicle repaired here yet, though I’ve brought two of them in, but that was no fault of the guys at Auto Analyst. They were both older vehicles that had reached a point of not being worth the investment in major repairs. Auto Analyst has a very reasonable diagnosis fee and provides a superb level of detailed documentation from their inspections, which allowed me to know what I would be getting into, and there was no pressure to fix any identified issues. They gave me the time to decide how I wanted to proceed. I’ll continue to bring my vehicles here.

Auto Analyst got the car in earlier than expected, repaired the wheel bearing and alerted me to a significant fuel leak. The cost to repair the car was about 3 hours and am very pleased. I recommend these guys for any repairs.

I had an emergency and I called and I spoke to Charles after I explained to him my problem he said come on and well see what we can do. So I did and the charges were not harsh he did the favor and I appreciated the work.

I appreciated the response time and forum (text and detailed quote/report emailed) for sharing recommendations of service. I thought it was on the pricer end of work Ive had done and they were not following their own mask requirements which isnt good business to me.

I have taken my car to Auto Analyst 2 times now, the fist time was to get new breaks, I didn’t have a ride home and since I live pretty close they gave me a ride home! I thought that was pretty amazing! I also just had my Exhaust rebuilt. They were very quick and friendly! They let you know exactly what they will be doing and how much it will cost before they start and also showed me pictures. I highly recommend them!!

Ive been a customer for over 15 years with 3 cars. Theyre honest and their work is quality. If its not worth fixing, theyll tell you. If it should be fixed but it isnt urgent, theyll tell you. If they cant find the problem, theyll tell you. Theyre straight forward and can help you prioritize if you have multiple issues to address. On top of that they do quality work with quality parts. In 15 years, Ive never had work done that didnt fix the problem or had to be redone later. Never. Just a GOOD shop.

They are friendly they talk to you with respect and that’s why I deal with them and they are very informative about what’s best for your vehicle so in my opinion you pay for excellent service and they deliver!!!!

Recently had brake work done on my wifes Buick Rendezvous. As usual the service was great! Had such a pleasant experience I decided to bring my own Chevy Tahoe in the very next week to get the brakes done all the way around. I have never experienced better auto service than I did with the gentleman at Auto Analyst! I called Matt to get an appointment after my windshield wiper motor quit. Even though they were full of appointments up to the next week, Matt called me back immediately to fit me in before the weekend. They were quick to diagnose the problem, and even quicker to fix it. Matt even provided a loaner car so I could get to work while they completed the repair. Matt is a true gem. They will always be my choice for car repair in the future!

The staff was friendly! There was a mix up about what kind of oil that was put in my truck which was synthetic but the staff worked it out and I didn’t end up paying the price for synthetic which was awesome and Paul Lane did an excellent job. I have a vehicle that has been towed there since Saturday night. I k ow this place is busy but my truck is still sitting out where the tow driver put it. We are trying to work same shift with one vehicle. I sure wish they would get to my truck before the battery goes dead out there. I really need it back soon. They seem like they are a good repair shop and Im sure looking for a new repair shop due to mine closing down a short time ago. I will see what happens. Guess I may have to tow it somewhere else to get it fixed. I have since had this repair shop fix a fuel pump on this vehicle. It was fair priced and they did a good job. I know have a 2003 jeep wrangler there getting alot of work done. Picked up my jeep today and the mechanic went over everything with me and the parts that were replaced. I was impressed with this young mechanic and parts were guaranteed.

The front left side of my car had a humming noise and I told them to fix it.they didnt I just paid for a part that was needed but wasnt what I asked for. Then when asked about it they said they herd nothing after the test drive.

After trying to get into the dealership without success and a lot of run around, I called Auto Analyst. I spoke to Matt who was very helpful and gave me approximate repair cost but suggested to bring in for an exact diagnosis. I had a radiator leak and needed brakes. Matt ordered the parts, scheduled for drop off the next day and had a loaner for me. My car was repaired the same day and they did an AWESOME job. Matt is an amazing guy to meet when you walk in the door and can reduce the anxiety of high repair cost and was honest and upfront. Great customer service!!! Auto Analyst is my NEW repair shop. Auto analyst is absolutely awesome. Ive had to take my vehicle there two times, and each time they were fast, friendly, affordable. Often times I feel that auto repair shops try to take advantage of women, but not at auto analyst. The owner is a wonderful woman who is funny, and very knowledgeable. I truly feel that I am in good hands whenever I have to have my car serviced. They are so kind, and explain things in a way that someone who lacks in depth car knowledge will understand, without being condescending. I took my car to Auto Analyst because of all the good reviews, but this wasn’t my experience. I was told that the car transmission fluid needed to be replaced because it was dark, and others should be done soon. I had just checked all of these myself and they were fine including the brake fluid which was as clear as when it comes out of the bottle. To top it off, someone there caused an 8” scratch in the car and wouldn’t take responsibility. I had looked the car body over just a few days before when I ordered touch-up for some stone chip repairs. It had literally been sitting in the garage after this until the appointment because I have my own car to drive; this was a gift for my hard working daughter. I told all this to the owner. I showed her the transmission fluid against a white cloth and asked if it needed to be replaced and she said it was pink and fine. When I told her that replacement was recommended at a cost of nearly $100, she said that she was fine with that because she had just purchased a car for her child and replaced all the fluids. If I owned a car service business this might be a good idea, but I don’t have hundreds to throw away just “to be sure.” During the whole discussion, she kept saying what an honest business she ran. Totally delusional.

Would take my truck there from now on

I came here a little over a month ago, last minute, with a few hour job that turned into an all day job. They kept me updated, told me what they would do, and even stayed a little later to ensure I had the car for the weekend. I appreciated their work and should anything arise again they’ll be my go to.

They will lie to get more money out of you if they know they can. They told my dad there was 1500 worth of work that needed to be done and none of it was true. They charged me $30 to fix my windshield wiper and it broke again days later. If youve got money to spare, sure pick here, but if youre broke like me pick a different place.

I was experiencing problems with another Auto Shop. I decided to take it to Auto Analyst to get a second opinion. I have never been to this shop before but came in and told the gentleman my issues and concerns I was having, I asked for an engine check and said I would pay whatever the fee was. They understood my concerns and checked my engine for FREE and told me I didnt owe anything, it was a courtesy because of my dilemma. I was very thankful and impressed by their service. They went above and beyond to help me and they have my business moving forward!

Honest and good work. My truck stalled a week after I got it back which ended up being a defective sensor that was replaced brand new. I called Auto Analyst and Matt came out to where I was in 5-10 minutes, unplugged the sensor in the middle of an Intersection and got it running. The defective sensor was in no way an issue from Auto analyst. They took it back and replaced it with a brand new OEM one free of charge.Overall pleased with honesty and hospitality, would recommend

Great experience on my first visit. I would rate it more than five stars if I can. These guys go above and beyond their jobs.They were willing to take a look at my car earlier than my appointment. They were also very fast and reliable. I came in when they opened at 8:00 am. They told me it will take about 2-3 hours to complete. I told them I had to work at 10:00 am so they did their best and got it done in like an hour. These guys are professionals, theyll take in any car you have. I will be back. My car is good as new😀😀. Ive been to alot of different shops over the years and this the only honest shop I have found. Took in my 2014 impala because my ac wasnt working and my breaks were scraping. They fix them both and for a very good price. One shop told me 400 bucks to fix the ac because the car had been in a accident and it was too much in the way. Auto analysts fix it for 90 bucks and told me it just needed a charge and that a hose was unplugged. Been a loyal customer since!
